We made the trip to kaspa's and it was take away only. If you plan on going and eating in ...... your need to check in advance. Ice cream still tasted as good as always.

I come here often when I'm in near Park Street and wanting a sweet treat. Lately, they haven't been letting us eat in so the past few times we've come in, they only allowed takeaway which I don't understand because the area where you eat in looked fine and empty. My usual order is a strawberries and chocolate crepe with whipped cream which is delicious. I really like that they also give samples of their ice cream. I'd rather eat inside so I hope they are able to open the seating soon although I don't get much signal in there and its very dark.

For some reason we had it in our head to get a dessert on park street then head off for a cocktail . Unfortunately having not done enough research we found ourselves at kaspas on a hot Thursday night. First impressions were that it’s a huge, empty cathedral long forgotten and lacking worshippers. Gaudily decorated with bright colours and wall to wall mirrors- the holy God of desserts had long abandoned this place. The way to the main seating is blocked. ‘seating closed, takeaway only’ and we both wonder how the hell this prime real estate is being financed, we are the only customers, it it 8pm and this is open until 11. The people running it seem like they’re the same family. A young lady sullenly declares that they don’t have everything and keeps asking her male compatriot to check. I mean they serve desserts. Surely the very basics are to know what you have left? My wife compliments another girls Nirvana T-Shirt. The girl looks at my wife like she is mad. Later we wonder whether she thought her T-shirt had religious connotations and was not in fact a tribute to one of the best bands to exist. After some back and forth we settle on a brownie ice cream thing and chocolate fudge cake, too polite to leave even though the examples of desserts under the counter look like a young child’s bad drawing. After too much time I realise they are being boxed up in a huge amount of packaging. We had been sitting at the stall in front of the counter. If I was going in for takeaway I’d just go to Tescos surely? I wouldn’t have walked up a massive hil!. I ask if we can eat at the stall and am told that will be ok. It’s not the luxurious experience I imagined. Dessert is very sweet and mediocre. Of course frozen and bought in. £8-£9 each. I could have got so much Greggs for that . An equally disappointing and confusing place, we won’t go again. Very, very bad.

Oh dear. What a weird place…. Went on a whim and were met by three very young members of staff in a completely empty restaurant. Pretty much everything we asked for was unavailable (or someone was sent downstairs to check, only for it to not be available after all). Despite this there were weird sample dishes of the menu items on display for you to look at to see what you were missing out on. We eventually ordered a couple of items and sat down to wait. Considering these were desserts, they took an unfeasibly long time to arrive, and when they did they were presented in takeaway packaging despite the fact we were eating in. The waste was incredible - my cake was in a plastic box and my scoop of ice cream was in another plastic pot on the side, husband’s dessert was in yet more plastic, all accompanied by 2 x wooden knives, forks and spoons and the fattest wedge of napkins. The desserts themselves were a cross between Vienetta and McFlurry - nothing special at all and definitely not made to order. I can only assume this place is a front for something else as it looks run down, has no customers, does rubbish desserts and packages them up in all the plastic available to mankind. Really, do not bother.

Gelato abbastanza buono ma con rapporto qualità-prezzo scarso, waffle al contrario molto buoni, poi ci mettono davvero tanto a preparare le cose e spesso mancano ingredienti - frutta o gelato.

Food is delicious! My favourite is the Bueno Waffle, cool restaurant with 80s atmosphere, clean well maintained. Staff are good. For the food I think its a pretty fair prices.

I came here today and asked for the dairy free options. I was glad to find there were multiple sorbet options. I had watermelon sorbet in a cone and it cost £2.95. The flavour was strong and I really enjoyed it. The speed of service was good and the staff were friendly. I will likely come here again.

Me and my boyfriend ordered a crepe each , they was absolutely devastating , they was rubbery like you was biting into a wrap more than a crepe . They gave us the tiniest bit of ice cream forgetting my boyfriends ice cream aswel… the bueno tasted stale … honestly I was looking forward to coming back this kaspas but this time was probably the last time at this specific one . Just wanted to add aswel that the best part of this desert was wiping the excess of it off my face.

