Wonderful service and a cool place to have lunch on a hot busy day in London. Coffee was delicious and the food (feta baguette) was crisp and fresh, generously filled. Waiters were very attentive and friendly

Best place to have a lovely coffee

It started with a bad experience as we entered the cafe, without being told that there was an additional fee, saying "you can go ahead and we'll serve it to the table". Then, even though I wanted a macchiato, espresso was delivered in a shot glass and I asked for a change. They said okay, they took the coffee away, nothing came, and they wrote it on the bill. Don't waste it, there are many better alternative places, and the prices on the menu do not include tax. It is not a suitable place for a Turkish business and it damages the brand.

We have been customers of the coffee world for many years. We prefer Dede Kahve Dünyası points for intercity travels. The personnel at your Nakkaş Güney sales point, instead of making sales, serve to tarnish your brand in order to drive away customers. We took a break at the facility around 18:00 on 18/07/2024 as it was the hottest day in Turkey. We ordered two freshly squeezed fruit juices, although they came out of the fridge and were said to be cold, the juice was at room temperature. When we wanted to add ice into it, we were told that the ice was too big and I could not put it in. (We wanted to pour it through the shaker but it was rejected) Then we asked for two iced glasses and they said it was forbidden. We said we could pay whatever the price was, unfortunately we did not get a positive response to that either. We left by taking fruit juices like imam's ablution water. By the way, the reason we didn't buy a cake was because flies were flying around in your cupboard where you displayed cakes, sandwiches and croissants. Our ice needs were supplied free of charge from another reputable and professional foreign chain store at the next stopover, whose name I do not wish to disclose. We hope you will take our comments into consideration and respond back.

The employees in the cafe are very friendly and polite. We were also very pleased with their service. The air conditioning and ventilation inside are very good for the hot London weather. There are sandwich and breakfast snack options. There are also plenty of ice cream and dessert options. If you want to drink classic Turkish tea, you may not be able to find it; tea bags are offered instead. Thanks again for the service.

Very nice coffee shop especially Turkish coffee and sweets together selected as sides are very nice… you can ask various types of coffees and sweets… the coffeee shop inside is really very nicely decoarated and person in charges are friendly.. I like turkish coffee so much and this place is one of the best that ypu can drink and buy as present or for your own home…

First of all, the person at the till did not understand English proficiently enough to serve customers. I asked her if they had sweetener and she told me about the vegan milk options, I explained what sweetener was politely and she proceeded to tell me about the syrups; when I finally managed to make her understand what I was asking she said they didn't have any but as I walked out I saw some on the tables outside. I walked back in and ordered a small turmeric late with almond milk, she entered cappuccino with hazelnut syrup, I corrected her and finally went to wait for my coffee. The gentleman making it was about to use cow's milk so again, I had to tell him it's almond milk, then he asked if I was hoping to get a shot of coffee in it as their turmeric latte didn't have coffee, it was just the milk and turmeric at £4.20, ludicrous!. Honestly, I should have just left in the first instance so I have no one to blame but myself in that regard. The latte wasn't anything special either, needless to say I won't be going back.

I came for afternoon tea two days in a row because I found my favorite carrot cake here, which has a rustic taste that I love. Today I also ordered baked apple cake, which was also very delicious with soft cream.

Remodeled in 2024, too bright, less enjoyable. I have been coming here for nearly 10 years. It has been one of my favourite coffee shops in London, until today. I've been away a few months and came back to a newly remodeled interior. Changed seating, OK. Changed wall decor, boring and not so beautiful anymore, OK although disappointing. However, the worst is the lighting. It is simply too bright and now it is uncomfortable to be here. My eyes hurt. I can't relax and enjoy my time here, as I've done for nearly 10 years. There are 75 lamps over the staff counter. 20 on their back wall. And another 50 lamps over the front corridor of the customer seating area. Why? It's too much. Unnecessary. Wasteful. Bad for the environment and waste of your electricity bills. Unpleasant. I don't think I will be coming back unless they reduce the seating area lighting. If they want to light up the product area near the door, fine. But what customers want to drink coffee under nearly the brightness of medical office level lighting? Please change this. You will lose customers and I heard the staff complained about it too. Love your food and drinks. Good staff. Poor atmosphere as of just recently. Please change this, thank you.

