Increíbles jovencitas Excelente ambiente, servicio amable, excelentes opciones de menú y comida realmente decente a precios asequibles. Volveré. Qué restaurante tan encantador, buena comida y servicio y ambiente, definitivamente espero volver.

Food is bland and we were told the sauce was made in house but later found out it actually came out of a packet. Wouldn't recommend at all

I've eaten at Katsu Kitchen a few times now and every visit has been great. My favourite dishes are certainly the fish ramen and California maki. The seaweed side salad is a great moreish touch! Definitely a restaurant I'll always return to.

I’ve visited twice. Inside this place has quite a cool vibe with subtle lighting, fairly compact and you can see the kitchen from the benches. You may be sat on a row with others like Wagamama so it’s not a stuffy vibe in there. Each time the staff have been lovely. Menu has been expanding and I’ve had the Ramen both times which really looks a treat, different veg to add interest, really tasty and filling. The Asahi on tap has run out so I had an ipa from the fridge. The owner came over to check everything was ok. Prices are good too. I’d definitely visit again either planned or spur of the moment if in Moseley having some drinks.

This was our second visit to Katsu Kitchen and it’s just epic. Tasty, filling comfort food that’s so good you’ll keep coming back again and again! Staff are friendly and chatty and make you feel like part of the family. So pleased we met these guys, thanks to them I now have a new life long love for Japanese cuisine!

Loved everything about this place. The use of treated chipboard is cool and different, and there's a good laid back atmosphere. The food is top notch, and the pricing is reasonable. Really hope it does well.

I think you have to go and try this place. I’m vegetarian and found the menu very limited. I had the vegetarian curry which wasn’t for me. It was rice with a heavy curry sauce and a hard boiled egg. Not for me. I do wish them well and it’s probably better suited to breaded chicken lovers.

Me, my husband and my fussy three year old went today for lunch. Panko chips and the vegan maki were worth it alone but the chicken katsu didn’t disappoint. Very good value and excellent friendly service. My daughter dived straight into everything. Will definitely be back. Almost wish I still lived in Moseley.

We had a really enjoyable meal. The panko chips went down well with the kids as did the vegan maki. I love a boiled egg with anything and it seems a wise decision to go for that in the chicken katsu donburi. Will definitely return.

This place has a strong vibe and offers a strong concept. The menu isn't huge but big enough. I went for a lunchtime special - curry and soft drink for £5.99. Great meal and great value for money. The rice was wonderfully sticky - just right, not too gloopy. The chicken was very crispy and not at all greasy. The pickles and dicon were crunchy and nicely sharp, the Katsu sauce was beautifully balanced. It was all very good and I will be returning for more. Highly recommended.

As a family of 5 we went there with high expectations loving wagamamas and being excited that we could experience something different locally. The menu is limited but we were told that that was as they were a new restaurant expanding their dishes. There was only chicken and this was all deep fried. Exactly the same deep fried chicken was served in the Donburi and Rolls. There was no spicing at all. The curry sauce would have been better from a chip shop. There were no noodles at all. I suggest you dont waste your time here. You will be disappointed.

Although they're new to Moseley, Katsu Kitchen has been a feature of various Birmingham street food events. Over time they've perfected their namesake katsu curry which I cannot reccomend enough. While the seats could be more comfortable, they do fit with the modern aesthetic of the place- think wagamamas. The warm demeanor of the staff and the excellent quality food more than make up for it. Would definately return.

Appalling attitude from one of the staff this evening. 'Soy sauce sachet isn't free, we are giving only because we want to give' was exactly what I was told! As an Asian who know sushi culture more than that particular non-asian staff, please note that soy sauce and wasabi are part of a sushi meal. If getting some soy sauce would be so tricky I suggest Yo Sushi stop serving sushi altogether. If the area manager is looking at this, please check and educate your staff. N.b incident took place on Monday 28/10/24 around 9-930pm.

AVOID - had a booking for a friends 40th which we paid £70 deposit. They even called up the week before to check if still wanted booking. We arrived at 7pm on a Saturday night and it was all shut. Called number and chased our deposit numerous times and had no response. Turns out they closed in July due to a fire and must have been chancing it with our deposit. Shocking customer service!

The lack of options & willingness to accommodate for gluten free is seriously poor. Yo sushi has gone backwards in their ability to accommodate gluten free, considering sushi can very easily be made so. However some chains have had managers that try to help. At Selfridges Yo Sushi it was truly painful to speak to them about it. Yo sushi - in this day and age it shouldn’t be so hard!
