KFC in Reading

Debería haber escuchado las críticas, la bolsa apestaba a POLLO CRUDO. Me hizo sentir mal. festival de lectura de trabajo, llegó después de un turno de 8 horas solo tratando de conseguir algo de comida, Parecía que la comida había sido preparada por alguien con pezuñas, simplemente aplastada, claramente por la reacción de los servidores a que la sacara hay alguien atrás que es una molestia y necesita el saco, me preguntaron si quería otra, dije absolutamente no, y me fui.

Terrible. Food had been bagged up and sat under the heater, tasted and looked like it had been there for a few hours. Ordered a large fries, was given two small bags instead (!) probably for convenience of serving quick (wasn’t even busy) and a small portion consisted of a small handful of chips! Ordered a wrap which was half the size of a normal kfc wrap, hardly any salad and looked really sorry for itself, served in a bag not cardboard wrap box. Soft drinks were already pre-poured, were luke warm sat on the counter ready to be handed out. Order was ready for collection instantly after ordering which set off alarm bells! All in all, this restaurant didnt feel like it was being run as a legit KFC. Can only assume the staff had the restaurant set up to try and make some money in their own pockets by serving smaller portions and pre-served food to save time (it wasn’t busy at all!). Toilets not open either. Avoid.

Awful, the food consistently makes me ill when I visit this restaurant. I wait 12 months, forget and the cycle repeats. Never have this issue with any other restaurant something seriously off is going on here. On Google reviews multiple persons finding maggots and eggs in food.

Looked how it tasted - No flavour, under cooked absolutely disgusting Will never use again Go somewhere else

Terrible visit to kfc, the food was nice apart from that only reason it gets 2 stars , the floor was filthy even my 9 year old commented on it, staff didn't seem to know what they were doing , my wife went up to order more chips and the girl didn't even understand what she was saying so she had to say chips again. With our meal we didn't revieve a bottle of drink so I went back up to ask , was given a warm one off the side so I asked if could have one from the fridge , when yhe girl gave me one from the fridge it was warmer than the one that had been on the side , the restaurant was not even that busy, god knows what it's like on a match day

I visited this KFc today. They refused to honour my NHS discount , the customer service I received was beyond shocking. Trying to call KFc head office they make it hard to complain. Visit at your own peril.

So we have been doing slimming world for the last 2 months and fancied a treat so decided to order KFC. Driver got lost so had to call him and guide him to our address. Got food indoors and guess what....? COLD! And food missing from our order! No hot wings in the bucket meal and no hot wings as an extra order! Place food on a plate and microwave to reheat and upon eating my food I find a piece of plastic in my chicken!! See photos! Really not impressed! Uber eats have refunded for the missing wings but to find plastic in my chicken is horrendous! Really disappointed! Should've just had chicken, rice and veg.. tried calling the branch a number of times but no answer!

My son really wanted to go to KFC so we decided to give this one a try as it’s been 5 yrs since our last visit. We hoped that it was under new management or had cleaned up its act especially with Covid. Walked in, no hand sanitizer in the machine, not a great start when you have to use the self serve screen to order. Ran back to car for own sanitizer and ordered food. Place looked ok until we went to sit down and realised half the tables were filthy and food left on the floor. The place was quiet so no excuse for staff not to be cleaning especially when hygiene is even more important at the moment. Food was served up and handed to us with no words at all from the staff, asked where drinks were and got given a filthy look from the staff member who gave us the food. They could have said that someone else was getting it. Instead we were left to stand there for a minute until someone else gave us the drinks (not very cold drinks). No napkins or condiments offered, no napkins in the holder, so I went back to the till and asked for napkins, got ignored by two staff members that looked at me as if I was speaking another language, then finally I got given some napkins by the third person who caught my eye. Chicken was dry, bread was stale, and drinks like warm so we left without finishing our food.

