Absolutely a brilliant place to visit. Lovely restaurant too. Reasonable price and ticket lasts for 12 months. Highly recommend a visit.

For the automobile enthusiast to drool over examples spanning the ages.

Nice large exhibition in chronological order. Many staff young knowledgeable guide.

What a place went to a car meeting there ended up in the motor museum entrance fee we'll worth it so much to see the history of cars some very rare cars also some bits to keep the kids busy Really enjoyed it will be going back

Easy to get to - just off M40, and a great place for families. Big enough to be jnteresting; not too big to be tiring. A special word too for the cafe. Good food well presented and real value for money.

We had a fabulous time at the British Motor Museum on 3rd April with our 11 year old car enthusiastic son and our 8 year old daughter. We visited during the access/SEND sessions and it was definitely quieter (sensory and people) and more manageable for our son. The museum has a fantastic selection of cars, which are brilliantly displayed, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We met Jim in reception and he started talking to us about some of the cars and asked us if we’d like him to walk us around. I'm not one for ‘tours’, and neither is our son, but Jim was so engaging and interesting to listen to that we didn't notice over an hour had passed! He really made our trip and we learnt a lot too. Thank you Jim! We also briefly met Claire who was showing others around and she was equally lovely. We had a really great day out and were so impressed by all the staff and facilities. We’ll be back!

Fantastic collection of British vehicles. Everything from old bone shakers, to speed record holders and vehicles used in films. Loved it!

What a fantastic venue for a wedding.

Great and very beautiful cars and every time I come back different cars.

We enjoyed ourselves, but I felt that there was to much focus of British Leyland and not enough on the smaller manufactured stick as Lotus, Caterham, Ariel etc. plus the kids would have liked more interactivity.

I won't post pics,I'm sure its all been done. Had a great time here,favourite was the second building though, jags on the ground floor and cars from my era (70's onwards) great staff, very friendly, knackered now,going home for a kip,it's only 100 miles away

We go quite regularly as it's just a short car ride away . Nice relaxed atmosphere with plenty to look at . New exhibits pop up often recently got vauxhall heritage collection and a recent display of cars from the ford heritage collection . Nice cafe although it's a little expensive(like many places of this ilk ) and fairly limited choice . Your tickets last for 12 months so enabling you to visit as often at you like for a whole year

A must for anyone who is a motoring fan especially if your into British cars. The collection of prototype and special cars from BMC is fantastic.

Came yesturday for access day. My daughter was given some ear defenders and both my kids had a sensory bag each, the lady who handed thwm over was so polite and welcoming. (To be given back at the end) absolutely amazing that you guys catered for those with additional needs. The bloke at the front desk didn't get his name but he was lovely. The whole place is absolutely amazing and each car had its own description and and alot of facts to learn. Very unique and stunning. Not the sort of things I'd take my kids to, but my asd daughter who is 10 read alot of pointed out the age of the car ect even those without number plates on. Very fun day out and was worth the drive from nuneaton. My partner also had fun looking at the cars and walking round. Cafe area also good, staff friendly, food quick to come out, like we ordered hot food and was out within ten minutes. Very clean, lots of seating area, staff cleared tables as soon as people was done. Didn't visit gift shop as was short on money and kids would have wanted everything lol. Didn't go to collections centre as kids was getting tired and moody. Will hopefully visit again with just me and my partner as this was day out for the children. Amazing place recommend any one to go x

Very awful 2nd part of museum....you couldn't see properly the cars , they was parked bumper to bumper ....like in the scrap yard ....this is what you get for 19£ unfortunately

A testament to the fact that the British engineers had great ingenuity in design concepts. Some really interesting cars with the bonus of the Jag museum. Just a shame the BL management and unions messed it all up.

