Food was excellent, staff very friendly and chatty. Cosy feel to the restaurant. First time eating out since the pandemic and can't wait to go again.

We've ordered takeaway from there twice since covid. Both times the food was delicious. It's fantastic that you can customise and decide what you want your dish to be (eg. Veggies or meat etc)The tempura veg is always a great success for us! So yummy!

Omg where do I start.... took me wife here for a valentines meal, and from the very second we entered the building we were made to feel so welcome, such a friendly relaxed atmosphere too ..As for the food well omg ..... out of this world... we have not had Thai food of this standard for a very long time.. we will definitely be returning again and again

was in mullion for a few days and fancied something different to eat. came accross this place online booked a table. when i pulled up at the old post office i have to say i wasn't expecting the inside to look like it did. the owners have really captured the feal of a thai shack. right down to the toy lizards poking out of the holes. although at first we found the menu a little confusing, the food was fantastic. the resturant is being extended and although it is a work in progress its in a seperate part so doesn't affect anyone eating there. i had a quick tour of the future part and its awesome. we will deffo be coming back when its all fully open

This is a wonderful little restaurant with a great atmosphere and decor, extremely friendly and welcoming staff and fantastic food. Worth visiting Cornwall again for!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jumunjy Thai Cuisine @ The Old Post Office is outstanding in everyway. We are very fortunate to have this amazing restaurant on our door step. It's spotless, cozy and decorated with attention to detail, very beautifully Thia themed. The food is out of this world! They use locally sourced produce and authentic Thai ingredients to ensure that every meal is full of flavour and colour. I really can't think of another meal that can beat the taste of their food, in my opinion its Michelin star quality! Size of the meals are plentyful and presented with a certain elegance. They do take away which also won't diappoint! Highly recommended and will look forward to returning. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Me and my two friends ordered some food to take out from here, whilst staying in Cornwall and we loved it! The food was amazing, with great flavours. I had the Cashew nut chicken and would definitely have it again! We also had pad thai, thai green curry and crispy chicken wontons between us and we loved it all. I would recommend!

I have looked forward to ordering a takeaway from here, as always the food is outstanding. We had a fabulous prawn tempura starter and the tastiest curries for mains. The flavours and the cooking are just outstanding. May the Jumunji keep prospering and hopefully I’ll manage to get to the restaurant for a sit in meal next time. Our meal last night was amazing.

Great value with generous portions of fantastic food! Was visiting the area on holiday and had a sudden desire for Thai, wasn't sure what local options would be but was plesently surprised with this takeaway.Great spins on classics along with a wide set of options for vegetarians and Vegans :DWould visit again!

My family and I are staying on the Lizard and ordered takeout last night - we were all so impressed by the fresh and authentic flavours! We will definitely return next year! The BEST Thai food we have ever had - and the staff were lovely

We found this place a little difficult to find, but well worth the effort. They have an extensive takeaway menu and the food is great! The service is quick and efficient and there is plenty of parking space either nearby or in the hotel car park next door.Enjoy....

The thai food here is as close to the fabulous food I've eaten in Thailand as you can get. Well priced and good takeaway set up. We enjoyed it so much that we had planned to order again on the last night of our holiday but unfortunately they were closed at short notice. I wish they were closer to where I live :(If you are in the area on holiday, make sure you eat here!

Thank you Jumunjy! We have had yet another great take-out meal from them. We have had a small gathering at our house, family and friends. So 8 meals ordered, from different variety on the menu. Chicken Wontons as a starter choice are great, as is the Satay Chicken. Excellent Chicken Panang, Thai Green Prawn Curry, Massaman Curry and also the Hhao Soi Chicken. One of our group doesn't like to experiment too much foodwise - the Tempura Fish is an excellent alternative. We collected, so from premises to plate, about 10 minutes, perfectly hot in all the packaging. Best advice - book a collection time slot ahead, maybe a day or so ahead and then call back in the morning to place the order for evening collection. These guys are very popular and well deserved too, so plan ahead. This is quality food, that is prepared to order, so allow for that. Excellent service, under difficult Covid times, well done and thank you.

Recommended by our airbnb hosts and what a recommendation! 7 minute drive from where we are staying. We read on their website to order in advance if possible so we phoned mid afternoon and were able to get a 6:30pm pick up slot. Easy payment over phone and told to arrive and food would be delivered to our car. Bang on time and piping hot, the smell emanating from the bag meant we were in for a treat! Possibly the best vegetable spring rolls we've ever had. My wife had a vegetable dish which she said was spectacular and I had a basil & chilli chicken dish. Very generous with the chicken and a lovely mix of vegetables with it. Absolutely top class. Only sad we are just here on holiday and can't make it a regular occasion!!

