Kaspas Desserts in Gloucester

After this visit I'm crossing Kaspers from my places to eat. Waffles were cold and served on cold plates. They were returned and fresh waffles made. However, sundaes came in a warm coup and melted quickly. My pistachio gelato was iced. Voting with my feet and never going to any kaspers again

Went for boba and late night munch. Absolutely sh*t! Was seated for more then an hour just for are waffle to be stone cold. The ice cream was missing all of the extras we paid for, waiting over an hour to be told they don't have the toppings and still then a 15 minute wait for ice cream. Bearing in mind we ordered within 5 mins of being there. Staff were rude, toppings were stale when we got them had to scrap all the toppings off for it to be somewhat edible. Oh let's not forget OVER an hour for a boba, A BOBA! Won't be coming back will go elsewhere

The staff here are rude, incompetent and lazy! Had to wait over 30 minutes for food to come to the table, which was totally the wrong order which the waiter found funny. I went to the counter to complain and the waitress was too busy playing with her hair to bother with my order. Food hygiene comes to mind! And on the subject of hygiene, do not use the toilets here, dirty smelly covered seats, sinks blocked with dirty water! If i could give this less than one star i would!!

Couldn't fault the ice cream or service. However, the ladies toilet was out of order on the first trip, over a month ago and it was still not repaired on Saturday. Sorry but this is not acceptable.

Just had a kaspas delivered was meant to be cookie dough, it was more like a warmed up cookie that had been bought from a super market. Not impressed, you could definitely learn some lessons from gileatos when it comes to cookie dough. Absolutely disgusted not worth the money at all thanks for nothing kaspas Gloucester. I won't be ordering again. Also very small.

Beautiful service from khadi Waffles was made quickly even though it was busy, milkshakes decorated beautifully and everyone was polite and everywhere was clean

Ordered some food around 2 hours ago now. Arrived half an hour after which was fine. Food was freezing cold. Not tasty to eat at all. We also ordered slushes, they were just Ice with the wrong flavours and no jelly balls. So disappointed this time. Been on the phone for about an hour but no one seems to be picking up.

Ordered from here twice now, first time they sent us the complete wrong order. Second time they’ve forgotten some of our order and received melted ice cream pretty much water!! Don’t waste your money

Awful service ordered £60 worth of deserts they missed half of the order and the ice cream had a nice long hair in it, never again.

Visited today. Place was quiet customer wise but service was slow and we got someone else’s order to start with. Most staff seem to work on a slow is best principal as there was no enthusiasm for the work. Unfortunately everything is smothered in a very sweet syrup which overpowers the taste of the dish. Not everything on the menu was available and there is no option for a half portion. Special offer price for coffee and cake is mentioned on the website but this doesn’t automatically translate to the bill. The main reason for the low rating was that there were no customer toilets as these were blocked. Speaking to family who have visited before this is a common occurrence, or the toilets have standing water on the floor or are dirty. We shall not be visiting this establishment again

Very tired and unclean premises, floors that are reminiscent of a nightclub just before kicking out time and torn furniture to match. The staff member who showed us to our table was lovely and helped distract from sticking to the floor when approaching our table. The second staff member we interacted with had an indifferent attitude, definitely didn’t want to be there or serving customers. We haven’t visited before and weren’t sure how ordering worked so just asked if we need to go to the counter, apparently yes we do but a table after us received table service. The food itself was nice, we just ordered some crepes and hot drinks, the member of staff who brought it out was very polite although it was quite slow to come out. Overall, okay food with mixed service depending on who you interact with, didn’t seem like anyone there was taking charge. Won’t be visiting again. Note - the card machine wasn’t working and we got directed to a cash machine that charges when there’s another nearby which doesn’t, a bit suspect!

Had the most appalling experience ever at Kaspas. Staff were rude and unprofessional from the start. Took a long time to order because they didn’t have a clue about the menu. The store wasn’t very clean, ordered a coke snd it had cake round the rim of the bottle. Eventually got our food, an item was missing so thought it was just due to it taking longer than the rest. Waited 20 minute and still nothing so asked where it was. The staff said they had forgotten about it so would do it then. Our children had finished their food and we’re getting irritable from sitting around bored. My autistic son started ticing as he often does, we were approached by a member of staff saying a customer had made a complaint, only one other table was taken so not sure how true this was. We were trying to trying to calm my son down, easier said than done due to his disability. The cookie we were missing finally arrived and just after the same member of staff came over asking us to keep the children quiet and insinuated that we needed to leave. I explained my son was autistic and we had been waiting for some time but this was ignored. My friend rushed her food so we could leave ASAP. On the way out the staff member tried bribing us with sweets for the children which I politely refused. I have never seen such disgusting treatment of my child’s disability in all my life. Would never step foot into kaspas again after this, absolutely awful service from start to finish and quite frankly hurtful to my child for something out of his control.

