Thank the Lord this place shut. I prayed for this day. The entire restaurant absolutely stunk to high heaven of a million years of unwashed waiters. Absolutely shocking dining area. Bulldoze immediately.

It was disgusting chewy lamb cold tasteless, oily, undercooked rice salty popadoms, the owner was very rude and dismissive, the spices were not cooked off it was grainy and bland and to top it off a mouse run out of the kitchen and in to the restaurant, Annapurna in Chiswick is the best of the rest five stars ⭐️ Avoid Jubraj at all costs

I was a regular client until yesterday. I ordered food from home. The driver used my number not only for professional use but to connect with me on a private note without even asked me. Once I did block him on his personal number (I believe), he started to call me from the work number and he sent me a message. I then called the restaurant asking what’s going on and expecting help (especially being a regular client) and I have been told that they couldn’t do anything about this and they hang up on me while I was talking. I am very disappointed with this as it was the only Indian restaurant I really liked but this for me goes beyond the good food even. I asked to cancel my number and they lost a regular client for missing the opportunity to fix the very unprofessional and creepy situation.

My wife/in-laws and I have been coming to Jubraj for well over 10 years now (albeit intermittently because of covid/relocating etc) and still to this day is the best curry house we have ever been to. Hands-down. Thankyou Jubraj for always being there and for always being consistent/potentially better each time we visit! The Smiths x

Unfortunately, absolutely & utterly mediocre food. So disappointing, considering all the great Indian I’m accustomed to in Vancouver. Don’t waste your time eating at this restaurant. Truly!

We have had at least 15 deliveries from Jubraj in the past year. The food is delicious, best Indian in Ealing in my view. Service is friendly and reliable. Slightly pricy but good quality. Highly recommended.

This restaurant has been around a long time going back to the 80s but tonight it fell short chicken Jalfrezi poorly cooked no Green chilies but plenty of old chicken.???? Naan bread not cooked properly doughy special rice slightly hard although I will not complain about that come on guys you have been here a long time up you game or loose your customers

My family have been going to this restaurant for over 30 years and it never disappoints. The manager and staff are always so friendly, efficient and can’t do enough for you. We have take away once a week and go in to the restaurant for special occasions. The food is the best and I have friends who we have bought there that say it’s the best they’ve ever eaten. Can’t recommend enough!

Myself and my family enjoyed a lovely meal at this restaurant last night for our Auntie and Uncle's 28th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious, we enjoyed every dish. All dishes were served hot and tasted fresh. The service was also superb. The staff were really lovely and friendly and made us feel welcome, especially Riad who served us, made us laugh and gave us great dish recommendations. We'll definitely be back.

Great delicious food & very good customer service This is the Second time meal take from here , it was excellent food and service. This is the best place around for excellent Indian food. Had Butter chicken, lamb rogan, Jubraj king prawn and lamb Balti, all were excellent, very tasty, hot, well spiced and good size portions. Nan bread is best around as is onion Bhaji and rice. Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Spent nearly £100. Left a decent tip, asked for a glass of tap water but restaurant wouldn't serve one. Have spent thousands over the years at Jubraj, but will never visit again.

We got a take away, the biryani was unauthentic with no north indian spices, we aske for a Daal Makhani and instead got a yellow tarka daal with spinach in it. the tandoori roti was nice. overall give it a low rating because the food was extremely oily, was bland and without character

Really is the best curry around, remember coming here when i was younger but moved away from the area, so thought we would pop back to try a curry some 15 years later! We was not disappointed.

Always a great curry from here, flavoursome and fresh. Of all the Indian's I've tried, this one always comes out on top. Can't be beaten! Great service and great value.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years and have to say i have never had a bad meal and personally rate it as the best Indian Restaurant I have ever been to. The staff are courteous and attentive, the food quality is always excellent and they cannot do enough for you. If there is something you want and it is not on the menu, just ask, they will bend over backwards to accommodate your wishes. Just love the place.

It is a nice place in Acton, I had some really lovely king prawn dishes there. However, a bit worrying was a fact that the owners did not display the hygiene rating to the customers. I enquired about it and was told it was 3, but I did not see any proof of that other than a couple of people who claimed to be regular customers who were actually having their food in Jubraj at that particular evening.I would strongly recommend to keep the information out as it feels kinda dodgy when hidden.

I found the restaurant on a local map and was very delighted with the nice waiters and the food. Dishoon is a favorite of mine, but Jubraj was as good and much closer. The curry was terrific as well as the Bombay potatoes. Fair prices and clean restaurant.

Surprised this place gets good reviews, I come here a lot because I live locally and there is not a lot of choice nearby but although I do come regularly I would not say this is particularly good, basically the service, staff, decor, ambience are all excellent but the food is greasy, all main courses come with sat in half an inch of oil and even the starters/bhajis/dhal etc are very 'glistening'. If you like old school 80s curry this is for you, if not try somewhere further afield.