Probably the best Thai food we have ever eaten. We are staying locally and had a recommendation from our hosts at Bochym Manor. Friendly staff, great service and amazing food! Let’s hope you can get the dine in restaurant open before our next visit.🙏

We drove all the way there just to find that there isn’t any dine in, not even outdoor seating. Then we rang the doorbell to see if we could order the food from then and eat it in the car. They completely ignored us and continuing on with what they were doing while we were outside burning in the heat. Next we got back into the car to call the restaurant from outside the restaurant. The service was bad since this was in the middle of nowhere. They answered and after a while of order half of what we wanted they hung up and when we called back they were apparently already occupied. This huge journey to get there was a massive waste of time that could be spent at restaurants who don’t ignore people on purpose.

Amazing food and amazing service! The food was piping hot and so tasty! We both had pad Thai and chicken satay side it tasted so fresh! Didn’t need to add any seasoning! We are camping nearby and thought we’d try Jumunjy out as heard so many good things about it. We loved it! So much so we’ve ordered again tonight haha! The staff were very welcoming, polite and our delivery was prompt, so I was impressed to start, however I was very disappointed with the squid and ribs starters, both were very dry and the squid was a ridiculously small portion, the chicken red Thai curry and chicken pad Thai were very flavoursome and we did enjoy these (again though the curry was a half portion) we also had a chicken cashew dish which was very tasty but the chicken was so thin it was too dry fried and had no consistency, the flavours were lovely but I must say for the price we paid I was left upset and disappointed. Would definitely recommend the moon bay Chinese instead. (Sorry)

The thai red curry wasnt the best iv had, and iv never seen it with peas in before??i would visit again if i was in the area, just wouldnt order the Thai red!

Delicious Thai takeaway delivered to our caravan during our holiday. Large portions and tasty food. All arrived piping hot which was great.

After hearing from friends about this Thai restaurant /takeaway, we put in a large order for 6 people. The service was excellent and the food piping hot and delicious dispite the 20 min journey back home. This was the first time we have had Thai, but will definitely not be the last. I found the red and the green Thai curries the best but everything tasted fresh and delicious.

Brilliant takeaway of top quality Thai food, with really fresh ingredients. The king prawn tempura was outstanding as were the main courses. Thoroughly recommended.

Had a takeout for a Family Birthday, arrived nice and hot, , I had the most delicious Vegan food, and they have so much choice, I’m definitely going to eat my way through the vegan section, I can’t rate this little gem highly enough.

After months of my boyfriend telling me how wonderful the food here is I finally got the chance to try it when he brought me to Mullion and wow. The food was delicious! It took us a while to get through on the phone but the collection time was reasonable. Looking forward to having more meals from here when I get the chance to visit Mullion again!

Amazing food and great staff. We have been buying their takeaways for years now since it started and I'm really happy they are doing so well. It is the only takeaway I have ever bought which is consistently great. Never had a bad experience, highly recommended!

We opted to have a family takeaway what with the current covid situation, and what a fine meal this was, I opted for one of the speciallity dishes which went down a treat. The rest of the family all loved their meals, with not a bite left over. Highly recommended, the food and service really were top class.

Discovered this place on our last night staying in Mullion after googling for somewhere local to pick some food up. I believe they do delivery but as we were out and about already we opted to phone our order in and collect kerbside. Food was ready in about 30-40 minutes and pickup was super quick and easy as payment was taken in advance on the phone. Staff were great both on the phone and in person and the food was amazing! It reminded us of all the lovely food we had whilst travelling in Thailand.Highly recommend this place if you are in the area, hope to revisit in a post covid world and be able to dine in the restaurant which looks lovely in all the photos.

After a long days walk along the coastal foot path this was just what we needed and am so glad I googled local takeaways to where we were camping. I can honestly say the food was delicious and very well portioned and turned up bang on time. We’ve never been to Thailand but feel that this was real traditional cooked food and would highly recommend. Next time we’re in Cornwall We’d definately come again.

Unfortunately the restaurant is closed so they only provide take away and delivery at the moment. But, undeterred we rocked up this evening in our motorhome, parked up outside, ordered a take away and enjoyed some amazing food. Everyone is allowed an opinion but I can honestly say we were not disappointed and the food brought back fond memories of our stay near Chaing Mai. Whilst we are only passing by on holiday in Cornwall we will certainly come back to try some more dishes. Highly recommended...certainly 5* plus

Had a delivery today Sat 05 Sep for takeaway food. Ordered for 6.30 & was told it may be a little later. Well it arrived on the dot, food and delivery service was excellent. Polite delivery driver. Have not had such excellent quality in a long time. Every dish was enjoyed by all. We were fairly new to Thai food, but this will not be our last. Will certainly recommend to all. Thanks again for such quality food.

