To say that our experience was a pleasure would be an understatement! From the moment we walked through the door, to leaving, we were treated like royalty. The service was impeccable and the food, sublime! Every mouthful was an utter delight. We were regularly checked on by all staff, but in particular were made to feel beyond welcome by the assistant restaurant manager, who went out of her way to give us a small treat at the end of our meal - which was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend the lamb and (although I would never have thought I would say this) the gem lettuce salad with salad cream. In addition, the recommended strawberry soufflé for dessert was a taste sensation. We will be going back 100%!

The reception and bar were the most disappointing - having to wait for a seat, searching for staff, waiting to catch someone’s attention to get drinks, then order not written down and the need to come back and check what we had ordered - the drinks came and one glass had syrup all down the outside and when told they did nothing about it - they were busy and it showed - took the edge off Service overall poor, training appears lacking or not complete Food was good and tasty although balance and poor choice of vegetables could be improved for the high end price being paid epitomised by £7 for a bottle of water Came away underwhelmed and no real desire to return

Venue is amazing, me and my family are staying in the hotel and we couldn’t be happier. Walking in it’s as if it’s a Tardis from doctor who ! Completely different from the rest of the hotel which I love. I dined yesterday. Our host Lora was amazing she really made our experience 100/10 so much so we are going back today to try her recommendation of the fish and chips. Hopefully we will see her again to tell her how wonderful she is. Food was amazing as were the cocktails we would recommend the chefs larder it was cooked to perfection. Kerridges is a 10/10 for us. We will be back!

What an amazing experience at Kerridges Bar and Grill! I took my sister for her 40th Birthday celebrations and from beginning to end the whole experience was amazing! The food exceeded my expectations, I really enjoyed the treacle bread to which I was given the recipe and the steak was the best steak I have ever tasted, full of flavour and so tender. I also really enjoyed the cocktails, I didn't think I would like Oregano in a drink but it really worked! I would like to give a special shout out to DC who looked after us on the night, the service from her was outstanding and I thank her for making our night and my sisters birthday so special. She even gave us a signed cookbook and a fresh loaf to take home, thankyou so much we will be back 😊

I went once before and it was great. Went again with family and was completely ignored for half of the evening. For about an hour we couldn't find anyone and once we did and asked for more water, it never came. Sour taste in the mouth, since the food is quite good.

We ate at kerriages on Saturday night and had such a lovely time. The waitress was very polite and informative. The food was delicious, at the end of the evening i commented on how i enjoyed the treacle bread and our waitress gave me the recipe. I highly recommend a visit to kerriages.

Located in the luxurious & posh CORINTHIA hotel. Fine dining dining at it's BEST! (Classy but Comfortable). Our start was with their champagne cart .... Their start: A Chef's amuse-bouche followed by a tasty bread service (& the BEST butter 😋 EVER!). If your choice is beef ask to be escorted & shown the chef's larder, you'll be impressed. Choices & selections vary as their cuts are carefully sourced. Our night we choose the grass fed, bone-in sirloin which came on the table pre-cut. It was extremely tender but w/ enough substance, amazingly juicy, cooked to perfection & the flavor was wonderful: a blend of fields & richness! THEN moving on the the lobster thermador. I always try this entree when I c it. "Here" it was fabulous. It was nicely seasoned w/ a perfect touch of well balanced creaminess, w/o being lost in structure. The mix was reshelled & topped with a herbs & garnish for interest. We skipped dessert bc we had other plans, but I was tempted for to try their chocolate & orange thingy. The service was quick. Only slight mistep was a cocktail ordered might have had a mixup @ the bar, that was quickly and graciously solved.

