Ahwangy in Ealing

The prices are quite food compared to other shisha/lebanese places to start off. The food is also better, I’m quite a fan of their burgers, they really stand out in flavour and look quite enticing. And not to forget the one thing every true person of culture would look for—garlic sauce. Their garlic sauce is something else.

Nice restaurant service is great friendly staff and prices are reasonable for the big portion sizes.

The food and the services excellent the guys very friendly ,,we had very nice time ,the owner supervised every little things,,parking available which is more. Important ..will go again

Visited Ahwangy last week with my family. It was such an awful experience and I will never ever be visiting here again. We were sat down and they took our order in about 10 minutes.They did not have any chicken or any fresh bread. Only option was to order lamb and plain rice. Waited over 1.5 hours for the food to be brought out! Can you believe it? 1.5 hours for a few shawarmas and plain rice!! The restaurant was really quiet and only had about 4 tables dining in. I cannot comprehend why they took so long for the food to arrive. No apologies for the staff whatsoever. We had to enquire about our food several times and the response was ‘it is nearly ready!’. We got tired of waiting and we were all absolutely starving so we we ordered hummus and plain bread but guess what! they forget to bring this out and we had to wait another 20 mins for just plain hummus. Food was awful - it was extremely dry and the lamb kept getting stuck in our throats. Had to order extra drinks to flush the dry lamb down our throats. Thankfully we dined during the 50% off day and only had to £60. I would’ve cried if I had to pay £120 for some stone dry lamp and plain rice which even a 5 year old could have cooked. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ZERO FOOD SERVICE. ZERO EVERYTHING!!

I was attending a birthday party on Saturday night. After reading the reviews I didn't have much expectation however I have decided to go. My partner ordered melon juice which I am pretty sure was off. He was very unwell during the venue and none from the staff asked him if he is ok. As soon as we left he was all white and we barely reached home as he was extremely unwell!!! Furthermore, the stuff was super busy so if you order something expect you had to wait up to 30 minutes (management-its not staff fault - think of hiring more people). The manager/head of waitresses/woman was extremely rude to other colleagues. Actually the staff and customers were not keen of saying thank you or please to people who were serving the food. People we are leaving in London, even though you are client please have some manners to the people who are serving you!! Absolutely no standards. I am not going to return never and I hope they close down.

It’s actually the worst restaurant I have been to in my life. The service is trash. Like it’s literally trash. They don’t even pay attention to you and they’re very slow. If you order something you have to wait more than half an hour and there is only one chef. The supervisor is extremely rude. He is so disrespectful and talks to people in a rude way. Like who do you think you are? He shouted at a young girl for being inside a party that is 18+ and that’s not allowed at all. Ok I agree that this young girl went inside this party when she wasn’t allowed to be there but YOU DON’T HAVE TO SHOUT AT HER. He even shouted at a 16 years old and called her short twice. Like what do you want me to say more than that? The food is even worse. It’s rubbish and you can’t even swallow it.😂 I will never go this restaurant again.

I rarely write reviews but feel I need to in the case of Ahwangy in Park Royal. My friend and I visit the restaurant every few weeks and when they get it right the food can be good. However this was not the case last Friday. My chicken was undercooked and within a few minutes of eating my meal I had to run to the toilet to throw-up. Not the best end to lunch! The waiting staff seemed to find the whole situation amusing - I can assure you it wasn’t! We will not be returning.

The stuff are lazy,they do not pay attention to customers at all. The waitress Anita was very arrogant and not friendly . Food was ok but nothing special.. The barmen was treating us with a nice cocktails. This place is cosy inside But need a good manager to make an acceptable customer service

Went in on a Thursday night around 9.30pm and asked if they accept the 25% discount which is stated on the Wuntu app but was told they no longer accept it. We still decided to eat there as we were starving so we seated ourselves and although it was not busy at all it took 5 mins for our order to be taken. The tea was brought to us around 20 mins later and they had completely forgotten our water. Our food was then served 45-50 mins later and the sauce on the lamb shank was incredibly salty and the chicken liver sauce was very sour. It was definitely NOT worth the wait!!

I saw member of staff leave the toilets without washing the hands.. the two women who claim to be managers don’t understand english well and couldn’t run a bath! They cant understand simple instructions of no tomatoes in a wrap.. very rude and poor service overall

I told the ladies at the front not to give me tomatoes as I am allergic to them. She agreed. I saw her out in tomatoes, I said no tonatoes she agree. As I left the shop there were tomatoes in my wrap. This could of caused me a severe alergic reaction, lucky I checked the wrap. I then went back in and showed them the wrap. I got attitude and was told Im playing games. Very rude and basically got shouted at. I wont be returning. You should be ashamed of yourselfs.

I came here last year for the Ramadhan Buffet and I loved it, so I thought I'd come again this year. I was a bit hesitant seeing some bad reviews, but I thought I'd go ahead. Booked for 8 people, our table was nicely reserved. The food was plenty and had a great variety. The chef is amazing, the food is delicious and authentic Lebanese / Syrian cuisine. I highly recommend this place for the Ramadhan Buffet. Will certainly come back here.

I called for a large group to see if we were allowed to order from the main menu and not pay for the buffet. I called 3 times and confirmed with 5 different people who confirmed that we could order from the main menu. When we got there, the waitress said that we were not allowed to order from the main menu. I asked why this information was not relayed on the phone and no comment was made. They then tried to persuade us to get the buffet but we refused. They then made it difficult for us to order from the main menu as they said that the food would take an hour to come. We were then forced to pay £20 for the buffet. The buffet food was frankly awful and I would never eat from there again. They tried offer us complementary tea as compensation, only to find out that everyone eating from the buffet had access to tea as this was already included. In summary, this restaurant and its staff were devious from the beginning to the end, they were rude and abrupt and their buffet was absolutely terrible. Please avoid this joke of a restaurant.

Terrible service. Blonde-haired, lebanese woman was extremely rude. She lied to us about being allowed to have a normal menu, then FORCED us to get the horrible buffet. She was rude throughout, and told us that we are to wait for an extra hour (even though we were fasting), to even order our meals, then another while till our food arrives. The food was terrible, very substandard. I will not be going there again.

Disgusting food, the majority of the staff are not only extremely rude but lie to your face to force you to order what is the most money making for their business. The blonde lady and another woman who both said they are the manager but apparently are not repeatedly lied to us and were extremely rude and demeaning. The food was terrible and genuinely the worst food I have had at any restaurant in London. Horrible service and food. Do not go here save your money and taste buds. Also very unhygienic - there was an ant in the hummus.

The best boneless chicken I ever had in London, it took them exactly 33 minutes to serve the chicken.. but it was worth the wait! The chicken was succulent, juicy and flavoursome! The service was good, and the interior is nice as well!
