High quality foods, perfect ambience and also very kindly workers. Especially owner is very good person. I visited this place with my family and friends and all of us were very happy. Thanks for everything. Strongly recommended.

We went to Kapadokya for dinner with our friends. The ambience was excellent so was the food. We had mixed kebab which was well cooked and delicious. The service was excellent and the staff was so welcoming. There is also a very unique decoration on the ceiling when we asked the owner he explained it is a special design for the restaurant with high quality of fabric. Worth seeing.

Another excellent meal. I come here regularly after work. Perfect quality meat, salad and everything else. Best turkish restaurant in the city. Managers and staff always go the extra 10 miles. You cant get a better deal anywhere else. You get more than what you pay for. Would 100% reccomend a visit if you are in york.

The place is excellent for an authentic Turkish meal. The food is delicious and the service is truly representing the Turkish hospitality. Aydin made our dinner a lovely experience. Very clean and welcoming place.

A lovely surprise - the food was really excellent. We had the chicken skewers, moussaka and lamb casserole and all were delicious. The bread with dips was really fabulous. We were full and weren't going to have dessert. In the end we ordered one baklava to share and I'm so glad we did - it was heavenly! Lovely friendly service too.

So disappointed! Overpriced and just so bland. My wife and I had looked forward to our meal all day. We were visiting York for the day and had booked an evening mealWe arrived at 6 and were first in the restaurant. We had a hot mixed mezze sharing starter which was just average but priced at £19:50. I then had the Kapadokya special which was expensive at £27:50. It was billed as an ancient recipe and sounded lovely so I went for it. However, I could have knocked it up myself in 10 mins and was nothing special. Certainly not worth the £27:50. Chicken in a honey sauce with peppers, dried apricots and rice. A bit of cinnamon around the edge of the plate. A big let down! My wife’s moussaka was similarly disappointing. Bland with what seemed an absence of seasoning and bizarrely no tomato. Maybe we chose the wrong meals, but it was just all a big let down. Won’t be going back.

Since we were here last (about 6 months ago) they've hiked the prices. We used to visit regularly but it's now not an option for us, especially since they said they weren't prepared to substitute one ingredient for a different one to help with a particular food allergy. I just wanted rice instead of croutons with a meal. Apparently it was impossible. So it's now overpriced and inflexible. We walked out and we won't be going back.

Food here is amazing. Great quality. Great service. We got chicken skewers, moussaka, humous, and filo with cheese, all made fresh, chicken skewers cooked on BBQ grill. Will defo be back.

Very authentic turkinsh cuisine cooked perfectly and well presented. Prices are reasonable and the food really is good. The Sigara Borek and beef sausage starters were great. For main, the lamb beyti was delicious and the lamb skewers perfect. Washed down with a great bottle of turkish White wine (Angora). Great dinner

We came here as park of restaurant week and we were not disappointed. The starters of turkish sausage and borek were well presented and delicious. The mains we chose of lamb and mousaka were tasty as well as filling. Nice atmosphere. Good service. Would definitely recommend this place.

Immaculately clean , you can see why it gets 5 stars for cleanliness. We got a very friendly welcome , the owners son looked after us . The food was absolutely delicious . We had had mains off the Grill menu , they all came with rice but we ordered fries to as an extra and you can see how they are using really fresh oil , best tasting fries . This is a fantastic family run restaurant, thoroughly recommend it .

Iskender kebab was very good especially as its hard to find a good iskender kebab. But as a Londoner visiting York I was met with London prices not York prices! The waiter was a lovely man and made us laugh a few times!

I would love to write a review for this amazing restaurant. Loved the town and loved the food. The staff is literally cheerful, kind and welcoming. Ayden received and served us and he is one of the best hospitality staff i have come across. One of the few halal restaurants in the town and worth visiting and eating there.

Went there on a weekday around 1800 o’clock. Plenty of seats so seating wasn’t a problem. Starters arrived fairly quickly and some of the staff were very friendly. Reasonably priced food for what you get. After mains we asked for tea. We waited a while and then we were told, in a rude way, to have it by the door next to the sanitization station 🤦‍♂️ because the table was needed. I look around and realize that there are several empty tables. Felt very disrespected! I pay my bill and leave because I am not sitting next to the door for a cup tea??!! Anyways 2 of the waiters were great; an English lady and a Turkish gentleman, thank you for your service.

Serving alcohol as a Muslik business is never a good sign, however my food was extremely dry and tasteless - just largely cut peppers whacked in a stew. My Wifes Kebab was good. Extremely expensive for what it is - way over the top. Had a shawarma from a takeaway elsewhere the next day instead and was 100x better than this restaurant.

Try to find halal food in york. The staff is nice and the place is clean. However, this portion of rice is not enough for me and i need to add more salt for my lamb soup’s taste.

We called in by chance and we're glad we did. There's a good menu to choose from to suit just about everyone, the stuffed vine leaves cold starter is beautifully mildly spiced which makes the flavour pop, my wife had Lamb mousaka and I had the minced lamb kofta......fantastic, flavoursome dishes. We will definitely go back again.

Food presentation was good, I ordered a mix grill. I asked for some bread which should have come before I was waiting for food with some dips or at least with the mix grill but was not complimentory like it is at Istanbul restaurant (Manchester). I asked for Turkish tea which should have come complimentory again but was charged for it, so don't go on others reviews of receiving it complimentory. Cheesecake was not nice and not worth the price at all, the ice cream was a frozen tub one. The chicken and the Adana kebab were nice, the lamb pieces and wings were not cooked to my liking and neither was the lamb chop (which had a suspicious smell to it).

We have had a large group dinner here for the last 3 years, and the food is always great! They deal with all the dietary requirements and always make a nice amount of space for our group of 50+ people.
