chicken tikka starter seem boiled, not dry as done in a oven not to my taste. madras sauce was tasty but the chicken was a bit tough. I would try again.

Dont bother! Lamb bhuna greasy and chicken tikka masala a poor imitation- tasted like tomato ketchup and coconut water blended together.. onion bajias were a strange combination of onion and something unidentifiable in the middle! In one word. Avoid!

Stated 6.45-7pm, arrived at 7.30pm after calling restaurant twice. Driver apparently went to wrong address, not sure how. Food arrived and was lukewarm. Shame as I use this restaurant often not sure I will in future.

Best Indian food we’ve ever had. First time having Chicken Tikka Masala and its my new favorite dish. All of the items we had were great. Much better than what I have eaten in America. Friendly staff and restaurant was very clean.

Food is average. Didn’t deliver a couple of items. One item was poorly prepared and one lacked seasoning. Rest were okay. There are other better options available in chester for the price. Wanted to find out whether I can order regularly from this place or not? Answer was a no from me. Would I order again? Unlikely.

They never delivered part of our order after being half an hour late. They later delivered the rest 45minutes later with stale poppadoms as a 'sorry'!

First time ordering, will order again. Chicken and mushroom rogan Josh, lamb madras, egg rice. Keema naan and poppadoms. Recommendation for the restaurant, maybe put some tape on the pots for the chutney, the lid came off too easily and we lost a pot.

Very disappointed. Don't normally like giving poor reviews but was warranted on this occasion. We ordered a takeaway to a nearby hotel. We had a chicken tikka masala with garlic nan and a dosa. First for the dosa. Was well made and nice and spicy. No issues on that one. Garlic nan were doughy and average at best. As for the tikla masala. It would have been better to heat up a tin of Heinz tomato soup. It would have tasted way better. Our tikka masala had a very odd sort of orangy fluorescent colour to it. I stated on the order page that I wanted a "spicy style" chicken tikka curry amd again reiterated "SPICY". Instead we got an EXTREMELY sweet chicken tikka curry and some sort of coconut cream which completely excessive. Not like the curries we are used to. Terrible.

You forgot the rice unbelievably unacceptable I’ve ordered the same thing for the last five orders. How can you forget the rice the rice When you pay 25 pounds you can’t forget the rice it ruins the meal. Very disappointing.

Fantastic food, I'm originally from Birmingham the home of the balti, well for the first time in 17 years I have come across great food like I had in Birmingham. Its amazing it tastes wonderful and they are not scared to use spice it's refreshing to finally find a place that serves great food. Thank you

Bhuna is supposed to be medium the curry I received was more like a madras and I could not eat it. I always have Bhuna and that was NOT a Bhuna. Supposed to be cooked with tomato not one in sight never again will I order from here!!!!

My opinion - this is the best curry house in Chester by far. If you're visiting Chester and fancy a curry, don't bother going out - stay in your hotel room and get a takeaway from Karai Lounge, you won't be disappointed.

Amazing food, don't leave reviews very often at all but also had some American friends over and they thought it was also amazing. Even forgot to order the rice and they called the driver back to pick up, great service & food. 😊