I always wanted to try Tom Kerridges restaurant, the food on his menus seemed very appealing. My Wife and I decided to treat ourselves, I must say I was let down. The decor and cleanliness was good but the music was too loud, we could barely hear eachother talk. The food was ok but overall I was sadly underwhelmed. The triple cooked chips that I had heard so much about were too hard, not soft and fluffy inside and they very very salty. The pork belly had some gristle in it, for the price of this cut I would expect no gristle. The pea and ricotta salad had too much ricotta cheese that took away the freshness, it wasn't balanced. The rest of the food was just ok, no wow factor. The service was not what I expected for the price you pay. The wine connoisseur that I asked a recommendation for a bottle of red that is smooth and not too vinegary recommended one to me that was still very vinegary and wasn't that smooth at all. The woman who brought the bread and a little sample of something at the start was so quiet when she was explaining what it was, we didn't understand anything, she was also explaining it to my Wife and had her back to me so I heard even less. Another woman came to top my water up but forgot about my Wife, her glass was pretty much empty. I will say on a positive note the guy who took our food order was very attentive and very warm. He did ask me after serving the mains if everything was alright at which point I had only just started tucking in and hadn't tried the chips yet so I said yes. Unfortunately nobody asked us at any point later what we thought of the food, otherwise I might not have needed to have posted the comments on here. We will not be returning to this restaurant I'm afraid.

I was delighted to be invited here for lunch by a friend - and what an outstanding lunch it was! The rib-eye steak was quite likely the best I have ever tasted: it was perfectly cooked medium rare and the flavour was sensational. My friend's meal of ox-cheek drew similar compliments. I have been to Kerridges a couple of times recently and I continue to be impressed by the excellence of the service: the wait-staff are genuinely charming and attentive. Beautiful surroundings, too. A wonderful place for a special meal!

Great fish cod and lemon sole) - my Roasted Celeriac Soup, Bramley Apple starter was perfect after a cold walk. The South African Syrah was perfect for the meal. Biggest drawback was the music - 80’s mix at a loud volume was not conducive to conversation.

Some friends and I visited Kerridge's in Corinthia London, and we got off to a good start—the staff greeted us with a smile, the cocktails were among the best we've ever had, and the wine deserved a medal. Unfortunately, that's where the magic stopped. The pork belly, according to my friend, was "the worst of her life"—a big deal considering how much she's already spent her life eating. The steak was overdone (and not in a good way), the mashed potatoes looked like they came straight from a Sainsbury's Basics packet, and the meat dish was missing the sauce—because for some reason, it seems the gravy ladle was forgotten in the kitchen. For the price of almost £500, we expected something more than "fine dining" that leaves you thirsty for another drink to forget the experience. If you're looking for a culinary experience that will leave you with questions and a lighter wallet, then Kerridge's is the perfect place!

The food here is AMAZING! I can't say how good it is in words. The sunday roast is the best I've ever had, outstanding soft meat, insane stuffed yorkshire pudding and incredible potatoes and gravy! The bread and butter pudding is also the best I've ever had. The service was really good and attentive and the place in itself is already super cool just to sit inside! A 10/10 for me and hope to come back soon!

It is a wonderful room but that’s the end of the good news. I can see they are trying to bring a degree of informality to fine dining but informal is not the same as offhand: and the service was definitely offhand - not rude, just not engaged. They seemed extremely young and clearly not that well trained. The most disappointing thing is the food. I don’t associate Tom Kerridge’s name with blandness. If he has his name over the door he should check it out from time to time. Nothing tasted of anything. The little canapé was a blob of soggy pastry. Wild garlic soup just tasted of leeks, and the green peppercorn sauce with the monkfish (skinniest piece of fish imaginable) was basically just a spinach puree. Don’t they taste the food in the kitchen? We were super disappointed.

An early evening meal was nearly ruined by the antics of a group of some six men who had had far too much to drink and were rowdy; I don’t expect that here - they should have been shown the door. We had a meal at Kerridges restaurant, could not fault the starters. But we both decided on the steak for main course, after we had placed our order the waiter said we cook the steak medium rare, i said no thank you i do not do rare, could i please have it medium well. When it came out it was not medium well at all, defiantly medium rare, more rare... I sent it back when it came back it did not look any different, i picked at the meat round the edges. When they collected the plates they did not ask if everything was okay. The chips were great but only had about 6 chips. We were staying at the Corinthia so after check out we did tell them we was not impressed with our meal at Kerridges. Would i visit again, no i would not......

