Kfc in Peterborough

Absoloutely awful. Attitude food service.when complained no spice seasoning in chicken told if there wernt we would be closed! And so they should be. Rats running around outside.Disgusting attitudes and place.

The service at KFC generally, wherever you go, is poor. Untrained staff can’t even put a serviette in the bag. I don’t think I’ve ever had everything I needed when I left. I really don’t know how they can manage a business like this. KFC appear to be able to embed a culture across the franchise network as well as McDonald’s, but sadly it’s a consistently bad one of poor and slow service. The only thing keeping many of them in business is a lack of competition. The last time I went in they sectioned some of the seats off, perhaps to give the impression that is was clean, but it never is. The chicken is good, but the sides, especially the micro-pot of stewed beans, and the tasteless coleslaw, are unimaginative and poor quality. Perhaps for me the worst thing is the incoherent menu choices - “you can’t have boneless with that”!

Chicken was half raw and drenched in oil. Customer service terrible. Unable to eat the food purchased, and cannot believe it was packaged in that state.

Just had a delivery of a 10 wicked variety box and the only thing we could eat was the fries, the chicken was over cooked or had sat in the hot box all day and the gravy well all I can say I I'm glad I'm wallpapering next week it would hardly pour it was that thick. The corn cobs tasted like they were off. Now I'm not a person to complain and I have eat there a quite previous and its been fine, but there is no way the £31 worth I got should of ever been sent to a customer and I know i work in the restaurant industry. Cold food asked 3 times for a hot burger . The chicken was stone cold and you could see the cheese had not melted. After speaking to a manager got half a hot burger as one of the chicken pieces was actually hot ! Not been to KFC for years and won’t return again

Drive thru on a Sunday night (13th March) 8.48pm on the receipt… given the wrong order by happy-slappy staff who seemed to be having a great time giggling and fooling around rather than concentrating on the customer. Got home (5 minute drive) to realise I hadn’t been given the right order (I was the only drive-thru customer?!!)… and what I had been given was lukewarm. I was hungry, so ate it anyway, then tried phoning to complain, but they were constantly engaged. That night, sweats, headache and the squirts… which continued for nearly a week (getting a little better each day). On the plus side, I reckon I’ve lost at least half-a-stone! On the negative side, I still can’t get through by phone. Complaint on its way to HQ!

Dry chicken no taste of spices or anything. Chips re dipped in fryer and left sat for ages was awful couldn't eat the 13 I got in 1 portion. The chicken burger was hard, dry, and disgusting. Only good thing was the roll and beans. Kfc has hit rock bottom it's no where near what it used to be. 17pound for 2 buns and 2 tubs of beans... SHOCKING

Ordered 10 piece family feast. Requested mainly legs. We got 3. Asked for 8 hot wings. We got 6. Asked for Tango and I think they took it out the oven and not the fridge. Requested cold one. Was told they did not have a cold one. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Chips tasted like cardboard and was not hot. Would not recommend to anyone and avoid at all costs.

excellent service. staff very kind and helpful when taking orders and explaining menu items. food was being prepared while still ordering so it was ready as soon as we’d paid. very good 10/10 do recommend

Good grief . Waited one hour to place order . The self serve machines are only ok to use if you don’t want to customise your burger etc . No acknowledgment of the delays from staff . A ‘sorry to keep you waiting’ might have been nice but nothing . Food was ok but seem to be so short staffed it’s not worth the wait .

Avoid! Won’t be returning! They cannot take a simple order, chips missing, dips missing, ordered takeaway - served for eating in, chips all over the tray, staff uninterested, uncleared tables.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Bearing in mind we are still in a Pandemic the tables and floor were a health hazard. We ordered our food on the touch screen and when it got handed to us we were in for a shock. Firstly, they had run out of salt, serviettes & lettuce and my partner literally had 6 chips and they messed the drinks up. After complaining we were given more chips but the whole experience was shocking and we will not be returning.

I visited kfc and was served by a young pleasant lady on the drive through She was very efficient polite and top class customer services which is hard to come by I did ask her name she said it was Lilly hope this was correct information

I have avoided this KFC for a reason last two times I have popped in, messed up my order, that was nearly a year ago, travelling back today from seeing my mother in law, my wife, daughter and I thought we'd give them a go, oh no still incompetent idiots who can't get a simple order right, love KFC go hampton quite regular, just these idiots at eye roundabout just can't get nothing right, so if you are going there read your order out slowly and clearly and get them to read it back to you, I bet they still get it wrong, I wish you luck

Ordered KFC for the first time through Deliveroo and paid for 3 BBQ dips and 2 Ketchup. None of which turned up with the order.

Poor no spoons for the beans apart from my step dad sadly no FLIPEN POP CORN CHICKEN! Half an hour wait in drive thru I'm atternly disappointed NO SPOONS! MY BIRTHDAY!

