Kfc in Coventry

Having spent nearly £30 on two banquet meals and a Krushum, imagine my surprise to find a maggot in the corn on the cob UNDER the plastic wrapping. I was so shocked. I went back to the restaurant, maggot I'm hand. I was greeted by one of the serving staff. She got the mamager for me. Who offered me £1.99 credit for the corn on the cob. I showed him the receipt for £2.49 each. He the appolgied and refunded me £4.98. I was going to leave it at that until the next day I had a random email from the KFC survey team who wanted me to complete an online survey. I thought I might as well be truthful and told them everything. I got an email asking me for proof. I sent them everything I had. A few weeks later I got an apology email from the customer service manager and was offered £15 in a KFC voucher. Two things 1. at the point of writing this review I have still to receive the voucher. 2. I WILL NOT BE VISITING THAT KFC OR ANY OTHER ONE. Even though I would not use the voucher I was going to give it to one of the homeless people I see sitting outside the restaurant. BE WARNED

I visited the KFC near the showcase cinema, the front servery counter was filthy, after waiting a while to get my food of which was sub standard I went to the table where my family were waiting to find that the table was filthy and looking around the restaurant all the other tables were in a similar state. I asked the lady who was serving for a cloth to clean my table and was given 2 paper napkins, I said this wasn’t good enough and she said she couldn’t help it as she was on her own. I pointed out other people in the back ground and she didn’t really say much after that. If the front of house is filthy what sort of state is the kitchen in??

Delivery Food was rubbish , burnt chicken , half the order missing and over an hour late and cold . Avoid KFC it’s lost its way with this franchise

Went to the drive through and bought a bargain bucket of 10 pieces and a bag of 8 hot wings. The chicken in the bucket was nothing like I'd experienced before. The seasoning and breadcrumbs I remembered on the skin were tasteless, unseasoned and not sticking to the meat, so was just falling off. It was poor and very disappointing. It has put us off what we regarded as a real treat to have. The cost was also up since my last visit.

This was a collection we did not stay to eat at the restaurant. KFC recipe & portions in general - Ordered 6 piece bargain bucket - Received 6 very small drumsticks only with Chips covered in what can be described as Pepper….£13.99!!!!

Went to try the new teriyaki burger. Ordered a meal at the self-service machine and chose a capuccino as my drink for 40p extra. When I got to the counter I was informed that they do not serve hot drinks at that branch and was told to pick from the cold drinks. I asked if they had any drinks that were not diet (I don't like diet drinks) and the server had no idea and tried to serve me diet drinks. I eventually chose the only drink that was not diet and asked for a refund of the extra 40p I had paid for the capaccino. This they did not want to do but I kept insisting. Eventually, someone went to get the keys for the till and refunded my 40p. The menu was wrong, the staff were ill-informed about their own products and the burger was only luke warm and mediocre.

Good points: They now have the vegan burgers and mine was decent. Chips were nice and plenty of them. Soap dispensers had soap in. Hot water in the taps. They even got everyone's orders correct! Bad points: Still no hot drinks, they appear to have wiped them off the menu, this is unforgiveable! All fizzy drinks are the diet variety. So forced to have water. No after-meal hand wipes (hate skimping like this) Would have been 3 stars or more if tea or coffee had been an option; it is not a proper meal if you can't have your favourite drink alongside.

No vegan burgers so had to have meat based (not the end of the world for me but it should be available) No coffee of any variety (found out after i ordered) so forced to have soft drink (only diet varieties available) Wrap i had was awful dry and missing half the filling (i had exactly the same item from the kfc in town the other week and it was great) No sauces supplied Discovered they got my friend's order wrong (it has taken so long he cba to go back and change it) No hand wipes No soap in the toilet It seems they are trying to skimp on everything to make as much money as possible. Might explain why the place was 3/4 empty! And why (according to Tripadvisor) it is currently the WORST restaurant in Coventry. Why did i let myself be dragged there?! As other people on here have said.... never again!!

Tried to place order at drive thru but the intercom was muffled and the operator gabbled and did not speak recognisable English. Paid £30 for boneless bucket and pop corn meal. Order came with no sides, no dips', gravyx2 and a Coke. Despite asking her to repeat and explain we were not able to understand what she was saying. Order also arrived with no manners and precious little civility. Have not used the drive thru before and were looking for help to explain the menu. I don't think we will be using KFC again

it took too long to perpare the food, also the chips are over cooked, i can only see they offer average food.

How the f**k can you burn beans!!! Dry over cooked chicken & inedible wrap poor chicken 🐓 didn’t deserve to die for that. Undercooked chips.

