Kfc in Watford

The food was fresh and I loved the service it was pretty quick. The manager of the store was very kind.

Had a uber eats order go completely wrong and the manager was really helpful and sorted it all out for me!

Food was very nice and the service was very fast. I have visited this restaurant lots of times and never got unsatisfied.

There were only a couple of people in the store, but every single surface plus most of the floor was a mess with food crumbs, discarded wrappers and spilt drink/sauce. The food was underwhelming, and the pepsi was flat. I can't believe a brand as high profile as KFC can operate in such a slovenly fashion. Won't be going back unfortunately.

'Cold' drinks were warm and chips were nearly cold. Tables dirty. The main toilets closed and the only 1 cubicle one that was opened had no loo roll and no way to dry your hands. A real grubby feel to this establishment and certainly won't be returning.

Awful service, been waiting at the front of the line for 15minutes and still have not ordered. Highly under staffed. Waiting for food takes 20min it’s just for 4 chicken selects. Whilst waiting for 15minutes then they tell us the system is down and we can’t order.

The order was accepted at 10pm it’s now 11.30pm 5 drivers have been to collect the order but have left as the order is still not ready!! How is this possible it’s 2 burgers and some popcorn chicken. The order said it would be 20-35mins max. The restaurant is a joke and they purposely hang up the phone when you try to call. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE AVOID!!!!!

Slowest fast food joint I’ve ever been in. I don’t frequent them that often. Loads of people waiting and all the deliveroo bikers being served first. Shouldn’t the people who are in the establishment get served first. The food leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve got served what was supposed to have been a fillet burger meal. The chicken piece inside leaves a lot to be desired.

Mid afternoon already on last chicken breast so had to have a leg too. Overcooked and soggy skin . Not sure how to describe clod limo chips - but hope that’s enough detail

Arrived in the morning, was told they were already sold out at 10am, they obviously aren't stocking enough because they can't be bothered with the hassle, I left.

I would never buy food from KFC again. the chicken was full of oil and it is not crispy at all. just skin comes off and chicken has no flavor at all. again Chips is soggy and oily. simply disgusting.

Appalling hygiene. Anti bac machine dry and pushed out of sight and no hand wash in either dispenser in the men’s toilet. Tables dirty and floor greasy. Given the current climate, appalling standards.

Bought Zinger Burger which had half cooked chicken in it .It was a takeaway realised it after reaching home so couldnt do much . Ordered 6 chicken wings and received only 5.Was upsetting for kids .Horrible experience

Went in after a 15.5 hr shift Was no sanitiser, couldn’t use the screen to order an was told in worst manner not to use it, finally got served then the member of staff was doing other errands during me placing my order and asked me numerous times what I wanted then walked off to do something else ..... cancelled order and went to sams chicken down the road which customer service was faultless

Got the family a takeaway it was 30 minutes late then when arrived stone cold one can of drinking missing the chips were rank I’m disgusted no way was it worth £33 for what we got very poor I’ve been in a que for 45 minutes just to write a written complaint to just eat then got to sort a refund it’s a joke definitely never again .

Paid for the popcorn chicken bucket with two large sides. Got back to where I was staying and no gravy. HOW DO YOU FORGET THE GRAVY!!! Not happy

Service was good and the lady on the till was friendly... unfortunately that was the only positive thing. The food took forever to come out and when it did it was cold. Lots of people were waiting. Definitely think they were short staffed. I don't go to KFC often but I won't be going back any time soon.

Visited 10.30 at night wish we hadnt. Very poor service very grotty and cold fies. We won't be going again any time soon

Not as good as it used to be. Runs out of a lot of burgers for meals and asks you to change the order quite alot

We decided to have KFC and chose to order on line and asked for it to be delivered. We got a message the order would be with us in 40 to 50 minutes, delivered by Deliveroo. The money was deducted from my bank account with alacrity.After an hour and 20 minutes some food arrived. It was a long way from being hot,and part of the order was missing.Then the concept of customer service disappeared. Deliveroo denied any responsibility, their position was that they just delivered what KFC gave them. KFC were indifferent to the issue, but after a further 20 minutes agreed to give a refund for the missing food. The refund could take up to 72 hours to process.So our order was late, the food at best warm and barely edible, the order incomplete and the refund (which isn’t as much the tip we gave) will take an unreasonable time to get to me.I was reduced to walking to McDonalds to get some of the missing items - their service was brilliant.This dealing with KFC and Deliveroo was far from being a satisfactory experience, and is definitely one I will not repeat. Ever.

I turned up at exactly 10pm after a 60 mile journey to find that they had no sides, no drinks (just bottled) and no krushems and then be told they had no balms. So I had to go to mcdonalds which I hate but had everything I ordered.