Dropped in on a Monday night we ordered Zuzu chicken and Chicken Karahi both are excellent and highly recommended garlic bread is best we have ever had as are onion bhaji

Las gambas eran demasiado picante el pollo samosa llena de pollo eran simplemente sencilla. Principal el cordero era muy dulce y tenía que ser devuelto el pollo mantequilla también dulce. En general, la comida no era impresionante. Uno de los huéspedes no tomó un postre de mango mango fresco pero bien, sin postre congelado de estilo industrial. No se lo recomendaría, pero encontrar un buen indio alrededor de ealing esos días no es fácil.

This restaurant is a gem. I judge Indian restaurants mainly by the quality of their meat. The lamb here is just great. Friendly staff and very clean (5 star rating). Highly recommended.

Just how busy this restaurant was on a Tuesday evening in early March bears testament to the excellent all round offer. The food was well presented and of high quality, the friendly staff were very attentive to our party of five and the overall ambiance was really good. Good value for money.

We had our best Indian meal at Jubraj. The food is very tasty and the waiters are extremely friendly. It also seems to be the only place to have goat cheese seamless. They are delicious!

If you like Indian food then give this place a try. It's a local Indian so don't expect Michelin star service but they are attentive and helpful people. I recommend a Chicken Balti Peshwari and Chicken Shashlik - both were 'spot-on' and you can ask for the level of heat up-front to match your taste, we ordered Madras. In and out in 45 minutes with a six year old daughter on a Sunday night. You can't beat their Naans - I've been to all the best Michelin Indian restaurants and being Indian myself these guys know how to make the perfect naan - not had one better in London. Go on - give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

Food is amazing as always.....Unfortunately customer service takes a full nose dive.. and that Is not the staff.. but the owner. He feels to be more sl loyal to regular long term customers.. so good luck if you are a new visitor. Such a shame.... poor chef!!

Good starters so things looked promising, Because we had kids with us we wanted mild dishes - but we didnt expect the Butter Chicken to be so sweet as was the Fish Masala. The waiter explained it was for and English palate but I have butter chicken and Fish Masala. In other places we have eaten, those dishes were served mild but not sickeningly sweet. So beware of the so-called mild dishes, Actual fish and meat pieces were good quality though. Also we had 2 mains, 2 starters, 4 nans, one side and drinks - it came to over £60 so its a bit costly.

Food was lovely, and service was lovely! My friend is a bit fussy when it comes to food, but the staff were happy to accommodate. She and I would definitely go there again.

Delivery in just over 20 mins from time of order ( to a place about 7 mins away) we were impressed.. Food arrived warm and was tasty and less oily (ghee-y?) than often the case.

I always go for a meal out when seeing friends in London but sometimes the curries haven't lived up to expectation. But this one was excellent. Nothing could be faulted plus excellent staff and very reasonably priced. We tried eight different dishes and all great. £82 for four including drinks. My friends travel quite a way to visit this curry house despite having many more nearer to them. I can see why.

Ordered a takeaway for family would never use this reataurant again . Lamb was chewy seeped in oil . Pompadom tasted salty and horrible, vegetable biryani was tasteless , when you spend £35 on a takeaway you expect to get a few nice dishes . Never again

Lived in Acton for 15+ years and am yet to have a better curry in this part of town. I usually get a takeaway though when I've eaten in the service was excellent. Standard dishes you'd get in most curry places but the quality seems better and the ingredients fresher. Most items on the menu are great and I've not been disappointed yet.

We went here as a work do and have been here many times before and will continue to go here. It is well worth the short trip from Ealing, Acton, Chiswick etc, parking is quite easy too. Food is of exceptional quality as is the service. Great value and good sized portions of very tasty food. Beer and house wine is good value and the nan bread and onion bhajis are the best I have had. All the dishes are good, a colleague has the lamb rogan josh every time and says it is the best around! I tend to change from lamb chos to chicken curry to a chicken shashlik, all excellent and highly recommended. Chick pea masala is a very nice veggie dish too.

We've been going here for many years and it never fails to deliver. It is bog standard curry house fare but the service is wonderful, smiling and friendly. Love the chicken shashlik in particular but plenty of other stuff on the menu is great.

Recommended to visit this restaurant and to be honest found it at best – to be very average. Along with the poppadums we ordered a portion of onion bhajis, circular in shape they looked far better than they tasted. They did not appear to taste as if they had just come out of the deep fryer – hot and fresh. I might be wrong but my partner said the same. Both the chicken and lamb shashliks were bland – somewhat tasteless – compared to other restaurants that serve similar food. The cauliflower bhaji was good, though the mixed vegetable curry was top heavy with potatoes – thought we had ordered the wrong dish. The naan bread was very good though. As there were leftovers we took them with us. On opening the remains of the mixed vegetable curry the amount of oil was very disproportionate to the dish…not at all healthy!!If I didn’t know better I would say the food was good, however this is not the case. The food was very average; the restaurant is small where the tables are very near to each other. You can overhear conversations quite easily. Would I visit again – I doubt it.