We’ve tried to go 3 times and it’s been shut and then it was only takeaway and no cookie dough very dissapointing 😔😡

We have been to kaspas twice in the past 2 months , and both occasions service has been poor, first visit we couldn’t sit in due to maintenance we couldn’t have what we asked for due to machines not working, second visit same again no eating in due to maintenance and couldn’t have what we wanted due to broken down ovens, when questioned “ how long has it been like this ?” Was told only a few weeks, which is clearly a lie due to our first visit a few months back. Phone lines are non existent which is not helpful when your travelling a 25 minute drive to visit your restaurant. Overall a very disappointing visit again to your restaurant.

Service is too slow I got served after people who I came before. The waffles weee too oily all I could taste was oil. No bananas so they didn’t even substitute with more strawberries but I paid the price of bananas and strawberries. They only told me after they had already made it.

Horrible experience I walked in at 22:00 and they said we close even tho it says they close at 23:00

Today was awful service. Staff bored on the till doesn’t want to serve anything to anyone. On the door step information: Takeaway only. Disgraceful behaviour and service.

Walked 20mins, up hill and steps, only for them to have closed off the seating area, take out only!! 😞

They do samples. I like the wide range of flavors they have here. I enjoy their gelato and sorbets. Their prices seem about on par for this location. They don't do anything too innovative, but who does anymore, amirite?

Terrible, hard waffle couldnt cut it, hardly any topping, didnt have the topping I wanted so replaced with something else and had around 7 slices of strawberries and barely any chocolate waste of money

Went there on Sunday and it was closed even though it says they are open until 11pm ! Avoid

Food Delivered was exposed to the elements and not safe from cross contamination. Driver turned up with to boxes both open from back and front. All they had to do was put the boxes in a bag, fold and then staple it shut…..terrible! No care for presentation or food safety. Avoid delivery!!!!

Allergen safety beware. Ordered a peach boba tea with lychee boba, clearly stated on their allergen page as NOT Containing dairy . The drink came, curdled and hot (never ever had a boba tea hot before!) I took it back and the woman said oh it looks like that as it has creamer in it , and I said not according to your allergen page ! She argued that it does , and then she said she will make a lychee one , so I said well no, because the peach doesn't contain milk either , and it's curdled because you've put creamer in it, she then chatted to another colleague and realised her mistake but said she would make another one but it will be the same outcome ! I said I don't trust you, and I'd like a bottled drink instead, which she gave 2 J20's for . This is highly dangerous practice and I believe against the law to be putting allergens in products that state they are free from that allergen. Thankfully my daughter didn't drink it anyway, it looked like frothy mud that was boiling hot ! What was much worse , was after this, whilst eating her Sorbet , also free from milk allergens , we discovered it was contaminated with chocolate towards the bottom. This makes me concerned for the general food safety and hygiene here and for that , be very careful if you dine here . Shocking experience

Lovely establishment! Favourite dessert place in Bristol. There were rude customers but the staff handled the situation with great patience. Bless the staff.

40 mins for a milkshake. Understaffed. Untrained. Shut it down if you can’t run it.

I ordered the banoffee pancake and in the description it said it was gonna have caramelised bananas with caramel sauce, when it came it tasted like a microwave pancake and it was just sliced bananas with caramel sauce and it tasted like coffee. The bananas wasn't caramelised at all.

I mean what’s the point of having opening timing when you don’t even follow them it’s a shame, I feel like they always rushing to shut early even though when there’s a good 45 min left..

This place is absolutely filthy! The presented food at the front looks like it’s been there through an apocalypse, half the ice cream containers are empty or with old remnant’s of what use to be in there. The floors are disgustingly dirty. The whole place is just gross. Avoid.

Very, very poor. Bland, cold waffle with additional hair 🤮 Many items out of stock. Confusion as to what 'Vanilla' ice cream is. Overall, just really disappointing. Probably won't come back.