No one seems to know what they doing, order is often wrong and I can’t even describe how slow the whole service is. Very disappointed

Turned up about 7.30 8.00 in the evening. Ordered a bargain bucket. Waited 15-20 minutes then got told i'd have to take a refund as they had no chicken. KENTUCKY FRIED F'ING CHICKEN!

Flying visit late at night so no queues and easy in and out service. Always find parking difficult no matter what day or time to get to this KFC ... perhaps a drive though might help?? Food was fresh and therefore thoroughly enjoyed

Ordered a 10 piece family size bucket and everything we ordered was freshly cooked, no lingering smell of oil. Yes we had to wait a while but the wait was worth it! Staff were exceptionally helpful And friendly.

We ordered through Deliveroo and had no dipping sauces in the advertised “ dipping boneless meal” - ridiculous !!!!!

The chips being marketed as crispier and chunkier, is enough to indoctrinate customers into coming in and purchasing box meal after box meal. however, these so called crispy chunky chips were not anything of the sort. they were soggy and therefore mushy, leaving me no option but to poor my gravy on them and eat them with a fork. this was most annoying. In addition to this, I asked the member of staff to make sure that my piece of original recipe chicken when i ordered my so called 'mega' box (this did not live up to expectation. he said that this would be okay but when i opened the box, i had received two measly 'hot' wings and a drumstick. when i asked them to change it, he said that this isn't allowed (Company policy)

One staff member taking orders AND serving! Really? Minimal seating and long waits - not very “fast food”!

Ordered 2 meals through deliveroo with cokes that you have to pay extra for with the whole sugar tax for my food to be delivered with 2 fruit shoots as they were the only drinks they had.....I doubt that very much as I guess they would of had bottles not just cans and could have given a bottle of coke instead of fruit shoots or if not j should have been told when I made my order that they had no fizzy drinks left....while I'm ranting just to throw in they NEVER have the white chocolate milkshakes. Oh and I have tried to contact them but no one answers guess there busy with all the complaints.

Ordered 16 hot wings at around 6:45pm on 5th Nov 2018. When I came home the wings were very dry, dark and tasteless. I am sure I was served those wings that were cooked hours before and were not sold.The wings were of room temperature although I live just minutes away from kfc.KFC Watford managed to keep their loss down at my expense by serving old wings and not fresh, unfortunately it was all my loss. Thank you KFC .

An average KFC - food OK, staff friendly, usual pricing but always a big queue and nowhere to park legally. End up leaving it on yellow lines while you go it......

This place is always packed with a long queue.Slow service.Things always forgotten in meal packages.The service is so slow since they have done the refurbishment.Seating area is not used too much as it regularly shut off by staff.Food is ok but fries are usually lukewarm.

Long queues only one person serving on the tills the chips were cold not very fresh the chicken burger buns were falling apart stale a lot of core in the lettuce but having said all that the young lad serving did his best trying to

The quality of the service is shocking. Only one staff attending to everyone. Spent over 30 mins waiting to be served. Please get more staff or shut it down asap.

Sólo lo he usado esta tarde en la noche. Pero el 99% del tiempo es realmente mala calidad. Bueno que se almacena en la parte trasera, precocida hace mucho tiempo, duro y seco, y apenas tibia. Fritos y frijoles crudos, casi oculto y un color extraño. No sé lo que es como cualquier otro momento del día, así que no puedo comentar sobre eso. Pero en mi experiencia personal, que definitivamente no lo recomiendo.

Got served quite quick server was polite restaurant was clean food was nice & hot we sat in and ate nice decor now it's been refurbished

Average kfc, not bad now it's just been renovated, looks much better than before. Food was ok, what you'd expect, couldn't complain. Not great parking near by, so not an ideal location if are driving there.

Recently renovated, bright decor, clean to varying degrees dependent on time, open late night so good stop on the way home once pubs & clubs kick out.

Standard KFC which for some reason tends to be very popular in N Watford Often queues for food which staff find difficult to cope with National KFC pricing DIFFICULT PARKING !! Kids love it and never had bad food from here

I visited KFC in St Albans Road yesterday and I'm glad I did. The staff were polite and my Big Mac was served super quick, super hot and super nice. I'll be visiting them again soon. Keep up the burgertastic work guys!

Well KFC is one of the iconic fast food chains across the globe and this one is no different than others.

I couldn't believe how busy it was they were queuing out the door, having said that the serving method was very efficient, and the que went down very quickly.The chicken was exactly as I expected and the BBQ sauce chicken was very nice.

