Juliet's Farm Shop & Cafe in Dover

Have eaten breakfast on a couple of occasions now. Super impressed with the choice for coeliacs at breakfast. Gluten free sausages and decent gf bread/toast. I've had the full English and it's absolutely perfect! The mint areo milkshake is also delicious. Perfect breakfast. I noticed the farm shop had some gluten free bits in to which is great!

Called in for an ice cream, and whilst there I saw a young man,(wearing a face mask) clearly with learning disabilities walking round the shop. He picked up a few things then put them down, the owner (not wearing a face mask) then bullishly came along and "herded" the young man out of the shop, saying he was barred from ever going in there again!! Instead of explaining that people cannot randomly touch things these days because of Covid, the owner just threw him out in a very aggressive manner.Thank goodness for the lovely young girl and young man who worked there, they showed compassion and gave him an ice cream.I certainly wont be returning. The owner should be ashamed of his actions

Our second visit. Food excellent again I had the bacon and brie panini and my partner the avocado, bacon and melted camembert salad. Very good rose wine and excellent coffee

Visited twice during our stay in Kent. Had the small cooked breakfast which was perfect and excellent value. First time went at 10.30 and had a long wait as it was extremely busy and we hadn't booked (our fault!). Second time we booked and went at 9.30 which was much better and calmer. Both times the food quality was high and I would recommend it.

Accommodating outdoor space for eating breakfast/brunch or lunch- really nicely done. Food was good, staff efficient, friendly and hard-working. It was nice that all the sauce bottles looked clean and wiped which I guess is a positive from everything being more sanitized due to Covid-19. Our first visit the other week as recommended by friends and looking forward to returning earlier in the day to try out the breakfasts.

Because of Covid restrictions, we have not dined out for ages. Booked in advance for breakfast for four. Had usual covid app scan, and shown to our table, witch is outside, but under cover of a large perspex type roof.We all chose small breakfast with fried bread, Tea & coffee's. The staff as all friendly and professional, the food is outstanding, good quality and cooked to perfection! If you haven't eaten here, your really missing out! Can't wait to eat here again. Well done to all the Staff, this was a great start to the day! Will be back soon.

Good home cooked food excellant service and attention to detail, if you want a relaxed and pleasant meal this is the place to go, however I would advise you to book as it does get busy.

I could wax lyrical about this place! The food is heaven, the portions are large, the service is fab and the whole place is just fantastic!

Really love this place! A great place to come for a relaxed breakfast or lunch. The staff are always friendly and great options from coffee, teas to milkshakes or even soft drinks or alcohol! They also have a great range of food choices for everyone and their brownie is absolutely delicious! One of my favourite places to go!

After a recommendation from a friend, my wife and I booked a 12.30 pm table in one of two covered areas in the outside 'cafe'. The venue was busy and we were wise to have booked. Even with an easterly wind on the day, we were sheltered and comfortable whilst still being in the open air. Usual Covid19 precautions were in place.The food was delicious with lamb shank for my wife which had been cooked to perfection and a fish pie for me which was fresh and delicious. We both enjoyed the perfect lemon cheesecake sweet and the coffee was excellent.The staff were friendly and the service was good at a busy time. The owner was keen to talk with staff and the cook appeared before we left to explain that the lamb shank had fallen off the bone, did my wife mind? No, she did not.Excellent meals in a very pleasant setting with ample parking and at a reasonable price.

The best food outlet in the area by far. The staff are all extremely friendly and super efficient. The quality of food is superb, all local produce sourced within a couple of miles of Juliets. It’s great go to place all year around, with a seated garden area in the summer that perfectly compliments the indoor area and veranda.The choice of food is great with a good range for vegans and vegetarians alike. Definitely worth a visit.

we visited this gem of a cafe today for lunch . Apart from the amazing quality of the food we felt we had to compliment the management about their compliance regarding Covid 19. The place is spotlessly clean throughout , tables and chairs were being cleaned after each visit and sanitizers were at all key points within the restaurant. We have eaten here quite a few times for breakfast and lunch and it just gets better every time. Eggs don't come much fresher as the chickens are roaming around right near the car park ! I was disappointed that I couldnt purchase any from the farms shop as they had sold out. The young lady said the hens couldn't keep up with demand . The Staff are really friendly and accommodating . Their cakes are really yummy too. We will certainly return very soon.

