Brilliant atmosphere perfect for drinks and food.

Went there with family and the food was out of this world

Went for small family function for the first time they got nice function room on first floor with a mini bar. Service is good but the main part of every party is food and it was amazing highly recommended for food they also got restaurant on ground floor. One must try

Went there for a meal with a couple of friends on a Friday evening, and boy, were we disappointed. The service was poor, with the waiter not understanding English, Gujarati, or Hindi when we ordered 2 beers and a softie. It took 3 different staff members to get us our drinks, and no, we were not speaking alien! When the food arrived, it was average at best. There was no wow factor at any point. The lamb chops had no meat, and the flavours were nothing to shout home about. All in all, not a place I would recommend.

We ordered mix veg sizzler but test not good just marinated food not proper cooke. test like raw turmeric ginger

This restaurant use to be great. I'm not sure if they switched owners but it has gone down The quality and flavour was so poor.Customer service was not so good. I felt bad for the staff Because there was only one who was rushing around to all tables. Management need to think about it. Definitely not going back.

I went to eat here after about 3 years and the standard has dropped... Customer service... The atmosphere is rowdy full of drunken men including the owner, shocking how the owner thinks he can behave like this?? This is a bar with a eating area for people to enjoy not so they feel on edge whilst eating their food. The food is not as nice at it used to be. We ordered two separate dishes but they both were cooked in the same masala. I came here with my partner and child and felt it was very noisy, boys shouting and the owner just kept swearing. Other People that were sat on tables looked nervous who were sitting quietly eating.... It Truly has become a unprofessional desi bar/restaurant. I definitely won't be coming here again.... I also know of a few others who don't visit this restaurant anymore. The owner can't control the thugs that come in let alone control himself.

Food was awful, definitely the worst curry I’ve ever had

Just ordered a chilly paneer and it was like a rubber. First time we tried it but we aren't satisfied.

Food was good but they don't offer delivery so you can eat in or collect it from there.

Visited last night Friday for first time on recommendation of son. If you are looking for true authentic Indian cuisine then this is the place to go to. Tucked into four sizzler starters between us. All were superb including the lamb chops and chicken manchurian. Superb spiced dishes. Then enjoyed two curries between us that were delicious. I would recommend you try the mango lassi drink which was a great accompaniment to sooth the mouth. Service was impeccable from Yogesh and others. Will be back.

The service and atmosphere is not great but the food is awesome

What a rubbish place for Vegetarians, absolutely pathetic! Ordered veg Manchurian as a safe option as my friend said last time he went they served him warmed up food. Instead of fresh Manchurian we got frozen, reheated, throw at the wall it would bounce back like bouncing ball Manchurian. The restaurant staff need training, or a pay rise or a holiday, they're all bloody miserable, throwing things in the table. Food as always excellent, felt a bit rushed to get us out once we had eaten, that was my only moan.

Great food, service and atmosphere.

This food is damn good. Tandoori mixed sizzler (boned) out of this world. If you want authentic, this is the place to go. Staff make you feel welcome and looked after, food is fast pace and top quality on both presentation and flavour. Prices are fair. WE WILL BE RETURNING!!

This is an amazing food place to eat I suggest you to go to this place every time .

Bit disappointed on the food, service, would help if the staff brushed up on the English language, atmosphere, a massive TV, I don't out to watch television.

Went to eat in, terrible service and attitude from the waiters. When trying to order something more it seemed like they are doing a favour for free so did not bother. Returned half the meal and left.

3 of us went here ordered chicken tikka masala and was too sweet and cardoman flavours, lamb on the bone was a fatty mutton on the bone. If u like fatty meats and oliy curries this is the place for you. Prices are reasonable pints aren't too bad I will not be going back

When we communicated with blue Peter they did not even acknowledge our situation and cut us midway through the line and left us with no food on Diwali day 2022! I can’t believe a human like himself can do that to us with no sympathy whatsoever. I had little kids starving that night! NEVER ARE WE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN! In fact, please stay away and order elsewhere!! Not worth the hassle!

Unprofessional service staff. Food was average. The atmosphere is too noisy. Management was not prepared for the busy Diwali night crowd.

