Kalimirch in The Vale of Glamorgan

Waited over 2 hours for the arrival of our meal. When it arrived, I was very disappointed, tough chicken, flavourless, mint sauce and condiments were poor quality, popadums were all broken. Will never order again, I will never recommend. Do not order if you are looking for authentic Indian cuisine.

Wow this was by far the worst curry we have ever had We come to Barry regularly and up till now have actually been very impressed with the food here. Like the last review it was bland and the chicken cut were add, strange cuts without any taste We have experienced this before at Indian restaurants. Kalimirch used to be the best takeaway in Barry. Unfortunately, recently we have not received the best takeaways. The food were too bland and just hot with no flavours. All the curry tastes the same. I have to say the service is the best as they are very quick and staff are lovely. I just hope it gets better how it was used to be..

Out go to curry house, even when it was Barry balti! Sheek kebab was delicious, tonight, we do normally order the lamb chops which are Devine! Normal lamb curry tonight, lamb fell apart it was that tender! Chips and rice are always lovely too! 10/10 have never had a bad meal!

Every time we order from here our food has been delicious. Always perfectly cooked and presented. Delivery is always at the time we request and low prices. Definitely would recommend, especially the speciality curries. Today we accidentally selected collection instead of delivery, after some time they tried to get hold of us and after they couldn't they sent it out for delivery, shows that they go above and beyond for their customers.

First take away from Kalimirch. Lamb bhuna and a paneer dish. Both excellent. No need to go elsewhere in the future.

Top tasty takeaway. Delicious, fresh, hot and on time delivery- would recommend and use again. Ordered for a family of 5 and plenty of food. Cheaper for delivery then for collection

Ordered a delivery on a Friday evening for the fam. Great food selection delivered on time for a big order. The quality and taste were fab and it was lovely and hot as well. I'd seen they'd won an award recently and I can see why now. Well deserved.

Friends had recommended Kalimirch so we tried it last Saturday night for a takeaway to celebrate my birthday. Food was excellent which made it easier to forgive the extra wait I had on collection because they were so busy. Great varied menu and reasonably priced. Will DEFINITELY be using them again.

Great take away, asked for a Maharaja bhuna which wasn’t on the menu, the chef made one for me and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. Very fast service also, only waited about 15 minutes on a very busy Saturday evening.

We were looking for a new local takeaway and came across Kalimirch. The food is varied, tastes good and arrives hot every time. Good service would highly recommend.

Love a good Indian meal every now and then, and don't get me wrong, some of the stuff is a bit pricey, but totally worth the price that you pay for it all. Always great service and food, never been disappointed with them.