Very very bad service. I was offered side because they did not had mash, which I had paid . I spent 17.91 all together and I was felt cheap like I was asking for two wings when she told me to choose side order. She got angry because I choose two wings, which is side but she wanted to give me either baked beans or corn. I come to KFC to eat chicken not beans or corn. Here are list of things, which she did 1. she treated her staff unprofessionally in front of customers 2. didn’t even apologise to me for not fulfilling my order, which I have paid already 3. Paid from card due to COVID-19 protocols but was given change in pences from 2,3 hands because she handed to her staff and gave it to me 4. Told me to choose other side . when I said wing she told me to choose either beans or corn as a side. But not wings which is their side menu 5. Didn’t wanted to refund me straight away when they didn’t had what I paid and even told me to wait 10 mins “ why should I wait extra 10 mins?” 6. All these was passed through her staff being a team leader she should led with an example and dealt with me professionally, not third person 7. Lastly, she sent that same staff to get receipt from me from my car without jacket on winter. This is the reason why I am complaining because of not the wings but her treating staffs and customer. I was planning not to take refund in coins like around 10 coins altogether in pences, pound, 20p etc. But kept quiet because of that poor lady, I felt she was not happy with the treatment to both of us from her superior and sending her out in cold outside without jacket in winter to get the refund receipt.

I ordered my food a nightly bucket for one at 8:13 it took 20 mins for my number to show up on the screen and another 20 mins for my food to be ready. Shocking, I’ve not wasted an extra hour on my already long journey home due to extremely slow service.

Really pleasant KFC, nice and quiet when I was there with ample seating. Great burger and the new style chips are really nice. Why all the haters on here? Its KFC and its awesome!

Ordered through deliveroo, KFC sent wrong order correct receipt. My son called them to complain, sent correct order eventually. Took hour and 30 mins to get food. Son called them to complain as kfc were at fault, manager hung up the phone, i called then got given two different names. No return call from them to apologise, then contacted their customer service team. What a mistake that was, they could not find original complaint then took 2 months to reply with a £5 voucher. Useless service from store and even worse from their KFC "Care..less Team"

We used to love KFC but the last few we have had have been pretty poor. We decided to have a takeaway tonight but it was pretty poor and has left me feeling queasy. Chips are horrid Now, greasy fatty chicken and the hot wings wernt great either. Will be our last visit there now as has had its last chance.

Went to kfc today 19/03/19 food very below average. Had a horrid after taste. Will never use them again.

Server gave me 2 bits of chicken instead of 4, luckily my girlfriend noticed as we were leaving! Chips were old and lukewarm, chicken had hardly any meat and got a mouth full of bone every bite!!!

No como cualquier otro KFC. Esto es lo peor. El gerente de esta sucursal junto con el personal necesita capacitación o nuevas carreras. Chicken was very dry and over cooked, or had been left in the warmer for hours. Couldn't taste any of the usual herbs & spices. Fries were soggy and luke warm. The only things that was up to standard was the corn on the cob and the gravy. It's a shame as this branch of KFC has been good over the last year or so. Looks like they are slipping back into there old ways. If my family and I hadn't been so hungry it would have gone in the bin.