This is a bar and restaurant, had a great time here, food was really good. They also have an upstairs, with a pool table if you want to rent it out. We ordered chicken starters, curry and naan (garlic obviously ✨) In short - Good food and time

Food was average, £5 a pint is getting too pricey if you ask me, wow the clientele there are loud, impossible to have a conversation without having to yell in the dinning area, would be nice if dinning room was seperated from drinkers. Unlikely to return

I've not visited the Blue Peter for around 4 years so last night I decided to collect a takeaway. I ordered 2 lamb dishes and 1 chicken dish , I can honestly say it tasted fabulous, the quality of the food seems to have excelled since my last visit. The meat was so tender and succulent in your mouth and the sauce flavers in each dish were superb, I also order a portion of Onion Bargis which were amazing, all different shapes and sizes but cooked to perfection and very tasty. So I can highly recommend The Blue Peter as it seems to have upped its game , I can't wait for my next visit, many thanks for a superb meal , Nigel Robertson

Amazing food prepared by Ramnik and his team very tasty food

Order online through their website. Got a confirmation email been accepted. Go to collect order and when we arrive told their system is down and haven't got the order. Have to wait 15mins more to have it cooked. And then they say to us that the £16 charged via website is wrong should be £18. He takes £16 and acts like that is the goodwill gesture for this mistake. Bad customer service.

No complaints as this is a pub not a fine dining! Average food but staff is fabulous. Fast service and card payment is there. Will go again as my son like this place very much.

Another great evening dining with friends at the Blue Peter Club where the chefs make deliciously mouth watering dishes. We had Garlic Chilli Chicken, Chicken Tawa, Fish Tawa and Boneless Kebab Tika Mixed Grill. A wonderful meal in a fantastic place to eat.

The food was spectacular and amazing. The service was really quick and the waitress are really friendly. The chutney test amazing especially the red chutney- spicy but not too spicy. I would prefer having the chicken curry and chilli paneer.The atmosphere is really nice with music and tv.They offer delivery and everything.

Food was pretty good, however the atmosphere was terrible. Full of drunk rowdy people who were being annoying... not what you want when you are trying to enjoy a meal with friends. We booked a table but still hadn't been seated 45 minutes after we arrived. When we finally got given a table it wasn't even cleaned from the last people 🙄

TERRIBLE. First time ordering from them.... food was cold. Got told the food will be ready in 45 mins however it took them 1h 15 mins which was a p*sstake. And the best part is I get told last minute that it’s cash only even though they have a card machine. What’s the card machine? A show piece?

Full of screaming kids. Average food quality. Cash only bar which is separate from the restaurant which us also cash only. Service is very casual.

My visit to Blue Peter was average. The bar was ok The food and service were nothing special. Plates were individually taken as we finished. Did not wait for all to finish. Spent time just sitting to be acknowledged by a waiter. Lamb was hard and both sauces tasted the same even though different dishes were ordered. However it was not a bad evening. Still give it 3star +

Really bad , take away order of meat samosa!!! I'm punjabi and wasn't aware the samosa are the size of a biscuit!!! Fake samosa size!!

Excellent food and service. Love it,can get very busy so book in advance especially weekends. Chilli intensity tell them and in some dishes can be adjusted. Busy days just got to be patient,reasonable price and good portions. Bar and restaurant managed separately.

Been eating at this place for years. Food is always consistent staff are always friendly. Lamb chops,prawns and pomfret fish is a must.

Called them to ask if they take bookings and they insisted that it is a walk in system. Got there and was told it was fully booked. Stood outside for the longest time and no attention was given to us. The workers, including the manager spoke very rudely and it was not professional at all. Would not recommend going here if you wish to be respected. Overall it was a horrible experience for someone visiting first time.

Very rubbish and crap service. I called in to ask to book for a table of 6 and the worker somehow said yes there is no need to book and when we turn up the manager said we only have 1 hour to eat. I’m sorry but how is it possible for a family to eat and go within an hour which includes waiting time for the food to come. We had to wait outside for many minutes and did not get any attention even though one of the workers was outside and being very nosy and listening to everything we was saying and didn’t give any options for what we could do next about eating at their restaurant. The workers did not understand anything we was saying even whilst on call before we went to the restaurant which we called around 4pm and the lady on the call said we can come without any bookings. The workers when I personally went was very rude and I just felt like arguing but I knew they just wouldn’t give a crap so I left that restaurant 🤬

Rude manager, tried to make a booking and was told they don’t make any bookings, just make sure you come early, yet when we get here we are told booking are required. Manager is rude and told us we have to leave by an hour max and refused to service us with respect.

Love Love Love Blue Peter Club. This Restaurant is our favourite in Leicester and there's many to choose from! Been many times and for us it's Simple the best! As we are still in lockdown we were happy they were doing home delivery and it's still as awesome as a take away!

Amazing food , more than you can eat .cooked to perfection .

Waiters are very slow, we was sitting at the table for 30 mins and there was people for came after us and they got there food before us . Also we had to go to the kitchen to tell them to take our order! they messed up our order gave us the wrong food and we still had to go in the kitchen to tell them.

The food is great, tasty,esp the lamb chops,and king prawn sizzler.