Really good day out, changed a lot from 5-6 years ago. Lots to see and well laid out. Price includes a return visit so pretty decent value

Nice place to go with family. Lot’s of cars to see and different types. There are cars from 1907 and older. Recommend to visit

I spent 19£ to see cars parked bumper to bumper , couldn't see them properly or making pictures .....shame on management

Massive collection, real trip down memory lane, loads of weird and wonderful machinery. Must also mention the burgers in the cafe are fantastic compared to what you'd normally get in a place like this

Wow .. What am amazing place, I went with my family for the day, an impressive cars collection!

Excellent, well lit modern museum accessible for the disabled and with wheel chairs by the front door to borrow also they have little car shaped buggies for toddlers. The cars are not roped off so you can get up close to them and there are a few interactive items dotted about. The only down side is it makes me feel old as some of the cars on display are models I've owned over the years. Buy your tickets in advance to save a few quid and convert a day ticket in to an annual pass at no extra cost.

Excellent tours, great family Museum, excellent collection of vehicles from Film and Tv including Royal Land rovers and Range rovers, well worth a day out plus you can pay gift aid and upgrade to a 12 months pass which makes it a well worthy day out!!

Lots of car to see. Friendly staff. But the Jags appears the most. What about Rolls Royce, Bentley, Morgan, etc.....

Had a conference in the joining building and had a wonder through here after. Nice to see a replica of the first car and the accompanying story of it's first long distance journey taken by Bertha Benz.

An excellent car museum. Must contain about 400 cars from various manufacturers both past and present. I particularly liked the prototypes section.

This is a fantastic day out, loads to see! Would definitely recommend taking a free tour around the museum, the guides are really friendly and knowledgeable! There is a huge variety of cars and it is easily a full day out for any car enthusiast!

Great to see old cars surprised how many i remembered.

Excellent exhibits and very informative of the history of motorised transport. Also a nice place to buy food or consume your own.

Attended for the Rustival event and the array of car on display both for the event and the museum was amazing. Will visit again

What an amazing place this is! Friendly volunteers & staff who are so willing to share their knowledge The whole place is light & bright....cafe is lovely very spacious with great reasonably priced food! An enjoyable day out and would highly recommend!

Great day out saw cars I haven’t seen for years, also the day I went there was another car event (Rustival) which was even better

Really impressed with this Museum. Even if cars aren’t your thing it is an interesting take on modern British history. The exhibits are well laid out with lots of info. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The cafe was also good, well cleaned and not too expensive. Car parking was easy and free. Toilets were immaculate 😄

Entry was included with my Rustival ticket costs, will be going back to get a better walk around and see the second building.

Had a great conference here, very well equipped, very nice buildings and decor, excellent catering. The cars on show are alot of the same car in different varieties but overall a good place to visit to see some classic cars

Visited as a home education group, so had a very interactive look at all the cars with the history and stories to go along with it. It was a well run group with Claire and Jim being the facilitators for the days activities. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would happily do it again.

If you love cars you must visit

I booked last minute tickets for Rustival, an event held at the Museum. We paid £16 each for entry to the event, and the other vehicles permanently at the museum. My Son needed to take some photos of cars for a college project. The cars outside for Rustival were exactly what we needed, and got plenty of pics. Quite the variety of vehicles! Inside the fixed museum was also full of cars (see photos) but they are mostly very squished together, so getting decent photos is difficult.

Great automotive museum, more vehicles than I expected and spent over 2 hours here. Loved the concept and prototypes.

Had a great day looking around the exhibitions. Has it was the rustival car show that day we enjoys the enthusiasts who bought along their vehicles.

Fantastic collection. Very informative, full of intrigue, rare and prototype UK cars. Excellent loo's and cafe.

A trip down memory lane. Full of nostalgia seeing my first car, my parents first car as well. They were so small!! How did we fit in a family of four and grandparents and luggage ?

Took a spontaneous day out here as a treat for my other half. He's a bit of a petrol head and I must say he was in his element. Good mix of cars old and new and a few models took me back to my childhood. The kids enjoyed it too there were lots of fun activities for them to do and a science show which my daughter loved, Top marks for the staff who are all helpful and friendly and the food in the cafe was also very tasty. Can highly recommend this place for any car enthusiast.