We had heard that this place was good. It didn't disappoint. Incredible food and great service. Also quite a handy "Drive Thru" option to pick up your orders. (The Tom Yum soup is still causing me daily cravings scince) Bravo

Ordered food at 6:15pm for collection, was told food would be ready by 7:45pm, arrived and food was not ready to collect. Was kept waiting in my car a further 40minutes!! Absolutely disgusting service. No offer of a partial refund. Will not be ordering from here again. Don’t order from here if you want to wait a total of 2 hours and 40 minutes for food!

We live about ten minutes from jumunji and for some reason never tried it until last weekend. What a mistake it was leaving it this long! the food was incredible, the best around by far, really decent portion size, still hot when we got it home super fresh and full of flavour this is our new favourite! Very very highly recommend!

Just had the most delicious takeaway from these guys. Everything was was amazing, and we both think this was quite possibly the best takeaway food we have ever eaten. Penang pork belly highly recommended.

The food was outstanding. We had pork belly massaman and chicken panang and the flavours were sensational. The pork belly fell apart beautifully. Our tempura seafood starter was also delish. So fresh and light, no grease. We are only marking down as we had to wait 2 hours. 45 mins after our original eta. BUT it was absolutely worth the wait!

Trust me when I say I'm not one for leaving reviews to the point where I don't think I ever have actually written one! But I couldn't help leaving one for this as we've just had a takeaway and it is by far the best takeaway I have had in my life and trust me when I say I've eaten some takeaways! Food is amazing, although we had a fully fitted kitchen, we had takeaway most nights as it was so dam good, the JFC - Jumunjy fried chicken you have to taste, i had a different dish each time and enjoyed every one.Amazing food and such a lovely family run business, 5 stars all day.

I love my food, no word of a lie last night I had the best Thai food ever! For starters we had the honey roasted ribs, the meat just fell of the bone and tempura king prawns perfectly cooked.My 12 yo had JFC, she said it was better than well you can guess and loved the jasmine rice.I was greedy and had Vegetable Tom KA soup, you could taste the coconut and spices. Then for my main Cashew Nut Pad MeD with white rice mmmmmm My partner had the Beef Green Curry with rice and Sweet & Sour PadPrio Wann ... did not hear him talk during the whole meal :) loved it!Bonus the staff are professional and friendly.Definitely worth a visit or takeaway if you are near the area pity it is so far from home.

During the COVID lockdown we’ve had a couple of takeaways delivered. Last week we tried Jumunjy and it was superb so we tried it again tonight - anyone can get lucky once! I’m delighted to say that luck wasn’t involved, the food was, again, superb.My wife and I have both doesn’t time in Thailand (my wife worked there for several years) and we’ve both found that, here in the U.K. Thai food is often spiced down and sweetened up compared to the genuine article. Not so at Jumanjy where the flavours are very authentic. The food is not too spicy, so most people will be fine with it. The flavours are exceptional.Delivery was prompt and the prices reasonable - in fact the prices are excellent for the quality.Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back.

Having heard amazing reviews about this place we were excited to try it. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with our meal. The delivery was 15 minutes late. The tempura prawns were , in fact, in breadcrumbs. The chicken wontons were simply deep fried folded triangles of wonton wrapper with no sign of any filling whatsoever. We had a beef with basil dish which was very unappetising to look at - over cooked green beans, beef, mushrooms and baby corn in a greyish thin sauce. It tasted ok but nothing special. We also had a chicken and cashew nut dish which was nice but no better than many Chinese meals we’ve had in the past. At £40 for the food ( including two portions of rice) we wish we’d saved our money .

Food delivered to helston, starters and sides, cold and soggy, my main was devoid of vegetables (was supposed to be a pad Thai without mushrooms, peppers or egg) so I got some mushy noodles with microscopic bits of carrot, didn’t even bother putting peanuts as should be traditionally served. I rang to complain and was told someone would call me back, they didn’t. I rang the following day and spoke to the boss, who couldn’t have been less interested, not even an apology, he just insisted that that’s how it is cooked. I’ve had from there in the past and would’ve recommended it but not anymore, furthermore I shall be telling visitors to give it a wide berth. You would think that this type of establishment would want to keep locals happy for winter trade but not this one. Seriously go to the Chinese in helston or gweek

In February we booked a birthday bash for 6 of us, only to find it was doubled booked. We were there an hour in a small and cramped area of the tiny restaurant, to be fair he did compensate us for his mistake. Then last night we thought we would try the take away, phone through are order arrange for 8pm pick up, at 8.30 still no food and after watching 1 other guy leave with no food we decided to ask how much longer. We were told another 2 people ahead of us so we left again empty hand from this shocking badly organised business.