We came here on a Wednesdays evening, we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were seated straight away by a girl, who was so moody and unmotivated. She didn’t speak at all, just showed us to our table. None of the staff were wearing masks, and I’m sure that government guidelines say that it is table service only however we had to go up to the counter to order. The booth seats were ripped. Even though there were no other customers, it still took about 20/25 minutes for our food. Luckily, the waffles tasted really good.

Even the bad reviews here are being kind. Filthy is an understatement. Slow, massively incorrect order being nigh on thrown at the table. No covering masks etc for COVID at all being done. No apologies Filthy would be an understatement. A very uncomfortable experience...and I have no idea what was going on in the back area!!!! Felt very dodgy.

Bien. . . Bien. . . Bien. . . dónde empiezo. visité kaspas en gloucester esta noche con mi esposo y mi nieta. Pedido realizado a las 7. 01 pm, tenía que ir al mostrador a las 7. 18 para preguntar dónde estaban nuestras bebidas. todavía esperando otros 10 minutos para que traigan 2 batidos, todavía sin chocolate caliente. Luego, mi esposo tuvo que ir al mostrador para preguntar y aún así tomó otros 5 a 10 minutos. Bueno, el chocolate caliente sabía a agua con 1/2 cucharadita de chocolate en polvo. Al final, trajeron 1 helado y todavía tuvimos que esperar otros 10 minutos para los waffles (que apenas tenían cobertura). Al salir, mi esposo tomó la bebida caliente al mostrador y les dijo que era repugnante donde, como una camarera lo encontró hilarantemente divertido. El baño es absolutamente asqueroso. Lavabo lleno de agua sucia, sin cerraduras en el cubículo, paredes y puertas sucias. Durante una pandemia o no, la higiene debe ser una prioridad. No volvería a visitar este lugar si fuera gratis.

Mi hija estuvo recientemente en Voice Kids y solo queríamos celebrar su viaje y éxito. No pudimos reservar una mesa, no somos de Gloucester y caminamos un buen rato para llegar al restaurante ya que reservamos en otro lugar pero no nos gustó, así que decidimos ir a Kaspas. La asistente del gerente Hina fue particularmente amable, no aceptaron reservas, pero cuando le expliqué las circunstancias, hizo una excepción y nos ofreció una mesa. En general, tuvimos una gran celebración y disfrutamos mucho de nuestra comida y bebidas y lo que lo hizo aún más agradable fue el personal encantador y acogedor. ¡Definitivamente regresaremos por más! ¡Y se lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Este lugar está sucio con poca o ninguna limpieza, los baños no tienen jabón ni instalaciones de secado, ¡lo cual es genial en medio de una pandemia!El personal parece estar más interesado en pelear entre ellos que en limpiar y atender a los clientes.Tienes que usar una máscara facial mientras estás en el restaurante, así que nunca sabré cómo puedes comer tu comida mientras usas una máscara.Si eres amigo del equipo, no se requiere máscara, ya que puedes sentarte y charlar con el personal.Cierre este lugar ya que no es seguro Covid y se ha informado al equipo de salud ambiental del Ayuntamiento de Gloucester.

Ripped me right off didn’t give me the right change gave me 5p short terrible service and no masks what so ever

Food was ok and pleasant enough, however, items were brought to the table in an order that defied logic (hot items, crepes & waffles) were brought out first and then the cold sundaes were brought out last so by the time the sundaes arrived the hot items were pretty much gone (we didn’t expect the others to hang around waiting so let them tuck in). Perhaps this is just being picky but personally I don’t like eating whilst others have already finished or are close to eating.My big gripe was how filthy and dirty the place was! Seating was ripped and if you ever had a concern about hygiene, DO NOT visit the toilets.My 8 year old daughter visited the toilets with her mother and it was nothing short of disgusting. I can tell you the gents were not much better- I really wish I had taken a photo or two because the toilets resembled something out of the film train spotting they were that bad! Our large group of family were all disgusted, those that braved the visit were appalled and the staff I think got wind of our displeasure and closed the toilets for ‘cleaning’! No mopping or sanitising would ever get those toilets clean- they need ripping out and burning! This almost sounds dramatic but it’s accurate! No words can actually describe how bad this was and the fact we were eating our food a matter of metres away was off putting alone!As I said, food was pleasant but would not ever visit this place ever again just based on the toilet visit!

