Kebabish Orignal in Ealing

I flew all the way from Canada to the UK for a few days and Kebabish Restaurant is one place I made sure I visited again. I was here last year (August 2022) but didnt give my review as I lost my proof of pictures that i attended and ate at this establishment. Well tonight I went back for the 2nd time and was amazed/WOW'd for the 2nd time. I really don't know the words to describe how amazing the food was. The naan was super soft and literally melted in your mouth. We ordered Paya, Nihari and Shahi Haleem. The meat kust melted in your mouth and the gravy were incredible.... too bad I'm only in the UK for a few days but I would have gone back in a heartbeat to eat again at this restaurant. I did tell my relatives that we are coming back here again when I visit next time. I wish there was a place like this in the GTA.

Lots of staff but mismanagement Unclean table,Floor ,not Hygiene Food is Tasty but environment is very Noisy Over charge but when identify they refund

Very slow with order, had to ask for menu's , even longer it took them to take our, but very disappointed with family size mix grill just under £60. THIS restaurant needs BADLY DEEP CLEAN, but have to say the food is much tastier than our regular restaurant Giftos Lohar Karahi.

Just had an outstanding takeaway from this venue in Southall. The food was delicious but in addition they packed everything so well putting tin foil around containers etc. Will return whenever we are in London.

We visited regularly since from couple of month but when we visit this month they increased the price which was surprised for us They decreased portion and price increased I hope owner will consider my suggestion and decreased the price and increased food portion

Ordered very clearly and precisely a lamb tikka, which was served, food was nice, but when it came to the bill he overcharged from £8.50 to £13.00, which when queried, was due to an afghan lamb tikka being served ! I definitely did not order an afghan variety as it was not on the menu board. Despite raising this - no resolution achieved. Another customer was also short served a Keema nan, which never arrived and this was also argued by the staff member stating he(the customer),didn't order it, yet the customer had 2 witnesses to corroborate his story. Again - same staff member arrogantly argued his point. Be careful.

It was my 3rd visit to this southall branch,ordered mixed grill ,kabuli pulao and butter chicken .Kabuli pulao had it few years back from same place and it was not good.Today it was same and would rather say worst, meat was several days old . Butter chicken was just a simple chicken curry with butter added, no way near to butter chicken .Mixed grill was a disappointment as well. Keeping the current pandemic situation in consideration seating was completely crammed up. I will not recommend this place ,I explained the situation to the waiter and he complemented me with a desert.

Food is fantastic there and you get fresh food all the time. I would recommend their grill and Karahi. Wish they have bigger space because you have to wait their in the queue over the weekend and holiday period.

It was very busy. Had to wait for at least 45 minutes. Service was good and friendly, as we didn't feel rushed even though they were so busy. Food was ok but we have been there other dates and it's been better. I guess it's hard to be consistent when you're that busy. But will no doubt go back soon...

Alongside with excellent food but the waiters that served me was outstanding very cute chubby waiter I forgot his name but it was along the line if sayed or said he was kind and very helpful. I’d recommend this restaurant for any family wanting to go together.

Been there twice and its always so yummy. They make the best fish biryani ever. It has so much flavours.

Hands down one of the best restaurants to eat in Southall I've always enjoyed it and tried a few things from the menu. Prices have gone up which I was disappointed about and a decrease in portions I've noticed but the quality has maintained. Will always come back for more

Today has been the worst experience we’ve ever had while dining outside, extremely rude staff they literally don’t care who’s coming who’s going. We sat and waited on our table for 20 minutes just for someone to come and take our order and no one came they kept looking away. we saw the same thing happening on the table next to us when we arrived there was a couple who were leaving because no one was serving them or listening to them and they wanted to leave too. In the end we had to leave after waiting for so long with my 3 young children, will never go back here ever again.

Have visited the place a few times must admit their masala fish is excellent and the grill food is lovely only downside is the hot water in the toilet has never worked ever time we have been to the restaurant for which I complained last time but did not get much feed back we will try them once more when we visit Southall if it hasn’t been sorted out then it probably will be our last visit

Found woman hair in my food is downright disgusting. They should wear hat if woman is cooking. It was long long hair. Look like they have been dry hair in it.

The original kebab is very delicious and tasty but the lamb rice made me uncomfortable because to much ingredients they should use simple formula that’s why I given 3 star. Hope for the best.