The best thing to happen to Ash in a very long time, the village has been crying out for a cafe for years. And Juliet's never disappoints, the staff are always friendly and helpful and always genuinely pleased to see you. They've worked hard to get the cafe set up to be covid safe. The food is always beautifully cooked and very enjoyable. Looking forward to my next visit

Just had the most amazing breakfast at Juliette's, so lucky to have this wonderful cafe close by, fabulous farm shop attached with lots of local produce and their own eggs. My little girl really enjoys feeding the chickens when we visit. Delicious food and friendly service, what more could you ask for! Really going to miss this place when we move but we'll be back to visit!

Visited Juliets today for lunch staff were all friendly on arrival. Had a delicious Brie cranberry and bacon toastie and a particularly good cappuccino!! Would highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be back again.

Met with friends for breakfast. We all chose the small breakfast with added fried slice. It wasn't long before we were all tucking into our very tasty hot breakfast. All with two slices of toast and our chosen hot drinks. Have been many times before and will definately return as Juliets does serve a wonderful breakfast, all served by very friendly staff.

Met up with friends for Breakfast, had booked in advance as very popular. Very warm welcome on our arrival, by nice lady who showed us to our table inside. Good choice menu. We all had the Small breakfast and tea and coffee's. The food arrived hot, well cooked, and very, very, tasty. We’ve had a couple of meals at Juliet’s and we love it. Both times, we sat out in the back garden, under a wide shady umbrella, which was perfect. The owners were friendly and accommodating, coming to check on our table and even bringing our desert to us. We had the veggie burger and the angus burger. Both were outstanding. The chips were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. The Americano coffees could have been a touch stronger for our tastes, but they were still good. The milkshakes are yummy. We’ll definitely return !

Amazing fresh food, friendly amazing helpful staff and owners, I have become a regular great prices great fresh produce sourced locally, coffee and speciality teas and cold drinks its advisable to book, I have been coming a few years now. And if you like cake there freshly baked cakes are to die for you wont find a better place to have Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Quality at its best we love it here, local family run business which is great for our village community, why go to 5 star places when I would give them a 10 star rating any day for great friendly service with real smiles and lovely cooked meals, take my rating and go and find exactly what is mentioned above x

I have visited before and had the best breakfast I’ve ever had, this time I went for lunch and it filled me up for days! Excellent all round and they cater for absolutely everyone! 10/10

We visited juliet's on the 12th August for a birthday lunch.It took a while to receive a menu, fair enough, it was busy and a hot day, however, they should only take bookings that they have the capacity for to cater to everyone to ensure a smooth customer service. Disappointed that they was only one vegan meal on the menu which they didn't have available. My mum mentioned how long we waited for food and that we had been there for over an hour, i feel as a customer you are well within your rights to do so.The owner Richard came over and started shouting at my poor mum (birthday girl in her 70s) and causing a scene, quite aggressively. There was no need for this and nobody deserves to be shouted at, least of all a paying customer...I also do not appreciate swearing around my 12 year old daughter!My mum did manage to get a baked potato with beans only for Richard to say 'you got your vegan meal'!! Very disgusted as this was a favourite cafe of ours.We will not be returning...!

Quite simply outstanding. All staff are friendly, efficient and unfailingly helpful. The food is first class in every respect and presented perfectly. The farm shop sells beautiful fruit and vegetables. Juliet’s is the best cafe I have been to in a very long time. Highly recommended.