Dont go! Purchased vouchers as a present back in Nov..tried to use them but were told as the vouchers werent signed or rung through the till they could not be used.Very rude assistant told us thisThe assistsnt that I bought the vouchers from was useless & didnt know the procedure...however took my money anyway & gave me the vouchers.Tried 6 tines now to get hold of them by using the customer service form online & have rung store 3 tines...manager never there!..getting nowhere...Absolutely disgusting

The dirtiest, mankiest place this side of Djibouti. From the front door to the ripped seats; filthy cutlery; sticky tables, the only way to get this place clean would be to set fire to it.

Mi hija y yo vinimos aquí como un regalo después de la escuela por primera vez. El lugar estaba muy tranquilo a solo unos pocos niños. La señora que nos atendió fue educada y sonriente, aunque tuve un pequeño problema para entenderla. En general, estaba bien, estaba limpio y vi a la señora limpiando para mí, lo cual fue una buena señal. Me gustaría volver a verlo tal vez el fin de semana.

The whole place is filthy, toilets are disgusting and haven’t been cleaned in a long while! They forgot half our order, when my crepe arrived it definitely wasn’t worth the wait, will not be returning

Place was dead and 15min waiting for 2 sundae and 1 waffle. Moody staff and not professional. But the worst is coming, a man came in smoking and the staff was not even bothered. Disgusting, never again!

This place host the most unruly rude staff going who obviously have one objective look after thereselves and sod the customer.The place is dirty with tables not cleared and the food is bow average in taste and quantity for the price you pay.Don't even bother trying to complain cause you get told to just go away...you have been warned..

I don t now how to start,the place is dirty,waitreses are going around and doing nothing,when you go to make the order is 1 person who is taking order and after he is going to make the order,that's means you have to wait like 30 minutes and your order is comming just half,anouther half after 15 minutes. Visited Kaspas in Gloucester for my daughters birthday party on Saturday, I have never had such a bad experience in my life. We had to seat ourselves, my husband had to clear our table himself, I waited 45 minutes in a queue to place my order, the whole place was full of screaming and shouting people, I had to shout as loud as I could to even place my order, and wait over 30 mins for it to arrive, the waitress even spilt milkshake over the table without replacing it. People take their young children here, just to run round the place and scream their heads off. It certainly tainted my daughters party here, I will never set foot in the place again

Came here on a Sunday lunch time. Wasnt expecting four star but toilets needed a good clean and not been checked for a while, certainly not been cleaned as layers of dust on sill. There was food on walls in restaurant area and on seating which was off-putting, it was nothing a quick wipe couldn't sort really.Food was OK so that's a positive but staff didn't seem that cheerful!

They were late opening despite knowing we were coming for a birthday celebration, staff arriving after opening time, no smiles, no polite nothing, waited over 30 minutes for puddings, not really like the pictures, couldnt order more as till wasn't working, forgot some of the order, just nothing at all to write home about really, returned for a second time and still couldnt open on time so went somehwhere else, probably not going back

Came here today with my mum and nephew ... to celebrate my birthday.

Waited 25 minutes to be seated. When we were seated table was filthy asked several staff members but never came to clear table. 2/5 of our party received food, whilst we waited another 25 minutes for rest of order to arrive.

Appallingly dirty, asked 3 staff to clean the table, nobody ever did. The menus were so dirty they smelt. 5 of us ordered only 2 got their desserts (but no drinks) the rest only came when we complained and 2 had finished. We only stayed for the children, it was awful, I will never go back.

The food was nice but they got the wrong order on my sister’s food and the wait was so long that we didn’t bother to send it back. Would return again but the staff don’t seem that bothered about their job!

Have been to this kaspas a few times before but I think I will give it a miss in future. I ordered a cookie dough using my discount card which I’ve had since they opened, then they refused to give it back to me. The place was empty and there were bits all over the floor. When the dessert arrived they had forgotten the sauce and the ice cream was a half-melted lump in a dish. At least the music wasn’t as deafening as it usually is... I think the Chelt one is slightly better, I wonder if this could be the worst branch in the country?!

