Floors in toilets & restaurant greasy; very slippery. Tables, chairs & toilets needed a clean. 0/10.

We arrived on our way back from a trip. We pulled up & drove around the drive through. The outside bin was over flowing. We were asked to wait at the order box. It was not busy. We had to wait nearly 5 minutes before...

We visited around 10.50pm just before closure. We ordered 6 bits of chicken with 2 chips. They gave us 4 chips and 11 bits with some beans and corn! As it would have been thrown out anyway. All for free. Very generous and we ended...

even hungry we didnt enjoy this food. over done. the order was replaced and just about edible. not a fan.

The KFC is right next to the Travellodge and provided a good place to find something to eat after trip over to the UK from Canada.

Our first ( and last) visit to this particular KFC. Only 3 staff, that we could see on duty. A young male at the front of shop, one on 'Drive Through' and someone cooking. The male staff at front of store kept us waiting a good ten minutes to place our order. We then had a good wait before it arrived although our two drinks had been put on the counter (not a tray) for a good time before our food arrived and we were not told that it was our drinks-they just sat there! We watched the young guy at front of house serve people, then in a few slack moments he .. (1) Emptied the waste bins of discarded food/wrappers and took them outside to place in an overflowing KFC bin with waste all around it. (2) Brought in a wooden child seat from outside. (3) Wiped down several tables with a wet cleaning cloth (4) Brushed the floor and disposed of the waste.(5) He then opened a package of disposable cardboard plates and put them on a shelf.After completing each of these tasks, he was observed NEVER TO WASH HIS HANDS and immediately afterwards he served food to customers ALL WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS. He was NOT wearing gloves or any protection to stop germs/bacteria entering the food products .We could not believe it!I don't know what KFC rules are on covering long hair and beards but the staff member dealing with the Drive Through area was not wearing a hair net or a snood for his beard. However he was drinking from the fizzy drinks dispenser when he felt like it.As for our chicken it was undercooked and the staff member did not give us the two dips per meal that we expected, until we had to ask for them. All the sauces were under the counter i.e. tomato sauce/ BBQ sauce and had to be requested.This was a very unsavoury dining experience, that fell far below the normal high standards of KFC restaurants that we have visited in the past.

Awful....dirty,overflowing bins outside,rubbish all over the floor and think a cleaner and a some new cooks are required.....popcorn chicken like bullets and cold over cooked chips yum!!

Had read reviews saying it was very bad but thought i would give it a try.lot of people inside with five in que ahead of me but service was reasonably quick and was served after about five minutes.waited another few minutes and food was delivered.it was hot and cooked properly so happy with my visit.has a small car park nut does have a drive through as well

Typical KFC franchise - not our preference so we went to Wagtail instead as a personal preference. This fast food eating house is just that for those that want a quick, snack-like fare.

I’ve only given 1 star as it wouldn’t let me leave none. Only 2 staff working, massive wait for dry chicken. If this KFC was a horse it would have been shot.

Hace lo que dice. Sirve pollo frito, lo mismo que todos los demás. Creo que son un poco más conciencia medioambiental, ya que es bastante nuevo, aunque a veces se podía hatch tu propio pollo, crecer y hacer tu propia cena de pollo en menos tiempo. La tienda sólo ha tenido unos personal de trabajo. Nunca ninguna comida alrededor de armarios, así que supongo que está preparado como necesitaba reducir los residuos. Acceso práctico a la salida de la A303 wincanton.

Pretty good example of a KFC in a good position/location. All of the staff I have seen have been more than friendly and the food has always been of a high quality

No hay otros clientes en todo lo que nos cuenta cada vez que pase. La señora que nos fue bien, pero no parecían encantados de trabajar allí. Sentamos a comer fuera. Pollo estaba seco y no disfrutar de la comida, probablemente porque era muy tranquilo. Casi como si hubiese sido allí un rato. No han de volver.

Poor food Staff helpful but not too intelligent They really need to upgrade cleanliness too. Shame because it's in a reasonable location

Es un KFC, así que la comida fue como esperábamos, pero nos tomó 20 minutos de espera en la cola antes de pedir y sólo había 3 grupos antes que yo, dos familias y un par de obreros. Obviamente no tienen suficiente personal, pero esto era ridículo. Creo que la próxima que conduzca a la siguiente KFC a una hora de distancia, ya que probablemente hubiera sido más rápida.

