Kfc in Northampton

Overcharged compared to menu price, chips were cold and undercooked, the coating was next to non existent on the chicken, absolutely shocking! Will never return.

We come here regularly and find the food to be fine and the staff are lovely. However, the air-con isn't working and hasn't been working for YEARS. You need to sort this urgently in this really hot weather. The staff are clearly suffering.

Rude staff, wanted to overcharge vs KFC app price, argumentative and simply doesn’t know how to treat people let alone paying customers. KFC values ‘treat every guest like a friend’ but I was treated like I was robbing them because I asked for the offer price.

Cash only service tonight with no receipt given. Food not as ordered. Always get a receipt and check your order against it. This place is just so poor.

Absolutely disgusting!! Came in and order for my son's birthday only to get home and realise we have a whole meal missing. Called up and said that they needed to send a meal..they refused and said they will give me a code to come back and get it another time! I refused this and said I wanted a refund on my whole order as this isn't acceptable. The guy agreed to a full refund on the whole order and told me to come down. We drove all the way back for him to say we will only refund you for the meal! He lied down the phone and we have spent an hour of our evening on my son's birthday driving back an forth to KFC who not only served us crappy cold food, but lied and refused to give us a refund on the whole order! As if we would drive all the way back for £6! probably cost more than that in petrol wasted!!!! What a crappy end to the day.... I will never return!!!

First time visit order wrong , chips like rubber wings tasted 2 weeks old. Re heated. Staff looked unprofessional and not interested. What a mess. But what happens with all these bad reviews. Nothing. Went last week. Thought they might have improved Can’t believe it still the same. And still they get away with it. That’s it never again

What a terrible meal ..chips were warm and soggy and the chicken was dry ..no flavour.. not the original recipe..absolutely horrible sorry won't be eating it ever again

I’ve often questioned if this KFC unlawfully uses products from outside of the KFC supply chain. Gravy tasted really plastic and produced, chicken portions are low quality etc… They MUST be risking their franchise ! Visited today and the gents toilets are grubby, dust over the urinal, toilet has been out of service for months, the single (antiquated) hand dryer has been out of service for over a month. Generally, one of the highest footfall KFCs in the county is run on a shoestring budget, purely to maximise profits. The new question I have is; if they’re cutting services, quality & standards this much where I can see them, what are they doing behind closed doors !

Stone cold chips, chicken cold, like the meal had been put in a chiller! Drinks lid not applied correctly so spilt in the car. Chips not even cooked

Went through the drive-thru ordered 2 of boneless banquets with coleslaw and Pepsi Max. 1st handed me the drinks in a cup carrier that was dripping Pepsi from the clear cups. Then the bag with the food. Drinks placed in cup holders in car, fitted a treat. 2nd. Asked for a receipt, didn't get one. Got home to find a puddle of Pepsi in the cup holder. Yes a puddle!! These clear plastic cups leak. They used to be card that also had a straw hole in the top. Not these. 3rd Got home, opened up the boxes and then viewed the very few fries. About 12 in total!! Chicken fillets are great. 4th No forks for the coleslaw, 5th One Pepsi wasn't as brown as the other, watered down. 6th. No salt packets. For a takeaway of a main brand this is terrible. Now looking at the other reviews for this store, they do not deserve business.

We order via Uber eats KFC from Towcester Road in Northampton, it came on time but was stone cold and the order was wrong! Tried to call the store but they didn’t answer , tried contacting Uber eats but they just cut us off our order number was 81741 and is now in the bin as I refuse to re heat chicken as it’s a health risk. Please be aware and don’t order from here

clearly feeling the impact of reduced footfall - first time I've ever visited where the coating was dark brown through overcooking i.e. the chicken had been sat under the lights for too long. We left without eating the chicken just eat the chips.

The food was cold and not nice. The tables and floor were dirty despite very quiet times. If the staff have time to stand around and chat surely they could at least wipe the tables. Also I learned they have changed their meat to be religiously blessed. Will not visit KFC again.

Ordered 18 chicken but 1 chicken was missing. This has happened before. The chicken size is too small !!!

What a con!We decided to treat ourselves to a takeaway.My husband bought a six piece bargain bucket. Two of the six portions were the tiniest wings with absolutely no meat on and were so minute they should’ve gone in the bin or added for free.The other 4 pieces were all bone and very little meat. The food looked lost on the plates!What meat there was, was dry and over cooked. A total waste of £12. I’ve had far better at other KFC restaurants. Neither my husband or I have a big appetite but were both left feeling hungry. This has happened to us before when buying food from here. We won’t be going back in a hurry!

Rude and poor delivery. The delivery guy parked badly in the middle of the road blocking traffic. He then comes banging down my door. I obviously wasn't sitting by my door so couldn't get to him on time. He became annoyed and left the food on the ground outside my door. By the time I got to the door he was already by his car getting in. I said it was unacceptable and he shouted back that he is blocking the way and what's the problem it's in a bag.No apology! I rang for over an hour and no one picked up! Hopefully they'll see this!

