KFC in Thurrock

This is the 3rd time i have been there in last couple of Months and the service i have to say is terrible. it took them 20 Mins overall to take my receipt to the counter that i got from the machine and then serve me what i wanted and even then got one of them wrong {gave me two hot wings instead of the 3 i ordered}, and other 2 times i wanted a Variety meal and the woman behind the counter said because it wasn't on there machines i couldn't have one, but then when supervisor came after 10 Minutes of arguing , finally ordered one for me. Thinking of not going there again, shame is the branch in Aldgate , London is pretty good, but this lot are inept and basically shocking

This little KFC used to be nice with great staff ad really friendly bunch of people working there. Now the staff and management have changed they are rude, slow and always get your order wrong. They also do not like serving you at the till and direct you over to a self serve machine that they now have here. I don't mind using the machines but when you have a QR code that needs to be used at the till they get very funny and rude with customers. Poor quality and poor service and rude staff

Crap rubbish time waisting should of gone to lakeside cold food late anything else contact me discusting my dog eat better than that rubbish no wonder McDonald's beat you on everything kind regards francis carline

Manager Ali can speak only a little English. He says when coming his staff get training but in the job no training for staff. I actually raised a complaint about there is a need of improvements of staff communication towards the general public. Deputy manager says she is not aware of promotion called Arcade. I am a regular customer and I am fully aware what is Arcade means. How come she is a Deputy manager if she is not aware of the business she is working for? The staff at Grays branch are always so rude to regular customers. Is there anyway we could improve our Grays local kfc restaurant?

It is what you expect from KFC. Freshly cooked and tasty. Gets quite busy as its small inside. With the mobile app some decent deals

its a bit hit and miss with this KFC, we order online and most times the food isnt very fresh and chips are almost non existent, when challenged the restaurant say you have to take it up with delivery app company which is tiresome as they will refund delivery but not your cold meal that isnt fresh!! maybe better to buy from in the shop where you could take it back if it wasnt up to scratch.

Ordered delivery and food came 15 minutes later than stated, food was freezing cold and disgusting with 8 hot wings missing. Called up the store to someone who couldn’t speak English and refused to pass me to the manager to discuss a refund or another delivery. Phone call was ended by them and when stated the consumer rights act he couldn’t understand. Disgusting behaviour

Went in for a takeaway with the family got home and see my breast of chicken and was disgusted how they could give me that as part of my meal. Paying nearly £8 for a meal and end up with this piece of crap

Went in for a take away meal for two with one drink ordered. The meal was find but the pepsi was absolutely disgusting, none of the three of us could taste pepsi it was just revolting washing up liquid, going by the reviews here, they don't care anyway :(

Called in, although there was a bit of a queue, decided to join it, but wished I had gone somewhere else, a few staff milling around, like headless chickens, and not really doing a lot, as you came in, was a mess, and there wasn't a clean or wiped table in the restaurant, the lady in charge, god knows why, had no control, eventually reaching the front of the queue, I ordered my food, I cleared a table, to try to enjoy it, but it was cold, you just wouldn't have believed it would you, I will not go back ever again

dont go in around230pm! 9 visiable staff 1 serving and one very rude girl getting orders! 9 people ahead of me the team leader just looked at q had no idea what was going on! dirty as you walk in and 20 min wait for order then you have to stand and wait for your order with about 12 other orders and not done in any order 15 mins got my food from the happy girl that made the orders up! the poor little girl who was ahead of me only had a chicken burger asked how long and the girl started having a go at her. when to table area with my food and it was dirty on evety table can the staff who were standing around not wipe a table down? lucky I got 6 wipes think extra are so you can do there job! open the food the chips were hard and the chicken 3 piece well Ive never seen a small amount of chicken the pidgeons out side had more meat on them!! and then they were dry should of took back but the q was much worse at this time and tjey were about 20 people waiting on orders sort it out KFC you need to go back to how KFC was in the 80s and 90s whenbwe all loved going! Grays store absimal and defo avoid!!!!

This is the slowest KFC i have ever been in it might be because they started doing deliveries and this mucks up the counter service as they are trying to do a lot more orders with the same amount of staff

Found this not one of the best KFC's around. Chips were warm and need to be hot. Staff rushed and not very friendly

On my way to London I got around them by going for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

Grimy and in need of a good clean. The food was pretty poor. Chicken greasy and this is the second time of visiting (I thought it might get better!) and i have returned home to find i got two pieces of chicken instead of three! Chips cold and tasted like they had been standing for a while. Think i will give it a miss from now on and eat somewhere else...

Well I ordered on Just Eat and had a home delivery and the food was great. It was hot and fresh and good value for mony

The fries are always cold, mainly because they put them in bags when you order even if the rest is not ready so they sit and wait, I have made them remake a lot of times

El servicio era muy lento, el gerente sobrepase mi pedido y otros pueblos, todas las tablas con bandejas grasienta y sucia a la izquierda, la papelera estaba a rebosar y parecía un estado, el lugar estaba lleno de un colegio. No es un lugar para llevar a los niños pequeños. Ciertamente no regresaría de nuevo y definitivamente no lo recomiendo!