Went to KFC for what we thought would be to pick up a quick takeaway, well how very wrong we were! It was absolute chaos inside, granted it was a busy Saturday night but not any of the staff had a clue what they were doing, numerous orders were incorrect and the waiting time was very long. I will try this place again once it has bedded in and the staff are up to speed with the new setup. The food on the other hand was good and up to the usual KFC standard.

You should know what you're getting with a KFC, right? Well, not in the case of the Watford branch.It's recently undergone a refit that has turned it into an Argos! You order at one till (the others were not open) and then given an order number so that, just in case you didn't have enough fun the first time, you can queue again. You then get a second and equally uninterested person casually throw your order on the counter.We had 2 tower meals to take-away and when we got home it was evident that the staff there really don't enjoy their jobs. Now, I know that this is not gourmet dining, but when all they have to do is make something the same as the picture they have in front of them it should be pretty standard. How you can manage to totally miss the buns with the mayonnaise and soak the boxes with it I have no clue. Perhaps they were shooting long-range. The same appeared to have happened with the lettuce and the hash brown was on the chicken like a hat at a jaunty angle. The fries were stone cold and under cooked. The Pepsi tasted like near-neat syrup without a hint of fizz.How on earth the owner is allowed to keep this franchise I have no idea. It was a total shambles before the refit, and has been for some years, and is no better now. Perhaps it's time to either get a new owner or for KFC to open another branch nearby. Don't get me wrong, it's not like KFC would be a regular choice in our house, but you would hope that on the odd occasion you do want one that you might get what was advertised.

This branch is always very very busy but nearest branch is in Harrow. Always have to wait to be served but always go during dinner times. Always good food and friendly staff

You can't go wrong with kfcThis one is very small they should make it bigger! So people don't have to wait in line that goes outside which is annoying!!! Great food quality, fast service! Some friendly and polite staff

I'm a fan of KFC, no matter where I go, if there's a KFC then I'll be visiting it!!The Watford KFC on St Albans Road is no different than the others in other towns, and the chicken is always first class, I can honestly say that I have never had any chicken from a KFC that has been under cooked.My favourite meal has always been a two or three piece Variety meal with a couple of extra hot wings.However the last time I popped into KFC there was no longer a variety meal...what to do??!!So I had to have three pieces of chicken in a meal deal and with a couple of extra hot wings, not much of a difference!!The only bad thing I would say about the Watford KFC (For believe it or not there is only one KFC in Watford) is that it needs to be bigger, there isn't a lot of table room.There are only about four or five tables so if you're hoping to sit down and eat your KFC then you may have to pop over the road to the bench outside the church and share your meal with the local wino's!!

Had to give this place 1 star as it will not allow me to give it none!! My kids will not eat drumsticks, so I politely asked the server if he would give me any other pieces of chicken in my 10 piece bargain bucket, this is always met with bad looks but on this occasion he put 5 drumsticks in the bucket on purpose and lied directly to my face and told me he hadn't put in any (disgusting behaviour) when I got home after a long days work and my kids saw the drumsticks they would not eat any of it so I threw the lot away!!! All they had to do if it was such a problem was say that they could not do my request instead of taking my hard earned money, I shall never go back to kfc....they are disgusting dirty staff in Watford and as I used to go at least once a week and spend a minimum on £25 they have saved me over a £1000 pounds a year, their loss!! only go there if you want to eat stale, cold, greasy chicken and don't get what you asked for served by rude, dirty staff!!!

It's a lovely place to get a meal. Not my favourite chicken and chip shop but it is nice. Personally I like it, go see for yourself.

Went there a while ago and was the worst KFC I have ever had! I had to actually return the food as the chips were brown, skin so greasy it was falling off the chicken and squelched in my hand. I love KFC but I will never return to the Watford branch :(

I suddenly felt like a KFC, and as I had not had one for ages I popped into this one to give it a go.Awful, chips cold and soggy, chicken no flavour, the meat or the legendary coating.Will never go back again.

Service was fine. They are open till late. Food as any junk food, it was cooked fine, you know what to expect.

We went while visiting the Harry Potter studios, ideal location as only 10 min walk from station (our second time going to this one). It's small so tables very very limited, about 3 in total (only 1 as a 6 seat). It has two doors to get in and if you sit on the 6 seater table the door doesn't close so you can get very cold! The floor was all horrible, bins full, tables dirty and chairs. For a good 20 minutes we were in, the staff did absolutely nothing!! We had to clean our own tables and chairs! Not a single bin got emptied and I dread to think what the toilets were like. I think staff need to be trained again.

If you like KFC then you will like this one, only trouble is its too small and always busy, but thats a sign of a good KFC.
