KFC in Peterborough

Thought I would try again after a few month's why did I the food was awfull chicken was not nice the coating was just as bad they should shut up shop

We ordered through Uber eats for our entire family and we’re missing all of the fries and sides. We contacted the store to ask what could be done and was told; not our problem. Whilst I under stand I can take it up with Uber eats. That didn’t get the rest of the meal on the table for the kids, nor was it Uber eats’ fault. It was KFC who had failed to pack the correct food. Not to mention how rude the staff member was and when I asked for his name he hung up on me And apparently this was a large mash…..

Went through Eye drive through and got home and half of it missing,no popcorn chicken or dips. Chips were like soggy mash at bottom of bag.Phoned up to complain and was told they didnt believe me!Complete clowns try Hampton or town centre one.

Chicken was still alive. I will never buy again. You let me down. No more kfc from now on for me and my family

Ordered via drive thru, called back to window to wait for approval. All approved, next window told to pay again, asked for proof payment hadn’t been taken and was given a receipt which said the opposite. Refused to put again, sat for 10 minutes whilst the manager called us a theif, to have cold food thrown at us. Once I could get phone signal checked Apple Pay and bank app and could see proof of approved payment on both apps. Food completely cold and rock solid so returned to have it changed, accused again in front of a restaurant full of customers of being a theif, told that they are 150% sure my payment wasn’t taken. So wouldn’t change food. Now £15 out of pocket as payment has been taken! AVOID!! Staff seem to be running a scam to get multiple payments!!

One of worst KFC anywhere, ordered for a takeaway so many time but it just keeps getting worse. Always burned and dry, all the time. Dry as well.

Ordered a takeaway. Delivered on time. The 6 piece chicken bucket, was a 6 piece rocks of hard, overcooked, dry inedible chicken. My partners double zinger burger was good. I was left hungry and hugely disappointed

Ordered late Sunday evening on deliveroo waited a while for our order and when it came they missed off our order of Gravy and no dips!! This is the second time that i have ordered from here and I have had missing items. On this occasion I called the store and the staff member I spoke to couldn't care less, poor customer service. Lost my custom.

Had to wait over 40 minutes in the drive-through que to get served, I gave up in the end! (With about 7 cars behind me!) It was obvious they are concentrating on companies like “Just eat” i witnessed lots of these delivery people getting their orders ready and taken out first before attending to drive through OR walk in customers. AVOID this KFC you’ll be very disappointed!

I'm surprised how good the food is at KFC London Road I really am, I'll be honest and say that I don't go to other KFC's, I'm not that mad for it. After not using KFC for years I tried London Road and it's been spot on. I've ben there a fair few times in this last year, I hold my hands up. Again last night, the chicken was tender and really well cooked, and their rice boxes are actually a good tasty salad. Yeah, I've had a missing item (once) but head office sorted me out a blinder. Thank you KFC, I'm still not eating your gravy though ;-)

Chicken was dry, over cooked and tasted funny, kuds had to order a pizza as the chicken was not edible. We had to ask for the drinks repeatedly as they keep forgetting to complete yhe order in full

Credit where credit is due I'm updating my review on KFC London Road. Last night something was ordered for me and I must say, they're doing way better under lockdown-reopen-again-conditions. The food was pukka, I cannot remember ever having a better KFC. I tried a few things on the menu, so can say the fillet burger was juicy, the chicken on the bone was cooked perfectly and the boneless was also, dare I say, succulent. Pity milkshakes have been left off the menu but still, a decent enough menu available. Top job whoever was working 18-05-2020 Jeez I almost forgot.......even the corn on the cob has improved !!!

This branch is going down hill, if it can go any further. The photo to reality ratio is so far out of balance, they take the title. The burgers are tiny & look all beat up and the chips are a ridiculously small portion. Action man and Barbie would still be looking for more. Adults need to order triple. The saviour was the rice box but the price they charge is stupid. Mickey mouse drinks holder had the drink all over the footwell of the car as well, cheers guys. And what's with all the salt, I don't need it, are KFC the last to cotton on to waste, and plastic straws in plastic wrappers just to make you regret your purchase that little bit more? Jokers!

