I have been here a few times now. The food has been really good. The hariyali panner and the fish pakora were really tasty. The restaurant is pretty, nicely decorated, the staff were ok too but it’s been freezing everting! Because of how cold it has been I have stopped myself going a few times.

Just Punjabi is a very nice place which is located in Belgrave Road in Leicester. Food was prepared during our visit, so it was brought in the frying pan which was steaming. We ordered mixed grill and fish which were very delicious. Service was fast, polite and pleasant. The restaurant is beautiful and cosy though it is not very big. Thank you for such a pleasant time on Saturday night.

Visited this place 10mins before the said closing time but they still looked after and served us well- wonderful customer service. Brought ourselves a chicken and lamb biriyani which tasted great, decent portions and decent price. Finished off with a freshly made carrot halwa 👌🏽

Came here for a quick bite whilst waiting for an event to start. Went with an open mind as there wasn't many reviews. Going in the place looked very clean, staff was friendly and the layout was unique. Choice of food available was good, not too many and not too little either. Went for the Mixie where whilst waiting the chef was friendly and had a quick chat. The drinks arrived but wasn't cold and no ice given. We ordered soft drinks so can't say that this was for everything. Mixie arrived sizzling and the smell was mouth watering. Been to a number of places where mixed grills are served so I knew what I was looking for. The Mixie had the normal Chicken Tikka, Wings, Sheesh Kebab but with added Chicken Kebab. The meat was not dried out, overcooked or over spiced. The Chicken Kebab was lovely, juicy and had a good amount of spice. I would definitely recommend this grill. Also had a garlic naan too which had a good amount of finely chopped garlic which flavoured it well. For the first time visit I was impressed by the venue, the staff and most important the food. I'll visit again at some point

Nice looking and inviting place. The waitress was very friendly and polite. Menu had plenty of choice including vegetarian. Stocked bar with draught cobra. Didn't have to wait long for the food which included complimentary poppadoms. Food was excellent. The prices were reasonable. Definitely going back again.

This restaurant is not bad, the food quality was fairly standard, nothing overly special. The restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, but it took a long time for staff attention.. there didn’t seem to be a waiter, the pot washer was also clearing tables. The boss seemed to be very busy at the front of house, but didn’t really check on us. The food was good and decor was lovely, the seating could be improved to accommodate larger parties, 5 or more people on a table. We enjoyed our visit, don’t think we would return anytime soon, we had the chicken 65 which was rather tough to chew.

Went here once when it opened after being the currywala. The new owners were false advertising offers to bring people in and we felt conned. We spent about £20 on a Peri Peri Chicken and a curry with rice as a take away. When we got it home the consistency was glue. The chicken Peri Peri tasted rotten as though it had been marinated for a month in a bucket. I had to contemplate calling in the Environmental Health department as it was so disgusting. They even had a kid manning the reception taking the orders to get people to feel sorry for them and stay when duped into going in there. I love Indian food and this visit made me heave. They have now closed as Spice Bengal and a new name is being put over the door - make sure it is not the same people or you could be sorry.

We had to come into Leicester for personal reasons and thought why not get some sweet sticky food to take home. So I looked up sweet centres near belgrave road and this shop caught my eye. Having gone there we were very disappointed with the amount and quality on offer. I asked for a box of gulab jamun (1/2 kg). The first thing the lady said was “is that it?” (In Punjabi), which shocked me. Then she said £6 for about 6 gulab jumuns. Asked for money back and will never go back. Shop wasn’t busy only people cueing up for online/phone collection.