My son and I visited on an inset day so there were literally only 2 lots of people there. We hadn’t our drinks delivered about 15 minutes after we’d finished our desserts. Why did they take so long? We wanted it all together!

Can not believe what i saw when visiting with my daughter! The work stations were full of mess and dirty sticky stuff i watched a staff member sho was making a shake lick the spoon and then put in back threw the mix! The staf r rude and make u feel like u shouldnt evan be there, floors full of crumbs and dust! Such a shame as this could be a great placefor familys and kids will not return and will make sure i spread the word very disappointed

I will not want to sit and eat here again. This is the third time I’ve been and my boys and I love the ice cream and waffles, but every time they have very loud music and I noticed this time it had a lot of disgusting words, my children should not be listening to. It has horrible decor and not a very nice atmosphere. We had a man walk in asking for money to buy cigarettes the staff did nothing we had to ask him to leave us alone. It would be better as a drive through.

Visited today only 10mins after opening, 1 member of staff who would rather be on his mobile then pay attention to customers, ladies were vile toilet roll all over floor in both cubicles oviously not cleaned from night before,the sinks were filthy. Tables i passed were dirty you could clearly see chocolate on them. I'm not surprised it wasn't busy place was disgraceful

I've been twice. First time, another person with us found plastic in their drink. The second time, we were sat (in an empty restaurant) under the only speaker in the building which was blaring really really loud aggressive music the entire time. Didn't finish my food as I was on the verge of a panic attack/breakdown because of the music. Asked them to turn it down. Not much happened.

Visited about 30 mins after opening. We were seated in a nice booth and given a huge menu loaded with so much choice it took forever to choose. Ordered at the till , Staff were pleasant and food order was simple to sort.

Food was just OK, nothing special and they did not have two of the puddings we wanted to order and as they have a Very small selection of puds that’s pretty poor stock management. We went mid afternoon so it was not end of a day when stock might run low. Coffee was bitter, staff taking order were grumpy although the waiting staff were pleasant enough. Plenty of places in Gloucester with nicer food.

Visited during a quiet period, only 3 others in the shop. Staff stood around talking between themselves and looking uninterested. Eventually got served and waiting nearly half an hour for a pancake!

This is place for sweetmeats lovers. Here is everything. Milkshakes, smoothies ice creams, hot chocolate and so one.

We were a large party so it took a while for us to order.

Ordered via Deliveroo came cold they gave us half a ice cream portion of the wrong sort, ordered peanut m+m base came with normal m+m no sauce just terrible NEVER GO HERE YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY AWFUL RUDE STAFF TERRIBLE FOOD

So waited for ages eventually just gave up and picked up menus ourselves and sat down

My daughter and I were extremely excited to be going on holiday we asked for a table to have a drink before we caught our coach . The place was empty I ordered my drink and was told I can put it as a takeaway if I wanted. Why would I ask for a table if I wanted to take out?

A grim, grey, drizzling day in Gloucester town. We thought a big sumptuous dessert might cheer us up. When we walked in, we realised at once we weren't quite the target demographic for Kaspas, being old and grumpy - it was very DARK inside with shiny black floors, black walls, and violent pink plastic benches in booths - the walls shook with the booming, ghastly music (this did change to a more pleasant Latin American vibe towards the end of our visit) and the place was heaving with teenagers and children. It was cheerful mind you, and there was a big choice of crepes, waffles, and icecream sundaes.

We went here today and ordered pancakes and coffee, we waited 40 mins with no sign of even the coffee, went up to complain and the coffee was brought over. Waited another 20 mins for the pancakes only for them to be brought over and put on the table with a quick garbled message of 'sorry it's a mess'! Looked nothing like the photo so can't believe it took over an hour! Got money back and left, waste of time.