Just been to kfc at eye roundabout. Customer service was very poor, the staff member that served me was rude and ignorant. And to top it all off the order was completely wrong. Never going there again. KFC has changed so much for the worst!

Did a drive thru and it the chicken stayed hot all the way to Spalding! The new fries are so much better than what you used to have

I think this has to be my last time I use the KFC at Eye, its beyond belief just how bad this place is for customer service and getting your order correct, using the drive through your food is literally thrown at you out of the serving hatch by some young lad at a 100 miles an hour, and its generally in a bag that is already torn and meal box falling out. It's terrible. On this occasion I was given the previous customers receipts before I had even paid, had to shout through the hatch for my drink as he had forgot it, and then didn't give me my receipt for own purchase, and of course the box had split the bag in which the food was slung.

We had KFC tonight,everything seemed over cooked the chips looked like they had been cooked hour's earlier then cooked again plus we was 4 bag's of chip's down, we didn't notice until we got home,someone needs to go there and teach them how to cook, and stop ripping people off, it's not the 1st time we have been short of stuff.

KFC, Eye need to branch out into stand up comedy as just ordered two large 'Big Daddy' meals, what we actually got was equivalent to a childs or regular sized meal - at a push & then had the nerve to charge me upwards of £16. Only just calming down now & my partner only just dare talk to me. Do yourself a favour & have cheese on toast, at least you can see what you're getting for your money...

Well done to the team at KFC. I had a varied order of eight meals and two family feast buckets. All meals were correctly served with no errors. Two of the staff helped me out to the van as I had three big bags of food and loads of drinks. My meal was perfectly cooked and still hot when I got the food back to work. Place looked clean and tidy. An improvement on my previous reviews.

We visited this KFC after a family trip to the cinema. When we arrived the mash was not available- fair enough. We ordered on the machines and went to collect our order. I arrived at the counter to see the food just all chucked on the tray but thought oh well and took it back to my seat. Upon sitting down we realised the child's meal was missing as was the dip I ordered. When going back to questions this, the member of staff suggested I was lying by saying it was definitely there... It wasn't. So they bunged the order in the bag and passed it over. We then see there is still missing parts to the kids meal so go back to be told it is out of stock, a heads up would have been nice. The food tasted good, usually KFC standard but the service and the fact that the krushem was in a random cup and not even half full just shows the lethargic attitude of some of the staff there.

Eight different orders for a team takeaway meal. All orders were correct. Service was fast and the server double checked every meal. Everyone enjoyed their food. Clean and tidy. Did expect all meals to come in boxes but some were just in paper bags so it took a bit of sorting out all the different meals. This kfc seems to be improving lately, late last year it was very poor for a period of time.

Writing reviews for KFC is usually simple. Food great, staff great, cleanliness great. I’ve only been to one crap one, and that’s Wellingborough.Thankfully, this one is similar to all the good ones and I’ve never had a bad experience here. It’s my regular branch, and it’s my regular for a reason!

The lady who took my order was very friendly and spoke reasonable English which was much better than previous visits. My order was correct which again was an improvement as I have had plenty of wrong orders before. Place was pretty clean for once. Usually the floor is a mess and when some lazy customers don’t bin their rubbish the tables are not cleaned quick enough. My food was good as usual and definitely more filling for the money than most take always. So all in all, this KFC seems to be getting better but still a long way to go. Management need to retrain staff so people know what they are doing to get a more efficient customer experience.

Would rather defecate in my hands and clap than eat here again. Customer service is better at a self check-out point. Girl at the window was so bland, she’s as useful as a fork in soup.

After seeing the wife in hospital and getting late thought kfc ...fancied some chicken........ordered chicken fillet and fries, the chips were just warm and the chicken in bum was cold spoke to a member of staff, oh ....did not give a dam so I left the meal on table and walked out and will never go in there again, won't recommend to anyone...and why kfc so dirty in restaurants.

The staff here are rude and obnoxious. They like to swear and laugh at the customers.

A really smart modern building which has a very wlecoming atmosphere. Above standard for a KFC was my immediate thought with everything spotless and shining.

Pulled up in the car park and was greeted by the beautiful smell of dogsthorpe rubbish tip. After admiring the stench for a few minutes I made my way inside the chicken restaurant. I was disappointed to discover that there was only a limited menu. They had no Quorn, Diet Coke or Big Macs. I wasn’t happy so asked to speak to the colonel. He wasn’t available - apparently they’d also run out of those. On the positive side the gravy was decent. Unfortunately I spilled it all over my suit which meant my Mrs found out I’d binned the lunch she’d made me and gone to KFC instead.

Ordered 12 piece boneless dipping feast. Got home opened up bag, inside were 12 chicken breast strips and 6 bags of chips.

