I haven’t been to this restaurant for quite a while, probably since before COVID. I’m glad I stopped by for a Sunday lunch. I ordered a mixed shish which came with a few complimentary small dishes. It was very nice and came with rice and a fresh and tasty salad. I’ll visit again for sure.

Great restaurant: excellent cuisine, copious dishes, pleasant staff, impeccable cleanliness and reasonable prices... That says it all! To do again during our next stay

This restaurant is full of surprises. We ended up there for lunch and needless to say we were amazed by the authenticity of the food. The lunch menu is at £9.99 for a starter and a main. As starters, we got the shaksuka and the cacık. We got bread on the house. We had the lamb beyti and the chicken wings and they both came with salad and a mix of rice and bulgur. The lamb köfte was just so tender! This is the cheapest I have seen by far. So I did not have much expectations. But the service was impeccable. The food was fresh and the portion were really good. The taste was spot on! I would highly recommend you give this restaurant a go if you can.

Awful. Driver didn't show up with our food. Called the restaurant who gave us a boodge (fake) number to contact the driver. Restaurant wouldn't replace the food despite paying over £40. Do not order from a restaurant that has no scruples or morals and will let you starve. Customer service is utterly abysmal. Man on the phone wouldn't listen to a word I said even when I offered to WALK to collect the food (let him tell it he didn't have a driver). Honestly absolute waste of time and money. So. 5th April 2024 and my delivery driver can't read instructions apparently and the restaurant STILL doesn't take ANY responsibility for missing orders. I hope this place burns to the ground tbh. Awful awful awful service. Absolutely NO help. Useless

Children changed Resturant booking last min for Mother’s Day. Kervansaray were extremely accommodating to the requirements. Despite being overbooked managed to seat us on one of the best tables. Fantastic service, attention paid to both presentation and taste. The food was aesthetically pleasing & mouth watering delicious. Highly recommend the hot mezze, lamb liver, mussakka, chops and sharing platter. Authentic Turkish cuisine in a family oriented setting.

I come here with my friend today. We ordered a set meal for two people for £50. Please note this does not include Hummus, you will need to pay extra. Other than this food was average, not good value for money and overpriced. I had the waitress remove the service charge, The waitress was rude when bringing over the amended bill. I don’t recommend this restaurant

Amazing Turkish Food! After coming back from Antayla, Turkey. I looked around for nice Turkish restaurants and found this one. Beautiful inside, service 10/10. Have seen some negative reviews beforehand but my experience here was really good, nothing to complain about. Food was lovely. Defiantly will be coming back again.

Waitress and food was perfect, best service I’ve as always Best authentic Turkish food!! What can I say absolutely I will give this restaurant a five star to attend star as the food is fantastic and the staff are fantastic. Nice Waitress, Disappointing Incident and Average Food ⭐⭐☆☆☆ During my recent visit to Kervansaray, the waitress was incredibly kind and friendly. However, a regrettable incident occurred when a customer began physically assaulting his girlfriend, and none of the staff reacted, which was disappointing. The food was okay, but it lacked that extraordinary taste.

Wow, what an unexpected delight. The food here is amazing. Had to forcibly stop myself filling on the fresh bread. Had the lunchtime two courses offer - fantastic value. The veggie moussaka was one of my favourite things ever! My partner loved the Turkish sausage. Staff were lovely and the velvet interior makes me want to revisit in the evening. xxx

Fantastic food every time. I’ve had takeaway from here and have eaten in the restaurant on many occasions. Every time the food and service are exceptional. This time we had the mixed kebab again and the meat was nicely marinated and seasoned. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Very nicely decorated place but the shisha isn’t great and it’s extremely loud, plus music gets played loudly making it difficult to have a conversation.

I have been here twice now and I came here recently with a lot of colleagues for a dinner and it was absolutely amazing, the food was delicious and on time, we weren't left waiting long for anything at all. It was a bit difficult at first to get us all seated as there was a large number of us, but the staff were so accommodating and moved around some tables and chairs for us. I've been to a lot of Turkish restaurants and the food here is of great standard.