What a place!!! Great value. Great exhibits and the workshop area was a great insight into how it they look after the cars.

If you go, make sure you allow 2 to 4 hours to see it all. It's good but very confusing as it's not exactly as the map shows. Lots of cars, not enough room, so it becomes a jumble.

I went as part of a school trip. It was great loads to see including many cars from well know films. The workshop was great too.

Interesting selection of cars on display. Felt the tickets were quite pricey but probably worth it if you're interested in cars. However really disappointed we weren't given the option to buy an annual pass at the point of ticket purchase at the ticket office on site. We only saw this after buying the ticket. We were told that we couldn't retrospectively get an annual pass and should have been given the option when purchasing. We weren't and so I guess we just have to miss out because of staff error? Hopefully this is rectified and staff are reminded to offer the annual pass.

A Cathedral built for our worship of the automobile. A suitably grand building with beautiful space for illustrious ( and not so illustrious, but still lovely) cars. Well worth a visit!

Great to see all the cars that were on the road when I was younger, and all in pristine condition.

Nice.but clearly has had a lot of influence from JLR. I'd of liked it if they had stayed true to their words when they first opened saying they were independent.

Loads to see split over 2 buildings. Definitely would recommend a visit. The cars are quite densely packed in places, making it a challenge to view. Little thought has been put into telling a coordinated story for linked cars, so in most cases, it's about viewing individual cars and working out for yourself. The exception is where volunteers provide this service, e.g. the history of Jaguar. These people are excellent. Cafe is good for the rest breaks at lunch and other times.

Great day out, you really need two days to appreciate it all. We were there from 11 until 4.30. Lovely helpful staff, decent cafe, loads to see across the full range of eras and themes (film cars, prototypes, land speed cars etc etc) and across the full range of British marques and that’s before you go over to the Jaguar Collections centre to view a load more. All in all it far exceeded my expectations plus there was a Jaguar owners gathering in the car park so something else of interest

A good museum with an interesting range of cars from various manufacturers. I enjoyed seeing the rare prototypes, especially ones I'd been involved with. If you gift aid and get a 12 month ticket, it seems good value.

It's a great museum to visit. Lots of jaguars there also a lot of other cars. Some from very famous films. Well worth a visit.

Loved the collection. There were several prototype vehicles that looked good enough to have made it onto the road. The cafe was ok, with a large area in several halls. Good for when it's busy. Could have done with a few cakes, for those not wanting a full meal. Staff very good.

Wonderful interactive visit. Especially recommend the family tour with Professor Pickle (aka Jim) who has a marvelous educational approach delivered in a fun engaging manner. We have our year passes and will be back!

What a wonderfull place brought back many memories I am 73 years old my brother is 12 years older than me .so I could see cars that he drove . And cars that I owned my 2 year old grandson loved it

As a car lover, this was one of the greatest museums I’ve been to. Very impressive cars all around and some interactive areas to have some fun. We had a great visit and I am sure that you will not regret visiting too.

We pay a visit to the museum at least once or twice a year to some of the meet-up and show events with a few of our own cars. If you are into cars, this is the place to visit! There are loads of collections here, all beautifully presented and polished to perfection, set in a purpose made building to house them. There are cars throughout history, celebrity cars, sports, racing and even concept cars. Well worth the visit.

Really good afternoon out as a treat for 11year olds birthday. Really good displays in the main museum with lots to talk about with the kids. The other building with the workshop has some really weird and wonderful stuff to look at. The member of staff we met up there was brilliant. Superbly knowledgeable and engaged with the kids really well.

Wonderful collection of cars walking you through the history of British manufacturing industry. Good entertainment for kids aged above 7. Beware the double espresso price of 6 pounds!!!!!

Great tourist attraction! We loved how the cars were displayed and to be able to go inside two of them. Perfect for a rainy day like today. Is suitable for a wide range of age. I have visited lots of times and I was pleased to see new exhibitions. Keep up with the magnificent work! Thank you!