The chicken had a microwaved texture, with a hint of dirty dishwater flavouring. Burger like hockey puck.

we called at about 4.30 on a friday evening in january and the resteraunt was absolutely freezing staff were wearing coats we ordered our meal which was ok but had to eat it as fast as we could because it was so cold in there won,t be going again until summer

Had a main course, a desert and bought a takeaway. Only allowed 1 hour parking apparently but so much queuing left us with massive parking fine £100. Food not good enough to warrant the aggravation and expense. We both have blue badges!!!!!

Went into KFC at about 9:00pm on 26th August waited 25 minutes to be served whilst they were standing around having a chat then to be served unprofessionally and rude by 2 female members of staff especially one young lady who chucked the bag of food aggressively on the counter whilst rolling her eyes at us I will not be returning back to this KFC

We’ve been to the London road branch a few times and had the game of “what’s missing this time” on each occasion, but yesterday’s was just grim. Four of us ordered, four of us permanently on the loo today screaming to various deities for relief. Chicken looked odd...it was cooked to a crisp but had a strange colour and hue (an orange pink colour to the meat), chips were soggy and had a strange smell (chemical almost, we threw the lot away) and drinks were flat. Even the gravy had jellified. Not sure what practises they keep but I can’t believe it’s good.

Pulled up to the drive thru and was spoken to by such a rude chavy girl! I spoke one word and then was told there was only 2 pieces of chicken left and there was no Krushems either. There was no apology and we were spoken to very rudely, she then went on to telling us the process of the cleaning of the Krushem machine and at this point we really weren’t interested as she had been so rude. She then started to get cocky through the telecom because we were not too happy about the awful customer service. We have now gone to McDonald’s with more than 2 pieces of chicken and much better customer service! We have never been so rudely spoken to!! Shame we didn’t get her name as KFC really need to rethink her employment at this place. Really think this needs sorting before you lose even more customers.

After a long day, went to kfc by London road. They have the worst customer service. Very rude staff. Full of himself. Cold food. Soggy chips.I’ll never patronise kfc again. They can keep their floury chicken. I’m very disappointed. Good luck to their loyal customers

Take away for the family. Chicken OK but the chips were limp soggy and half cooked. No one ate the chips. Not even the dog.

Came for a early dinner to help ensure our family had full tummies and all order a zinger tower burger meal which came to £30 and i got to the car and all the chips were completed covered over the bottom, the service was not great what so ever and found a staff member washing his feet in the services toilets

It is a long time since I have been here and have to say that computerised ordering has certainly improved things in that service was much swifter. It was a football day, so busy and we ended up sitting outside. It was noticeable that bins were maintained at a level such that we could manage to clear our table after we had finished and tables inside and out seemed to have been cleared and wiped to a greater extent than has been my experience. I think the last time we had to clear a table ourselves to have somewhere to sit and eat. Food was as per usual for KFC, although chops portions seemed very small for 'large'. God knows what a regular portion was like. All in all an ok/average. Nothing more and nothing less.

Went last week to the eye branch and they had no chicken on the bone “ridiculous”

We stopped in to grab some dinner for my wife. The three piece box was okay, but she commented that the breading/batter seemed somehow different that at our last KFC visit, and the size of the chicken pieces was also diminished. The fries were okay, and the coleslaw side was average. While the server was friendly, this was hardly "fast food." and we had a bit of a wait for the order to be filled.

Myself and my husband visited here and we sat in side to eat our food has it was hot outside and it was nice to sit in has they had air con on and it was really nice and my food was ok but it could have done with been a bit warmer but i always like my food hot!

Went to kfc hampton, at 1.45 it was relatively quiet, but all the tables were dirty, no change in tills, all condiments were empty and had a roll of blue roll instead of serviettes ordered a Pepsi max and it tasted awful, the chicken was undesirable, the baked beans were so hot that even after 5 mins still burnt mouth, overall waste of money and food! Will not be going back!

Bought two chicken wraps and a portion of fries to eat on the way home cost £8.57 fries were four mouthfuls and neither of the wraps contained any salad very quick service but what do you expect when they cannot be bothered putting salad on

Met friends here, don't normally use this one.