Waited almost 5mins at the door before I was seated. The chap was very pleasant, my meal was take away. I sat and waited the girl making the food looked very bothered and uninterested. While waiting I over heard one of her colleagues telling her she has to change something on the order and she slammed the cream on the counter and said "Bloody Hell"

Three of us dessert officianados went to Kaspas because we heard good reviews from friends. We had been to various "ice cream parlours" before, but this one was on a par to the great "The Works" in Aylesbury. Service was friendly, admittedly it was lunchtime on the Sunday before Christmas, so was fairly empty, but the desserts were good, I had the tropical sundae, mmmmm

So the food was completely yummy and I would recommend people to go there for that. But the service was so depressing. The woman on the till, Natasha, sounded so bored serving us and had no personality it was quite sad. The gentleman who wore a pink top seemed more happy and was interacting happily with the guest.

Used Gloucester kaspas for first time, having waited 5 mins at the door before anyone acknowledged us, the staff seemed really unhappy and I just didn't get the friendly happy vibe in here, food was ok and did get served to us within 6 mins which was good i won't be returning to this one stick to Cheltenham store, happy staff = happy customer

Found this place as we got off the bus in Gloucester, had a look at the menu and decided we needed one of theses. I had the Waffle with strawberry, chocolate sauce and chocolate pieces. Mmmm, very nice. Price wise, reasonable.

I think its great to have a restaurant dedicated to desserts!! Enjoyed the pancakes and ice cream, all sorts of flavours available. I understand what another customer said about the food being a bit synthetic, but I kind of expected it and probably goes down a storm with the kids. Staff were OK. The interior is a bit dark. Its a bit confusing to be served pancakes with ice cream but to not be given a spoon. This must be the way they do things as has been the case on both my visits. Generally good though and fun. Would definitely return when feeling in need of a sugar boost! Nice for a treat.

I visited kaspas for a coffee and desserts during the week. It was very crowded indeed. The service in general was good, even though it was likely more self-service and had to go to the bar/counter to place your order. The waffles were brilliant and my coffee too ( i would say one of the best cappuccino i've ever had for a long time). The atmosphere was nice too. What was a bit let down it was the fact we had to wait at the door and to be told that we had to go to the bar and face the massive queue waiting to order...

Staff very friendly and attentive, Didn't wait long at all to be served. Deserts and shakes all as described. Overall a fun experience for my daughters 14th birthday.

Ok for kids but I just feel the you can tell the ingredients they use are cheep and this comes through in the final product.

On arrival we waited quite a while for anyone to actually seat us.. we were very close to just getting an ice cream to takeaway.. once we were seated we then had to wait to place our order as the rolls weren't working.. once ordered the puddings we had were large, colourful and tasty.. myself and son used the toilets.. the ladies loos were disgusting.. the locks on the doors were broken, the floor was wet around the toilet, the toilet seat was hanging on and the one toilet had no toilet roll! As a result we didn't go.

We came here on Saturday, and enjoyed our desserts - we clearly enjoyed them more than previous reviewers below! It's not fantastic, the music is ridiculously loud, it's expensive, but we (five us) enjoyed our desserts. The portions are a fair size, but they need to be for the price. The staff are ok, they're all young, and they don't seem to bother with manners, maybe some training on customer service would benefit this establishment.

3 people behind the counter with one person seeming to do everything.. serving, making food and taking orders. Other two people just wandering about cleaning behind counter. Yet again a shocking visit to a very well known dessert restaurant

The closing time is 10pm on a weekday, but everytime i go at around 9pm they always tell me theyre closed. This has happened 3 times now. I understand at 9.30 its takeaway only, but even this service is not offered. Im actually wondering if the owner knows that they are doing this. As much as i like to support gloucester businesses i was left no choice but to go to the cheltenham one, which to be fair was pretty naff aswell. Anyway i cant really say whether or not this place is good or bad in terms of theyre food and service, as ive never been given the opportunity to eat at this establishment. But if you go make sure you go prior to 8.30 to avoid disappointment.

We visited here with family to treat the kids. There is a large choice of dishes to choose from and after ordering, the deserts were quickly brought to our table. The portions are large and they were enjoyed by all. Even the fussy grandchildren finished theirs. Definite worth a visit if you have the unfortunate opportunity of visiting Gloucester on Saturday near Christmas!!!

First time trying kaspas. I had the Nutella waffle and Maltesers milkshake. Very disappointed with the milkshake didn't taste anything like Maltesers just tasted like vanilla ice cream. There was way too much Nutella on the waffle, ate half of it and couldn't eat the rest because it was so sickly, maybe I should of had some fruit on it. The wait for our desserts was ridiculous it wasn't that busy and we still waited 30 minutes for 5 desserts. Our milkshakes came out within 10 minutes though. All in all I was very disappointed.