Very argumentative waiter / owner who was not happy that we complained about having over an hours' wait between arrival and being served (1.30pm to 2.37pm ) and went inside to check that we had only waited 45 mins from ordering! Obviously over booked and could not cope so he actually swore in front of my granddaughter! No ice on a hot day / no vegan burgers left The only option for a vegan was jacket potato with beans Waiter interjected that we were getting it half price anyway!!!!! I had chosen this place for my birthday lunch over any other in the district as I had really enjoyed a vegan meal there about 12 months ago - what a disappointment!!! I shall not be returning!!

went for my 1st meal out since lockdown, very well marked out, social distancing measures brilliant, hand sanitser available, made me feel safe, the food was excellent, as usual, staff very polite friendly and professional, lovely place to go, can sit outside in the garden or inside great facilities. will frequent this place a lot. very good value for money too.

Had a lovely brunch here this morning on our bike ride. Staff incredibly friendly, lovely outdoor spaces to sit, felt very safe, social distancing observed well. Food was delicious - I am vegan and they were very accommodating. Will def come here again!

My daughter found this hidden Gem by accident after “Their usual” was shut and saw the sign coming from Canterbury to Sandwich and thought they would give it a try.. they have been back 5 times and now with me. The staff are lovely and very attentive. Setting is beautiful and eggs, well you can’t get fresher as they have their own chickens (500 with more on their way) opposite the cafe. Very yellow eggs, very tasty and very fresh. The food was so delicious. We sat outside on bench tables surrounded by hanging baskets. Dogs are also allowed outside and were even provided with a big bowl of water on arrival. Toilets very clean and plenty of hand sanitizer available. There was also a farm shop next door but didn’t go in today but will be back to discover more. I loved watching the happy chickens roam next to the car park. Highly recommend and will return.

This little cafe is set back from the high street in Ash with hundreds of chickens. It has a farm shop as well as a cafe, which gets very busy at the weekend. Great choice with table service. Great cake selection as well a choice of bread for sandwiches etc. Get there early as the run out of things quickly. When you have finished why not feed the hundreds of free range chicken and take some eggs home.Plenty of parking, access for those with disabilities. Toilets on site too

Visited early March 2020. Eggs Benedict and on return visit, eggs Florentine. Both times food perfectly cooked and very swiftly served. I particularly liked the crispy cooked parma ham in the Benny. My only criticism is that the plates could be a lot warmer as the food gradually loses its heat and neither dish should be hurriedly eaten, but leisurely consumed.

After having the worst experience at Gibson’s farm , we went to Juliets for a breakfast. I had the garlic buttered mushrooms with the best poached eggs ever on sour bread . Fabulous ! Staff were very friendly and efficient and a reasonable bill . Will be coming back and will be recommending all my air bnb guests to you. Thank you .

Visited the cafe for the first time today. Normally when I give a 5 star review it is really a 4 1/2 or maybe slightly higher but very rarely 5. But today was definitely a 5 star. First of all the service was excellent and I couldn't fault any of the three staff I dealt with. Then the coffee was spot on as well. Both me and my partner ordered The Garden Breakfast and both of us agreed it was faultless. From the perfectly poached eggs to the sautéed potatoes neither of us could find fault. A nice little caramel slice to finish things off meant a 5 star review. Great staff, great venue and great food, truly excellent!

Amazing staff, lovely people who run the place & nice waitress. Amazing food, the cakes are great & the burger is to die for as is the coffees! Couldn’t recommend enough. Great success & are managing to not be a victim of their own success! Can’t wait to try their extensive breakfast menu.

After being recommended by friends and seeing the ta reviews we decided to visit here yesterday, we took along our toddler who was ecstatic to see the chickens! It was incredibly busy and something happened that I have never experienced in my nearly two years of parenting, as soon as we ordered the manager came up and said “I’m really sorry food will be 30minutes would your little one like some toast now?” Of course she did and this combined with the chickens was just what she needed to keep happy. As a mum I can’t express how lovely this was. The food was also lovely, ham egg and chips was perfect and I really enjoyed my southern chicken strips, even the toast looked delicious! Overall a great lunch, reasonably priced, we’ll definitely be back!

With strong reviews on TA we decided to give this place a try.Nice place with super friendly people. Good range of stuff on the breakfast menu.We went for a Red Ranger and an eggs Benedict and enjoyed them both.Nice little farm shop, free range chickens outside - all nice and fresh.