Kebabish Original in Southall used to be the top place to eat in Southall in terms of price and quality. Quality is still reasonably good as before but unfortunately the prices have now gone up by around 20-30% and the cheeky owner (perhaps change in management?) has made the dishes at the same time smaller - some by more than 50%. For example the rice dishes used to come packed on a long dish. Now they come in a small bowl that is perhaps around 30-40% of the original size. The big kebabs are around 30% smaller. Service can do with some improvement as it seemed rather slow when we there to eat.

Very nice and tasty restaurant, in the neighbourhood of London (Southall, zone 5).

First ever visit to KO with family. Long wait, which is understandable due to Eid. But food was not good. Grill chicken was not cooked properly, was asked to recook. Chicken Peshawari Karahi was the real issue. The chicken was less than a baby chicken - certainly it was not a kilo karahi - not worth the price set. Overall, bad experience. Never going there again.

This was a delight we ordered takeaway they were friendly and they wrapped the food well so it did not spill anywhere ..KO thankyou the food was excellent tasty and not oily...Thankyou Asif

Amazing food didn't try much but for what I did have I am very satisfied and will definitely come again to try other things

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with my wife and 3 young daughters. The place did not seat that many people (probably around 70) and was busy. Soon as I walked in the staff escorted us to our seats bearing in mind we had an 8 month old baby. I ordered a kebab roll and the missus ordered a chicken tikka and the kids ordered an afghani skew each (which was least spicier than there peri chicken). The service was v good and the waiters worked extremely hard. Overall good experience. Next time I will try their afghani rice

I met a college friend after a long time and took him there it’s not bad the starters are really good and tasty but the main course was average And the service is poor

The best, the best, the best. The kebabs, the grilled food, the rice, omg I am dribbling. We travel over 60 miles to just eat here, and we have tried almost all restaurants on this street, this is by far the winner. Don't miss out, but if you can't handle the spice just tell them, they will sort it for you.

Service is not bad. Enjoyable food, especially the chicken biryani. 😋 The dishes I've tried are all tasty! Decent price.

The Kebabish Orignal Southall I was taken by a very good friend of mine to the place for the first time he promised me a meat feast of a life time and he wasn't wrong the food servings were massif & very reasonably price but best of all was the taste AMAZING. They cook it all in front off you and people are queuing up to get in the door fantastic place

Dare I say the best Asian food in London? Well it definitely is up there. The food is phenomenal the Chapli kebab was beyond all expectations and exceeded all gratitude and well deserved, the place is a little small but the food quality outdoes the lack of space, highly highly recommend going there and trying the Chapli kebab

Only had a takeaway from here, but can I just say how delicious it was , literally from the bread to the kofté , the sauce even the chips. Spot on 🙌🏽💯

I bought masala fish and grilled fish and it fell my expectations. The dishes arrived sizzling and had all the right things about it but both dishes tasted bland. Nothing masala about any of these as there was no taste and over compensated for by a mountain on peppers.

We visited at lunch time, it was very busy however food was really good, piping hot and served within 20 mins. We had mix grill, tarka daal and naan/Roti. Tarka daal was ok but rest cannot really fault.

Best place to have a Mix Grill platter Also favourite curry dish is the Methi Chicken, full of flavours. Don't forget to try the home made White Sauce

If you like starters there's no better place I have ever been to the starters are just cooked to absolute perfection and the chapli kebab is just wow never had anything like it before or after!!!

Freshly cooked tandoori chicken naan, fresh salad and sauce. Chips cooked fresh. Big portions friendly staff and good food. Affordable too.

Not sure if I've reviewed this restaurant before but I think it's mentioning again that they by far have the best starters in town!

Seriously guys, all it takes is a mop and good degreaser to clean your floors. Tables and chairs need replacing, very bad dining experience. Your food is good but hard to enjoy the food within a unclean environment.

Very clean and hygienic resturant in the broadway to eat normally most Resturant's have people standing outside side to grab customers inn convincing them to eat tasteless food but this resturant no need to do that because there food is amazing staff well maner the manager is really helpful strongly recommended their afgani food specially there authentic peshawari karahi qabli pilaw and chapli kebab with afgani nan. keep it up this place is my regular

The pilau rice was enough for two nice fresh cut salad daal ok and a nice butter chicken Seams to be popular with locals and clean unlike some others . Fast service and quick delivery other kebabish waited 2/3 times longer yet fewer people so when we are down this way again will be using it .