Intimate and classy decor, warm welcome, bit of a slow bar service whilst waiting for friends (only one person on at lunch?) - food was as you would hope and expect. Finessed familiar dishes - duck liver pate and pork belly next level. The sausge roll was I have to say a little burnt so perhaps not a full sweep but everything was great. Not cheap for wine, but if it's a special occasion what the hell.

We have dined at the Hand and Flowers and had a lovely experience, unfortunately that was not replicated here. Service was poor, we had to always look for staff to order drinks, or even to place food orders. Food was not great, our steaks from the larder were over cooked and tasteless, there are no vegetable sides on the menu. We both left half of our steaks, and staff never ask if the foods ok. We waited almost 40 minutes for our dessert to arrive, and these were also very poor. The best thing we ate was the bread. The restaurant was only half full, but I don’t expect to have to look for staff for drinks refills and to place orders. The restaurant did comp our desserts and coffee in the end but I won’t return, there are many better places to eat in London.

When I went to visit London, my friends brought me to Kerridge’s for a “proper British dinner”. I loved it! The roast of ribeye beef was delicious and I really enjoyed the Yorkshire pudding it came with, the duck liver parfait was heaven and the tart was to die for! The wine was flowing, the service was really good, and the restaurant is really beautiful! Really enjoyed it.

I was looking for a restaurant that could deliver the ultimate Sunday Roast, and Kerridge's did not disappoint -- in any aspect. I dined in total comfort, with top-level service and delicious food. It was a feast -- a generous slab of roast beef, a Yorkshire pudding stuffed with short rib, thrice-roasted potatoes, a piquant horseradish sauce and more. It's a gorgeous spot and I recommend allowing time to savor and enjoy.

I was disappointed by a lot of elements, yet very impressed with some. We started with a complementary croquette, which was good, but not to the extent that I'd ordered it again. I then ordered the Apollo Spritz cocktail (non-alcoholic) which was really good. I got two courses from the set menu: the Lamb Scotch Egg and Massaman Sauce, and the Bavette Steak, Fries, and Peppercorn Sauce; and the Cox Apple Crumble Soufflé from the à la carte. The Scotch Egg was undercooked for me; still too pink in side. The quail egg itself was good. Didn't like the sauce at all. I just did not enjoy the flavours of the dish at all. Very disappointed, since I love Scotch eggs when done well at quality restaurants. The Bavette Steak was way too rare for me. I understand that this is just the way Bavette is served which is why the waiters don't ask how you'd like it cooked, but I was ignorant of that when ordering, so perhaps my bad. I could have asked for it to be cooked more but was actually full at this point. The fries and the Peppercorn sauce were good, but everything in general was a bit too salty. However, the dessert was phenomenal. At first, I was a little concerned the soufflé may drop and would as least definitely get cold, when my dessert was brought out prematurely, but to the credit of the staff, they corrected without prompting (the mark of a professional establishment) and removed the dessert. They then brought out all the desserts for our table together. I loved everything about the soufflé, the custard, and ice cream. Flavours and textures that were creative and refreshing. Pretty decent cappuccino, too. I appreciated the extra touches throughout the service, with the bread basket, complementary croquette, and little cookies with the cappuccino. Small additions to be sure, but gestures that make a dining experience just that little bit more enjoyable. All in all, I would go back, even if just for the soufflé! I'd definitely be up for trying other desserts on the menu, too.

Sorry si we chanced our arm and asked could we have the fixed price lunch £25 one course beef short rib with glass of wine or beer . The chef obliged and the night proceeded in an excellent manner . Beautiful food and we ordered a couple of side dishes too . Super attentive staff lovely building and opulence . I take the point about £52 for a pork chop and £9 per pint . Hard to justify but if the chef and staff had been less accommodating we may have had a different experience, but ours was positive .

