Kebab Corner in Reading

Visited with my family as they knew of the place from social media and had masala fish and doner kebab. The kebabs were well appreciated by my companions and I really enjoyed the masala fish.

Friendly staff. Food on time. Very tasty

Web site says they're open but they're not. Sunday 4PM

Great food just takes forever to be delivered

Normally if you order , it's 30 plus minutes up to an hour , drove down , 12 mins , quality food and very hot Don't Uber if you can drive definitely worth the travel 😜

Kebabs are served in a naan bread which makes these the best kebabs in Reading. Very good value too.

Kebab corner will never order again half 6 I ordered and still waiting now not answering phone

Ordered food at 19:30, an hour later called to see where the order was and was informed that it was on its way. 40mins later still no delivery considering the takeaway is 5mins away. Further called and was told that they would make contact with driver, 6mins passed and I rang back. I was told that he was calling the driver, but still hadn’t. Further 30mins past and nothing. Poor customer service! They said they would cancel the order, but still awaiting the confirmation. I do not recommend this to anyone.

Dis was the most bussing fruityyyyyyy kebab stilll. Man like Mr Shopkeeper was a G. No beans tho which is wasteman behaviour

I am now a regular customer here. The kebabs are very good quality and well priced. Best mayonnaise I’ve tasted and the portions are always decent I’ll be returning!

Only had the kebab from here and it’s never been a bad one. Reasonably priced . 5 stars from me based on their kebab.

Food is excellent but due to really poor customer service they are getting the worst rating for everything else. Which is disappointing really being a loyal customer of theirs for 6 years without next to no issues. Placed an easy order on Just Eat app to have delivered of which they accepted the order and within 5 minutes they cancelled the order with the most ridiculous excuse going "no delivery drivers available" when the app stated delivery only "no collection" rang up the restaurant and spoken with the most unprofessional staff member, no apology and no response to their response on Just Eat. Knowing the family that own this business has shown they don't value loyal customers that keep their business running daily and today was tip of the icing to where I do not recommend them whatsoever.

Went for large doner kebab and chips. Delivery was quick (twice as fast as any other kebab delivery in the area). Chips were nice. Kebab was a little disappointing although I did eat it all. Chilli sauce was watery and sweet rather than having any kick or spice. The meat was cut a little too thick for my liking and there was hardly any salad. The naan bread was so wet underneath that is ended up being inedible.

Cheapest fast food around meal deals all the way. Great service and food is pretty good...burgers are better than Mac D and cheaper in a meal deal.

The worst experience ever.I ordered my dinner around 5:30 pm Waited for an hour When I called the restaurant they said to wait for another 45 minutes. The restaurant said it’s not their problem they were very rude. The restaurant is literally 5 minutes away from my home so I went there directly still the food was not ready n I again waited for 45 minutes picked up my food by myself and brought home.

Delivery was 2 hours for a kebab and extra chips. Chips were cold and already turned grainy inside. Kebab was nice but tepid at best. Not much in the way of chosen sauce either. All in all it has to be 2 stars. Delivery being the biggest let down but also being served old food. Real shame!

I love the food but I'm very disappointed by the recent rise in prices. I can't afford to order from here as often now. £2.50 for a sausage is insane 🙈

Longest delivery in the world! Think they’re personally killing, plucking and cooking the chickens. Rude when you call them and ask how long too…. Avoid!!

Great food, quick on time delivery. My only complaint is they always run out of Chicken Pakoras, which is understandable as they are amazing.

2:30mins later, I'm still waiting, driver must be taking the grub on a tour of Reading, also, why does it take so long to cook a burger? Shan't be using you again, after 16yrs of orders, for the last two, you have let yourselves down. Incredibly, shape up or ship out, in your case sink.

Their mixed kebab with fresh naan is amazing and so are their sauces ! Fresh naan makes all the difference! Also friendly and polite staff, our new go to kebab place in reading!