Absolutely rude and not helpful staff.Give desserts (in evening) take away only, with NO cutlery or tissues. Cookie dough looks like someone already eaten. Cleanliness slight issue, staff walking around wearing airpods. Waffles and Crepes came cold while we were the only customers, clearly nothing made fresh

Staff were using inappropriate language with customers in store… Staff were behind the bar and talking loud. The manager I believe with casual clothes was not even bother to approach the girl and tell them off. Bar was not clean at all. Poor organisation. Tables and floor very sticky.

Options looked a little lacking but could have been time of day

Visited during a Saturday night for some crepes. They only had waffles but that was still nice. Not cheap, but not crazy expensive (considering everything is expensive these days). Staff were kind enough.

I wish I had read the reviews before I went into this place. I honestly think this place should be shut down. It is so dirty. Even my napkin was dirty when I received it with the food. There was only me and one other customer but when I went to the counter no one served me for a good 5 mins even though there was 3 members of staff behind the counter. They didn’t have any drinks and could only offer me tap water which is insane. I heard other people come in who couldn’t order any of the stuff they wanted from the menu. I honestly wish I had never spent my money here.

A terrible experience. From the outside it looked as if the place was closed down. There were boxes everywhere, bags of what looked like cement on tables. I ordered a slushy with bubbles they had none available. I then ordered a crepe with strawberries and banana. They had no banana so I asked for the missing item to be replaced with chocolate fudge cake. When it arrived I had bueno pieces and about 3 strawberries. The pancake was cold, dry, bland and like eating shoe leather, there was barely any strawberries and no chocolate inside the pancake it was just like a folded piece of cardboard.. I also had to listen to a member of staff talking loudly about how I could not have chocolate brownies instead of banana and that he should not have given it to me. Totally unacceptable for me to have to listen to this as a customer who has been told they don't have 3 things I've asked for. It was extremely rude. I did tell the staff what I thought of their pancake it was the worst I have ever had and I've tried alot of them. The staff answered with sorry but we just make them how we are told its not our fault. This was the same girl who was talking about me. Take some responsibility you made the pancake there was no apology made. Very unprofessional to talk about a customer that can hear you. I will never return to this place again. They say don't judge a book by its cover but I wish I had when I saw the outside looking so shabby

If environmental health turned up I think they would shut it down. It's tired, grotty, dirty the toilets are disgusting. The service is terrible, it's like the staff can't even stand to be there. The deserts are overpriced and average. I will give Kaspa's credit as they are consistent as they are all pretty similar in their standards from the ones I have been in locally.

Went there at 915pm on 27/08/23 with my family,they said they’re doing takeaways only at that time,very frustrating as we thought that it was plenty of time to eat out desserts,i get it know one like serving late night customers but 915pm when you close at 11pm???? Saw quite a few customers like leave

Where to start??? We went on a weekend just about 4pm, prime time you'd think. What we found felt like a den of depression. The welcome was none existent to the point of almost being looked at as a nuisance for simply opening the door. The place was dirty, the disabled toilets out of order, and clearly had been for a long time. Now being used as a cleaning dump room (not store room as items hurled in). We found a semi clean table and sat down, the only other customer in there warned us certain things weren't available while the 4 staff chatted to each other. I went to the counter to check for allergies, no one knew anything and just looked at me blankly before turning to the next. In the end I told the manager what would likly be the case as he came back in from smoking in the doorway. It was at this point I notice the scrawled note on the desk and asked if this was the only 5 flavors they had left available. A grunt acknowledged it was - at no point was any information offered. We collected our things and left going to Mrs Potts Chocolate House down the road. Far better option in both deserts and to get away from the horrendous music being piped in at an unrequired level. There is no reason for you to go here, honestly wall down the hill and enjoy your time elsewhere.

I took a trip to kaspas today I ordered a waffle which was dry and crumbling so I was offered a refund which the cashier did not even know how to do she had to phone someone to ask how to do it. I got home to realise that I have not got my refund I was charged for another waffle I called the store and the man on the phone was very very rude and did not offer any help and accused me of lying I said I was happy to email my bank statement and he went to put the phone down which he did not without realising I heard him then going on to tell his colleagues about the situation and laughing about it and then went on to called someone else to laugh about it highly disrespectful. I have still not got my money refunded.