Can’t understand you when you order and manger there told a person you want pro seed in a new job bec he had learning difficulties I think they need a new manger there as it going to the dogs

Ordered food and they just lied and said it was on its way, never showed up! Restaurant was then closed, I really don’t understand the need to lie! It’s just a joke. Just tell me straight that you are running behind. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I ordered a Fillet Tower Burger from here and the bun was rock hard, stale and even had mould in it! When I tried to call them to complain, they would not answer the phone, so I've reported it to the KFC Care Team and the Food Standards Agency. This KFC needs to be shut down if they think it's okay to serve people mouldy, stale, gone-off food. Disgraceful! Avoid at all costs if you don't want food poisoning (or worse!)

Extremely concerning store condition with filthy floors covered in mud and wet patches. Staff didn't seem concerned and very poor in general, didn't look like they knew what was going on. On two occasions I notice chicken dropped on to the counter and placed back into a customers bucket they were preparing. I will not be returning/recommending anyone visit this KFC branch!!

Just been to KFC in tile hill , that place is the absolute pits , partner just been in to get food to takeaway asked for a fillet tower burger meal and a bacon and cheese fillet meal . What we actually got was a freezing cold zinger meal that looked like it had been sat there all day and was now screaming for help - I kid you not ... his meal was cold , my meal was not what was asked for and cold and rubber , so what we have actually done is throw best part of £12 quid in the bin - thanks KFC - couldn't be bothered going back place was packed and wouldn't waste petrol - I will think with my feet and won't be going back they can keep it - whoever runs these franchises needs to get in there and give them a good kick up the backside ( not what i wanted to write but trip advisor do not accept profanitys apparently) Disgusting 🤢

Ordered take out bargain bucket - chips cold and soggy chicken very greasy and left an odd taste in mouth majority ended up in the bin!

Staff not having a clue, and it seems they find it hard to understand English. The food served luke warm, chicken zinger with gristle in it. Worst experience of any KFC i have visited. I would visit any other KFC for better staff service and food, but avoid this one at all costs

Staff awful & always get the simplest of orders wrong, Manners are free, especially the drive thru staff

Food was fresh and service was good. Need to keep on top of housekeeping and keep tables and floor clean. Big downside is the location, it’s a nightmare to access due to the road layout.

We thought we would pop in as we wanted something quick and tasty. What struck us first was the staff team - they didn't appear to be very helpful and certainly not friendly. The KFC coating was soggy and bland, the chicken had clearly been waiting around for some time. But the restaurant itself was clean enough - apart from the tables, every single one could have done with a good wipe down.

this kfc is absolutely awful.we ordered a boneless banquet and were given 3 pieces of original recipe chicken and fries.we went in and explained and they replaced it with the same thing but it was large fries.it clearly stated on the receipt what we ha ordered.the staff were also very rude.i ended up having no dinner that night.

Staff rude Food as expected Staff mainly foreign which isn't an issue apart from language barrier. Food is as expected from kfc

Visitamos con mi familia pero un cliente anterior tenía vomito todo el piso y mesa (no preguntar). Personal necesario impulsando varias veces para limpiar este como era repugnante. Realmente debería haber usado su iniciativa y actuó de inmediato. Comida típica de feria, pero debería haber KFC irme a otro lado como vista que nos recibió cuando llegamos allí nos impedirá nuestra comida.

Well service was ok and nice to get chicken that's properly cooked so I have no complaints , had to go cus got stuffed by work so it was better than maccys

The service was super slow and the place was dirty, had rubbish everywhere, bins were over flowing and just generally disgusting.

Went to my local kfc 50 minutes before it closed asked for 3 different items they didn't have any. All they could offer were chicken pieces asked for a fillet burger and they refused to cook one fresh. Absolutely diabolical that they cannot offer the...

KFC every time I go to this restaurant when I get home there's always something missing, didn't think much to it at first but when my girlfriend and her mum said it happens all the time it makes you think are they doing this to a lot of customers good way of making extra revenue , Morrell of this story always count your chicken at KFC.

We went to this newly refurbished restaurant last night. Big mistake, queued for twenty five minutes with four people in front. Rubbish bins overflowing,all tables had rubbish on them and on floor too.Food when we eventually got it was cold rubbery chicken with batter hanging limply off, chips stone cold and hard.Disgusting, bad stomachs this morning. Almost every time I go through the drive-thru I get conned be it a side missing, short changed, wrong drink, wrong size drink (advertising 600ml bottle but give 500ml after of course they have given me post mix first). Buck up your ideas kfc your turning me and others away!!

Have been a very longstanding KFC customer, but i'm sure the taste of the chicken pieces which was once legendary is losing some appeal. Its hard to put my finger on it, but it just does not seem to taste as finger licking good as before, also despite asking for BBQ sauce, young assistant forgot which was upsetting when we opened the box later. Still good, but just not great anymore.
