Thank you to Keyasham for hosting my friends and I for a tasty, filling and completely vegan dinner! The restaurant catered to all our requirements and we had a wonderful time. See you soon!

Booked a big meal on its website, and paid for it, but the meal did not arrive by ordered time. As we were only a short distance away I went to the restaurant only to find it had changed its name and was shut until further notice. I was able to order from another Indian restaurant but we ate late. I did get my money back but it took 3 days. Why couldn’t they have put a notice on their website or even cancelled the ordering process?

Not sure whats happening here, but now goes by the name of Spice Lounge. Went on saturday night with friends, we were the only table occupied. I can understand why! My wife ordered the Flaming Seabass as it had good reviews, what she got was a type of fish stew? When she queried it they said, sorry we haven't got any Seabass. They then offered her another dish, which when it arrived was not what she had ordered. Some of the food was quite tasty, but they need to get their act together.

I placed an order online on a Saturday at 6.23pm. (The website says it’ll take around 45 minutes - not a problem for me) It got to 7.15pm and I was getting a little anxious as I only live less than two miles from the restaurant. I rang them and they said they only received the order 5 minutes ago and will take at least another 25 minutes! He did apologise but it wasn’t really good enough to be honest. The food eventually arrived at 7.45pm. I only ordered a few starters, one main, one rice dish! When the driver came, he said I had to pay in cash even though I had already paid online. (More poor miscommunication) he had to ring the restaurant and check with them. The food was ok. I wasn’t particularly impressed with any of it if I’m honest. All in all, a very disappointing experience as I had previously heard positive reviews. Shame

Had an unbelievable dinner at Keyasham with a few friends. The quality of the food was outstanding and service was amazing. The price is very reasonable. The seafood in particular is something i will never forget as it holds a spectacular flavour. 100% recommend Keyasham!

We visited as a group of six for my birthday celebration in December. We were initially a little concerned about the recent reviews of a party that had received bad service, but this appears to have been a one-off and should probably be taken with a pinch of salt. The service that we received was exemplary, the waiter always had a smile, was attentive to all our requests and was very professional and helpful. Our only “criticism” of our previous visit has been resolved and now the walls are adorned with some very nice artwork which really adds to the ambience. The food is still incredible, tasting very fresh with bags of flavour. The naan breads are exceptional. We ordered a large variety of different dishes and everyone remarked at how good each one was. I can still whole heartedly recommend this restaurant without any reservation. It is still the best Indian restaurant in the area and we will definitely be back soon.

Unfortunately, this restaurant really let itself down on service. The food, when it finally arrived, was good. The service was unapologetically slow with takeaway orders prioritised over diners. Our group of four waited an hour for our starter. I rarely leave a restaurant without tipping but made an exception this time. It may come good if they can sort out their staffing.

4 of us visited today to try out this restaurant booked for 7.30 and there was one other table for 2 and another of 4 people. One man was serving us all and we waited for well over an hour for our starter. The table for 4 was fed first and the other table of 2 eventually had their starter followed by a long wait for main course. At last we were given our starters and then much later (and after considerable dissatisfied chat with the neighbouring table) our main course arrived. During this period another couple came in and walked straight out. The telephone rang with take away orders, which were prioritised over the unhappy diners in the restaurant. Two other people came in for take away and were served first. The food was very good when it arrived, however 3 hours to complete a 2 course meal is totally unacceptable and we will not be eating there again; neither will the other people. The lady at the other table complained about the delay and was told they were short staffed. Our bill included an additional beer, possibly due to the waiter being distracted by the other customers who came in and left. At no point was an apology given or an offer of a free liqueur. At least we all had a long and cheerful conversation to while away the time.

New Indian restaurant opened in Cheam - absolutely delicious food with excellent customer service. The staff made us feel at home and as an Asian family, we have rarely felt impressed by Indian food as the taste can be relatively similar across all restaurants however the Indian food at Keyasham was sublime. Great portion sizes and outstanding customer service - this hidden gem is worth visiting! Highly recommend to order the Hash Shuganda (Creamy Coconut Duck Curry), Lamb Shank or the Special Biryani. My dad ordered the vegetable thali which he enjoyed as a low fattening dish to my brother enjoying the Tikka Massala & Pasanda with Paneer Naan. I will definitely return and order the Special Duck curry, memorable dinner with the family!

I have had takeaway and eaten it, can’t complain about either. We were the only people eating in which is a shame as it was lovely, had a mix of dishes, chicken tikka and lamb tikka, both came on a bed of fried onions and a chicken shashlick (spelling?) which came with nice amount of peppers & onion. Mushroom rice, poppadoms, onion bhaji, mush bhaji and cauliflower, all tasty and fresh, we ate the lot. Service was good and discrete despite the fact we were the only ones in there. Nice wine and a complimentary drink at the end. You should try it out.

Visited on their opening weekend, pretty hard to fault. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable and guided us to ordering some exceptional food. The popadoms and accompanying dips and chutneys are exceptional, something that you would not normally pass any comment on until you get really good ones like these. The main dishes, rice and breads were all outstanding and the best we have had in the area for a very long time. The wine list is concise but hits all tastes with some very good wines. The Malbec we ordered was very smooth with bags of flavour and paired with the food marvellously. The only small reservation that we had was the decor, it looked a bit Spartan, but after talking to the owners it transpired that they were let down by a supplier for their wall art at the last minute and didn't meet the opening deadline. We have been hunting for a new Indian restaurant for several months now and it looks like w have found it on our very doorstep. Excellent and highly recommended.

Have not been here in a while as had a bad meal some time ago. Decided to give it a try again and wow I'm glad i did. 4 of us went and everyone loved their food. My mixed grill was especially delicious. Service was great very friendly wait staff and customised an item for my friend as after it arrived was too hot. Nothing was too much trouble and prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back again.

We booked The Grange to celebrate my friend’s baby shower as it was close to her house. The online booking process was quick and easy. We arrived at 2:20 for our 2:30 booking so that we could put up some decorations. On arrival we were told that we had to order by 2:45 as the kitchen was closing. Surely this should have been told to us at booking. So we ordered a range of Indian starters and mains without the main guest present as we had told her to arrive between 2:45-3:00. The food was amazing. We ordered Mogo fries, chilli paneer, lamb samosa, sheekh kebab, butter naan, pilal rice, goan lamb curry, Bombay potato, canna masala and chicken tikka masala. After clearing our plates the waitress bought out the cake my friend had made. After eating the cake we were asked to leave as the restaurant had to set up for the evening. This was about 4:40, when we were told it closes at 5. Amazing food but terrible service.

We went for the Sunday buffet with a few friends. Whilst the service was great the food was mediocre and only just warm , despite us being there early. It is a shame but I can understand why there were so few people there. Sorry but not for me