Hot chocolate always good. Asked if they do afternoon tea for 2, completely discouraging, I asked if they did vegetarian sandwiches as sandwiches are part of the afternoon tea. I couldn’t get a coherent response from either waiting staff. Very frustrating. Couldn’t understand this was for a future possible booking. Sort yourselves out please.

Lovely café! The turkish coffee was divine and I want to come back for the pastries and date ice cream! The man at the cashier was very nice and explained to me how to make salep, only negative was that the waiter that served us seemed very lost and kept messing up our orders so we had to ask someone else.

Date 27/04/2024. Most of the desserts on the menu are not available. The friendly Turkish service staff has changed, the decor has changed, there are no coffees we can buy. I am really sad.

It is a place where you can drink real Turkish coffee in London. The only problem is that there is only one toilet in such a large area.

Delicious hot chocolate! The carrot cake was so good. They are friendly here. One of the waiters, Mr. Pavan (I hope I remember his name correctly) was very accommodating and polite. Toilet was clean and well maintained. The dining area was actually cleaned well despite being crowded and in the center of a very crowded tourist place.

I have been a regular at this franchise in Turkey and unfortunately the quality hasn’t reflected to London, sadly. Coming from AUSTRALIA I was ecstatic when I stumbled across it in London. I really wanted a Baklava a nice pistachio one would have hit the right spot Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Turkish coffee was on point and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The borekitis ( Turkish minik poaca) with potato was small and one mouthful but it was warmed in microwave so it was chewy.

Awful service! they were almost empty and we had to wait for 45 min since we placed our order. In the end we had to leave! We waited 45 min for 3 icecreams that we never got them at the end!!! The managers behaviour and staff unacceptable. Staff luck of training, we had to confirm the order 3 times with the waitress then when we kept asking her where the order was she was saying it is coming we are preparing now... And only when they saw as leaving they took the glasses to put the ice cream in.

Their desserts are very fresh and delicious. Their coffee is nice too. The team is friendly and caring. Thanks to all the staff.

Amazing place amazing staff and amazing food We went there for my son’s birthday day and had a great time Ahmed and Ozgar and Vidayana were really wonderful and looked after us so well. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. Recommend this place highly good value for money. We had club sandwiches and there amazing cappuccino’s. Wish they did Turkish tea and Kunife . I have been coming to this cafe for years but have noticed that the last few times the service was extremely poor. It took them 20 min to clean the table where I was siting after previous people (I had to ask them to do it 4 times). Turkish delight and decaf turkish coffee were not available. Employees just standing and chatting. Avoid. Cafe definitely went downhill.

After a while, I came back to edit this review because I'm utterly shocked by what I have experienced after being a customer here since 2012. In 2012, my review would have 5 starts, but not anymore. It was one of our favourite places to have pistachio or vanilla ice cream along with real turkish coffee and any other food or drink. We went back after a while recently, and we were shocked by the state of the caffe. Soooo different to what it used to be. It's dirty, not looked after at all. Lamps covered in dust, including the shelves, floor not cleaned properly, furniture stained, walls scratched and not painted since probably opening, the paper placemats are being used several times, not onceike before. Literally falling apart looking place ( look at the picture of the cupboard. The glass shelves with food behind not wiped properly, you can see smages which putting you off to order anything. I was shocked when I sat to order my drink. This coffee is not the same Caffè we used to go to and definitely lost its spirit :-( . I would be embarrassed to invite or recommend this place to anyone.

Service slow. Go moved table to one under air con because the waitress accidentally put the wrong table number on our order 🤔.

I visited this place 3 times so far. For some reason they never serve you any hot drink. Coffee and hot chocolate are the worst I had cold no taste and horrible. The service was really bad. What ever you do don’t use their bathroom or you will be shocked and disgusted. It smells awful and looks awful. I have a feeling they don’t clean the bathroom at all. I made a decision that I will never go back again.

Had to change drinks 3 times, wasn’t given cutlery for dessert until I asked. Complained and got giggled at - I wouldn’t bring my dog here.

Service wasn’t the greatest. Order was misunderstood. Then they forgot about coffee which I waited half hour. By this time I was waiting for other family members to finish up. The rudest thing was by 10pm. The manager came n clapped several time. Said we’re closing you all have to leave. I couldn’t believe it. I went and said the reason why we’re still here. Anyway I asked for a refund and wanted a refund for service charge to. Asked for her name. Which she didn’t even look my way. Had her back to me. So rude.

