Always friendly staff good food

Five Guys cheese toasties are outrageously expensive and so small I thought they came from the Quantum realm. I respect your game, even after I have literally been shanked for 13 quid.

Great food, but as usual for Five Guys, a bit pricey. Definitly scratched that itch for a great burger though! and s always a small fries gave us more than enough for two to share! The space and bahtrooms were nice and clean as well!

This was amazing and the portion sizes were also amazing!!! The chips portion offering meant that I could hardly eat the cheeseburger.........which I did in the end. Wasn't too busy either. Will return.

Omg I love this place. The burgers are so good. Just note that the small burger just means 1 beef patty rather than 2 beef party's. When you have all the toppings it's amazing

Great food as always but some tables not wiped, presumably due to the high speed of food service.

Lovely place, i do wish the entrance was a little more wheelchair user friendly. Its a very steep "ramp" more like a rounded hill & this continues up into the store so almost impossible to get up or down by myself even without the door to try and open. The food and service is great though!

You'll find this place expensive if you're used to McDs (and to be fair, a burger, fries and drink can run you close to £20) but you won't find a better burger in Peterborough. Food made fresh in front of you, however you want it. The chips are amazing also. Best place for a burger in this city by miles.

The service was impeccable, the food was hot and delicious, and the restaurant was clean and tidy. There was a problem with a QR code I was given, but the friendly staff and manager worked it out between them and even gave me a complimentary drink to apologise for the delay. Such a delightful experience compared to a recent visit to the Birmingham bullring restaurant.

Tbh ratings for food and service were a guess .. we had chosen to visit specially, as ny son loves a good burger and were keen to try on site rather than delivery to be sure we had the best first experience. The state of the tables and floors was appalling and totally unsanitary, despite being empty and various members of staff on site. Will not be returning.

Very expensive for what you get. I would rather pay to go get a better burger at a local pub now I know.

It's Five Guys. They remain the same wherever you go in the world unlike restaurants whose burgers change daily and are hit and miss.

Really great food, my biggest problem with Five Guys is trying to figure out what toppings to go into my burger (they're all so good) and still be able to fit it inside the bun. As for the chips, I love the way they throw in a tray full of lose chips as well. The people working at Five Guys are so friendly and have great customer service skills.

Five guys is expensive but probably the best burger you can get.

I absolutely live the peanut butter milkshake here. Say no more. Burgers are pretty decent too.

Food is good, but not a special as people seem to rate it - there are better places for burgers in Peterborough. VERY over priced for what it is

Over priced for what you actually get. Don’t get me wrong the actual quality of the meat was nice. But I had a hotdog which was very small for a normal one, not worth £8 on its own. My partner had the cheese and bacon burger which was nice but he hates salad bits so just for beer and bun on it’s own was £10. Not worth. The chips was so salty. Made McDonald’s chips taste bland. I was ill and thirsty all day with the amount of salt. I have tried it but it’s not worth it. It’s just a takeaway that’s trending on social media.

Visited here a couple of weeks ago, we had heard about the food chain before but never tried it. We ordered based on recommendations from friends and wow...the milkshakes are amazing! If you ever go, go for the milkshakes. You won't be disappointed! The food was good but very pricey. Either way, it's worth a try!

Foods OK but pricey, and they missed out the milkshake from the order and pretended they know nothing about it on the phone. Expect better.

Little noisy indoors compared to other burger places but the outdoor tables are great on a sunny day. The burgers are delicious. Love the self-serve drinks, you can mix your own fizzy flavours🥤. Free salted peanuts in the shell that you can grab a scoop of🥜. Two toilets, and drawing stuff for kids and creative adults. This premises is not recommended for nut allergy sufferers. The cooking oil here is peanut oil, nothing will be peanut free.

The fries had kilos of salt on. I couldn't even eat then . Very disappointed and very unprofessional!

Love burgers cooked to order, great fries and it's licensed to so you can enjoy a beer with your food (Boston lager, so a pretty decent brew). Staff are always friendly and you're never waiting long for your order.

So today was my first time going to a 5 guys and my first time in the Peterborough 5 guys. When i first went in, it looked more like a mcdonalds. People stood everywhere, and there were like 3 lines to be served. They definitely need a manager to organise staff better or something, but it was like I was in aldi during a shopping rush. I get that you pay for the quality as I have my own takeaway business, but at least have the drink machine and ice machine working properly. Food was actually really nice. I love a burger that one hit the spot, and to top it off, the chips are homemade. All together, it was really good but just seemed a bit disorganised.

