What a gem of a place. Happy friendly staff, who couldn't do more for us. We booked a table of 7 but had an extra person turn up and it was no problem. 3 vegans and a dairy/nut allergy sufferer, but so much choice, and help from the staff to find the right food. The portion sizes were insane and the cakes were out of this world! Cannot rate highly enough, we really enjoyed it all. Can't wait to come back (if you'll have us, sorry for the chaos)!

Oh my goodness. There is not many places where one can get such great customer care coupled with friendly efficiency as we did today at Kaff’s !! We arrived just on closing time, the tables up, floors cleaned and the two staff ladies relaxing after a busy day but these very kind ladies re-opened and served us with tea and a delicious, huge piece of “homemade” Dorset Apple Cake. All of this served with great big smiles. Thank you ladies, when we are next in Wareham we will be back. We recommend Kiff’s Coffee Pot very highly.

Lovely friendly cafe, ordered two of the bacon and egg doorstep sandwiches, our server did warm us they were large. We were eating outside, even passers by stopped to comment. They were excellent but we had to admit defeat! We will likely go again, but take a bigger appetite or ask for a smaller doorstep! Excellent value.

Visited kaffs coffee pot yesterday for lunch and as always had a fantastic meal sat outside. Every time we visit Wareham or close by on holiday, this is our first port of call and we consider this to be the best cafe in this area, only wish it was closer to home so we could visit more often. Yesterday we were a little late due to traffic and it was almost closing time but we were greeted as always with a welcome smile and nothing was too much trouble. I had jacket and salad and my hubby had the door step brekki sandwich. The food was very tasty indeed, the portions were massive and very reasonably priced. We had to do a cake away as we were too full to eat there but they were very yummy, Dorset apple cake and lemon drizzle. We will be visiting again before our departure!

We visited Wareham to grab a lunch before going in to Kimmeridge as we knew there were no cafes or food outlets at Kimmeridge. We opted for two picnic boxes at £6 each which I initially thought was a little expensive. However when we opened them up, we were treated to a mini feast. Cheese sandwich with loads of cheese in doorstep bread. I had ham with lovely quality ham. Two bags of handcooked crisps, two muffins, two crunchie bars, two apples and two drinks. Best sandwiches we have ever had. Would recommend the picnic box. My only suggestion is a wider choice of fillings as only cheese or ham as choices.

I ordered two afternoon teas for my parents for their anniversary. I have since seen a picture of them and they were amazing. Beautifully presented in a clear plastic topped box, complete with paper doily lining! In each box there were 2 rounds of sandwiches, 2 large scones, ample jam and cream and a couple of strawberries then there were a few chocolates and a macaron. Then there was a slice of cake (Dorset apple cake) a beautiful looking cup cake and a piece of chocolate tray bake and a tea bag!! All delivered out to the outskirts of the Wareham area for £10 for 1 person and £19 for 2. Absolute bargain and local as well. We have been in swanage for the week and decided to come to Wareham to take our son swimming so after reading reviews, chose Kaffs Coffee Pot lunch and wasn’t disappointed. The lad who served us was v friendly and advised us on what we picked. Our 7 year old ordered a bacon sarnie and she said they normally put 4 rashers in but would we like less as for a child. Perfect. Asked for the bacon well done as he loved it. My husband and I ordered doorstep sandwiches even tho we were told they were huge! We couldn’t resist and we’re not disappointed! They were huge but the bread was so light and soft and so delicious! Mine came with a salad, coleslaw and crisps. We polished them off with ease (oops) but needed the energy as we had just done a 2 hour trek! The cakes looked incredible so we took some cheesecake to takeaway so we didn’t look too piggy! About to try it but it looks Devine! Would recommend. Thank you.

What a fantastic little cafe tucked away down by the side of Sainsbury’s supermarket.Went in here a couple of years ago with my partner who had the most enormously filling ploughman’s lunch.Been for a day out today to Swanage in Hurricane Dennis and decided to try Kaffs cafe again on the way home.We had two friends with us who ordered the home made vegetable soup, my partner ordered the doorstop egg, bacon and sausage sandwich and I ordered the normal sized egg and bacon sandwich.Friends were jealous when our sandwiches arrived-until they saw their soup. The food here is amazing and the prices certainly very reasonable. Staff are friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough to make your visit enjoyable. It’s not a very spacious cafe but on saying that you don’t feel squashed in.Everything to eat is made on the premises, except the bread which is delicious anyway.Kaffs is certainly the jewel in the crown in Wareham. We were even offered a doggy bag for the half chunk of bread my friend couldn’t eat - and a butter portion to go with it.