First time I’d tried the takeaway, bleddy Ansum it was, really good. Phoned and collected. The distancing regulations were meticulously followed, wait in your car outside and your food is brought to you,

Having driven past many times we decided to call in for lunch, what is a 16th century Cornish building on the outside has been transformed into warm comfortable Thai Restaurant on the inside and for a short time we could forget about the rain and the wind and enjoy our surroundings. We shared three dishes, Pad Thai, vegetable stir fry and yellow chicken curry, which was the right amount for us, all very tasty, washed down with a glass of wine! A bottle of tap water was already on the table when we arrived - a nice touch. Looking forward to a return visit and working our way through the extensive menu, see you soon!

We had dinner here this evening and thought it was fabulous. We had a main each and shared some noodles and thought each dish was so tasty. I can’t recommend Jumunjy highly enough, please go and try it. Having spoken to the owner, I understand they are about to expand. Just want to wish them good luck and say we will be back next time we are in the area.

We arrived here on valentine's which was understandably busy and we where early.We said Hi we are here for our meal but we are early, but we were surprised not to be asked if we would like a drink...we stood there for a while at the bar waiting until I eventually asked the waitress if we can have a drink?...she asked what we would like but then put the glasses and drinks on the bar but didn't pour them and walked away...Eventually we got out table which was nice, we ordered our starter and main and where surprised that out main turned up half hour later - the waitress then realised it was a mistake and it was another table for twos food.The food - The food tastes great - really nice! Probably the best Thai in Cornwall by a mile but my £15 main meal was lacking in any kind of veg - but my wife's green curry was very nice!...and I would have priced the meals the other way around...We where again a bit disappointed that we had to ask for another drink before we left as no one asked - no one asked if we would like a dessert or anything.At paying we where informed that it would of been 50p more to have a whole bottle of prosecco rather than two minis?!The owner informed us he's winging it tonight as the tables have been moved about and he doesn't t know what's going on - which I as a manager wouldnt have ever said to a client personally.We then noticed that the restaurant charges a 10 percent service charge - bit of joke considering the service that evening.We didn't want to fuss so we just paid, don't get me wrong the foods nice, really nice and I have personally lived in Thailand and Asia so I know how the food tastes and this is good! But the front of house service is not so great.All in all a good meal but at £75 for two without a dessert I would expect better treatment and the service charge is going to mount up if your a large party.Maybe they where having a bad night - who knows we where just a bit disappointed as we don't get out much having young children...

The best Thai food we’ve had since staying on Koh Tao! We ordered a lot of dishes to celebrate (ribs, satay, tom yum soup, various pad thai with different meats, red curry, mussaman curry) and every single one brought a massive smile to our faces. The Tom Yum soup is exactly as flavoursome and spicy as you’d like, and the Pad Thai was a dream as i’ve been craving a real one for years! The staff thought we’d ordered enough for twelve people, but as it was all so delicious, five of us managed to polish it off in an evening! Will definitely be visiting every time I come to stay on the Lizard!

Living locally, we had heard a lot about Jumunjy and have now eaten there twice. Once in the evening and again at lunchtime. The atmosphere is authentic as is the food. You can tell immediately that the chef loves what she is doing. The food is freshly prepared and simply delicious, in a variety of exciting flavours. Front of house is equally good and you are sure of a very watm welcome. It is a fairly small restaurant, so I would recommend bookings wherever possible.

The restaurant is fantastic thought I was on holiday, the decor is creative, authentic and fascinating. The food is delicious, spot on everytime, full of flavours, attention to detail and finishing touches consistent. The owners and staff are friendly, welcoming, and generally really lovely genuine people. This is by far my favourite food and now my favourite restaurant who wouldn't want to feel like they are somewhere exotic while having a meal!!

The food is first class and when you can’t decide what to choose off the extensive menu just tell Tristan what you want ie chicken hoy and spicy he will suggest dishes to try. We ventured down from Newquay and wow it was well worth it. We've never tasted food like it, so delicious, the children loved it too. Something for everyone on the menu. My husband is a chef and very fussy about where we eat. He is still talking about the food this morning.

i booked a table for 5 to celebrate my wife's birthday and from the moment we arrived we were treated like welcomed guests. The menu was exiting and all dishes explained fully. the quality of the food and service was excellent. I cannot fault this restaurant which also does takeaway food. Keep up the good work.