We went here as I thought you cant go wrong with a KFC. Well, the toilet was absolutely shocking fluid all over the floor, broken toilet roll holder, horrible smell, dirty walls and this is keeping it short. Then to top it off i was soaked by the tap. Oh well, I’m hungry plod on. The guy behind the till I’m assuming didn’t like to speak as he used a head gesture to signal he was ready, even when ordering he wasn’t really communicating as a normal human. The counter was filthy and we took our food to the filthy table in the filthy corner looking out the filthy window. If this hasn’t sold it for you i have included some pictures. Oh, and all the bins were overflowing so everyones food rubbish was just left on the tables.

I have visited here twice this month. You would think I would have learnt the first time not to go back again. Dirty, grimy tables still covered with food, ignorant staff who barely registered we were waiting. Then they forgot one of our parties drink. When I went back up to ask for it, I was ignored despite it being quiet in there. Then I was told that they didn’t have that flavour so I had to wait about 10 minutes for a different one. The girl moved at a snails pace whilst making it. The second time we nipped in to get my elderly grandmother a takeaway to eat and took it back to her house. We were disgusted with the measly amount of fries. Out out the tiny amount given, only about 12 were edible. Had we not been home, we would have taken it back! Avoid!!

Ate their Friday night, was sick not long after finishing, 45 mins max, it’s the following day & I haven’t eaten a single thing, been sick twice & generally feel awful, ruined my entire weekend.

Love kfc but this one was a let down the chicken was really dry and hard wouldn’t go there again.also missed 2 pieces of my chicken from the mighty meal not impressed.

Lovely staff member named Terri. Very helpful. Helped with us making our choice. However when got the food the chips were cold the chicken was luke warm and some of the extras were missing. It was a take away but not too far away for the food to be that cold. Took Mum for first as she had never experienced a KFC before. Now have to explain it's never normally that bad.

Friendly staff. A bit of a wait for food but cooked fresh and all hot so worth it. Chicken tasty. Clean and tidy seating area which is a credit to them as quite busy.

Was hung up on twice by the staff and on a previous occasion attempted to use the drive through and numerous orders which were placed after our own were ready quicker so were instructed to move out the way. Don't get me wrong I love chicken but if you're hoping to be able to eat it before world war4 would probably recommend somewhere else.

I rarely go here as it’s never been exactly great but today’s visit will definitely be the last. What a joke, having spent ages in the rain with the window down getting drenched whilst in the out dated drive through staring at a battered metal box which I was trying to work out if it was the actual speaker or a salvaged ashtray bin from the sodding old bus station I was only to be told once they bothered to acknowledge I was there that half the order was not available, the food that I did actually get was awful. Chicken was dry and tough, gravy was like jelly and the drinks were pure syrup!

Always the same quality and my favourite. Luckily my Granddaughter likes KF C so I can use her as an excuse to go there.

Visited over the weeked and later found out this place only serves Halal ritually slaughtered chicken. If you don't wish to eat this please avoid.

Called in for a sit in meal with the kids around 7pm on a Friday night in late October. Nearly drove straight out again as they spotted a rat just outside, but we decided to give it a chance anyway. Service was slow, tables were a bit sticky, and when the food was ready it wasn't very good. Chicken was barely cooked, wet and slippery, chips were minute and few in number. Will never go back.

I’ve eaten here and never realised it was Halal chicken until I read on KFC website. The other 3 KFC’s in Northampton are not Halal. There were no signs stating this store sold halal food that was obvious and I feel physically sick I ate chicken which had been slaughtered in a barbaric fashion. They should have a large sign on the door so customers can choose if they wish to continue to eat at this establishment. I certainly will NEVER eat food from there again!

Rats all over out side no pest control boxs. Dirty Windows and doors looked like they have never been cleaned. The floor is disgusting behind the counter as well as customers side I did not eat I was in the que and had to walk out.Will be reporting

Stopped by for a quick lunch with my daughter. The whole place is filthy - windows, tables and floor. Plus there was a really long queue. It's not as if they couldn't have been expecting a lunchtime rush! I would never go back there again.

On Friday lunchtime I joined the queue of about three waiting to order with another 8 or so milling around awaiting their food. The order was taken and I moved back to wait for my food, whilst the eight or so were slowly being served. During this time I was entertained by a member of the staff coming over about every five minutes and wiping the surface of the table I was waiting at and mumbling to her-self. It was very clear that she was only interested in cleaning at table top height as anything above or below didn’t appear to be in her job specification. Obviously whilst this was happening other people had come in and had been served along with one of the eight who had brought back his wrong order. Soon the three school-kids that had come in after me along with another couple were served I realised that something had gone wrong. When I showed the staff my receipt nothing was really said other a shouted order into the kitchen, and when finally served (minus my drink but with extra chips) no explanation given. I don’t profess to know how KFC system works but it does seem that the till generates your receipt and that’s the order that the kitchen and the pickers screen works from, so I am really struggling to understand how an order is missed?I also understand that the people who work there are possibly on about basic wage, and aren’t totally motivated in their work, but I really think an explanation would have been helpful?What do you think KFC?

