Kadiri's in Brent

Yet another Reddit recommendation that was on POINT! Let me say that making the journey from Kensington to Kadiri's was a bit of a mission for someone who isn't familiar with the lay of the land. It was rainy/wet, windy, and cold, but it was completely worth it. Anyway, I read that Kadiri's was known for their biryani and upon taking my first bite I can vouch for them 100%. Wife and I had dined at a previous restaurant the night prior and the biryani was good, but this was on an entirely different level. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger though because it was so damn good! We also ordered their Chicken Chili Tiger Masala and keema naan. I know, I know – chicken tikka masala is SUPER basic but the VERY SPICY part sold me on it. It wasn't spicy, but at least it was really good. Had I known it was going to be mild I would've ordered something else, but again, it was very delicious. The naan was charred excellently and the lamb was perfection. Speaking of spicy, their scotch bonnet sauce was VERY good and spicy! Definitely worth getting if you're a spicy eater like me.

Food was delicious and starters were very unique. Adam took our order he was very patient and recommend dishes according to our taste.

Delicious food, great restaurants and the most friendly staff. Butter chicken and saag paneer with the garlic naan was excellent. Biriyani was delicious and lamb chops were stunning. 10/10 would recommend, take your friends and your mum. (My mum makes good Indian food at home so this is high praise)

We ordered food for a small gathering, and the entire experience was exceptional. The delivery service was prompt and professional, and the food quality exceeded our expectations. First time at Kadiri’s and was a good surprise. The waiter Abdulla were very friendly and helpful. Food came quick and freshly prepared. We tried the especial dessert Gajar made with carrot. It was amazing, came warm with a scoop of ice cream and a pistachio sauce which was a-ma-zing! Definitely comeback!

I ordered the signature mutton biryani, Mumbai chicken samosa (comes 2 in a portion), small raita and mint sauce. Beyond delicious. I ordered a delivery. Everything was so neatly packed and well presented and still hot and fresh by the time I got it. The biryani portion is advertised for one person, but it is quite big. Two people could eat from it, if you are ordering other dishes too but also depends on your appetite. Generous with ingredients. A lot of mutton. Not too spicy, just right. Very comforting. Perfect with the raita which added a little sweetness. Refreshing. The samosas were simple and very homely. Heavenly, especially dipping them in the mint sauce. Not greasy. What I really like is they don't overspice food. Just right. So tasty. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. Other food is good too. I have tried a few dishes from the menu but the biryani is the best I have ever tasted. I have been going since I was a child. I am in my forties now and the food is still as delicious. Good quality.

Absolutely delicious, best south asian food I’ve eaten in London

Biryani is one of the best in London. It is very mild so maybe not for everyones liking. But its really flavourful and tasty. A bit expensive for a laid back simple setting. But definitely worth a visit.

I’ve been going to Kadiris for 15 years and the food is consistently amazing. Ibrahim is the kindest member of staff there. Always so polite and treats us like family. It’s so lovely to see the owner and his family there every time. Kadiris is an institution in NW London! Highly recommended.

We had a great Konki Indian food experience at Kadiri restaurant, enjoying delicious food. Our group, consisting of both adults and children, loved the family mutton biryani, while the kids were big fans of the butter chicken with naan bread. For drinks, the Kokum is definitely worth trying, offering authentic Indian flavors. Our server, Adam, was exceptionally friendly and professional throughout the meal.

Absolutely fantastic place, I had a take-away which was amazing, very fresh, extremely tasty and beautifully presented in Kadiri's own box. Very friendly staff, Adam, this restaurant is a must go-to place if you're looking for great food and atmosphere. Well done and thanks Kadiri's. 👍

I ordered via Just Eat and ordered a chicken korma. It was so so spicy that I couldn’t eat it. This was noted just after one mouthful. I rang the restaurant to check they had sent the correct one as Kormas are meant to be mild and in my experience Yellow too. This was orange. The restaurant were most unhelpful. Wouldn’t bother going back there if they can’t get a simple curry right

The reason why my wife enjoys a Korma is because it's sweet and she doesn't enjoy spicy food, some people are built differently. However this place likes to make the mildest of curries spicy because I can only assume the chef is terrible and the chillies masks the blandness of the food. Avoid