We have been going to Jubraj since last 30 years and it's still our no. 1 restaurant. The owner personally knows everyone. Food is excellent. We order vegetarian dishes and all of them are of excellent standard. Naan are the softest I have ever eaten. The service is excellent. Atmosphere is very relaxed.

We were one person who is very experienced with Indian food and one neophyte. We saw good reviews from Tripadvisor and needed a good walk to avoid falling asleep from jet lag.My impressions: gracious service. Small but attractive dining room with white linen and shining tableware. Layered flavors and subtle sauces. Moderate costs for wine, beer, appetizers and dinner. It was well worth the trip for these tourists.

The menu at Jubraj reads the same as many other Indian restaurants, but the quality of food is much higher than average. The dishes are made with care and they have distinct individual flavours. The lamb Madras was really nicely spiced with melting tender meat and great heat, and it was not too buttery or oily. Ive now switched to Jubraj as my local Indian, and am looking forward to going back!

We had a great evening here and this is well worth trying out if you like trying different Indian food dishes. The food was very good quality with good size portions. The service was very friendly without being pushy. Drinks are not expensive and we thought it was very good value. We will certainly try this place again.

Food was very bland, prob worst I've ever had in a restaurant..Maybe we got dishes that aren't always so spicy, but this literally tasted nothing. Home delivery was prompt and good though.

Lucky find on the way home - saw it stopped and it turned out to be pretty good! Best dish we had was Lamb and mint and it was great! Kids enjoyed it and staff were very friendly. If I were back in the area I would go back.

i am never happier than at this great restaurant. I have been a customer for more than 5 years and never been disappointed. A family run Bangladeshi/Indian affair with a reasonable atmosphere and great food served well.

On the rare occasion we had babysitters we decided to have a curry and went to the Jubraj as it's close to where we live. The menu contains the usual suspects but what it didn't show was that the starters came with a unique green sauce, not mint, I shall have to ask how it's made next time.Service was very friendly and efficient, nothing as too much and at the end of the meal we were offered a free drink each, which is always a nice touch.Next time we have babysitters I think the venue has already been decided!!!

If you want to duck in for a quick bite they will serve you fast. If you'd like to linger for hours they are happy for you to be there.

I've been coming here for over 20 years, so I am biased, It's not Indian haute cuisine, the paneer cheese doesn't crumble to the touch, and the wine list is limited. But the standard is consistently good, the choice is wide, and the service is excellent. Angur has been there as long as I have been going, and his mild manner belies his name. Young Salim is a joy, as are most of the staff. Draft Kingfisher to start, with plain and spicy popadoms, and mango chutney, lime pickle etcetera. I recommend the Aldu chicken as a main, the coriander flavour is wonderful. All their tandoori dishes are good too, as is their excellent taka dahl, thick enough to stand your spoon in. The breads are fresh, I love the chilli and garlic nan. My record is 5 nights on the trot when my wife was away....

my sister lives in acton w3. we live in stoke on trent and go down to visit about 3- 4 times a year . most recently 6/10/2013 for my sister's 40th anniversary. whered id we go , our usual the jubraj. guaranteed good food, good service with a smile, always a pleasure to eat there.

I've been to the Jubraj twice now and I can't fault it at all. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere relaxed and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall - EXCELLENT!

Great curry - never had a bad meal very attentive staff.Always a great atmosphere the house specials are the best - the Cobra could be a bit colder.

I returned to this place after an absence of almost three years. It is as good as ever (try the Mysore chilli prawns for entree). When I worked in the area three years ago, I could be seen dining here up to four nights a week.

I am not sure this restaurant is really as good as the other reviews suggest but we use it often when we want an option of Indian food at home and can't be bothered cooking. The Peshwari nan is excellent. I feel it helps if you ask the chef to keep the salt content low.

Happy days indeed! Another successful visit to the Jubraj restaurant with friends this week. The food hits the spot time and time again and the staff are simply wonderful. We tried a few new things this time, including the superb Chicken Karahi. Both tables either side of us were also filled with regulars, so we are far from the only repeat customers. What are the negative points? Well the place does not look like much from the outside and the inside is somewhat tired, so probably not suitable for a splash out formal occasion. But as a regular venue for superb food and service it comes tops. Another winning visit for us - you will not be disappointed if you try it.

Jubraj scores again When an Indian curry is as good as this, the problem is that other restaurants always fall short, however expensive and exclusive they pretend to be. This is hy we keep going crack, again and again.

My colleague and I had worked in Birmingham and experienced the Blue Mango which became the bench mark.Jubraj is excellent. The food is authentic and very very very tasty.I wish I could visit Jubraj every week but my job moves on. Anyone who has the chance to go there should go ther.Dont waste your time messing around trying to find somewhere in West London. Go to Jubraj and you will enjoy.