We visited for the first time yesterday. I’ve been aware of you for a year or two but have never visited. I’m glad I now have. My wife enjoyed her lunch and my fish pie was excellent. I gather this is one of your most popular dishes and I can understand why. We will definitely return - and I’d like to sample your breakfast next time.

We come to Juliettes regularly,we eat in the Cafe which never disappoints, whether you have breakfast or lunch. Today we had brunch/ breakfast it was consisted of 2 poached eggs,with Hollandaise sauce on and crunchy seeds,sourdough toast,grilled tomatoes, Advocado, Halloumi sticks,and Saute potatoes, it was lovely will be having that again. It has the farm shop which has all local veg ,and eggs from Chickens that are in paddocks literally 50 yards away, great place to go and brilliant staff.

Excellent breakfast, fantastic ingredients, cooked really well, the eggs superb. Service attentive. Will be back very soon.

I am very decisive, when I shop it’s a well timed, well executed military operation, fast in, choose and out in time for tea and medals. Not so easy at Juliettes, first I wanted the eggs Benedict then I wanted the eggs Florentine then the full English then the Garden breakie etc....there wasn’t a bad choice on the menu. I succumbed to dithering.

Want the best meal in the area then get here quick. Despite my disappointment in missing breakfast by 3 minutes the food drinks and service that followed was absolutely spot on. Breakfast bap made up for the missing Full English and Catherine’s quiche was outstanding. Omelette with several fillings worth every penny. Eggs you couldn’t get better cooked and fresher.

Lovely setting with the chickens in the field! Great farm shop with local produce. The eggs benedict are the best I’ve had, my husband had the garden breakfast which was amazing! They also have the usual full English etc. Super quick service as well for freshly cooked food like this. The vibe is relaxed and welcoming. Good coffee, lovely menu, ten out of ten! I think breakfast finishes at 12 then it moves on to lunch menu. We will be back found our new go to for Sundays!

This a place I grew up when it was just a farm! I was so chuffed to go back and realise what an amazing space it is! The decor in the cafe is beautiful the staff are all very attentive, well spoken and happy! And can’t do enough to help! There is a great menu of freshly grown and reared produce and the result is perfect! I couldn’t recommend enough! Well done to all involved!

Arrived to a lovely cheerful greeting , everywhere was spotless . Nice fresh coffee , perfectly cooked poached eggs from the girls outside . Great sausages and bacon . An absolute pleasure to visit . Shame we could not buy the same sausages in the farm shop ( just an idea )

Ate there twice whilst on holiday in Kingsdown. Really enjoyed the food and they were very friendy with great service. Plenty of options for a vegetarian. Good and clean toilets. There is a little shop there too, selling fresh eggs and other produce. When you arrive you can see a field of free range chickens.

I have been here many times with family and friends and have never been disappointed. The drinks and food are excellent - great quality and beautifully presented on stylish white china. There are plenty of tables for different size groups and even when it is very busy the acoustics are really good. There are many things which show how well thought out this delightful business is. There are highchairs for families, newspapers for those wanting a quiet escape, fresh flower displays in very original vases, large umbrellas at the two outside seating areas, plenty of parking with spaces available near the door for those with limited mobility, easy access for wheelchairs or pushchairs, fantastic lavatory facilities, their very own hens whose eggs you can buy along with a wide choice of fresh produce...the list goes on! The food and drinks are well priced and presented, offering excellent value for money. It is a real pleasure to go somewhere which does not have endless decorations to provide a farmshop feel. Juliet's does not need anything else to 'sell' it. The owners and staff are lovely, friendly and efficient with time to welcome you. They seem to genuinely care about each of the customers of whom there are many. They always take time to make sure you are happy and we always are! This is a very special retreat, well positioned in quiet countryside but not far from the main road. It is quite simply a fantastic. lovely place to go. Perfect!

Visited this little gem of a place last week for breakfast. Will definitely be retuning, it was delicious, it’s a bit pricey but so what.....when you get served a breakfast that good I don’t care, staff were very pleasant also. Overall very good experience. Keep up the good work guys

We had breakfast here and it was really yummy. They cater for big and small appetites on the menu which suited me fine. We were served by a reality lovely gentleman who was most polite and friendly and helpful . A lovely setting with outdoor seating as well as indoor tables.

