Wasn't going to come back here after my last visit 18 months ago but I was passing through Maidenhead and needed a quick lunch. Food was better this time, served quickly and hot. However I feel KFC are complacent as an organisation. Their burgers are, frankly, boring. Chicken, a bit of lettuce and mayo - that's it. No alternatives or creativity on this ageing menu. My Zinger breast piece was smaller than the roll too, so one bite was just bread. KFC need to up their game as all their competitors do chicken burgers too these days.

The service was great here. Shah was super friendly when taking our order and was very quick with processing and giving us the food!

Food not cooked properly and the staff insisting its a marinade inside the chicken. Inside the meat. No comments. No one to talk to there about it too. 😪

My husband popped in for something warm to eat and drink on a very very cold day at lunchtime and was shocked to find that KFC are no longer providing hot drinks. It was freezing outside. 🥶 He was very very disappointed. So it's back to MacDonalds in the High Street next time. KFC you are missing out. Please bring back hot drinks. Even the staff can't get one 😨

I was shocked wen I saw none of the kitchen staff were wearing hair and beard net. They were touching the food with hands then touching screen etc with same hand. No organisation. Definitely staff need training and discipline. Shame big brand with poor representatives.

Popped in for lunch yesterday. Staff behind the counter were pretty disinterested and not particularly friendly or welcoming. Ordered a Zinger meal and a cookie. The burger was lukewarm (even though I ate inside) and to add insult to injury, one third of my cookie was missing!

We ordered through Just Eat, the delivery was wrong - a completely different order for a completely different person. We said to the driver this isn't even our name and he insisted we needed to keep the delivery and ring the restaurant. We called KFC Maidenhead and they said ring Just Eat. We looked at the order and it was placed hours ago and the food was stone cold. You need to be shut down, the staff were unhelpful and glad to wash their hands of us. Hopefully Just Eat give us a refund because right now we're £22 poorer and no dinner. Disgraceful place, we will never use you again.

Ordered various items for friends and delivered all the wrong items. Called the shop to report it and they simply hung the phone up! Not interested! Food was also very average and almost cold! Avoid! MacD much better !

This place is shocking! Ordered food via a delivery app for a whole meal to be missing. When I called they said nothing we can do but offer the missing food if I go in store next time- my son had no dinner but they could not care less. Avoid at all costs we certainly won’t order again.

We have been going to Maidenhead KFC for 10 years since we moved to Maidenhead, but in the last year the food and service is shocking! The chicken pieces are all dry and small. There are ALWAYS items missing from your order whether you go to pick up your order, or use a delivery app. When issues are raised with the staff there is NEVER an apology, just a grunt or a blank stare! On one occasion we actually drove back to the store because we were so fed up of being short changed everytime we went, and the manager had no explanation or apology for what had happened and just handed us what was missing, but now the rest of our order was all cold!! We have switched to MacDonalds because over the course of a year, this has happened EVERYTIME we’v been to KFC, and we used to go at least 3-4 times a month.

Thought i would have a go as first time since lock down and been craving a decent burger for ages. When i got home excited to stuff my face i took one big bite of my burger to find they had given me a zinger tower instead of my fillet tower . Wouldnt be such a problem but due to having gastro enteritis ive now gotta sit in pain instead of loving what was supposed to be a magical kfc experience .. everything else was cold as well which also made me wonder will i go back again .. seriously doubt it

Collected a burger meal and a piece of chicken this evening from Maidenhead KFC (Bridge Avenue) and when I got home, the size of the chicken was pathetically small (about the size of 4 popcorn chicken pieces). Went back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager. All she could tell me was that it was a piece of chicken and I have to accept it. At no point did she offer to rectify the situation with a proper piece of chicken. This is not the first time I have been disappointed with this KFC branch. I wanted to give them another chance, but what chance do they have with a manager who treats her customers with such disrespect!

Thought we would try again to see if we can get a decent meal from KFC. 10 piece bargain bucket was so saturated in grease it burst the bucket and soaked the delivery back so when Just Eat took the sealed delivery bag out the chicken was falling out. Of course no refund for 48 hours from Just Eat so will have to follow up and unsurprisingly KFC aren't picking up the phone. Absolutely rubbish service and for KFC!

I used to like the meals from here but I was very disappointed recently as the chips were saturated with cooking fat. I still enjoyed the chicken pieces though.

This shop does not appreciate its customers,i have visited this place twice in the last 2 weeks and both times it has been closed. The second time it was a weekday evening at 7.40 pm. The shop was closed despite a sign on the door saying open from 11.00 am till 11.00pm. There were 4 customers outside trying to purchase a meal. The staff were behind the counter and looked like they were about to go home.i tapped on the door and asked to speak to them as I wanted to know why they were closed and when they were going to open again,they refused to talk to me. How can you treat customers this way. My advise is don’t bother to go visit this place,

Obviously slow during weekday lunches as chicken was very dry and chips were soggy. Thankfully I'm not local so I won't be missing out by not returning. I just feel sorry for the locals.