Pulled up to kfc drive inn ordered pulled by the window the dispatch window guy and a girl play fighting i asked him are you having fun hr said abruptly NO not really and shut the window on me mmmmm ok...he said your foods ready i said pkease don't forget the coleslaw no problem its in the bag got home LIE 1 no colslaw.

Went there earlier this week at about 10pm, so still an hour of serving left. No "Hello" or "good evening", just greeted with the obnoxious cleaner barking out it's a takeaway menu only. This was backed up by the staff behind the counter. The cleaner looked a bit miffed when we actually dare walk across his cleaned floor to then attempt to order food.

Wouldn't normally review a place like KFC as it is cheap food and is a much of a muchness anywhere but this is my local one and 90% of the time orders are incorrect. Sure they end up sorting it out but they should be getting it right first time. Management/franchise owner here needs to get in and kick their backsides. Just absolute laziness

Called in yesterday to collect the boneless dipping feast only to discover that when we arrived home there was no door included in box. Too far to return for them so ruined the meal.

After been in hospital, wife fancied KFC for tea, warm chips chicken dry , best part was the Pepsi and on the counter lots of ants running a round.....did tell the woman and I guy came out with a bottle of pink spray and wiped them a way, after 5 minutes ants are back.....lovely place.....makes u wonder what the kitchen is like.....happy days for the ANTS.

good clean kfc but check your order mistakes often made and have had to wait in car park several times when using the drive through, employees generally not the sharpest tools in the box

Had a wicked variety bucket which cost me £14.49. The chicken was darker than usual and tasted bitter as it had been fried in stale oil. This is the second time this has happened so it's going to be a while before I go back to this branch!

got a KFC on friday 29th for a take away got all the home only to find that i had no fries called to make a complaint and got given a complaint code for a free meal so went in on Saturday 30th gave the cashier the code and still try to charge me

I live at Peterborough and as this is my local KFC visited this one the most. But have made a decision not to go to this one anymore. Everytime the food is poor, We've had stale rolls, warm KFC, overcooked chicken, even missing items ordered in the drive thru. It's a waste of money to go to this one, believe me if you really want KFC it's worth the extra miles to go to a different one.

Just wanted a quick meal solution after a long week, sadly our drive-thru chicken bucket went in the bin Cremated, dry chicken, cold fries and congealed gravy that required slicing! Revolting waste of money

popped in with the kids (11 and 13) on the way home after drooping the wife at the train station. It was about 6.30 on a Wednesday. We do not eat at fast food places often and thought that KFC would be a change and standards a fast food outlets is usually pretty consistent wherever you go. How wrong could i be!!! It was not particularly busy but i do not think i have ever seen a place in such a mess. The service seemed very slow considering it was not that busy. Being a fast food novice i did not realize you had to ask for the ketchup. I found this out after leaving the queue. They usually ask if you want ketchup, if they have to hand it out, don't the?. The food was what i expected (bargain bucket).The tables were not being cleared or wiped. The bins were full to overflowing so rubbish was piling up on tables. I had to clear a table myself and had heap the rubbish up on another table as there was no were else to put it. It was in a mess when i got there and nobody tackled it whilst i was there. Of all the places i have wrote reviews on so far this one is by far the worst one i have visited.

I eat quite a bit from KFC and am rarely dissapointed. The unit on the roundabout at Peterborough is awful though, the chicken is often dry and the service is pretty bad. I try and avoid it and now the new one is open near the big Tesco at Hampton I will go there as the food is 1000% better.

I arrived at this KFC at 10:45pm. My wife was looking forward to a KFC following a long journey. The chairs were already on the tables but no worry we only wanted a takeaway. We waited at the counter and were completely ignored. No acknowledgement, no apology to say' sorry we are closing.' Eventually we walked out in disgust. I have never encountered such ignorance in a food establishment.

Visited KFC today,6th October with partner felt hungry so stopped off on route home, food arrived cold all chicken cold burgers cold.took back for fresh to be done refused only give you Same again.then asked what you want me to do about it they all like it.asked for money back as so disgusted.the members off staff then talked loud behind counter regards my complaint.If this is how you train your staff and dish food up then KFC will go out off business here quickly.place was empty but hot plates full off food.sitting there Luke warm.Need to train staff properly and cook food to customer request so hot and more tasty.Won't return disgusted with attitude and horrible food

Is it me or is the standards of food hygiene on a downward spiral? Visited KFC and ordered a bargain bucket. The staff were friendly and polite when serving and that was fine. However discovered that some of the pieces of chicken smelt wrank. The smell that comes when the chicken is going off. I took the uneaten bits of chicken back and without missing a beat the Customer Assistant automatic stock response was that it wasn't off. She made no attempts to smell the meat but insisted that it was fine. She did ask if I would like a replacement but I politely declined. Having completed a Food Hygiene course I understand when chicken starts to smell rotten it means there is some sort of contamination. Buyer beware you will have a hard job getting this corporate giant to take your food safety concerns seriously.