Situated off the main drag and in a lovely setting, this ideal little hideaway eating venue is a must for all eat out food lovers. A Great menu selection, with tastes for most including veggies, from a quick light snack to a full onslaught of scrumptiousness. Plenty of seating inside as well as a nice outside seating area all tucked away from the view of the road. Fortunately for me our visit was at the beginning of the Asparagus season, to which im rather partial, so we were easily persuaded by staff to try out the Asparagus and Ham Quiche accompanied with saute potatoes and salad, which was divine. Tempted as I was to try out the Homemade Type Milkshakes on offer, I settled for a nice latte to help the food go down. We found the Staff to be both helpful and pleasant, showing great customer service , and to add to the attraction the attached farm shop / butcher Outlet offered eggs from on site (you can see the free roaming hens as you arrive ) and local produce from around the area.

1st visit, great service by young people, helpful, accommodating and pleasant, however the older man with a beard needs to smile more, very stern, didn’t converse or find anything amusing, even if it wasn’t lol, ☹️However we will definitely visit again, a great half way point on a Sunday morning walk.

Had a great breakfast catered well for vegetarian and vegan members of the group as well as traditional eaters. were very happy to add and remove things from the plate to meet personal taste coffee was good. Bread from the farm shop is excellent. All in all well worth going

Arrived at 11ish on Sunday morning. Very windy day! Staff very good and prompt. Breakfast arrived quickly and was delicious. Eggs and black pudding amazing. 5* will be back.

This farm shop and cafe is just amazing, the produce on sale is all fresh and wonderful, and the cafe has food to die for, it is a must visit.

Best Breakfast for miles, lovely Staff, good choice of food, and Zero Mile Eggs cooked how you like them. We had the full English and a pot of Tea for two, and really enjoyed it so much we will be back very soon! Thank you all!

We have been to Juliet’s Cafe in Ash several times for breakfast and lunch. The food is excellent quality, served hot and plenty of it. The staff and the owners are very friendly and customer focussed. They are keen to ensure you are happy and check back with you once you have received your food. There is also a shop on site with fresh produce from local farms and eggs from their own chickens. A real family business. We booked breakfast here on New Year’s Day which was lovely - good start to 2019.

Slightly confusing which door is the front door, but it’s all wheelchair and buggy accessible which is great. immediately served whilst i waited for my friend who had her young baby. my drink arrived quickly and a highchair was promptly placed by the table. It was still breakfast so wasn’t able to order of the lunch menu, but my breakfast was great and they also have gluten free bread which was the best i’ve tasted. juliette uses her chicken (free range) eggs to cook with and my breakfast filled me up. on the way out the husband of the owner helped us open the door for my friends buggy, little things like this make a huge difference. lovely looking farm shop to. really lovely addition to ash.

I ordered a sausage and bacon sandwich and a latte. The sandwich was made with very nice hand cut bread, but had only one rasher of bacon placed diagonally and one and a half sausages!! So plenty of mouthfuls of bread only for a top end price of over £4.

We visited Juliet’s cafe and farm shop for breakfast last weekend. I had the eggs benedict which was really good, made with fresh eggs from the on site chickens, my partner had The healthy eggs with advocado which she loved and our daughter and her bf both had the full English which so good they are begging to come back this weekend for more!

Went here for lunch with my grown up kids and grandchildren. Lovely lunch staff very helpful well worth a visit.

Have been a customer of the farm shop here for some years, and watching the business expand, so when we visited a couple of month's back and viewed the new Cafe extension, we agreed we would try it out one day. So we returned last Tuesday with a couple of friends for breakfast. There are tables inside and out. Find a table, view the menu, and the lovely server's will take your orders. I had the Full English with toast, and fried slice as extra, and a nice Cuppa Tea. Service was swift, considering it was busy. We all agreed, best breakfast we've had for a long time, hot, really tasty bacon, tomatoe's (Heinz beans) eggs from chickens on site.....wonderful, good value for money! Will be back soon!