One of the worst coffe what I drunk lately. Lots of positions in menu but also lots of not available in real haha... not very good experience. Waffels also not tasty. Ice cream machine not available aswell . Staff 2/5 . Not gonna come back there any more👌👌

Slow sloppy service. Disinterested staff. The place was very quiet, more staff than customers. They just didn’t want to serve I guess. A cloak of invisibility surrounds the customers as they enter and you won't be greeted very pleasantly. Whilst you wait for your anticipated cool dessert pick any flavour, you might not be served the one you order anyroad. It's cheap, it's sweet. It's very sweet, oh I said that. It's fake. There's better on the same road 😔😔😔😐

Had to order via the online app. Service was very slow and the added extras were not included. Each individual item came separately. So for two desserts and two drinks this took quite a while, despite one item being a bottle of juice with a straw in it. Toilets were awful with the sink coming away from the wall. And cleanliness was not scheduled. Added to all this was the two employees were having an argument and swearing very loudly. Very unprofessional. I would not go back and advise anyone to avoid this place. It's a shame as it looks good from the outside.

Had a take away cookie dough and sundae this evening- food was lovely but the poor, rude service is now reflecting on my rating. We told it was roughly a 15 minute wait- to then have waited 50mins with no update or apology. Staff became rude towards us and said if we had a problem to make a formal complaint then refused to give their names. Sad as the deserts are lovely- just a shame about the experience

Not even 1 star !!! Short staff is understanding but no rules,no organisation at all. The management should do something about this. Just about 10pm and no seatings available. Yes they have to clean but 1 hour early it’s a bit quick to close the seating area. If you like waiting and sometimes being ignored then this is the place to be.

Delicious Desserts The big deal is to select one item from their menu. They have a collection of choices but I have never tried their sundae as they are not available any time. Anyway their waffles with ice cream and crepes are super yummy. Lovely place to eat with family if it is not crowded as The service is not great when the place gets little crowded. Please do not visit if you have diabetes 😂 I’m giving 2 stars since the service was very poor and careless. 1. They doesn’t know which table ordered which item. They ask every table what they ordered. Its kind of awkward as we forget the fancy names of the items. 2. I found a strip of hair in my plate which was disgusting. 3. We ordered 5 items and received only two at first and the other 3 came after about 40 mins when we went and reminded them as they forgot about the order . This totally ruined our appetite and time. 4. Ordered milk cake and got a brownie. The staff is very confused with orders when there are more people. 5. Limited ice cream flavours available Visited this place for the second time but definitely not going again anytime.

Worst kaspas I’ve ever been to in my life. No fresh ice cream, no crepes no milkshakes. Staff were not helpful. Very sad to see.

The crepe was dry and hard, and not fully warm. The service was extremely poor, they just stared us straight in the face blankly when we walked in instead of greeting us or offering us to seat us?! One of us ordered a mango sorbet and they gave us the wrong flavour, then when they replaced it there was a hair in it. Really disappointing experience.

They ran out of almost everything. Will never return to this store again, many families were disappointed at their lack of supply. They had no brownies, they didn’t have the waffle I wanted & they didn’t even have a chocolate fudge sundae. The store wasn’t very welcoming at all, the seating area is so cramp. They even got my friends order wrong! Very disappointing!

I ordered the Banoffee waffle and carrot cake and both were inedible and had to be binned. The waffle was not properly cooked, it was cold and the sauce had very minimal taste. The carrot cakes icing had turned to this thick paste and looked like it had melted off the cake. The sponge was hard and not cake like in the slightest. Really disappointed as used to love this place.

Drove around 15miles to get here after reading online that it was open until 11pm! Was super excited…until….a bunch of staff were smoking outside (which smelt like weed) upon waking to them. They were so rude and said where do you think you’re going as we are closed! Like why wasn’t the website updated…so disappointed and a waste of time. Might as well close the place down. Ended up going down to Swoons which was actually open! Did us a favour as the ice cream tasted soooo much better! Close down your business.