Went Saturday very bad food terrible and unfortunately we could not eat it Had to have a tea to wash the grease away then left Waste of money Also staff need to be a little more on the ball NOT sitting down chatting to each other

food was ok but i ordered lambs liver which was grilled came with cold raw onions the liver was dry so asked the waitress if she could ask the chef if he could fry me so.e onions and I'll pay extra she just totally blanked me and said no with out even asking the chef which disappointed me so won't be going there again if I asked the other waitress she night of helped but this one didn't care about her customers my son enjoyed his food I've been a chef for 35 yrs and I go way beyond to please my customers

That's the only local Turkish restaurant in Waltham Cross, nice and polite staff, nice atmosphere, sometimes can be busy tho, nice Turkish tea, everytime we go we get nice fresh food.

Abbiamo mangiato un'ottima carne della cucina tradizionale turca. - Shaksuka Thin slices of aubergine, potato, tomato sauce, onion & pepper (Fette sottili di melanzane, patate, salsa di pomodoro, cipolla e pepe - Humus Crushed chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice and garlic (Ceci schiacciati, tahin, succo di limone e aglio) - Chicken Shish with Rice and Bulgur Marinated breast of chicken grilled on charcoal (Petto di pollo marinato alla brace) - Adana Kofte with Rice and Bulgur Skewered minced lamb grilled on charcoal (Agnello tritato allo spiedo grigliato su carbone di legna)

Food and staff were lovely. Setting was nice and clean. It's just a little noisey, atmospherics But I have a hearing problem, and things can sound noisey

So happy to have a restaurant like Kervan Saray locally, the food quality is amazing especially the lamb chops and shish which is unreal, but there are so many great choices available…and not to forget the bread and mezes. The portions are large and the food presentation is immaculate.. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with great furnishing and ambience you really will feel welcomed. Fantastic staff and chefs who are always friendly definitely a restaurant worth visiting, the best in the area😍💯

Very nice Turkish restaurant. Very modern and clean interior.

Ordered a mixed platter and 2 tap waters, when we wanted a refill of water. The boss of the restaurant criticised us for having tap water rather than a different drink. Would not return, appalling way to treat customers. When I mentioned it to one of the waitresses she profusely apologised and was very kind. Such a shame the owner is so rude!

Do not go here if you are booking a large booking. Booked a table for 25 people when we all arrived they only showed us a table for 16 people it took the reminder of the people standing to say what’s going on it’s meant to be for 25 people to then show us the other 2 tables was for us so we wasn’t all seated together. Was there over an hour with plenty of people coming in after us no bread or salad or dips like they usually give but every other table was given this. Has to go up and say what’s going on we have been here over an hour and all that’s happened is a drinks order for the waitress to say it’s because they was so busy which I told them so why has every other table been served and is now receiving their mains but we are sitting here with just drinks it’s not good enough, after this they shortly brought just bread and dips out and the mains. My nan ordered the sea bream which was full of bones and very salty to which she did not enjoy. The manager also kept going up to the younger kids asking them to leave as they wasn’t eating which was they was so we had to tell him to leave them alone. Do not go here for a large group booking this was such an awful experience

So far, the best Turkish restaurant in the area for me. It is not too noisy, reasonable in portion/price/service.

Very nice restaurant that our party of four visited Saturday lunchtime. Main course was recommended by our waiter Aydin which was excellent. We enjoyed our meal and drinks thoroughly. We've been before and never been disappointed.

Great establishment, from the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiling faces and a friendly attitude (this lasted the whole time we were there) the staff couldn't be more helpful with anything we wanted, the food was brilliant and the experience was better than any other restaurant we have been to in the past couple of years. Just a want to acknowledge this as it is hard to come by these days.

Could not praise the service and food enough. Such a lovely meal & the waitresses were so kind & helpful. Would 100% go back again!

We arrived for dinner approx 9pm on a saturday evening The restaurant wasn't busy , we ordered our drinks then our starters and mains approx 9.30pm. The waitress informed us about 15mins later that our starters and mains were ready and were going to be arriving together as the kitchen was now closed. We sat and ate our starters with our mains placed at the side of us going cold. If we were informed when ordering that the kitchen was closing we would not have ordered starters. It was a Saturday night at 9.30pm not a Monday night! Obviously the chef was in a hurry to get home. We had a very rushed experience at a cost of £75. Most of the food we had to take home. Terrible experience and a complete waste of money. We not be visiting again.