No he visto las malas críticas hasta ahora, pero parece que los clientes están unidos en esta instalación mal administrada. KFC tiene un estándar alto, así que fue decepcionante cuando vinimos aquí.Estábamos de compras cerca, pero a la reflexión deberíamos habernos quedado con nuestro local.Llegamos a la comida tardó años en ser atendidos por el personal de Young y giggerling, tuvimos que explicar nuestro pedido 3 veces, no soy extranjero, soy británico pero no uso para el idioma adolescente. Mientras esperaba, un joven servidor echó una gran coca sobre el mostrador porque no estaba mirando lo que estaba haciendo. Todos pensaron que era muy divertido y nadie tenía prisa por recogerlo o limpiarlo, ya que golpeó el piso y todos obtuvimos nuestro zapatos y calcetines mojados.Finalmente, nos llamaron para anunciar que el pedido estaba equivocado, volví a dar mi pedido y después de que quedara una edad para el auto. En el coche encontramos las papas fritas y poco cocinadas, las hamburguesas estaban bien, pero descuidadas y nuestras bebidas mal, no teníamos nuestros helados que me dijeron que estaba en la bolsa. En primer lugar, esto no se trata de Oxford Road, pero no pude encontrar la unidad enumerada aquí. Pasamos por el auto para cenar, el 27 de diciembre (día normal de trabajo) cuando llegamos a la ventana, pedimos una comida y luego nos dijeron que no tenían Krushums. Así que pedí una botella de agua, o zumo de naranja, para luego decirles que no tenían agua, pero en realidad no refrescos no sin gas. Con eso, decidimos agregar Diet Pepsi a esa comida callejera. Luego procedí a pedir mi comida de burrito de Zinger, para que me dijeran que no tenían tortillas. . . en este punto, le preguntamos al asistente qué tenía, a lo que le dimos una mirada silenciosa. Luego decidimos irnos y comer en Macdonalds a unos metros de distancia.

Estoy harto de la cantidad de veces que llegué a la ventana y me apresuraron a acudir a la ventana de la ventana para ordenar lo más rápido posible porque están ocupados y el único menú es paralelo a la ventana que pides. He tenido Los autos me llaman por detrás para que me apure. Si el menú estaba al inicio de la unidad Thru o en el camino, todo estaría listo para cuando llegue a la ventana. . . como cualquier otra unidad en el mundo (falla de diseño masivo)Ok, he estado aquí varias veces, este lugar siempre perderá algo de tu orden si pasas por la unidad y quiero decir siempre. Hasta el punto, me pregunto si el personal está estafando de alguna manera. como soso no puedes hacer que un grupo de gente sea estúpido y olvidadizo.

qué inmersión absoluta, si todas las otras críticas terribles no te desilusionaron, déjame agregar mi espera a esa discusión.

Nos encanta Kfc, pero este era el peor de todos. Esperamos más de 20 minutos, no tienen la mitad de la comida que pedimos. Coca Cola carecía de fizz. Café al borde de ser un café helado. Maíz en mazorcas duro, pollo malos porciones.

Fui a la sucursal de Oxford Road de KFC y comprar un cubo de fiesta, a un costo de £24. 99.

Metimos en para un aperitivo y una bebida muy sabrosa. La zona estaba limpia y ordenada, con un personal amable que trajo la comida a la mesa, ya que mi esposa no es muy móvil. Después de la cena pudimos sentarnos y charla sin ninguna prisa. Visitado por todos los grupos de edad, un cómodo lugar para comer. Sigan con el buen trabajo.

Bloody disgusting! There was a mouse running around the floor under the tables and it came out from the kitchen!!! Never going back to KFC again.

Eat here today with the family as we were shopping late every table had food stains or visible puddles of grease on them,after walking past at least 6 tables we thought we found a clean one. We went to sit down and we spotted a cup under the table against the window that had spilled out and dryer sticky. It must of been there all day. Had to ask staff to clean a table.. The Staff member rolled her eyes at me. I only ever used this place before using the drive thru but after seeing how dirty it is inside I won't be back. As well the drive thru menu if at the window you order from. Why not have the menu at the start of the drive thru so you can read it before you get to the window like McDonald's do. Not that it matter now not going back until they get same new staff and a cleaner

As I cannot drink sugary drinks, wherever I go (and have had no trouble in the past) I substitute the drink on a colonels meal for coleslaw or beans. First trip to this establishment, and was served by an oriental lady. Asked for my request, she said bluntly no. Adamant if I didn't want the drink, then just go without. No way did not buy anything, urge others to do the same.

The staff who served to me is very good. She knew what her doing and the cleaner in kfc she always smile...