Came into KFC after a gym session and the staff were extremely understanding for the need to satiate my protein craving. I was served by Travis who was polite, professional and provided excellent service, he served up some incredibly juicy Chicken and would definitely eat at this KFC again

The staff were not trained properly, I had to explain what food should be in my box. The service was very poor, the tables and floor were dirty, I had to choose a table that I had to clean before I could eat, I had to push food on the floor with my shoes, that or squash it with my shoes. I only get 30 minutes lunch break so with the shop constantly under staffed I am forced to eat there. The last time I ate there I had the same problem of which I left a review, do the owners not read their reviews. If not, get out of the business. I will not eat in this KFC again and will certainly not recommend it to my customers.

KFC has been in Maidenhead a very long time now and there have also been many changes in staff. Whilst that can be a good thing, when you come there more or less regularly and you are used to be greeted with a smile and a blink of recognition, you miss it when new staff come and suddenly and sadly you have become a stranger.......Still very good value though and I doubt KFC will ever lose its popularity. Fingers crossed it will stay this way and we can all continue to enjoy finger licking.........

I rarely go to KFC, but this branch has had no gravy on at least 3 occasions out of the last 6. Avoid - it's the only reason to go to KFC right?

We had vouchers sent from head office as compensation for bad service and incorrect orders from the last time we visited the Maidenhead branch. We decided to give it another go with the vouchers. Firstly we had to wait 30 minutes to get served, then they would only take one voucher (£10 out of the £15). Once we got home we discovered the order was wrong again and had missing items.

Sometimes you just need an easy option. Popped into KFC for fuel between sporting gigs. When I got the order home it was so wrong two meals/5 incorrect spook hot they could not be eaten. The bits that were ok were dry and horrid, with soggy flaccid chips. Usually as a fast food option kfc is ok. Not the Maidenhead branch, yuck yuck yuck.

Worst KFC experience in memory. Warm tasteless food and no BBQ sauce !!! Like a fish and chip shop without vinegar.

KFC should be consistent throughout and wherever u buy! Not here! Cold soggy chips. Rock hard batter coating in chicken. Like warm gravy. Clearly standards have dropped here. Shame.

You don’t expect much from KFC but the service and seating were poor. Servers did not seem to be able to follow the order you placed and served out of turn. Tables were dirty and litter on seats. Not a pleasant experience..

First time visiting since 'chicken gate' (where KFC ran out of chicken) queue was reasonable, however after ordering I had to stand and wait 25 minutes to receive my order but this was only after asking where it was. The one guy called Scott is on another planet, hasn't a clue what he is doing, in saying that none of the staff seem to have a clue. Seriously disorganised and a shambles. Food was average.

Last few times I have been the queue has been back to the door or outside the door. Seems to take an age to get each order ready (and correct the wrong ones) which means you end up waiting for ages before getting something to eat!

Only 2 people in the queue and they took a while to serve. Guys keep on chatting. Terrible service. Doesn't seem like a fast food.

Without doubt the worst KFC I have ever had the misfortune to eat. The chicken was so greasy and the fries were stale. Never again!!

Always a huge queue around standard meal times. Staff mainly seem pretty gormless and slow. Normally a queue of at least 8-10 people with a maximum of 2 staff. Food is standard KFC but let down by service.

AT KFC SLOUGH I had a truly crispy, crunchy meal. HERE I THREW UP VIOLENTLY AFTER CONSUMING JUST ONE MCNUGGET!!!1111!!!!!1!!! wouldn't recommend with a barge poole uneless u are a professional sucky restaurant visitoer.

Genial KFC, bien dirigido, la comida siempre bueno y el personal siempre dispuesto y atento. Este sitio en particular es limpio y ordenado, habiendo tenido el comedor hicieron que más grande, es perfecto para familias. Nunca he tenido una mala comida desde aquí a diferencia de algunos otros lugares de interés.

This was shocking for a kfc chain i don't expect much but this place was bad. unfriendly , miserable staff and the chicken had extra oil and chips cold had to return them. who wants to buy cold chips and then eat it hell NO

Can't fault it really. Decent chicken, usually pretty quick service and the staff are always friendly. You really can't go wrong if you're after a bit of fast food. Not as greasy as some KFC chains are too.

Similar a cualquier otro KFC he sido yo. La comida es rápido y eficiente. Ocasionalmente se pueden correr de un artículo concreto pero compensa con otros.

The service is good and always with a smile. The food tastes great. Good value for money. Only down side is that on the occasional visit, the gravy is not consistant to the original KFC recipe.......

Este siempre ha sido el mejor KFC para mí, pero mes pasado pedí un cubo para la familia y, por primera vez en 2 años el pollo estaba muy seca y dura. Esperamos que cuando me volver , pollo suculentos. Todo lo demás es siempre...

Often busy but fast service, good standardParking sometimes a problem outside. Eat in available. Not many KFCs in area and this is worth seeking out.