Super schöner Ort zum Runterkommen❤️ statt Kaffee haben wir kalte Getränke ausprobiert und waren mehr als zufrieden. Der Fresh Lemonade Mint Frozen ist sehr empfehlenswert, für die, die nach Erfrischung suchen👍🏼 Die Auswahl an Desserts und Getränken ist sehr groß und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt definitiv. Das Personal war super nett und trotz der überfüllten Kundschaft sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit😇

Walked in at around 7, were told they cannot do take out orders so we chose to sit in. Asked if the hot chocolates were thick, and was assured they are, so we ordered 1 premium hot chocolate and 1 white peach lemonade. 20 minutes later, our waiter realises our drinks haven’t come and seems to go and chase it up. Eventually, 1 regular hot chocolate turns up at the table. Not what we ordered. When we complain, our waiter seems exasperated with the kitchen and apologises. Eventually, the lemonade and hot chocolate come as ordered - the quality of the hot chocolate was average, and certainly not thick. During this, a woman was loudly babbling and disturbing other diners around us. Once we finished our drinks, we went to the counter to pay out of annoyance, and had to wait another 5 minutes for a server to come. Then, they could not find our tab, and proceeded to tap through each individual table in the cafe until eventually asking us to show them where we had sat. Then, we are charged for the whipped cream which we were told was standard on the hot chocolate, as well as a service charge added to our bill with no mention. We complained, and were given 4 complimentary chocolates. I would also not recommend wasting your money on these.

Not the cheapest place around but if you want a decent quality coffee in a pleasant environment Kahve is worth a visit and the higher price tag. Better to pay £4.35 (including 10% service charge) for a good cup of coffee than £3.00 for an undrinkable concoction - and you get a small chocolate with your drink. One can takeaway coffee at a lower cost. We didn't sample the cakes but they did look very tempting. Service was quite slow, but this is a busy place in an area buzzing with tourists and visitors and it was at the weekend. There is only one toilet here and it could have been cleaner. A good overall experience however.

What happened ro rhis place? It used to be a beautiful place with nice service near the famous Ritz Hotel. Now it's a messy place, with lots of dirty plates waiting on the bar. New , unhappy staff running around clueless. Even a small caffe at not so popular area looks a lot better. Damage on disablet toilet's door is like someone tried to break in. I'm worried about how they can afford to make money even pay the rent at this area with this kind of service.

The food and coffee were so-so, the service was pretty bad and slow (even though the place was almost entirely empty).

The waiting time was insane; the coffee machine was out of order and we didn't receive an apology whatsoever. And the coffee was tasteless and disgusting. I've been here before and I just remembered why i stopped coming

Loved my Cake , spinach quiche, earl grey and Coffee. But no comparison to the taste of milk in Turkey!! The coffee beans are the same but not the same Milk so makes all the difference. Very friendly staff :)

I sat more than 20 minutes waiting in the table to order no one came so went to the cashier to order and waited also until someone came and I ordered takeaway and paid then one of the waiters offered me to set in the chair until my order is ready, the woman who was in the cashier heard him and was upset she told him she only paid to takeaway why she sit. She should talked to the waiter not in front of me and there should be a good attitude when dealing with customers, I left the paid coffee and went out and will never get back again.

I waited in a queue for nearly 5 minutes because it takes 2 members of staff to sort out a till issue. So I decided to take a seat instead and opt for table service. They only had one waiter who seemed absolutely clueless and out of his depth. Kept changing his direction of walk like C3PO from Star Wars. I ended up never getting served and just gave up and walked out having wasted ten precious minutes of my life.

Slow service, asked single espresso charged me with double , I asked the milk on the side , bring me water instead . Wrong beverage with wrong price, plus waited for 20 minutes for just for espresso. Unbelievable never come to this coffee again.

This is an amazing turkish place to go for a breakfast or lunch. They have got an amazing food equipped with an exceptional customer service. I'd recommend this place to everyone who visit Piccadilly or nearby.

Bad management and customer service by the manager. After ordering my drink I found out that it had gluten which I’m allergic to and asked if I could switch to tea. They said yes. When the bill came, they still charged for the drink that had gluten (and the tea) and the manager refused to take it off the check. Horrible management - no wonder it was empty in one of the busiest intersections in the world.
