This is for the queen street branch. I used to visit this place a few years ago pre-pandemic a few times a week. Food was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Having been here twice in recent months, I am thoroughly disappointed it’s absolutely crap. Teriyaki chicken now tastes more boiled with a sauce dumped on top and the meat portions are tiny. I also had karaage on the 2nd occasion. The girl asked what rice/vege combo I wanted (?) but it wasn’t followed anyway. The portions again were meh and the sauce was some horrible clear glue looking crap with no real flavour. It was very much like an old Asian takeaway with msg from the 80’s. It’s a damned shame it’s so bad now, but people are still happy to queue here. I used to miss this place when I went to our suburban kokoru chain but even that is tastier and better value than this place.

I bought the chicken katsu curry takeaway for lunch and I wish I could get a full refund! It’s the worst I’ve ever tried, the chicken was very oily and bland, no sight of a piece of vegetable and the rice was over cooked gravy was tasteless for £6.50! You’re better off getting the one from Abokado.

One of my favourites for take away lunch. I find it to be much better value than Itsu. Take away options are good quality well priced, and you are in/out in 2 minutes. Sit down at the sushi wheel if you have the time / money. Its great, but a good deal more expensive than the take away options.

I had not tried conveyor belt sushi before but the food was delicious. There were so many cold and hot dishes and we had loads. There are free water taps next to each table too so that’s great. I loved the busy looking sushi plates and all the salmon ones! A quick lunch too as the food is there straightaway!

Don’t get me wrong.... I quite like this place. And I go here often. The food is kaitan style sushi and hot dishes and it does a roaring trade. But today, the Wednesday after bank holiday, it did not cover itself with glory. I arrived at midday and it was quiet -I was the third person there and was seated in a thoroughfare spot next to the second single arrival. There was no sushi on the conveyor belt and It took me two attempts to order hot dishes and only one arrived. The point of places like this is throughput and turnover but today something was definitely missing. I blame the nice weather

Standards have dropped.Prices have gone up.Currys are dry with hardly any sauce. if you want more sauce they charge you.Box is packed with rice but not enough of the good stuff.started charging for pickled ginger and wasabi now. 20p a pot.I used to buy 2 Miso soups daily. at a cost of £3.00 pounds. seems like a lot? I agree. but now with the extra 20p for 3 slices of pickled ginger and the pots only being 70%full I think they gone too far. Me and my colleague after years of getting our lunch here have finally given up. You want our custom back? try these improvements:1.Fill up the soups to the top!2. stop charging for Asian condiments like wasabi3. a Curry needs Sauce, lots of it.4. make sure you keep your standards every day.

Love, love, love this place. I worked opposite K10 on Appold Street for a year and visited the place for take away or sit down at least once a week. The sushi meal deal to take away is excellent value for money and very good quality. You get a drink, a sushi box and a choice of either a pot of edamame or wasabi peas. Sitting in and eating off the conveyer belt is equally as amazing and very good value for money. Staff are always very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

My Boss took me to K10 for lunch. First impressions, the style of restaurant very similar to another restaurant where small dishes move around on a conveyer belt giving you the chance to select what looks appealing. Plates are coloured representing price (I think). Quality and taste of the dishes was good. A good idea however would be to have a description of the dish on the lids, you might not be able to read it as it passes but you could read it by picking up the dish. If not for you, put it back. Also one or two of the dishes had chicken in it, and if like me you are a Vegetarian that eats fish but not meat it's good to know. To drink I had a Green tea, really nice. Staff, really nice. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's a cheap place or an expensive place to dine but from a first visit it's certainly a cheerful place and well worth a visit. Thanks to Boss man for taking me there. I'm sure I'll be going again.

I go to K10 at least once a week, and more if I can get out of work. It's great quality, fresh, delicious sushi, sashimi and hot food. If you're in a rush, you can just pick up from the conveyor belt, but it's always worthwhile ordering a hot dish as they're delicious. The salmon and whitetail ceviches are delicious and v.different from other restaurants. If you go often, you'll recognise other customers as this is a place that people come back to time and time again. The servers are really friendly, and quickly get to know you if you're a regular. If you're in a hurry, there's always takeaway (the chicken katsu is to die for). There can be a queue, a testament to how much people like this place, but it always moves quickly. Very well run. Delicious food. Great selection. Helpful but not intrusive staff. Gets very busy at lunchtime so in an ideal world you want to be there by 12.45 latest. The only probelms with eating little plates of sushi is it is tempting to have more than really need - not that this is a fault of the restaurant. Ultimately this makes you pretty full up and the meal can be quite expensive. Very much like having endless glasses of water for £1. Wine and beer is reasonable