One of the best resturant in town and very clean very well behave waiters and chefs hats off to them I m big fan of Ko that's true food is knock out keep it up boys u never let me down 10 out of 10

I went with family. The menus need updating so were concerned, but the quality of the food was very good. From afgani mix grill to masala fish, the seasoning and flavor was very nicely done and I especially enjoyed the vegetables with the masala fish.

We visited the place this month, ordered Chapli Kebabs, Lamb Karahi and chicken qorma. Kebabs were half half cooked and too oily, the Karahi was below average!!! Very disappointed, will never go there again

Restaurant was busy upon arrival and no wonder. Food was delicious and freshly cooked. The sheek kebabs were beautiful and the masala fish was very tense. Their sauces don't have a wide variety, but do go very well with the food.The mango shake was very tasty, but the fresh apple juice was disappointing as was served very warm.Peshawar naans were delicious and quickly snapped up by the children.Great KO food!

Visited on a busy Sunday evening; eight of us got seated after waiting about 15 minutes. Time well spent watching the grill masters at work. The baby lamb chops were fabulous, the naan bread was average. Nihari was lovely, and the freshly prepared chicken dish was fantastic and cooked to our specifications regarding spiciness. Service was adequate in spite of being very busy. Will visit again when in the neighbourhood.

This is a good place . The rices and chappli kebabs were delicious but lots of garlic in seekh kebabs and mixed grill, still tasty but ..... people how like garlic will be happy here.

This is my third visit here and generally it's a must whenever we come to Southall. The food is always five stars but the service is at best average. They always seem too busy to see how you are getting on, or if you need anything. A quick note they do not have baby changing facilities which is very surprising since a big proportion of their customers are nearly always young families at least the three times I have been there maybe that is something they could work on. However onto the food.We had Chapli Kebab starters which where absolutely delicious very succulent and full of flavour just like in Peshawar, and the Afghani mix grill with nan, which comprised of lamb chops, seek kebabs and chicken tikka - what can I say absolutely beautiful, plenty of flavour not too spicy and well worth the money.

Bästa seekhkebab stället i Southall. Goda nan och tillbehör. Tyvärr lite trångt och inte många sittplatser för en bra restaurang som denna. Får ibland vänta i kö för att få bord.

Nous y sommes ce we de la Pentecôte. Nous avons pris un Mix grill Afghan, un KO grill et un Poulet grillé à emporter. Tout était excellent mais même l'Afghan Grill censé être non pimenté n'a pu être mangé par les enfants ... Le seul bémol pour ce RESTOLe cadre est plutôt sympa et le personnel tout autant.Je le conseille vivement pour les fans de grillade ...

Delicious tatsing grilled food and pricewise and portion good size but there is no pride in service....

i went with my family on friday night it was busy, we ordered mantu, ashak, kabuli, mixed grill and the mango lassi . The food was surprisingly REALLY good the mixed grill was tender and cooked really well and it wasn't really spicy which i preferred although they ask what you'd like it was cooked right infront of us on the charcoal grill nothing beats fresh food . The mango lassi is a must when I'm there. the portions are really generous :)) i really enjoy going there often the atmosphere was nice and it was a clean environment its different to other restaurants in southall the decor is lovely and very appealing .

A great place for meat lovers. We - two large guys - shared the Afghani mixed grill and had a couple of naans, and were full. The mango lassi was very good too.

We have only had a take-away from the restaurant, a family member likes the food but I am not convinced. The first two times, the lamb (chops and boneless) in the mixed grill were over-cooked and too rubbery; however the third time, it cooked properly and not rubbery. On one of the occasions, the shish kebabs were over-cooked too. The other dishes have been ok overall but not outstanding, the baby chicken was nice the most recent time but the paneer tikka was disappointing. The pricing is on par with most restaurants in the area.

Very nice food, I have been to this restuarant many times now. Their speciality is Kabuli Maicha and Peshawari Karahi. Prices are reseonable as well. Will go again.

This restaurant is right next door to Gifto Lahore Karahi. You can easily miss it because their lighting and decor isn't as bright as other restaurants.Anyway, I have been twice in the past couple of months and love the food. Its an Afghani restaurant. The prices of the dishes are reasonable compared to other restaurants and service is quite good although the waiters should pay more attention. But I guess you can get service issues in most restaurants.I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been to Gifto's so many times and their food is going down hill. Kebabish Original is a great alternative.
