This was such a find. We happened to be here on business and had make excellent time so we had arrived nearly an hour earlier than the orginal satnav timing had suggested. We thought a nice cup of tea would idle that time away. Instead we found ourselves eating some really loves pastries and cakes, washed down by really well made tea. The feel of the place was such that we were engaged in really friendly conversation with both staff and customers. The telling thing was that we found ourselves late for our meeting and are now finding excuses to return here!

In these uncertain times Kerry's Tea Room has certainly stepped up to the mark. My partner's children got together to arrange a delivery of afternoon tea for their mum on mother's day. Beautifully presented and delicious. I'll definitely be ordering again and will visit once the tea room actually opens "normally" once more

I ordered a celebration birthday tea for my brother in law and his wife having found Kerry's on the internet. The response was excellent and delivery bang on time and as promised. Recipients were delighted. Service was very friendly and the prices were more than competitive. Thank you Kerry. I would have no hesitation in using them again. Looking for an excuse.

It’s been a while since I have used this cafe due to lockdown. I usually have Eggs Benedict but they have stopped doing cooked meals at the moment. My friend and I had sandwiches. I had egg mayonnaise, onion and tomato which was lovely and my friend had smoked salmon and cream cheese which he really enjoyed. He said the cheese was high quality. The prices continue to be very reasonable and the staff lovely

I visited Kerry's for lunch and had quiche with salad and baked potato then caramel ice cream sundae. After those I felt pleasantly sated. However there were a couple of issues. Both the quiche slice and the baked potato had been kept too hot for too long. The quiche had dried out somewhat, spoiling the texture and taste. The potato had acquired a soap like consistency. The venue and service were quite good though. I was amused to find that even though I retired quite a few years ago, I was the youngest client in there by some margin and they all knew each other by first name! To summarise, the current overall rating of Kerry's on TA is 4.5 stars. The current true rating (today) is not even close, but just a couple of changes of procedure in the kitchen should raise the (true) rating back to around 4 stars. Rating for food today is 5/10.

I went for the celebration afternoon tea with two others, Kerry's tea room offer the afternoon tea in a gluten free version with no additional costs. All food served was freshly made and was very nice. If you wanted more water, butter instead of cream they were very accomodating. The service was excellent, very polite, home from home and friendly. I will return there very soon.

My husband and I called in for afternoon tea while visiting East Preston. We were made very welcome and our order was taken immediately. My Earl Grey and coffee cake arrived very quickly and were delicious. My husband enjoyed his cream tea - and he’s a very tough customer to please, so quite an achievement there! The portions were generous and the lady serving us was very pleasant. If we are in the area again I would love to return.

I was buying a property in the area and had to pick up keys from the agent next door. I decided to go for a bite to eat and am so glad I popped in to Kerry's. A real delight, lovely people who obviously knew many of the customers in there and greeted them as old friends. Attentive service and then the food. I was just going to have a sandwich but was tempted by the smoked salmon and prawn salad. Thank goodness I was. It was really good and fresh salad with homemade coleslaw. Yummy. O.K. I was then tempted again by the homemade cakes and puddings and indulged myself again!. This little tea-room should be an example to others of what can be done if you just make the effort!!. Thank goodness I don't live close by as my waistline would expand quickly. Having said that whenever I am in the area I shall certainly pop in and would recommend it to anyone who likes honest good food and service. Well done Kerry and the 'girls'.

We were running around the East Preston area looking at flats. It was a cold wet day and we were feeling a little dismal.Having parked on Sea Road in East Preston we looked around for a shelter to have coffee.. there seemed to be nothing... Then I spotted a young lady walking along... I asked if she knew anywhere nice that we could have a good cup of coffee... Fortunately for us, she worked at Kerry's Tea Room.... we would definitely have missed it otherwise...So we were able to relax enjoy a refreshing cup of fresh coffee and even treated ourselves to some delicious home made cheese scones!THANK YOU!!!

What a lovely surprise to find Kerry's Tea Room - full of character, you feel you could be in someone's sitting room having tea!Kerry, the owner, was cooking and serving when we popped in - a warm welcome from her and as she busied herself with others you could tell that many regulars all pop in for a cuppa!Everything is homemade and the array of cakes were lovely - we opted for the cream tea and were not disappointed - the scones were so good that we ordered more! There is a section for children's pottery painting which seemed quite popular judging by the amount of finished items on display and Kerry does also outside catering which judging from the food in her tea room, would be really good.Well worth stopping by for a meal or a cuppa - you would be welcome for either!

We stayed and ate in the evening with them. Our room was beautiful, lovely linen, and towels a really calm space! Yes it is in the centre of Arundel but we were surprised by how little we could hear traffic. We had a cheeseboard and beautiful salami’s beautifully served, we were told where everything was from, lovely wines to choose from, they certainly exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back, run by a really lovely couple. Breakfast was continental but again locally sourced and first class

Went with 7 of my family and chose the carvery option. The whole meal was dry and tasteless. The pork was chewy, potatoes dry and the veg was extremely tasteless Since eating there I have read more reviews that say the same. The gravy boat need to read their reviews and up their game, as I for one, will not be going back. Shame, as it was very good when it first opened.