Called 5 times to make sure they have stock, no answer so i drive all the way there anyway.

Snow day before footy. Was going to have greasy burger at ground but saw kfc had reopened after chicken delivery debacle. Well! This was the best I’d ever had. I don’t normally do kfc as most I’ve had are greasy but whether location or because efforts were being made, this was really good zinger burger. Place was clean as well.

I came for Chicken and you have run out what on Earth is going on it’s in your name and you run out really, your loss McDonald’s is very busy right now and yep they have Chicken

Great quick friendly service. Hot food. Nice clean restaurant. Only downside no big tables catering for a group of 4 maximum.

Madness. What is wrong with not having ice in your drink. It is not a crime. No cause for being tutted at. The food was not altogether hot. I ate the coleslaw and chips and drank my cola, but did not risk the chicken.

Had a drive thru take out, chicken was off, when i drove back in and went to speak with the Team leader (the person in charge) he was arrogant and totally uninterested in the fact that he was serving rotten chicken that could make someone sick. The place is dirty and unhygienic I will never set foot there again.

Probably the worst KFC in the country, cantankerous old timer with a white beard spent 10 minutes trying to upsell to us over an intercom, even bottles of water ! Then spent another 10 minutes telling us what he couldn't provide, ended up throwing our money back through the car window, visited the nearby A1 services kfc, breath of fresh air, polite staff, excellent service, apparently the London Road site was sold off and our experience is typical of previous trip adviser reports

Just called in at the drive thru first notice NO FRIES thought it could be an old notice so asked one of the 2 clowns taking the orders (not clowns boys? kids?) who thought it was better to have a laugh and a joke with each other instead of serving Order placed no fries charged for corn on the cob when asked why was told its only free with a bargain bucket? Paid £14.98, popping chicken, spicy wing zinger wrap and chicken fillet in a bun and 2 corn on the cobs, Again waiting for order ( more people in the back than I,ve every seen) the young lad did say sorry for the wait got home I only live a street away and was in the car food cold no garnish forks napkins what a rip off Knew I should have gone to Hampton.Customer service what a joke value for money no way would I go there again never in a month of Sundays How can KFC have no FRIES could have popped to Mcdonalds I,m sure they would have sold them some What joke

Una vuelta de la visita familiar, mi esposa y yo nos dirigimos a la ubicación kfc justo enfrente del campo de fútbol de pijo en London Road, Peterborough. Con pollo kfc y deliciosamente grasienta que gusto especial como una grasa especial para tratar inductora esperamos que no habíamos visitado ninguna de sus enchufes para un par de años. La ubicación es estupenda, luminoso y ventilado, con ventanas grandes para ver el tráfico y como siempre una gran tabla de opciones para seleccionar de.

La comida estaba bien, pero el personal podría trabajar en su servicio de atención al cliente un poco más, parecía estar hartos.

Well I am speechless.. How can KFC be so SHOCKINGLY BAD?!? First visit was awful but we gave them the benefit of the doubt as it was late.. (Order wrong once home cold soggy chicken and literally thrown in the bag) Visited again and pretty much the same but this time there was about 10 cold chips in the bag (was supposed to be large meals) I was so annoyed I called the manager and told him the food will be coming straight back as its was awful and even told him of our last experience. He really didn't seem to care or offer any compensation not that I would want a thing from there tbh. Please avoid guys.. Try Chicken palace in town it knocks the socks off this place!

Appalling service from miserable apathetic staff, no management or head office (apparently!) assume they are working for free as this would explain their attitude!!

Hard to find a table that was clean. Men's toilets were gross as well (I won't say what was on the floor). Told the staff. Not fussed. Staff need to sort it out.

Of all the KFC's we have been to, this one came bottom of the list - not the welcoming, relaxed atmosphere we have experienced before, serving hot, quality fried chicken and fries. This visit was mid-afternoon on a Saturday, and although parking was easy and quick, the service and quality left much to be desired!

This is the best KFC I have ever visited. Clean tables always and piping hot food. The staff are always attentive and polite.