First impressions count, u went in and the place was empty when we went, soon realised why. I ordered a crepe, I was bought out quickly but. the quality of the food was the worst I've ever experienced. I make crepes and know how they should taste. The kasper crepe served up was so tough I could hardly cut it and it tasted stale. Like it was heated in a microwave straight from the freezer or something. It was absolutely drowned in chocolate sauce like they wanted to hide the fact. The ice cream I wanted was out of stock, and the ice-cream didn't taste good either. I paid about £12, totally a waste of money and time. I complained and then member of staff quickly offered to replace, she didny say it was freshly made or anything. I then had a waffle as a replacement, which was fresh and much better. But sorry, first impressions count and I wont be returning.

Visited the Bristol store today as a treat for my children but we were left very disappointed by the service we received and if it hadn’t of been for them looking forward to going after bowling I would of left. we were seated by a very miserable member of staff who didn’t speak so after a while of sitting and looking over menu I assumed we had to order at the counter but wasn’t made aware of this as we hadn’t been before, I ordered and was told we couldn’t have as no ice cream again wasn’t told this when we were seated, I said we weren’t told she says there’s a sign there look, there was indeed a sign scribbled on a piece of a4 paper taped to a fridge but all they had was soft ice cream so I asked could they add brownie to this so it is similar to sundae and I got glared and huffed at she says ummm yeah I think so. The “sundaes” were brought over and shoved on table it’s no wonder this place was empty we were left very disappointed and cross and won’t be returning.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! Toilets were disgusting. Service was shocking - one worker was on FaceTime shouting whilst we was supposed to be working. The food was the worst food I’ve ever eaten. I couldn’t even cut the crepe and the ice cream tasted like chemicals. The cutlery brought to our table was filthy and the coke I ordered was warm even though it was from the fridge. The decor was falling apart too. We didn’t even finish our food, we just left. DO NOT GO HERE!

Not a great experience. They had run out of most ice cream flavours, and had no chilled soft drinks available. I ordered white chocolate cookie dough but was given milk chocolate by mistake, and my friends order turned up quite late despite him only ordering ice cream and the restaurant being practically empty.

Most of icecreams flavours are unavaliable. Strawberry cheescake is like chewing gum. Cones are old, hard to eat. Terrible experience.

Stand out positives were speed of service. With 7 orders to fulfill, we were not waiting long at all for our order. Overall the deserts were tasty. Down side, some of the deserts were small portions and other competitors offer better value for money. Restaurant area clean and tidy. Toilet tap loose and detached from basin in one of the units. Nice but would not go again.

Food so delicious, I recommend to visited it.

Going down here at speed, staff are just turning up for wages not to serve customers Basic hygiene rules not followed- Gloves Broken equipment and furniture Deserts never prepared the same How long does it take to cook a waffle !! Not 30 minutes and not even apologise.

Nice menu but the place is pretty rundown. Seating is ripped, bathroom was dirty, the chocolate flakes on my sundae were the cheap ones that taste plasticky rather than real chocolate. The staff were friendly enough but all in all I don't think it was worth nearly £20 for the two of us

Had some sickly waffle and no stock horrible experience

Took my 4 year old granddaughter in as she wanted a scoop of ice cream to take away. I was told to wait at the counter. After a while I was acknowledged to be told it was 20 minutes for a scoop of ice cream. It was just me at the counter and she was stood next to the ice cream. Needless to say I didn’t wait. Unfortunately this place won’t be here long with such bad service.

Not a destination for those on a heath trip, the sugar content is off the scale... but in a really good way. Save this place for the occasional guilty mega calorie treat and you'll not regret it.

Polite and friendly staff. I always rate customer customer on top of everything. So 10/10 on customer service. We went there with kids after dinner so we were not hungry. We tried an ice cream kids raspberry waffle and chocolate & caramel waffle. They ran out few flavours so we had to choose different flavours than what we initially decided. We liked ice cream and normal chocolate waffle but kids one was not up to standard, next will probably choose from normal menu even for kids.

Very good place. We decided to go there for ice cream after big dinner in another place so we were not hungry at all but delicious aroma that was in the cafe stole our harts!) We were ready to eat everything there was) Children tried gelato and they fined it so delicious. I tasted smoothie which was nice but to cold for such a cold weather. My friend tasted bubble tea and find that flavour a little but different from original and also too cold. Staff was nice and kind but looked a bit exhausted 🤪 We enjoyed our stay there and going to come back soon

Food is lovely, full of sugar and calories for the kids. Had a waffle with whipped cream and strawberries saw them getting made on the waffle maker. Overall, good for a treat and getting the family together.