I went on a Sunday eve with low expectations after reading various reviews and was glad that I ignored them. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good attention to detail but more importantly a great waffle! It's not often I don't finish a desert but this time I was beaten hands down...

Food was good but staff were rude. They didn't care that we had been waiting over 15 minutes for our last dessert when we had all our others and when they brought it out, they didn't care that it was the wrong dessert.

My Visit to Kaspas was far from exciting, member of staff stood outside talking to a homeless guy for a considerable amount of time while approximately 50 or so pupils from the local girls school decended on the place, I think her time would have been better used serving some customers, It was very warm in there and little air flow, the floors and tables were clean, I had a baberry which was huge I couldn't eat it all, Hubby had the after eight sundae he enjoyed his, The coffee was lovely, I wouldn't be in a hurry to go back, the cost seem fair for what you were getting most restaurants charge over 5.00 for a dessert. Staff need to step their game up a lot

The music weekend recently we decided to treat the kids to an icecream and a drink. Taken to table. We made our order and paid then waited and waited and waited. Over 30 minutes later a can of drink arrived minus 3 other drinks, shakes. 15 minutes later 2 desserts arrived minus 2 other desserts and still no shakes. After nearly 50 minutes and still no further attention we asked where the rest of our order was. Waiter said that it had not even been started on. During the 50 minutes of waiting other people were coming in and being served. We told the manager about the extremely bad service and that we were not happy and asked for the refund on the order we never received. He looked at us at the table to suggest we were pulling a fast one (well that's the impression he gave us). We did get the refund but no apology whatsoever. I think if I had not said anything we would have carried on sitting there for the rest of the afternoon. Customer service is 0. Cleanliness needs to be looked at. The prepping area is a mess. By the way the restaurant was not busy and no queues of people when we walked in, so no excuses. Will not be visiting again and will not be recommending the Gloucester Branch.

Took our son in for a treat. Staff really struggled understanding our simple order and after a considerable wait brought a desert but without the sides. They took it back and the second time a different member of staff brought out the wrong desert with the side order. Third time we finally received the correct order, but some 25 minutes had passed. It was very nice, but the experience was spoiled by the poor service and the long wait. Shame as it could/should be great.

Food generally is good, staff can sometimes let it down, although the Gloucester one is much better than the Cheltenham one all round

Honestly, I shouldn't have bothered ordering after seeing the state of the prep area and the disorganised staff. Stay away

The niece had raved about this American style dessert diner so we called in for sweet treat. The decor is a cross between a grown up Barbie palace and gentlemen's club! I tried a Ferrero rocher shake and waffle smoothed in nutella, banana and caramel sauce. Hubbie tried pistachio sundae and niece opted for oreo shake and strawberry waffle. All was very good but service was slow and music seemed loud as it wasn't very busy. If you have a sweet tooth or fancy a change from standard dessert fare, this is definately one to try, especially for families with children and teenagers.

Went to the Gloucester kaspas ordered for me and harley , Harleys order turned up after 10 min which was to be expected as they seemed a little busy ... Mine took a further 15min by this time harley had finished his !!!!,I had asked the manager where my order was he had said twice on it way ! I asked for a refund ,I had no apology !!!!!

Visited one evening round 7pm and was fairly quite on arrival. Seated and given menus and informed we had to order at the counter when ready. Lots of staff on shift who were fairly helpful. Dessert was delicious if a bit too big to manage but that's not a complaint! Only thing I would mention is the music was far too loud...it was like sitting in a club which made it hard to hold conversation!

We visited Kaspas it but to be honest I was not that impressed the staff were chatting more the servings and the food was pricey but pretty. My friend was waiting 35 mins for a milkshake! I'm not sure if it's just this Kaspas but I don't recommend it. :(

So so disappointed. The desserts look great ... And the ones that came out to every table looked brilliant. Except ours never appeared. Able after table of people who arrived and ordered after us were being served. No apology from the staff so we agreed it best to leave it at that. Looks a good place, if a bit cramped in terms of table layout, and the desserts genuinely looked good and value for money certainly seemed reasonable. But customer service is always the most important thing and on this they failed miserably. Get this sorted out and I'm sure they'll have a much higher average rating. I can only offer one star, should've zero really. I will return and hope to have a better experience, but not in the too immediate future. Very disappointed.