I have been customer of this establishment since 1981. The food has always been very good and we have been very happy. I took a party of 12 people there last week and I was really embarrassed. The service was extremely poor, the food was not to usual standard. We finished the starters and sitting but the waiters didn't bother to come and ask if we wanted to irder the main food. So i had to go and call him. After taking the irder they left all the dishes on the table. When they brought the main dish there was no room to put the main and i got up and picked the stater dishes and placed on the counter. As with the main dishesthe Beriani was still better than other restaurants but not to usual Kadiri standard. The Tadoori chicken Masala was very bad. When we ordered tandoori chicken masala and butter chicken thought it comes with rice but it was served alone so I had to go and order 3 rice to eat with it. The manager was standing there but didn't look to see what is going on there. It seems he was forced to be there and didn't have any enthusiasm about running a restaurant. At the end about 9.45 they turned on all the lights and started to pit chairs on top of tables. We wanted to order sweets and desert but when they turned the lights we embellished they wanted us to leave. There were a table of two next to us and they asked them to leave too. They were in middle of their dinner. So they nicely paid and left with us. All restaurants they close their doors but wait until people finish their food but here they were more interested to leave rather than looking after customer. I hope the old owner act on this as at least employ a responsible and friendly manager to keep customers happy. The signature food is good but with this service the customers are going to run away. I am happy to talk to owner and discuss the short comings. I have had a chain of restaurants in the past and know the business. As mentioned I am an old customer and care about your restaurant and have introduced your restaurant to many people.

Food was super delicious! We love Indian food and this one is definitely up there! The food has lots of great flavour and the perfect spice level. We recently moved to this area and although our go to still delivers, this may become our new favourite spot for Indian takeaway!

Ordered many times through Uber and each time food has come spilt out of containers awful service and bad customer service never will order from there again was a regular customer for over 10 years

Kadiri's is an absolute gem and has been consistently the best Indian in Willesden for 15+ years. Great service by Adam, try the Chaat, Biryani, and chicken 999 you won't be disappointed!

Ordered from here last night via Deliveroo, as I am a regular customer in the shop which they know me and online, The food is always good but yesterday was the worst spring lamb biriyani I had, the meat was hard and gamey tasted more like mutton, there was no onions on the biryani, its not what it usually is, I really did not enjoy it wasted 25 pounds and if your charging 22£ for a biryani you expect to get something decent, I don't know if its just this time or as I have never had this issue before, I hope management solves this issue.

The best biryani this side of Karachi. Not eaten a better biryani that was not home cooked. The rice was perfectly cooked. The spicing was aromatic and spicy. The quality of meat alone justified the higher price but well worth it. Highly recommend.

Been a client for 15 years, two members of the family faced food posioning of the food. Honestly has become worse and worse it used to be the best in the area. Would not recommend, and for their price increase honestly your better off going to somewhere better and paying a little more (i.e Dishoom)

I had a delivery biriyani. It came suspiciously quickly. And I soon discovered why. It was nothing like an authentic biriyani of any sort. Firstly it cost 20 pounds. Including delivery. 2 x lamb biriyani 40 pounds delivered. 6 quid delivery, so 17 per dish. Other than the high price. This was simply a layer of sauce with meat covered with rice. That's it. The meat was ok. The sauce ok. But really, for this money and to be called a Biriyani is a joke Mega mega disappointed. Terrible. 0 stars. I wouldn't eat here again It's hard to find a good Indian restaurant. Paradise in Hampstead. That's proper. kadiris is not at all.

One of the best Indian restaurants I know in the UK! However their prices are steep and in some cases extortionate, one naan bread doesn't have to be £3.50 that's way over the top.

I been buying from this resturant for 5 years plus today I asked for extra sauce in my food the put soo much hot sauce 1 bite has burnt my tongue mouth chest and stomache I will suggest never ask for extra sauce from these guys the chef tried to put me in A&E

The spring lamb biryani is always a favourite of mine here, to the point I get it once every two weeks or so. Adam at the reception has the best customer service and always managed to have my food order completed fast and efficiently. I'm a regular here and will continue to be for a long time.

I agree with the previous reviewer. I have been going since a child. We have eaten in and ordered takeout. Always good. Staff are friendly and care for the customer. Food is delicious and homely. I ordered takeout last night. I called to ask them to make it not spicy and they did exactly that. Food was delicious, neatly packaged and divine. I ordered the onion bhajia, tarka daal and peshwari naan. So good as were the condiments that came with it. Highly recommend.

Simply stunning food and great service. There is a reason these guys are called the biryani kings! I challenge you to find a better biryani in the whole of the UK! The butter chicken was amazing too. Highly recommended!

The biryani is very good, the main reason to visit. This place is expensive however, dont let this small restaurant on Willesden High Rd fool you into thinking you'll be getting great value . Samosa's are £4.50 each , £6.50 for a single sheekh kebab.

Mate, 55 quid for a loada microwaved stail food. It were daylight robbery this!

Excellent Biryani. Lamb is the best one. Rice cooked evenly and is fragrant. The meat is tender and masala tastes fresh. Decent portion size. Nice place and reasonable aesthetics. Parking is free across the road in Sainsbury. Not much seating and can be but tight in there. Overall a pretty solid hidden gem.
