KFC in Torbay

NEVER AGAIN! I have been supporting them since they opened years ago. Not any more. All the counters are now CLOSED. The only way to order food now is from what they call "kiosks". That is touch screens on posts. I managed to get one to come up with a list of options but the meal I wanted wasn't listed so I went to the counter and looked at the wall to check they still sell it, which they do. The hard-faced unsmiling female working there completely ignored me so I returned to the touch screen but couldn't get it to work so I tried two others but no menus came up so I walked out. Another business about to go down the pan through lack of customer service. Some people happen to have fingers that do not react easily to touch screens and I am one of them, so is my son. KFC has lost my custom forever unless they bring back humans as an option.

Ordered from here as me and the missus fancied kfc for a change.. And to be honest it wasn't that bad as previous times we've had from here.. Improved a little...

Absolutely disgusting semi cooked chicken filthy bench seats with stuck on food rude staff dirty floors cold coffee do not go here

I have never tasted KFC so bad as I have from here. Bucket chicken was as dry as kiln wood. The new flavour zinger tower burger tasted like it had no chicken in it

We ordered among other items 2x mini fillet snack boxes as shown in there photos. We received 2x popcorn chicken snack boxes containing 3 pieces of popcorn chicken and approximately 15 chips per box also the boxes were miniature not the ones in the photos and not what we have received from other outlets in the past. We informed the staff that we had been given the wrong order and asked to receive the mini fillet as request and paid for. We was made to feel as though receiving the wrong order was our fault and ignored for asking if the replacement was correct as it didn't resemble the photos or what we have received in the past.

Today I visited the Brixham Road Paignton branch where myself and my friend stopped for food. Sat down at the bench and noticed the following. (See attached photos) This is disgusting.. I have sent these photos to environmental health at the council. When I spoke to the so called manageress asked do you have cleaners here she replied yes we do with a can't be bothered attitude only 10 minutes previous when we arrived at the car park she was found slouching on an outside bench with head in hand not the image that wants to be seen!

It really is the worst kfc not only in the country but the whole world! Iv given thus place so many chances. The food is vile. Who owns this place. Surely this can't go on!

We ordered a family meal for delivery to find, once it was delivered 1/3 of the meal was missing, called the store, they state you will have to come in and collect the rest, I personally will never eat at this establishment again very poor customer service to say they least, it ruined my meal once I’d called up try to sort it the rest was cold and went in the bin, your free and easy taking peoples money but when it comes to sorting order issues it’s very poor on your part Shame on you

My husband came down with food poisoning a few hours after eating there, has been up all night, and is still vomiting, feverish and unwell this morning. I had a vegan burger, so presume it was dodgy chicken he ate. Since then, we've seen that food poisoning cases are very common there 🤢🤢 I dislike fast food and kfc at the best of times and only ended up there out of necessity, but would definitely advise avoid this kfc in particular!

Ordered rice boxes and was told on recieving my order " was told we have no forks use a wooden stick or my fingers." Bit sad really as across the road they could of picked up some cutlery

No issues at all at this KFC - close to home and we go once a month on average. Jack on the main tills is always polite and efficient. Food nearly always hot too.

Food wasn't actually that bad today.. Even got our order right.. The staff are so poor and clueless.. You'd think with all the poor reviews that someone in head office would change things and make a difference.. Wasn't busy whatsoever. Staff could have cleaned because the place was a tip..

Went in and left pretty quickly! The place was absolutely filthy, staff stood around chatting to each other rather than cleaning it up. We went off to a local pub and got a meal for almost the same cost! This KFC really needs to improve, wonder how many others walk out! We certainly won’t be returning!

Well done KFC Paignton! Superb food and service today 29.06.23 at 7pm. We went through the drive through and the whole experience was fantastic. Team member greeting us was very pleasant and knowledgeable, he asked if we wanted any extras, any ice cream etc, we then received our food via the window and again, team member was very pleasant and polite. Food was fantastic and finally we got the gravy in this branch. Well done KFC Paignton, we will be back soon.

Avoid this place at all cost not only is it dirty and disgusting when you walk in even the staff are pretty rude and not very helpful at all, we wanted to change 2 chicken wings to one piece of chicken but I couldn't be done so we've got the whole meal refund and walked away never will we use this place again.... We tried this place 9 months ago - No Gravy. Tried again 6 months ago - No Gravy. Tried again 3 months ago - No Gravy. Tried today and guess what! NO GRAVY!!! Please it’s a joke, KFC can be a great QSR but this one is just a terrible. Come on manager, sort this simple thing out.

We went there yesterday my both kids 2 and 7 are food poison same as me this is second time in past 4 months I be reporting this place and never again visit it again.

Dropped into KFC Paignton for some lunch. Ordered hot wings, a fillet burger, fries, sweetcorn and gravy. All perfectly cooked, hot and tasty. Staff great. No complaints at all.

Placed an order for a bbq wrap to takeaway at the counter and after 10 minutes of other orders being completed left with no information as to the status of my order! Never told when ordered about there would be a long wait! When asked to when I would get my order said not sure as busy with other orders. There were staff just hanging around doing nothing as they didn’t care about customers. In the end said can’t wait any longer and walked out. Nothing has changed in this branch of KFC and is still the worst in the area. Get better service elsewhere with KFC with a fraction of the staff. Not going back again and will recommend others do the same

Paignton KFC is terrible would not recommend. Torquay one not great either. Long waits, poor Service, food missing my. Other areas not a problem but unable to travel due to lockdown. Won’t be visiting any Torbay KFC again.

This KFC has never got out order correct and the food has not been good...also they have forgot our side orders a number of time. . We have been a few times now to see if it has got better but it seems to have just got worse. Car park is always a dump and it is never being managed properly. This place needs to have some sort of guidance from someone higher up or needs to be closed.

After passing my driving theory test my mum ‘treated’ me to a kfc. Little did I know that it was all undercooked. This has practically made me paralysed. I spent the first day and night vomiting every 5 minutes. And crying in pain. Then tossed and turned unable to sleep. I have been trying desperately hard to eat over the past few days but have been unable to do so. It is physically difficult to breath. And all basic tasks (even rolling over in bed) are next to impossible. I don’t think I’ll EVER be having a kfc again.

Everytime I visit this dump they have no gravy. I went once they had no chicken.. another time they closed at 10:30pm when they should close at 11pm.but I've been about ten different times were they have no gravy..This place is a joke.Shut them down. This is by far the worst KFC in the uk if not the worst fast food store overall. Every order I have ever placed has been wrong and the staff have no clue. The franchise owner should be fired for lack of care. This is the last straw I ordered a bucket and got 5 pieces not 6 and all 5 were LEGs when breast was on the request.

Wrong order despite server checking in the bag. Drove a long way home to find out it was wrong. No reply from them on phone despite constantly calling. Drove all way back and despite originally offering refund they then refused. Tried to offer more food but had been totally off put. Manager was quite rude and upset my partner to an extent I had never seen her.

I was made to wait 30 minutes for fast food only to get home with two bags of hot wings instead of my meals.