Have stopped at this branch 2 times in recent months, and each time have arrived home to find significant parts of the order missing from the bag!It would seem that the drive through staff are just not interested in getting orders correct with the belief that this wont be noticed until customer has reached home! When you call to complain are told to just return for the missing items. Which is not practical if you dont live close.

The staff in this kfc seem to not be interested in selling you something or not.... You don't get asked what dips you would like or little else to that matter.A simple request caused so much confusion I had to say forget it ! The food was warm at best and nothing like it used to be...

The staff were pleasant, but the place was really dirty. Do not have the sweet corn as it tasted soggy. I believe it was the KFC that we had last night that has given my son diarrhoea all day.

I did a drive-thru at this branch of KFC at the end of August. When I went to pay, the guy on the till said it hadn't worked and I should enter my PIN again.A few days later I checked my bank statement and lo-and-behold I'd been charged twice. I contacted KFC but they have steadfastly refused to help or refund me.They say I should contact my bank but quite frankly, even if the fault does like with the bank, for a piddly £7-something I would've thought KFC would've shown a bit of goodwill and refunded me anyway rather than put me through the hassle of contacting my bank for a matter that was not my fault (and which I still strongly suspect was KFC's error).Never again.

With KFC you know what your getting. Fast food that is good food. The KFC in Peterborough did just that. There was good service.

It has to be one of the best KFC's around, every 2nd weekend I would make sure when I use to live in Peterborough that I would go there. Always had pipping hot fresh chicken that tasted great!

We ordered our meal and after about five minuets we received our order. whilst we sat next to the door I looked up and saw a massive cobweb hanging from the ceiling, chips were all over the floor. If the restaurant was this dirty I dread to think what the kitchen was like.

visited KFC with a friend when the restaurant we usually visit was unexpectedly closed.We both had a zinger meal,which for a fast food outlet was surprisingly good.

Been going regularly here for several years mostly dine in.I would say it hits the 80% satisfaction rate . Have odd times had a missing or wrong item . Quality is variable but only medium to good . You have to realise sometimes the food has been sitting there for a fair while . I will still go there .

Well......what can u say when every table has food and sauce and chips all over them and floor as well looks disgusting and poor hygiene, but the food was OK....shame about the restaurant.

I live close by to this KFC so I go there fairly regularly. But every time my order is incorrect. I use the drive thru and every time I get home and unpack the food it's always either not what I ordered ir it's not complete. From now on won't ever be using this KFC again. Surely it can't be hard to put chicken in a bag!

I came in when it was only couple people in, i ordered 2 zinger burgers, 2 fries, 2 pesi (1 regular one max which got mixed up), and 4 spicy wings. We waited for about 5 mins, te zinger burger was good but only half of it had mayo. The fries were undercooked which was a disapointment.

This is the first time in many years I have visited this company and it will certainly be my last.The food was a total let down and very greasy and tasteless.

I chose the big mighty bucket for one, it was great , 2 spicy wings, 2 pieces of chicken, 2 mini breast fillets, fries and a regular drink to wash it down with and it only cost 5.99. It changed my perceptions of KFC, the facilities was clean with nice background music, I am impressed and my hungry was satisfied.

The kfc has just reopened from being all done up. Looks nice but hasn't changed! Went through drive thru and asked for a LARGE boneless banquet. Instead of large chips I got small and instead of 3 chicken fillets o got 2 and half! The half looked half eaten! Also when I pulled up to the second window I just got left there for 5 mins with the staff just looking at me every now and again. There was no your food will just be one minute. Also one of the men that looked to be in charge decided to pick up with his bare hands a piece of popcorn chicken that the lady using the scoop to put them in boxes had dropped and he put it back in with the chicken to be served. I don't know where his hands have been!!!! If washed!! So he just contaminated the rest of it. Not happy with rude service and no care about food contamination!

The staff are kind, friendly and courteous KFC . The place needs to be kicked off, fully revamped and cleaned. KFC

Went in to eat service was abrupt and the restaurant was disgusting untidy no one cleaning at all we was in for good hour not one person bothers to clean tables or floor etc, felt very unhygienic. Only thing good was food tasted ok, but not exactly very warm.