Staff can be a bit more friendly, and for some reason the food dont taste the same. But you need a bucket on movie nights......................

this was my everyday place when i was in london , the food is good like most kfc , but...

KFC ok ,but the shop outside is full of litter, so is the town And the streets , KFC littered everywhere. You need to get your staff to keep at least litter free outside your shop , And put Bins for your rubbish!!!!

This is one KFC that I ardently avoid. The tables are always dirty, the staff lazy and the food inedible.

KFC’s are usually clean but this place is very grubby. The service is very slow – there seems to be a lot of staff but most people, despite almost all the food being there already, seem to have to wait considerably longer than most other fast food restaurants of this ilk. The person who served me last time had an extremely poor grasp of English and I had to repeat myself over and over, plus she was constantly being helped by other member of staffed that slowed things for everyone even more. Get home, two portions of chips are missing, the gravy is cold, the corn is as dry as a bone and tastes like it has been there all day, and the chicken seems greasier than you would ever expect from a KFC.Overall, please don’t waste your time and your money, very poor in every way possible..

This KFC needs a good clean. The floor were horrible with food on and need a good wash. Floors were wet with drink and slippery. The tables felt dirty. The toilets were disgusting. Bins were overflowing.

Visited with my wife on Friday evening whilst waiting to collect our son from one of his clubs. Ordered a double fillet meal and a normal fillet meal. THey gave us everything except the regular fillet burger and said it would be five minutes and they would bring it round to our table. Ten minutes later and I went to chase it up to be told "Oh look, it has just arrived." - Pull the other one it's got chicken nuggets on it. Looks like it'll be Burger King on our next visit

What can I say about a KFC well this one in grays is dirty, staff are rude and you feel like you are going to get stabbed if you go here anytime past 8pm from the locals that's hang around outside. The manager here does not care at all and would never give KFC grays the time of day again

This is an average KFC and food, service and seating are all sadly average. Not much else I can say really - had lunch here once...

14 piece bargain bucket had 7 drumsticks!!!Food was cold after and it was only a short drive home. Really disgusted with overall visit there.

Visit here regularly on behalf of my son. The food is typical KFC but the speed of service is invariably pretty shocking

At the end of the day all KFC's are pretty much the same - the food is standardised across the franchise so there is very little to differentiate one from another.However, the service here is slower than average although it is still delivered with a smile and helpful attitude.Difficult to get a seat when busy but overall this is somewhere that i return to whenever i get that chicken craving

The best kfc I've had in a long time. The food was made in front of me and was made quickly. The zinger tower is honestly the greatest!

Went there on the off chance with my husband after Christmas shopping,it was really busy,but the queue was served quite quickly, ordered a bucket meal.and ate in, tables were a mess, and so was the floor,to be fair, the food was okay, but not very hot, glad we didn't have a takeaway, as it would have been stone cold, staff were pleasant, not sure if I would go back,I suppose you get what you pay for.

KFC in grays is located in the high street. It's a nice looking branch with smiley staff. I have eaten here many times, both in and takeaway. The other day I had the big daddy box meal, huge chicken burger, with hash brown, I asked for no bacon, extra mayo- done perfectly. Also came with fries, a piece of chicken and a large diet Pepsi. Wife had the same, but could finish her burger as it was huuuuge!Thankfully, I finished it off for her. Burger was succulent, freshly made and huge. Fries were crispy. Drink chilled and chicken yummy. The staff are very well versed with their menu and are very helpful if you are not sure what to order. Restaurant is very clean and pleasant looking. Happy all round.

Popped in for a quick meal, I asked for a 3 piece variety meal and specifically asked that I had no legs, well guess what I got? 3 legs. I returned the chicken and noticed they put it back on the hot shelf to re-sell! What if I had my fingers all over it before I returned it. Absolute filth and against the law. They need shutting down the hygiene is a disgrace. When I complained to KFC direct I got no correspondence at all. Sham of a company.

I visited this fast food for a take-away after a long shift at work. When I got home my food was cold, my hot wings were missing, the sandwich was falling apart and the chips must have been sitting there all evening. I was very disappointed. If you pay for a take-way you trust then to put into the bag what you paid for. If however you do decided to go there check the content of you bag before you leave. I personally will NEVER go back there!

What is there to say about a KFC? This particular place leaves just a memory of depressed looking staff lacking motivation and bad tasting food followed by a dodgy tummy the next day.

Don't consider visiting this fast food outlet if you don't want to wait. Food okay,as it is with all KFC's but the service really does need to get off the starting block.

I visited this Fast food outlet in early January for a quick snack. Food was hot and tasty. Pity the tables were dirty and the rubbish bin was full. It was 20 minutes before tables were cleared and rubbish bin emptied. Tables where still not wiped clean before I left .