Disgusting sitting area with food in the floor, new workers who don’t have a clue, burnt waffles served with a sweaty smelling shop putting me off even eating the food I ordered. Don’t recommend.

Loved every time I came. Not only great variety of ice creams with amazing desserts, but everyone is so friendly and nice.

Staff was friendly. We arrived 45min before closing time, they were already cleaning everything and they managed to serve us with a big smile and a lot of patience (we didn’t know what to choose). We could try some flavors before ordering. The 4stars is just because the quality of the crepe dough was not the best and the hazelnut chocolate is not Nutella…it doesn’t taste much like hazelnut chocolate. The price was ok and they have NHS discount.

Visited the Park Street store yesterday. I asked for an allergen book which I have been presented with in your Weston store previously. Your employees looked confused. I then mentioned I was Gluten Free and the reply I got from one of your employees was, what’s that, that’s vegan isn’t it? I’m appalled that your staff have no education on allergies. Your staff should be aware of this working in a food environment. Will not be visiting again!

customer service is atrocious and rude

Enjoyed my strawberries and butterscotch waffles- perfect sweetness and portion. Asked for whipped cream but was given ice cream- still ate it anyway because it was yum! We were the only ones in there! Clean and been before and will go again

Only a few choices of ice cream and they didn't do childrens portions. Staff friendly.

The kids love this place. Just be prepared for a hyper-headache on the way home 😅

Seen on Google maps as a must to visit with my youngest on trip to Bristol. Ice cream waffle front the menu, plus shake. The shop is clean and comfortable. Great venue in a town with lots of lovely places.

My uncle came here a few days ago and said he really enjoyed the waffle with strawberry, white chocolate sauce and crushed digestives. He took a photo of it, he said it looked delicious!! Since I haven’t been there myself yet I’m not going to rate it 4-5 stars, but when I do go I’ll change what I rate it depending on my experience. I’ll update my review each time I go. #1 Update: my uncle went again and he had a ice-cream Sunday and he really loved it!! #2 update: I went and had a waffle it was amazing definitely going to go again at some point, I want to try some of there cakes! Another great thing about this place is the staff are so wonderful and nice :) #3 update: I thought I’d try something different this time, so I tried the chocolate fudge cake and the Black Forest cake. Now I was very disappointed with these… wouldn’t recommend either tbh ~ Black Forest: this one is okay… but the cherry flavour is overpowering and ruined it all its way to strong ~ the chocolate fudge cake was nasty there was some sort of spicy flavour to it I literally couldn’t finish it. Out of the two the Black Forest was better however I would get either again…. #4 update: We went again for my uncles birthday where he got a free cake. We also brought 2 strawberry shortcake waffles ~ The cake was the strawberry gateau which was honestly really nice I would definitely recommend it! When I had tried a bit I was quite sceptical before of the other cakes I’ve tried but this was really good honestly!! This time was really amazing!

Very loud music blaring. No service if with EE/BT or Wi-Fi in the building. Best bet is to takeaway.

This place has the potential to be good. Efficient and friendly service, excellent food and drinks but the most appalling noise they call music - and so loud. Conversation was impossible. We rushed our food and drink and got out of this hell in Longwell Green. Pity because it could be so brilliant.

That's an awful branch ! They haven't had a Sundays Milk shake Ice cream nothings Even they could serve cereps ! They should to close the shop

I walk in and already a tight squeeze, get my order after being told it would be a 10-15 wait then end up being nearly half an hour. Finally drinks getting made after watching them doing it using the same lid with other shakes then getting my drink both tasting like absolutely rubbish!! £10 on too shakes when I could off got a few tins of dog food with the same smell and taste!!!

Had a really good get together with friends, the staff were really griendly aswell. never been to a kaspas before but i was pleasantly surprised.Plenty of choice. Will definitely go back again.