Our children treated us for a meal to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We arrived a little early so we're seated in bar for cocktails - which were delicious! Shown to a lovely table for two and congratulated on our anniversary with a card - a nice personal touch. Our waiter asked if we were going on to theatre after as it was an early booking. Duly noted as we were. The dining room is stunning and well laid out so you are not crammed in. Although early and not that busy there was a great vibe - music did not intrude on conversations. We thoroughly enjoyed the food. Well presented and cooked with great ingredients. Service was excellent - courteous and attentive but never rushed. Our desserts arrived and each had little chocolate Happy Anniversary sign! Not a cheap place to eat but for a special occasion it was perfect - thank you!

My family and I came to Tom Kerridge's Bar and Grill for a special meal on boxing day. We were left feeling very disappointed with the whole experience. To start with the canapes, that are usually a good indicator of the meal to come, were hard and we couldn't eat them....we should have been prepared following that! The main course steaks were either undercooked or hardly edable. One was comped from the bill. My fish as undercooked. We were left so disapppointed that we decided not to stay for a desert. We only had one drink each, a gin and tonic, a beer and a prosecco (there were 3 of us) and the bill came to £200! I have written directly to the restuarant manager, who apologised and we were offered dessert and coffee to compensate. However that would mean travelling back to London. I might sound ungrateful and my expectations may be too high, however I didn't feel this made up for the poor food, not very good service and considering it was Boxig Day no atmosphere at all in the restaurant! I challenged the offer as I felt it still didn't make up for such a poor experience, on what should have been a very special occassion. However the offer remains the same. Having seen how Tom Kerridge critiques chiefs on The Great British Menu, I would have thought a restaurant bearing his name would have been far better than this! Please read this before you consider spending alot of money on a special meal.

We are big fans of Tom Kerridge TV programmes and his Corinthia restaurant has all that you would expect of him - up to a point. Ambience and decoration of the restaurant was superb. Staff were excellent - super polite, courteous and efficient. And whilst the food looked as though Tom had made it himself, sadly it was nothing out of the ordinary and the ox cheek frankly was so over seasoned as to be unpleasant. The garlic mushroom side was just that - something simply plonked on the side with no finesse. But it was the prices that caught the eye. I fancied, but declined a lamb chop at £52 and ditto a GLASS of Barolo at £70. We can afford to pay these prices but refuse to do so as they are simply unjustifiable. And having seen and tasted what was served up then we are glad we stuck to simpler choices on the menu. If you want to go - as we did - to say that you have been to a Tom Kerridge restaurant then do so but don’t go with great expectations and do negotiate a second mortgage first. Sorry Tom - there are so many other good restaurants in London that put yours in the shade. Quite a few are more expensive but are actually much better value for money.

Our evening began with perfectly chilled champagne and expertly crafted canapés in the main bar area, setting the tone for what was to come. We were then escorted to our private dining room, where the experience truly elevated – watching the chefs prepare our dishes in front of us added an intimate, interactive dimension to the meal. The sommelier deserves special mention for their thoughtful wine pairings, taking time to explain each selection and how it complemented the dishes. Every dish was executed with precision – from the starters through to desserts, the kitchen demonstrated exceptional consistency. The intimacy of the space combined with the personalized service creates an unforgettable experience. While certainly in the premium dining category, the value delivered through the quality of ingredients, execution, and service justifies the investment for those special celebrations.

We went for Christmas which has become somewhat of a tradition and was amazed that the venue is a Christmas Free Zone. Not a bauble anywhere. Nothing. The menu changed a month or so ago and I would urge anyone visiting to have a look first. It certainly wasn’t what we expected and our meal was saved by the bar menu. That said all very tasty but at £9.50 for a small portion of the chips it’s starting to get a little bit of a joke The main criticism however relates to the extensive wine list It’s massive and somewhat overwhelming which is where the sommelier comes in. This chap takes pomposity to a different level. I have heard Mr Kerridge state they struggle to make money on food sales; well they more than make up for it on the cost of the wine. We stated what we wanted but the sommelier was pushing us to bottles of £245 upwards and looked appalled when we stuck to our mere £100 a bottle choice. At one point he actually pointed to his gold grape lapel badge and stated it was he that dealt with the wine (but in a ‘alllo’allo accent) when we asked for our additional order which had not arrived. The venue wasn’t busy and yet we still had to chase staff for water etc. Not brilliant to be honest. On the plus side the treacle bread is amazing, the burgers were good and the starters were all very nice. But that’s it-nice. Just nice. We have been coming since it opened and have visited his other venues. Unfortunately, on this occasion it wasn’t as good as previous visits and please make an effort and decorate for Xmas. Why would you not make an effort at what should be a busy time of the year. It may explain why it wasn’t busy on the last Saturday before Christmas Day The rest of the hotel looks amazing as always so it really was noticeable that zero effort has been made to celebrate the “festive season “.