Walking distance from hotel. Modern and clean inside. Service seemed really slow considering they didn't seem that busy. Typical KFC though.

Había una fila de mesas por la ventana que apareció, por lo que mi hijo de 11 años me senté. Un miembro del personal me gritó enojado cruzando el restaurante en él y le dijo a mover porque la zona estaba cerrado. No decir "por favor".Esperamos otro minuto mientras 3 o 4 personal blanqueado en la cocina. A continuación, un miembro de personal vino a servirnos y en vez de darnos algún tipo de bienvenida, ella dijo, y cito: "No es sólo para llevar. Tenemos que cerrar pronto porque de escasez de personal. Bien? "Er, no. Eso no está bien. Primero de todo somos clientes y debe ser recibido con un saludo amable y una sonrisa. En segundo lugar, ninguna disculpa o común de cortesía fue ofrecido. En tercer lugar, su afirmación no tenía sentido alguno: había suficientes mesas sigue abierto para nosotros, así que si tenían suficiente personal para preparar nuestra comida, entonces seguramente tenían personal suficiente para secar la mesa después? El restaurante no estaba lleno, con sólo dos otros comensales. ¿Cuántos empleados son en realidad necesario?Así que aquí está lo que en realidad sucedió: el personal decidió que le gustaría ir a casa temprano, así que hizo una malísima excusa que no cualquier agua, y luego fue descortez para nosotros en la esperanza de que no se pondría en el camino de su casa ir temprano. 'Fast Food'? Crikes I aged twenty years waiting for our order! Massively under staffed, the poor lad was on his own, taking orders, packing orders, pouring drinks, clearing and cleaning tables! Food was good, freshly cooked and hot, just be prepared for a long wait!!

The girl serving us thought everything we said was funny all i wanted was what if any were the specials, it was hard to understand a word she said she was giggling to much in the end couldnt make any sense of her so we walked away never to go back, Plus we were told there was at least a 20 minute wait, and that was with a empty store,! i ask you! Very unfriendly customer service, I don't know where you found this young lady, But you should send her back,! very rude indeed,. !!

Tuvimos una visita tarde noche y la mayoría de la comida estaba bien. Tenía una parte del pedido y algunos de los que falta orden era de piedra fría. Volví esperando un reembolso para el elemento que falta, pero parte dieron un reembolso completo. Contentos con el nivel de servicio una pena el orden.

Que nunca tu orden justo, me refiero a que creo que hubiera alguien que trabaja allí 14 bits podían contar de pollo!Venden pollo rancio que ha sido sentado allí todo el día, el único agradable pollo es a primera hora de la mañana!Además, si pides un cubo que dará todas del mismo tamaño Comparaciã³n cosas nadie quería durante el día, hemos estado aquí varias veces y como digo 8 de cada 10 veces es absolutamente terrible

Super friendly staff at this restaurant which is unusual for this type of outlet. Food was hot and fresh, with the restaurant being kept clean by a young girl also serving on tills.

Llamado en busca de descanso rápido y fácil a nuestro viaje, parece nuevo, no te dejes engañar; aseos muy apestoso, planta sensación pegajosa, en mal estado, falto de todo el lugar, el personal estresado y demasiado ocupados para pagar cualquier servicio más que los labios.No fue una experiencia agradable, evitar.Comida como se espera: mala.

Pretty much your standard KFC, staff work well to give a decent standard of service. Never had a problem here unlike the truly appalling Shaftesbury franchise which I would never use again

Went with family when we moved house and we all had delicious food and service was quick! Especially for a family of 5. The server was very friendly and smiley.

Sí es KFC, no es comida de gourmet, pero no intenta ser. Visita excelente para mí esta noche. El servicio era amable y simpático, el restaurante estaba muy limpio, la comida era pipping caliente y recién hecho. No se puede pedir más cuando gastas menos de 10 libras por una comida.