My colleagues & I have formed a burger club hence are committed to trying new burger places whenever one pops up in London (which is often).Well this one quite different from any other: have you ever had a Japanese burger before???The menu is quick simple: 4 buns options, chicken, duck, pork belly or aubergine (tried the chicken and the aubergine, oh my!!!). They're quite small so you can easily have one of each. 2 buns will cost you £6.50They also serve chicken wings which were really good I was told though I didn't taste them. They serve Japanese beers (loads), raspberry daiquiris and margaritas. On Tuesdays buy one get one free - happy days! They have pinball machines and football tables which are free on Mondays (went on a Tuesday and they were free as well shhhhhh...).Cherry on the cake: you can chalk write pretty much anywhere, which means the place has turned into a massive black board :)It's a pop-up place (2 floors above K10) so I recommend hurrying up. Had a chat with one of the friendly waiters who said they would hang out for another couple of months and were hoping to get their own place, that's all I wish them :)

No it's not a Nepalese mountain but the second-branch of a mini-chain of conveyor-belt sushi restaurants clearly situated and designed to rein in nearby City slickers able to spend a fair whack on a lunch but having to finish it swiftly before the next deal. I occasionally visited the original branch near Moorgate where the take-away section is separated from the main dining floor in a sleek cavernous and elegant basement. Here the exterior is quite high-tec but the much smaller single-floor room much less dramatic and more prosaic. Breaking away from those queuing for their take-aways I was swiftly taken to the end of a row with a good view of the sushi chefs at work. I was quickly offered a green tea, before choosing a fish and noodle melange from the many plates of cold food (mainly raw fish, but also chicken, beef strips, and the odd dessert). I was then offered a card with a fairly limited choice of hot dishes which need to be specifically ordered and cooked by the sushi chefs. I opted for king prawn tempura, then chicken katsu curry with rice. The tempura was deliciously crunchy; the curry had a generous portion of sliced chicken with a bowl of a rather thick viscous brown liquid. Whilst waiting for these I had some slices of raw salmon. I finished with a chocolate mousse. The bill came to £29.00. I felt I had eaten (mainly) healthily rather than having my hunger entirely satiated.

The treason I rated atmosphere as ok and not higher is they don't play any background music so it's a bit strands but great to visit

Great food and variety. Good attentive staff, hot menu and conveyor belt. But not cheap but good value in the Japanese genre

Best japanese restaurant you will find in miles, for an incredible price, very friendly staff and even better food. To me, one of the top 20 restaurants in London

Actual sushi restaurants beats YO! Sushi any day. My colleague introduced us to K10 for lunch, we went downstairs for a seat down lunch. Great experience, friendly services, lovely fresh food, taste wonderful. I'm definitely coming back here for lunch again or dinner. The price can be quite dear, if you go in a group and divide it it'll be cheaper.

Great Conveyor Belt style Sushi restaurant. Fast but tasty and good quality. I especially love the taps at every seat that dispenses free fizzy water!

K10 was introduced to me today by a friend who couldn't believe I hadn't tried it. After 10 years in Japan, I'm somewhat skeptical about overseas 'kaiten zushi', or conveyor belt sushi - so often it's old, hard, cold, all the things sushi should never be. But this was a lovely, fresh surprise - even though it wasn't that full, so it didn't look like the sushi would be refreshed quickly. Although some of the portions are small (thin slavers of tuna or salmon on the nigiri - really not unusual in London, but still disappointing) the fish was soft and fresh and served room temperature - and very high quality - at least the salmon was, I must admit I didn't try any tuna. And that was the only disappointment - it quickly became clear that the menu was very restricted - salmon, tuna, hamachi, and a variety of ways of serving said 3. Cooked fish dishes included crab and prawn, but that was really it. Shame - there's so much to offer on a real menu - this was pandering to the very mainstream, mainstream tastes. I liked the mexican ceviche type twists to some of the dishes, but watching the same, probably 15 dishes go round and around? Not likely I'll go back often, other than for the convenience of being close to Liverpool St and Moorgate stations.

I first ate in K10's London Wall branch, and when they opened this branch it became a more frequent destination for lunch. It is a typical sushi house with a conveyor belt system snaking its way around with a good variety of cold sushi dishes and desserts for you to help yourself. If you fancy a hot dish, miso soup or need a drink then the friendly and attentive waiting staff will take your order and it's never long before it arrives having evidently been prepared to order. The bill is calculated using your empty dishes, and each is colour-coded by price: the cost of the dish colour shown on a card by your seat. The constant parade dishes requires a great deal of will power not to get carried away and a resulting large bill! For non-fish eaters there are plenty of suitable dishes: lots of people think sushi is fish, but sushi is the rice and, like pasta, can be served with lots of different things including beef, chicken and vegetables; so vegetarians are also well catered for too.If you like wasabi or soy sauce then it's provided for you to add to taste, although some dishes already have wasabi in them so you if you're not a fan you may need to check first. My favourites include the nori rolls, the salmon sashimi and from the hot menu chicken teriyaki with rice.I've been there with friends and colleagues, and whilst they don't take bookings they will usually find you a place without too much of a wait as the turnover is fairly rapid - although I've never felt rushed. There is also a take-away counter with larger portions of the hot dishes or sushi selection packs, and they'll deliver too.