Food in line with other KFC outlets. Staff not always that frinedly or efficient but do their job. Can be difficult to understand them on occasions. Although they give you an order number they do not use this when calling out your order and you have to check you have the right meal.

Reasonable prices for good food. Usually very busy and takes a while to get served but, worth the wait. The chicken is moist and not dried out. The fries and sides are sufficient for my tastes. Eat in here regularly.

This place is absoulty disgusting it even stinks from outside it's that bad. Once was more than enough to know I won't ever be going back!

We popped in for a quick bite after shopping nearby. The service was slow, and not very friendly. I complained that my drink was warm so the girl went to add more ice to it! I stopped her and asked for a fresh cold drinks not one that had been sat around. The food was luke warm. The restaurant didn't have many tables that weren't covered in left over food and rubbish. The floor had food and rubbish on it and the place was swarming with flys. We obviously decided not to eat in but after walking through the restaurant and seeing the filth we decided to throw our food away and not risk getting sick from it.

Kycklingen på KFC brukar vara saftig och välsmakande. Tyvärr inte här. Hinken jag köpte innehöll välsmakande hot wings men original recepie-kycklingen lämnade mycket att önska. Den var torr och tråkig.

There's no option to rate a big fat zero that's what I would give! The girl wasn't even listening to my order she would finish Let me tell my order & she got it wrong! Retraining is a must for some staff it's really annoying when you're telling them what you'd like but they're telling you something different, honestly it's not that difficult! I think the server's name was yuna she looks Nepalese! I will Make sure next time am not served by her she's clueless. .she should be clearing & cleaning tables not taking orders!

What a shock. This is our regular kfc. Orders always wrong. Never give any condiments even when you ask. Should have gone to mc Donald's. Sort your staff out. No rating for this store whatsoever.

Not really suitable to eat in ...not disable friendly you tend to be in the way but food was good ...staff just go though motion of robot serving ....no hi or can l help you ....

Gross, slimy poor quality chicken overly covered in thick burnt batter. Ask for mainly drumsticks in a bucket and you end up with all thighs so staff are either stupid or don't give a toss.

Visited drive thru today to order some food and noticed an horrendous smell! Which has been like this for about 6 weeks!! This smell has put me off my food!! Very off putting!!

We’ll sometimes stop en-route on motorways for a KFC if we’re expecting to get home late and quality at these is usually bearable.Our experience yesterday evening at this eatery was less than average.Chips were a mixture of hot and cold, it varied between our two portions, mine was part hot part cold, my partners were all cold, that’s poor to say the least, the very minimum we’d have expected from a chips and chicken joint of any description anywhere in the world of even the poorest standard would be hot chips.My chicken fillet burger thing was all but cold too.Oh and while I’m having a moan why do the staff of KFI interrupt me every time I’m in mid-flow of ordering to ask do I also want a drink, e.g. last night…Me: “Can I have a chicken burger, fries and...”Server: “Would you like a drink with that?”Me: “… yes, and a Fanta please”I just don’t get it!Won’t be rushing back here to eat.

Took my son here and noticed it has been renovated since our last visit, it looks nice and was very clean. We ate in but the queue for the drive thru was massive so I was expecting a wait. I was served quickly but had to wait a couple of minutes for the chicken to be cooked but I was offered a free drink whilst I waited. Great service, happy staff and the food was pipping hot. I did notice a few people saying their orders were wrong but the staff apologised and put the order right. If I did use the drive thru I would double check my order.

Terrible service order kid's burger got home to find she's got chicken popcorn had a disappointed child ... its not that hard more training needed..

Quite often use the drive thru and occasionally eat in. They have got my order wrong a couple times using the drive thru. Which is quite frustrating when you don't realise until you get home. However after ringing them I have always received very very good recompense on my next visit.

Took my kids here to tea, very clean, service quick and professional, food great value! When requested sauces a selection were offered in sachets, plenty of napkins, wipes, straws etc available. Toilet immaculate, which can't always be said about fast food restaurants.