Me he alojado aquí unas cuantas veces de que me decepcionó. Fuimos a la orden una vez dentro pero el pollo estaba seco y sabía raro. Las otras dos veces que fuimos a través de la y de las dos veces que tuve que ir dentro de la orden sólo tenía un par de cosas que mis amigos y yo habíamos pedido y el personal era muy desagradable acerca de esto. No volveré aquí de nuevo.

Un KFC, stopes en con la esposa, de camino a casa de mi madre, la tarde de apertura son útiles para un bocado rápido para comer, esposa de un plato de arroz, que era un poco seco, que era caliente con patatas fritas tenía chick.

Visitamos el KFC como una solución rápida para algunos para comer. Hemos estado en varias ocasiones, pero no hay nada mejor que la media. La comida estaba bien, pero el servicio es lento y de nuevo las cosas equivocadas dieron a nosotros. El restaurante era sólo parcialmente limpio. No me gusta que él con el gerente, que a la vez rectificado. El gran problema es que uno debe recibir el justo orden primera vez.

Este KFC es en nuestra zona local y nos gusta para prestar apoyo a las empresas locales. Buen servicio eficiente de muy agradable y un personal amable. Restaurante siempre limpia y ordenada.

Will make it short and not very sweet , even though localish we don't call in too often .this time we found the Staff barely interested , the Chicken ( family bucket was luke warm) and really quite soft and squidgy and chewy , never had KFC like this before have they changed the recipe ?. Chips were soft , had to find our own Cups for the bottle of cola. no servietes, no sauces , no straws for the kids, had to ask for everything..Old food on the floor, tables were sticky ? .Then we went to the loo's.... arrgh!! Changing room was locked, had to queue to ask for the key , and we found out why , its was filthy inside.And the other loo's . well ... it!! was everywhere not seen a cleaner in a while .and the floors all sticky again ?.A really bad advert for a Major Food Chain !

We don't have one of these in Guernsey so this is a rare treat for us. We had the bargain bucket which apart from silly little pencil chips was quite delicious.

Visited this restaurant last Saturday for lunch and wish I had keep on driving. The restaurant was filthy, tables laden with rubbish, bins overflowing and toilets that had not been checked or cleaned in about a week I reckon. We decided to eat outside as it was probably cleaner. One member of staff serving on the restaurant side. The staff all stood behind in the kitchen doing nothing or serving the drive though not the restaurant which was busy. It took them about 20 mins to serve us. When we got our food it was cold apart from the beans which were so over cooked was horrible. Chicken was well greasy and cold chips. I wish I had carried on to sparkford to McDonald's. Will not be stopping here again.

Food was not bad although more expensive than i would have expected for such a basic meal. Staff were pleasant but not the kind of place i would want to go to again!

I'm reviewing this as I do stop here occasionally for the odd dirty KFC, and did so recently. However, Wincanton, you should be ashamed that a nice little town like you has the services KFC as number 13 in Trip Advisor!If you are familiar with the KFC format then there is little to say. Whilst the modern day KFC may have dropped the 'Finger lickin' strap line it still holds good, so be ready for a little grease. My rule on eating at a KFC is to embrace the greasiness and go for meat on the bone: the taste is far superior. On this occasion my partner was tempted by the 'Trilogy Boxed Set' which features three different boneless servings and was sorely disappointed. Even though, unlike me, he also had a side - being a choice of gravy, coleslaw or corn.The good thing about this KFC is its handiness. It crops up just as you are getting peckish on the journey from Exeter to London, and encourages you to skip stopping off at McD's!

Came with family, took 20 mins to get served and waited 30 mins for foo only to be told they had lost my order! Explaining that to s 5 year old is easy, this said the staff seemed pleased as they were all laughing! Avoid Avoid . Avoid!

This is one of our favourite places to eat. we are always met with a warm welcome. The food was piping hot with chrispy chips and the chicken was cooked to perfection as always.

I would not normally leave a review on a fast food chain, but have to say that the staff at this KFC were very attentive, the food was really good, fresh and hot!

Returning from Plymouth to Wiltshire yesterday evening, called in at KFC around 7.00pm. Good time to eat - not crowded, easy to park (often a problem in their cramped car park) and food well prepared. Recommended.