I have been in other KFC before and they were not too bad, but this time it was too fat, too greasy like the chicken was in oil for years!The chips were meh, but they always are since I am not a big fan, the corn was ok but the chicken was inedible. Next time don't let it fry for hours please

Ordered a 6 piece bucket, 4 legs, one wing and one reasonable other portion. Where do you get such small chicken pieces from? Surely this is chick, not chicken. I believe you have a number of different chick pieces available, so if you order a bucket why don't you get a selection? I said a couple of years ago when I went to a KFC in Banbury I would never set foot in these places again, well thank you Towcester Road you've reminded me why I should stick to my words.

Ordered new burger, fillet stacker first burger delicious but second fillet was dry and like cardboard to eat put me off whole meal, I would of thought as a special it would be spot on

Just ordered 14 pc bargain bucket..... Opened to find 8 legs, no Wings , no breast pieces..... And the legs were dried out, no excuse when there was a queue in the drive thru. Feel cheated with this low standard. Other reviews are right avoid and use one of the other KFC in Northants

Good, quick service, ocassionally the tables require cleaning, especially during busy periods, however food is always hot and well prepared.

My 5 worst KFC experiences have all been in this location over the past 4years. I would rather travel to another town if I could but this is the only halal one around in East Mids. I hate going here as they pretty much always screw up our order. My family dragged me back there today after almost 12months to see if anything had changed but despite the new faces.....same old story! After waiting 15mins I enquired what was taking so long to which they had no reply. It turned out they had lost our order & in the ensuing panic that followed they gave us the wrong burgers. All in all it took a full 30MINS before we were able to start eating what we actually ordered! A weak apology was offered but no mention of any money back/ complimentary offer & the manager tried to avoid us like the plague. The whole 45mins we were inside no staff came to clean any of the vacated tables so it looked filthier by the minute. Staff have clearly not been given adequate customer service training as not a single smile in sight, no please or thank you offered - just malfunctioning stuttering androids. Once again I am left disgusted by the level of service & laziness of their staff. I hope KFC revoke their franchise licence as its damaging their reputation. *Also has does a family restaurant today NOT have any baby changing facilities!??*

Is it only me who get less items to what is been paid. I have complained so many times on my successive visits but it does not seems to make any difference. Am thinking of checking each item on my next order. Seems very odd.

Just been staff is very rude and angry this was one of the worst customer service I've ever seen i suggest no to go there. I will never go there again.

Usual KFC food, good service and clean restaurant. The car park at night is very dark and a little on the eerie side!

Not sure how they managed it but my chicken burger and 3 pcs of chicken turned into two chicken wraps - just like water to wine but not what i wanted

Ordered two different meals here and although I love the gravy from this site, I would really like to have the order that I ask for and not what the store staff fancy to give me! Its happened a few times and the only time they seem to get it right is if we come fairly late at night. I wouldn't mind if they charged me less for the order but by the time we get home and find out its wrong we can't be bothered to go back! I'm always charged for the more expensive meal at the advertised price but they don't give me that they give me something else that is on the meal list but with key parts missing! Grrrr!

Thinking of a quick tea on the way home went through drive filet burger meal my preference , it was like chewing some rubber the chicken didn't fall tenderly seems like it was there a while not nice that's twice now so think it's a miss from now on

This store offers the best KFC gravy out of all the stores in Northampton. Service can be slow at times and generally I use the drive through.

Didn't taste as salty as some other KFCs which was nice. If you ask nicely for breast meat only you will get it, if not speak to the manager and they have to comply.

I found an insect's wing on my popcorn chicken. What was supposed to be a joyous carb loading occasion became a haunting nightmare. Disgusting find and makes me think what state the kitchen must be in....

Stopped here with family after a visit to the cinema. Very quiet only 4 other people in the restaurant. We had to wait for the food which I never mind if being cooked fresh. The food came up hot. The large bottle of Tango in our family feast was warm, server gave us some ice when I asked for a cold bottle. Had to go back to counrer as only given 2 plates for 4 people. On the whole an okay meal.

I sent my meal back and just kept the drink when I realised on the wall was a very small halal certificate, waitress sneered at me and reluctantly refunded me.I then wrote to head office who were no help. 1st time ive been in a kfc and definately the last

Dirty tables - stacked with rubbish due to over flowing bins, dirty floors, long queues, rude staff, slow service, dirty toilets...only reason we stayed was because kids were starving and had been looking forward to a KFC 'treat' all day! Not impressed one bit and will not return

Miserable staff , cold food and the place was not clean , especially the toilets. Will not return if it was the last food outlet in the town .

After waiting in a long queue we were served by a rude, abrupt young woman with major attitude and no manners!! To top this off - dirty tables and overflowing bins! Never again thank you very much!!

This is the worse eating Establishment for cleanliness we have ever eaten in.The tables had not been cleaned.The floor was greasy.Food under each table and around the floor.Fire door held open for fresh air.fly's flying around my table.And staff who collect trays off the table but don,t wipe down the mess.Even one member of staff moved a high chair with food around the floor andjust went back to serving. It not like they were rushed off their feet ,with four other tables occupied.Never ever to return.....

The food was fresh and had a healthy option. Check you have your drink b4 u leave. Next to many other nice restaurants like the harvester and costa and starbucks with good wifi