For a burger, fries, and a milkshake, it's expensive, but the burger is made just how you want it, relishes, etc. The fries portion is generous in the extreme, and the milkshake is thick to the last drop, and it's been the same for a while. So I guess the expensive is different for different people personally I'm happy to pay for it.

The food was okay but the price you pay is far too expensive not value for money at all will not be eating there again due to this the service was shocking and staff need to brush up on customer service i would avoid

Food has always been excellent here, fast service, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Located in the city centre opposite the church, parking isn't ideal but with Queensgate across the road it's an easy walk.

Was recommended by this place by a “friend”, I found it to be a glorified Burger King in my opinion, superb milkshake, chips slightly better then average, burger was good but not great, overpriced, aggressive service due to shouting out to collect milkshake, then further shouting to collect burger, uncomfortable seating, sticky tables and floors, was not impressed despite all the hype

The dining experience was quite disappointing , the fries were too salty and the lettuce did not taste fresh! I would have rated lower but the milkshake was quite lovley. Staff friendliness could be improved.

I dont like burger in five guys. But it is famous for fries and caramel milkshake. Its most tasty one ever and i can't find same taste any other place rather than five guys. Keep it up guys.

This is not the place to come again. Burgers are over grilled, bacon hard as rock and the size of the meal is no bigger as in McDonald's. French fries were ok, not oil cooked but because they fill the meal back half full with fries (waste of food) I can't give any credit for that. And to finish that, the price is as high as a proper restaurant. Over £50 for two hotdogs, one burger, two portions of chips and 3 drinks.

Quite small but functional eating area. Burgers so juicy. Fries a little salty. Brilliant free refills of soft drinks. The milkshakes are heavenly, expensive, but you get what you pay for.

We tried this based on the comments of a friend. Couldn’t see what all the fuss was about. The burger was overcooked and greasy although the fries were ok. The hotdog was equally unimpressive. All in all, I would say I have had better burgers at some pubs, and sadly this just wasn’t the hard earned cash we shelled out for it. Well, at least I can say “been there, done that!”

Excellent burgers, excellent salted peanuts in the shell (highly addictive in themselves!), and large portions of chips (even the 'little' portions are enough for 2 people unless you are ravenous)! Going to visit again!

We ordered at 17.05 for delivery, we schedule it for 7pm arrived at 19.45 very poor and slow delivery having ordered nearly three hours in advance.

Walked in off the street starving hungry and was met with the best customer service and smile in a long time. Food was served quickly but with care, and tasted delicious....and the milkshake was out of this world.

Update 23/09/22: Received a response from the business asking me to contact them via the feedback on their website (surprising as I only said the fries were too salty - otherwise a five star review), I did this and heard nothing in response - so conclude their response is simply there as a visible show of them caring, when it would appear the opposite could be the case. *************************************** This was the first time we had tried Five Guys, having only fairly recently heard about them. Had the bacon burger with cheese and jalapeño and spicy fies. The store is very clean and tidy, the staff super friendly, although clearly working to a script, which makes it somewhat disingenuous. Service was very quick indeed and the flavours on the drinks was excellent with combinations you cannot buy in bottles, we tried the caffeine free Coke flavors and they were very good. The food itself was excellent the only problem was the fries were SUPER salty! I love salty food, but even I struggled with these. I suspect there had been an "accident" with the lid on the salt pot, my wife couldn't eat all of hers. As a couple this was a good experience, but at just over £30 for two burgers, shared fries and drinks, this would make a family visit very expensive. Probably rule it out for a lot of families these days, where household budgets are being seriously stretched.

Sometimes you just need a fairly decent burger and in Peterborough it seems the only place that can serve a good one. It is a little pricey but not been let down on quality. Staff are friendly and always helpful when making selections or hacking the menu for some epic tastey burger. The atmosphere does always seem a little dull when sitting inside - would recommend a decent playlist for music.

I love the food, but the music is too loud. Some people like to eat in peace.

Burgers are one of the best we ever tasted. It was the chips that let it down a little for me, and no veggie burgers for me nor all the vegetarians out there, hence only 4 stars