Chips were stodgy and soggy but the meat was good and tasty. Daughter loved the nuggets and said they were yummy. Overall it was good

FOOD NEVER CAME!! ordered at 12am, was supposed to be delivered by 1:10am to 1:30am. Cant see our house number in the dark so i went out side to wait at 1:05am. By 1:35am nothing, so i called and they said it was on the way. By 1:55am - 5 minutes before they close - nothing still so i called and they said the system said delivered and it wasnt their problem. Was stood out in cold and rain for an hour, only to be rudely told its not their issue and they wont give me a refund for the food i never recieved. not the first time this has happened. STAY CLEAR!

During these unprecedented times, shops and other places had to put limits on how many people are allowed in. As they have a 1 person limit, I waited 30 minutes as a friend or family member in their phone. They knew I was waiting and since I did not want to breach COVID regulations, I ended up going home with an empty stomach

One of worst place to get hot food , also when placing an order for delivery at times you get the wrong food and waiting longer than they say, don't waste your time getting food there, even the chips are cold and greasy, Out of the star rating -5 more like I'll give them. Even the kebab is cold at times, oh by the way the burgers could stick on the ceiling it's that greasy and how on earth rate anything, 👎👎👎

Not worth even calling used to be average and now its gotta be the worse take away in reading, the last three times I've ordered from them they've got it wrong and don't nothing to fix it takes ages and turns up cold find somewhere else to get food

AWFUL... ordered at 7:15pm..... 9:15pm phoned to find out where the food was. Was told it was on its way man just left. Only live 5 mins away.. 9:58 food finally came but was cold!! Second time we've had this problem with them. Wont be ordering again from kebab corner!!!

Kebabs are massive. Served up in round naan breads. So damn delish

Evry time, the meat is burned...

I walked to the shop and reached there at 3:55 and waited for 10mon and they still didn't open up at 4:05, one of the staff members told me that the open at 4pm, the opening time on the Google search for Kebab Corner is incorrect, it says open at 3pm but it isnt.

1.20H waiting time for kebabs FFS what you been doing caching a sheep ,growing tomatoes. Should ask for my money back. Not recommended for home delivery.

Not always up to scratch but good food normally and reasonable price

Truly shocking service, huge amount of time waiting for burnt rubbish. I had to get most of the vegetables taken off. Avoid at all costs.

I have ordered stuff at 23:30 for ASAP so for 00:15 ''restaurant'' added extra time so they suppose to deliver at 00:50 but I was too hungry to cancel the order at 01:00 I had to call them if they are lost or need extra directions they said that the driver is just leaving so hell be here 5-7min.... Finally 01:15 I got my food thankfully still hot but the lamb was not well done and chicken was burned salad consisting of just lettuce and fresh onions nothing else ... Unfortunately me and my partner have just one toilet in our flat so it is kind of tricky when you get diarrhoea at the same time

LOVE the food from here and order most Fridays the only issue I have is the delivery TIME this is so long most times and now we try and collect.

Food is nasy! Delivery times are some what to be desired. Was told one hour delivery has now been two hours and won't give a refund! Never again! Nobody waste your time here!

The worst place and the worst food don’t go!!

Very very disappointed with the service, waited over 2 hours for delivery called them to be told they were on the way, But still waited another 20 mins. I have been a very good customer whom orders every week . I will not order again,.sad but true.

Very nice kebab meat although the roll could be bigger

Not as good as they once were. This time the delivery was not too late, but the food was poor and not a lot of it for a medium size- hardly any chicken and the salad basically non existent. Something must have leaked from one of the containers as the bottom of the bag was drenched with a greasy liquid so it will be a while before I order again. You need to be more consistent with the products.

Kebab was late and cold the large chicken shish only 8 small pieces of chicken in and the veg was burnt the lamb doner wasn't much better it was called and tasted of fish and lacking any taste

The donor kebabs are so nice and the the chicken burgers are amazing this place does very nice food never had a bad meal and ordered lots of times

Ordered on the phone and told 20 minutes,after waiting in there another 25 minutes my partner then had a moan anyway the delivery guy waiting in the back of the kitchen was asked to put some chips on out front I guess in which time they spat on the keema naan they were cooking for me as the kitchen guy looked out at us and grinned so I checked the food in the car and sure enough he had spat on my food because we complained! Absolutely disgusting they only get 1 star so I could leave a review!!!!!