It’s an impressive building that has been expensively and tastefully restored. The plus’s of the experience were the wines - really very nice and a great recommendation from the Sommelier. The negatives were the food; over salted and overly rich and nobody asked us what we thought. Not a patch on The Coach in Marlow which was the best meal we’ve had for years. At the prices the Bar & Grill charges it really needs to be much better.

You must eat here for a unique dining experience. Make sure you bring a full wallet because it is pricey. It's worth it for the experience and the delicious food. We were kindly received and our coats were accepted, for which we were given a number that we could give to them again when we had finished eating. We were also kindly received at our table, given advice about the food, and our drinks were replenished very quickly. The atmosphere was very luxurious, but I didn't think the music was appropriate, I would prefer a quieter instrumental. Such as piano or Christmas music in connection with the theme.

I recently visited for the first time for Sunday lunch having booked in line requesting a quiet and out of the way table to provide room for a service dog. From the moment that we arrived the service was 1st class and the food outstanding. Would definitely recommend and hope to return shortly.

While the ambiance and food were good the service needs some work. We sat at a table with a dirty water glass, but no worries as it happens. We ordered a carafe of wine and were brought only one glass. We had to get the attention of the wine steward and he fixed this. Ordered our meals and added an additional side. My monkfish looked delicious, however upon cutting into it the part closest to the bone needed more cooking. The flesh didn’t want to come away from the bone. We asked for it to be cooked another minute. It was quickly taken care of and came back on a fresh plate and cooked a tad more. We were halfway eating when we realized that none of the sides came to our table. By the time we got the attention of someone and made them aware the sides were missing the remainder of the food went cold. Just a lot of simple mishaps but collectively they put a damper on our otherwise excitement to eat here. I will say they did bring a dessert to try to amend their errors, which I do appreciate but would’ve rather had a better experience.

My wife and I booked Tom Kerridges restaurant on Sunday 17th November. After a drink at the bar we were then shown to our table things were very positive. After being seated and enjoying our starters it was then it went drastically downhill. We waited over an hour for our main course. Even then it was only because we stopped a staff member. The maitre d came to our table to explain a large group had came in and that had pushed our mains back. As we were seated at the entrance there were not a lot of people entered behind my wife and I. Even worse was the fact the maitre d said this. At that point my wife wanted to leave but we didn’t want to cause a scene. We did reach out direct to the restaurant the following day who kindly offered us a bottle of wine on our return. As we were flying home today I had to decline. Going to Tom Kerridges restaurant was for us about the food and the experience. This was ruined for us.

Staff friendly place very up market inside. I found lunch menu very limited . My friend and I both chose the same. Crab for starter Guinea fowl for main with carrots and small potatoes on the side. The Crab was awful and sat on gooey brown crab jelly that was very unpleasant to taste. The Guinea fowl was Average but over done and the carrots had that much salt in them they burnt my mouth. IPA beer was nice. £8.50 a pint My friend for some reason drank 3 glasses of champagne at a cost of £200( idiot) Bill came to £380 including automatic 15percent gratuity Sorry but I won’t be revisiting even though it was a nice place to sit the food did not float my boat.

Este es un restaurante / bar de moda de calidad inteligente. Hermoso rollo de salchicha canapé con mostaza ligera mayo, panza de cerdo principal y las verduras excelentes. También salsa épica. Hay música del bar que no nos molestó que se sumó al ambiente. Personal muy educado. Pan y mantequilla más allá de lo hermoso. Puedo entender que la gente diga porciones pequeñas como carne de res de mi esposa era una rebanada gruesa, pero eso estaba bien para ella. Porción de vientre de cerdo también bien para el tamaño para mí. Muy recomendable.