Called in last week en route to Bournemouth as we had things to do in Wareham first. Not being local we relied in TripAdvisor for breakfast. Not very busy so exchanged chit chat with owner. Decided on full English breakfasts. Arrived very quickly and the food was piping hot! Big plate of two thick pieces of bacon, two sausages, two eggs, tomato, mushrooms, beans and two thick slices of brown bread toast. Included in price was a hot drink. Food was very good and if i had any quibbles it would be that the sausages could have been nicer, they tasted cheap frozen ones and some things were fried which could have been grilled, but maybe thats me being fussy. We were offered a second hot drink which on leaving tried to pay for, only to discover it was a free refill.Bargain breakfast for £7 odd and it kept us full until early evening as only had tea and a cookie late afternoon.

Well so glad we found this place we were on our way to Monkey World and wanted breakfast, so jumped on Tripadvisor for some recommendations, and Kaffs Coffee Pot came up with some good reviews, and they were absolutely right! Although it was a little hard to find, it is down a small arcade next to the Sainsbury’s, once we found it, admittedly the space is a little tight but there is plenty of seating outside (If the weather is good) myself and my Wife had the full English breakfast, and our children had a couple of Kaffs Doorstop sandwiches, which my daughter managed about just less than half of because it was so large (If your hungry it’s the place to go) she was given a doggie bag so she could have the rest for lunch which she did! Amazing value, and nice welcoming feel, highly recommend.

My husband and I had lunch here last week after a muddy walk along the river. You get the warmest of welcomes, and this personal service was apparent in the way in which an elderly couple were helped with their walkers as they left. The selection is large and freshly prepared. We were warned that the doorstep sandwiches are huge so went for slimmer ones. In my book they were still doorsteps, delicious, fresh bread, my husband had BLT which he rated highly, I had fried eggs and was asked how I liked them cooked. The prices are very reasonable considering the excellent quality, I would strongly recommend this little gem, well worth seeking out.

Tiny area - maybe that's why the chairs are triangle shaped! - heaving when we went in, lovely friendly atmosphere. Food excellent, my partner had an eyes bigger than stomach doorstop sarnie, full with sausages and bacon, and a (presumably regular - take that how you wish!) lady suggested I try the cheese/marmite crumpets. Different. But good. Sheridan working on her own when we arrived, but no-one was in a hurry. I would come here again just to try something different. 1 coffee, 1 tea. Can't remember what we paid but am sure we had changed from a tenner. We visited for a light lunch! We got fantastic portions of good food - nothing fancy but tasty, just what we wanted. Service was also superb and couldn't have been more helpful. If we had one 'moan' the cleanliness (floor) was needing some attention, but I'd rather a good plate of food and a dirty floor to the other possibilities. So put it down to a windy day blowing in street dust and I would still recommend. The cakes looked 'to die for' - maybe next choice.

Stopped in for a quick lunch, stunned by the Bacon Doorstep sandwich(probably the best I have ever eaten). Wife had crumpets and tea, offered more butter by the attentive staff, who obviously reaslize that crumpets require lots of butter!Superb small cafe, clean and well priced; indoor and outdoor tables; varied menu.Thoroughly recommended.

I've been twice now. Kaffs is great for the family, they are always welcoming, and good to the kids. The food is prepared fresh to order and the portions are not scrimped on, the price is very reasonable. Thanks, we'll be back again and again I'm sure.

This place is a favorite of mine and never disappoints. We go here regularly whenever we are in Wareham and have tasted quite a few things from the menu - always good - staff are really friendly and they do great hot chocolate with cream and chocolates on top too!

We sometimes pop in when we are out for a walk although its hard to resist the cakes! The sandwiches are made for hungry people with plenty of choice for fillings so if you are there for lunch don't eat in the morning!!

Visited for the first time. Bit cramped and a place for the regulars. Enjoyed a coffee in between shopping.

The was an afternoon tea birthday celebration but the standard of the food was disappointing. There were only two types of finger sandwiches. The scones had clearly been reheated and were still steaming hot 20 minutes after being served and therefore the clotted cream melted into butter and were very chewy. The staff did offer more scones. The macaroons were of a poor quality - soft and not crispy on the outside. The venue is lovely and the staff polite and helpful but overall the quality of the food for the price was disappointing.

Fab food for my sons party...at a great price. The staff couldn't do enough. Great location. There was enough food to feed hungry bellies and it was delivered hot and at the time requested. Well done!

Bloody brilliant. Food and ambience superb. Service with a smile. Superb plaice and monkfish Thai curry. The desserts are all made by the chef. We had a pavlova but look forward to coming back for the chocolate torte. Very underrated restaurant of the highest echelon.