Seated upon arrival, tables are very close together. Prompt service however they forgot the milkshake on our order. When we asked for it we had to produce our receipt as evidence that we ordered it. The fudge cake was ok and the ice cream was like the one you get at Pizza Hut. My daughter enjoyed her crepes. Would I go again - may be but not in a hurry the location is where the buses go back and forth which blocks the light out on occasions. Be mindful though if you park in the multi-storey carpark, the access via the shopping centre closes around 6.00pm otherwise you would have to walk up the ramp.

Went in for my birthday with 5 others, tried to call ahead to make a reservation was promised a call back from manager to confirm which never happened. So we showed up and luckily they had a table available. Did get a free milkshake but only very limited selection, it's possible I had more options but the music was so loud I couldn't hear our waitstaff standing three feet away. Milkshake was very bland, most of waitstaff appeared bored and frazzled. Ice cream sundae was average, I was expecting great things given its £7, but very bland funny tasting chocolate ice cream and soft serve chippy type vanilla the only good bits were the two ferreo rocher chocolates and chocolate sauce on top. One of my friends had her order wrong, it was sent back and took over 30 minutes to get correct order, this was only after she got up to chase the order after 20 minutes. I don't mind paying for the food immediately, but I think it gives you very little opportunity to complain should something not go right. I would have expected the manager to offer a coupon or some valid explanation as to why her dessert took 30 to correctly create as it was a waffle with chocolate sauce which should have taken 5 minutes to create.

My family and myself paid a visit to kaspas in Gloucester yesterday for a treat .....wow absolutely delicious...it was busy so we had to wait for a table ( not a issue for us ) my eldest decided on 3 scoops ( strawberry,vanilla & bubblegum) my partner had a Belgium waffle ( almost filled the plate ) with choc sauce and peanut m&m;'s and vanilla ice cream and I shared a chocolate hazelnut ice cream sundae with ferrero rocher we did have quite a bit of a wait but they were very busy but what a treat ..the absolute pleasure for anyone with a sweet tooth young or old alike ...can't wait to go back xx

This place could be good but they are not meeting expectations at the moment. Their demographic seems to be kids/teens and this is obvious from the glittery pink decor and loud music. They have a nice selection of desserts but having tried a few they are nothing special and a bit overpriced. The ice cream that accompanies the desserts is very bland yet they have a selection of other flavours on display in a cabinet but it's like £1.50 onwards for a scoop.. They have table service now but insist on payment upfront.. Probably wouldn't recommend

Had to get a refund for a piece of carrot cake which was stale. On another occasion I was served cold custard with my dessert. The music was too loud and the place is full of teenagers. They have an unusual policy of table service where you must pay upfront. My dad was served half a cup of lukewarm coffee. They really need to up their game.

Came here on Saturday 28th for the first time! And will never come again!

We visited here this weekend at a lunchtime, we were seated quickly and given a menu. The waiter took our order very quickly and swiftly brought the bill and card machine over so we could pay (prior to getting our desert or drinks). We then paid and waited a further 40 minutes with no food or drinks.

So a group of 7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children thought we would give Kaspa's a go last night. We like the one in Swindon so thought we'd give the Gloucester one a shot.

Went there with my partner and daughter on a Saturday at 1pm. We were expecting a mixed age of people to be there however it was like a youth club with no adult supervision with gangs of kids shouting, screaming and swearing.

Although the service from the staff was acceptable it was like a building site with drilling and sawing going on very loudly so we couldn't even talk to each other. The staff response was to turn the music up even louder. One Justin Bieber song on repeat full blast is not a relaxing atmosphere!

When I first visited Kaspas in April the experience was really good we visited today and it was very poor the staff was rude we seemed very rushed and it wasn't a nice atmosphere definitely would not go again

Very disappointed in this place on our first visit. Our order was taken at the table but then we were hurriedly expected to pay before we had even our food and drink, some of which had to be chased up. Think it would have been better if the staff had concentrated on getting the food to the customers and checking if they were happy with it before hassling to be paid! Due to the strange way we were served it did not feel easy to add anything on to bill especially when paying by card. The menu was also taken away from us so we could not look to see if there was anything else we wanted or what we might be interested in trying if we came back in the future. I did end up ordering another mug of tea but was very disappointed when the staff turned up immediately for payment yet could have turned up with the tea at the same time as the bill. Unimpressed, food and drink was nice, just a shame about the service!