The food was good although I would not order again lamb chops because it was a little bit fatty meat for me. The atmosphere was very nice . The service was good too but what pissed me off and why I put three stars is that you charge 15% of service charge as a mandatory fee. Tips should be given based on the client experience. Your price in the menu should include everything and if you want to get more money, you need to increase the price in the menu but not to trick people in this way. It was very negative experience for me. You will not face it in the USA or Canada because it is optional but people give good tips for the service if they had it.

Bar And Grill Restaurant. Hubby booked on 2/11/24 as a birthday surprise, had the Cotswold white chicken in garlic brine with a chasseur sauce and was very disappointed. The dish did not have any wow factor for the price paid. 🙁 Was given a chocolate birthday treat and a Gary Rhodes bread and butter pudding which was nice. 🙂 On the whole would really look again at menu if I go back.🤔

My best friend took me to Tom Kerridge's Bar and Grill restaurant for my 50th birthday, and it was so lovely. As you can see, the food was ever so exquisite. I have never refined restaurant food, and it was a lovely surprise from my best friend. The food was equally amazing, but don't take my word for it. Have a look at the pictures I have posted. The atmosphere was amazing and loved the decor of the restaurant. I think this will be a start to go to many new places in the near future. To top it off, I got a card from Tom and his team, and what really blew me away the detail they went to when they gave me my dessert, it even said Happy Birthday on the cake. Thank you to my best for taking me there but also to Tom and his team for making my 50th birthday a memorable one.

While the service was outstanding , the food was disappointing. That was one of the smallest lobsters I have ever eaten and had a lot done to it in an attempt to make it different. The mushroom tart was bland and the sides were all over-salted. The plaice was probably the only dish with a bit going on other than the tortellini soup which was amazing. Overall nothing in terms of the dishes would make us want to go back (soup aside) and a bit of a let down.

Steak was below expectations - very average to say the least. I was many times in other London grills - this one is below average, thought nothing so obvious to return it to the kitchen. Just regret ordering it at all. Other food - fish and lamb ordered by my friends were OK and even good. Deserts were good. Espresso was complete joke - guys you really have to consider improving your skills. What I did like - reading the wine list. It was good indeed! Big (huge!) minus - the restaurant was very noisy. Very loud music to no one's taste. It really interfered with communication. Conclusion - never again. There are plenty of restaurants better then this. The chef is famous, but I doubt he ever supervised the restaurant.

I came here for a birthday and didn't look at the menu or restaurant beforehand... Approaching the restaurant I almost felt scared to walk in as I thought I'd need to remortgage my home just to have a decent meal... How foolish and relieved I was. The set menu for a 3 course was only £47, it came with a complementary canape which was a Ham and cheese croquette, gorgeous warmed bread and butter, and we ended up choosing the Duck Parfait, Lamb Scotch egg, Steak Bavette and Blackcurrant and white chocolate cookie with Blackcurrant ice-cream and crumble souffle. Just devine. I took off one star as the steak Bavette was over seasoned, with seasoned fries, seasoned carrots and over seasoned peppercorn sauce, I think next time I'll ask for it without salt. Overall a lovely beautiful classy place that didn't break the bank, shockingly.

Super Fancy place - we were hoping for more a nice pub atmosphere. This is a fancy schmancy place and does cost $$$$$$. The service is ridiculous over the top. Table side service for appetizer / sauces - cute and nice but why? The portions are big so u can definitely share them. We had the pate as well as lamb and the Skate/ fish 🐟 and a gem salad. All very good .. and very generous we also had a bottle of red/dolcetto amazing and a ok price compared to the others wines. In any case you will easily spend 300+ GBP for dinner - just fyi. 💂🐟🐑🍷💰

I had a fantastic stop-by at Maison Assouline in London! Bartender Felix mixed me perfect cocktails, gave me a wonderful book reccomendation, and made the whole visit feel genuinely welcoming. Can’t wait to drop by again on my next trip!