Nice food and quick service. My only issue is that kfc is rather pricey compared to other fast food. Yummy though

This is not what I could call a restaurant as such it more of a take away/chain establishment. That said I got the service that I would expect from somewhere such as this. The service was ok although the servers were not particularly personable, due no doubt to the queue of people waiting to order and possibly the boredom of repetition as this a busy place. The food was average by that I mean it was what we ordered, it was hot and served relatively quickly. Just your average KFC really. One thing to note I would avoid this place just after the football finishes as it is totally rammed at this time.

Very satisfying food but unfortunately the service hasn't been all that good. The recent visits I have not had the best welcome and my food hasn't been hot as it should be. The size of the burgers are very poor but now that I have had my fair share of the chicken popcorn snack box I have today that is value for money.

Nothing special, food is very often cold even though it supposed to be made to order. STaff are very rude when complaints are made about food temperature

There are several KFC sites in and around Peterborough but please note that I am reviewing the KFC that is inside the Haddon eXtra services adjacent to the A1(M).Inside this food court you will find a McDonalds, a Le Petit Four, a Costa, a Marks and Spencer and with the largest counter are, a KFC. Usually there is only one member of staff on duty at the counter, although to be honest it never seems to be very busy when we make our regular post shopping weekday visit. The wife and daughter usually have something from one of the other outlets but last week, I fancied some fried chicken. After having studied the menu I opted for a two piece traditional meal with a side of coleslaw. I was handed an empty cup-note the fact that there was no ice to be seen anywhere-which I had to fill up myself. Apart from that my meal arrived very quickly. The chicken didn't look very appetising and I have to say that it looks like the coating has changed. It used to be quite thick and tasty but this coating was very thin and did not have much taste. The chips were lukewarm and very dry inside. In fact just like KFC chips have always been.The coleslaw tasted as if it was on the verge of going off, even though it was within the date stamped on the container.I always eat this sort of food with my fingers, and it was the aftermath of this meal that really turned me off. I couldn't believe how bad my fingers smelt after the meal, and I can only put it down to the substance the chips were fried in. My fingertips smelt rancid, indicating that the cooking oil was in dire need of changing.So although we might be in a recession, I don't expect establishments like this cutting back on basics such as keeping cooking oil clean.Take note KFC, that I will never, ever buy anything from this outlet again.

I use to love KFC more , because you got your food very quckly with no fuss, but the quality of the food seems to have declined

KFC is mostly good wherever you go. This has a fairly large counter with plenty of tills but only 2 were available on an evening time (a busy one at that). So the chicken was great, pretty much as always but the toilets were out of soap, out of toilet roll and had dirty floors. The staff couldn't send anybody to clean them after request, for the 40 minutes it took my fat backside to complete my bucket. The staff were nice - but there weren't enough of them which is a shame. Friendly, good chicken but dirty which lets it down.

I don't enjoy having to repeat my order three times, nor do I enjoy eating a chicken burger assembled by a blind drunk with a hammer.

took ages to get my order even though i was the only one there. when it did arrive my fris had been tipped onto a tray out of its bag. i sat down to then find hairs in the fries i took them back was given more without an apology they made me feel like i was over reacting. i then opened my tub of gravy to find more hairs!! when i complained iwas shrugged off. this put me off my meal i then couldnt eat, they refused to give me my money back as i had taken 1 bite of my burger before i found the hairs! the place is always full of dirty tables and staff swearing at each other! my advice is stay well clear go to the a1 services kfc if u really want one but never go to this one!

Like all the KFC's in England that I have visited, this one is also good. Small place with limited car parking spaces.

Several times the food isnt really fresh and get home and the beans are missing or the chips etc always missing something that has been paid for !!!

We all have our own expectations about what to expect at KFC, but my recent visit to KFC at Peterborough Services was a new low!I had difficulty in hearing what the staff said, and the chicken was overcooked, the fries undercooked and the fizzy drinks were flat. The only positive was that the service was swift.Not a good advert for KFC or for Peterborough Services.

the air con is on in the winter so you don't want to take your coat off, food ok, staff ok, could do with rubber stoppers at the bottom of the chairs instead of plastic ones as they make a terrible noise when you move the chairs, it just makes you want to leave.
