A lovely place with real candles on tables. We enjoyed the food and loved talking with the owner who makes the beloved desserts.

This is consistently a super restaurant. Always a lovely welcome, with wonderful food, an extensive menu and super friendly service. It’s always a pleasure to go for lunch

The waitress was friendly and helpful, but the owner appeared indifferent and not welcoming at all. Although the restaurant had a good name locally, the food was average. I think for the price, there are much better venues.

Quaint and cosy. A menu that gives one enough choice and a very good selection of wines. The restaurant is located on a quiet residential street and the interior is period style - it’s very unique. Service was great. The Hereford steak and treacle tart was amazing. If I lived closer I’d be there more often!
