Kenno’s in East Devon

Really nice place on a pebble beach. The food was cooked really well and very tasty but they don’t have veggie sausage on the veggie breakfast. Been coming for years they always used to. Guess it must have changed hands. Not hard to add a small thing that can be frozen, so many places fail on this and here’s another.

Fresh food, very smiley, friendly staff who are happy to help and Beer beach is a lovely chilled place to stop and eat. Would've been 5 stars but seems slightly pricey (although no more expensive than the other two cafes on the beach). We'll definitely be back.

Hygiene levels need to be assessed don’t eat out of the fryer and then lick your fingers in full view of the customer especially after ordering food which I couldn’t eat not well presented for price won’t be going back sorry

Poor quality, the salad with my Panini was literally 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, and 1 lettuce leaf. 1 mouthful... Panini was below average and overpriced.

We walked past rows of small local fishing boats to enjoy fresh fish & chips on the beach. I was so angry to be served dreadful, triangular, frozen battered fish, it nearly ruined my afternoon. The poor waitress was clearly embarrassed to be serving such rubbish and rightly so. Shameful.

Brilliant ice cream, lovely service! All of the servers were really pleasant and the food we were served was amazing. We will definitely be returning!

Handling customers ice cream cones and flakes by hand without protection whilst handling money and the till is poor hygiene at the best of times. During current conditions with covid it's just foolish. To be fair they replaced with a wrapped ice cream when challenged without question so that was good. But I hope they learn that handling food should be done with care - I was quite shocked when it was happening when being served!

Great service, lovely ice cream and coffee and reasonably priced. There is a minimum charge of £10 on card and contacless payments but that wasn't a problem.