We managed to book a table at the Jumunjy Thai Restaurant, whilst visiting Mullion for the weekend. It was a real treat and matched any food we’d eaten in Thailand. The owner is great and made you feel really welcome...book early they are very popular.

Anyone who has used and enjoyed Jumunjy Thai takeaway in the eight years they have been serving The Lizard have got to get down to their new restaurant in Cury (The Old Post Office by The Wheel Inn).

We had a very enjoyable experience at Jumunjy with excellent food and service. Staff even moved a table for us so that we had a better location and all done with a big smile.

Coming from a big city, but Mullion being my true home, it's such a treat to have some variety in food, and so well done. We ordered pad thai, a curry, tom kha soup and some starters and not one dish was anything other than delicious. Incredibly fresh, packed with flavour - one of the best Thai meals I've had in a long time.

I have travelled the world and occasionally come across real Independent, friendly gems with amazing food and great service.... was not expecting to find this astonishingly fabulous restaurant here!

We came to the restaurant, with great anticipation, as we have had takeaway from the Jumunjy over a few years. It did not disappoint, the decor was quirky with a great ambience and the food was just fabulous. The tempura prawns, and my Massaman curry was just so beautifully cooked and flavoursome. I know I sound gushing, but this little restaurant deserves to do well for the owners, who are so friendly and charismatic. An evening here is an evening to remember.

Seven of us visited this new restaurant. We had previously had a takeaway from Jumunjy several years ago, so were very excited to try the restaurant. The attention to detail that the owners have put into designing the interior is phenomenal - all that's missing is a gecko or two! We were a group consisting of my mum, my husband, our three child and one of their friends. We were interested to see what the children would order (8-12 year olds) but Tristan gave some advice on the menu and we all ordered confidently (eventually, the menu is huge!) The children loved the chicken satay skewers and pork ribs and tried our curry's too. We'll definitely be going back - we haven't stopped talking about it since!

I don't say this very often. But this place is a total gem. The food is bloody amazing. Great friendly knowledgeable people. So if you're not too sure about Thai food they are more than happy to recommend things. The menu is very extensive. I think this place could bankrupt me

We booked a table via the internet and explained our dietary requirements. On arrival the owner (Tristan) came over to us, he made a number of suggestions from the menu that with a bit of tweaking would be suitable. We ordered our meals and after what seemed a very short time considering the meals were being cooked freshly, two fantastic meals appeared The food was exquisite and plenty of it. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very relaxed and there was no pressure put on anyone to hurry. The only down side is the restaurant is about 280 miles from where I live, but we will be going there the next time we go toCornwall

Hooray! A new restaurant for the Lizard, within easy reach of us in Helston. And a pretty good one too. Loved your decor, loved your food - really interesting and complex spice flavours, and loved the energy behind your service.

We’re on holiday on the lovely if wet Lizard peninsula and spotted this little gem of a place on our way. The owner is a very friendly guy and his wife is the chef. They’ve had a mobile unit and have done lots of festivals and this is their first bricks and mortar place. It’s been open about 8 months and from what we saw, it’s already a firm favourite with regulars . We had some of the best, freshest tasting Thai food I’ve ever had. Great veggie red curry and cashew stir fry the first time - and yes we went back ... only to find it was fully booked! But fear not, they do takeaways too! A wonderful veggie Penang curry and pad Thai to go. (They even deliver if you live close enough) We have another week of holiday left and have already booked a table for our last night.

Fantastic food, great fresh flavours and awesome service too. The restaurant is a unique and fun setting, highly recommended & we will definitely be going back to explore the menu more!

Had to have a little bit of a search to find it(I drove passed it over 10 times although it was fairly obvious)but, definitely worth the search.

What a lovely place! So cosy and welcoming. The food was gorgeous too. Really lovely flavours. We will definitely come back and will recommend it to our friends who often visit this area.

This place is amazing! You walk in and the decor is quirky and eye catching, you feel like you are in a special place. The staff are friendly, and helpful on the menu recommendations. All the food we ordered, starters and mains were delicious and authentic. Thinking about it now is making my mouth water. The adults loved the spring rolls, the tempura and the green curry, but it was all really high quality and flavour. The kids loved the JFC chicken, such a good idea! We wish we lived closer as this place is a real find. Go there if you can, you won't be disappointed!