This is a huge conveyor belt style restaurant and it was packed when we went in. The food from the belt was all excellent and everything that we ordered was great too (I'd especially recommend the Chicken Karaage). Unusually for Japanese places, even the deserts were delicious. I'd highly recommend a visit to this place. Worth every penny.

The hot plates are ordered at your seat from the efficient staff who can always be easily found.Me and Tom really enjoyed our biweekly lunch today.I really enjoyed the seabass with chilli and the salmon teriyaki with sticky rice never disappoints. Not sure what the cold rare beef dish was called but it was possibly my favourite. Fresh, tasty food does not come cheap - and we were suprised to be left with a dozen empty dishes - but as our fortnightly treat it is infinitely better value than most other restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Especially L'anima. Recommended.

My worst nightmare was when a friend suggested we met for dinner at a Japanese restaurant in the City. I had tried Japanese food years ago, didn't like it and convinced myself that I never wanted to try it again. My trepidation continued as we met at K10 in Appold Street which looked like a large canteen, all hard surfaces, sterile and soulless. And then .... my friend ordered us a couple of glasses of Prosecco and began to take plates of beautifully presented food off the conveyor belt and place them in front of me. Wow! I was bowled over, what were these delicious flavours and textures, just absolutely exquisite food : beef tataki, Himachi, chicken Karaage and ultra ultra fresh salmon sashimi. In addition, the staff were on hand to advise and recommend, very efficient and professional. I loved it and will definitely return - again and again.

We visited this restaurant on Friday night and, as I had already read some reviews, I was expecting good things. The format is similar to your usual Yo Sushi but this is in a completely different league. The service is absolutely top notch and the, ever attentive, staff are on hand to advise and recommend (Jason looked after us extrememly well) It's the quality of the food that stands out though. I'm normally quite restrained when it comes to eating but I just couldn't stop with some of these dishes. Sliced beef, tuna, miso black cod were all just devine and way better than other sushi restaurants I have tried in this country. Don't worry if you aren't a 'raw fish' fan as there is plenty more on offer and really something for every taste. Oh, and wash it down with the warm Saki The location favours the city so I can imagine it's busiest at weekday lunchtimes and, as such, it was relatively quiet when we went on Friday night. Even if it was busy I doubt this would be a problem as the food is available instantly! Prices are very reasonable and the takeaway service sounds like a great idea for lunchtimes. Also, if you are watching your calories this is some of the cleanest, healthiest food going. A definate hit for me and when we are in the area again, we'll definately be making a return visit.

It's great to have another sushi restaurant in the City. They have sushi on conveyor belt and take away for sushi and hot food. I love the fact that I can call to order and then collect 20 mins later. They don't have a sushi menu in the restaurant so best have a look at their take away menu before you go as they don't put everything on the conveyor belt. It's pretty quiet during dinner so there aren't much sushi on the belt, so you definitely should look at the menu online before you go.

We were so pleased to have discovered this great new restaurant and from the moment we went through the door we were delighted at every stage of the meal. Staff are friendly knowledgable and so happy to please and then the food, the sushi and fusion type dishes on the coneyor belt were all so fresh and tempting that before long we had a pile of coloured plates, each dish fresh and some amazing tastes, the we were persuaded to try the Black Cod which was out of this world and the miso lamb cutlets...

Daughter and I had a wonderful meal with great wine and excellent service at Peg last week. Music selection was both bizarre and hilarious, totally inappropriate and far too loud for the small venue. Lovely girl changed it on request but we were baffled by choice (The Specials 😝) put on full blast making our wine glasses vibrate!! Despite the musical faux pas, we thoroughly enjoyed dining at Peg, can highly recommend it and feel the quality and innovative food we were served would be well worthy of a Michelin star. Lovely staff too.

A few days ago I visited this cafe with a friend. A Japanese male staff member behaved so rudely to us (he ignored us when we entered, did not understand English at all, kept an abrupt and rude attitude overall etc). So I messaged them later about our bad experience through Instagram, in a fairly polite manner. They got back to me two days later, but it just said 'Haha, You are wrong, but I see no benefit to explain that to you.' That clearly shows I am not wrong... I do not recommend this place to anyone. There are many excellent Japanese cafes in London, such as Tsujiri and WA cafe, where the service is decent and the food is much better too.

Had the summer special - dry ramen with a raw egg yolk. Absolutely delicious highly recommend also the fact they have a garlic crusher on the table to add your own garlic and the sesame dispenser breaks up the sesame seeds to give more flavour and aroma is top notch. Would definitely go again!

Very tasty chicken teriyaki. Recommend as going for lunch or dinner. Best of all is half price at the end of the day.
