New management customer service has always been good thos new management service has improved alot from the past food was at a reasonable price was a very good price.

I have been using Jol Sager for over 4 years and have never had a reason to complain. The food is absolutely stunning and in my opinion very well priced, also delivery is very quick. Keep up the good work and sorry I never left the review earlier.

Absolute joke of a service. Gave food to driver without checking confirmation. Our food got taken by the driver and restaurant refused to accept responsibility. Only ordered as it’s local. To be honest food is cheap low tier Indian. Rather put out extra money for a proper service.

Excellent food and excellent service

An amazing restaurant with a good presentation of the cuisines, well enough place to sit and eat, services provided by the restaurant is on top level, all staffs are friendly, chicken tikka was delicious, you can have a cup of or tea, there is place to sit outside as well, overall it’s 10 on 10 for me.

I ordered via Deliveroo. I was given the wrong items. I requested a redelivery of the correct order items but was refused. I was also refused a refund. I am very disappointed at this service. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again. At this point it’s nothing short of theft. The food they delivered was not touched I said they could have it back and I was treated appallingly.

This is the best indian food I have ever had. We have gotten Jol sagar many many times on Deliveroo and it never disappoints. We have tried many dishes and they are all so delicious, and even tastier the next day!

This is bad. I ordered on UberEast and thought this was legit Indian food. (I am not newcomers to Indian cuisine). What you branded under Indian food is actually Bangladesh food on UberEats. I have never eaten a pumpkin sweet (0 tomato) butter chicken in my life. The daal is sweet as well. I know Bangladesh food are super SWEET, but I didn't know your self-identification as Indian food. Please change it on the delivery platforms.

This is my first time writing a review over a food delivery, and unfortunately it isn't a positive one. I don't know if I was just unlucky but this was probably the worst Indian food I had in my life. The Badami chicken was overly too sweet, and I am someone you would consider a sweet tooth but this was too much I couldn't eat it after three bits. The coconut rice was just dry, the cheese Naan had basically no cheese whatsoever, the only decent dish I could actually eat was the Bengal style Lamb and honestly it was ok, nothing amazing about it but at least I could eat it. I ended up spending £30 and not being able to eat the majority of the food. Overall, the taste and quality were both very disappointing.

Went there with some mates a few weeks ago - outstanding Naga Chicken, and service over and above what could ever be expected. Reasonably priced especially for London!

We come here regularly with our little daughter. This is one of our favourite local restaurants. Very nice staff, always welcoming. My favourite is the Vegetarian Balti, try it, its really nice!

De tandoori mix grill was lekker. Het bijgestelde brood was zwart aan de zijkant en onderkant. Salade zat geen smaak aan.

This is by far the best Indian food locally. There has been a huge improvement and we have been back a few times now.

A great little gem of an Indian restaurant with wood decking outside. Their chicken dopiyaz is highly recommended with fresh nun bread.

Had the pleasure of dining here recently with a friend. Our chosen starters consisted of papadums, which were served with an assortment of delicious complimentary chutneys. The Chicken Korma, Lamb Bhuna, Chicken Tikka, Pilau Rice and Naans were all cooked beautifully and full of flavour. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff were extremely polite and friendly. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning. Highly recommend 👌

Have been going to this restaurant for a while now and getting take away meals delivered. However, I am sorry to say that this restaurant has gone down in my estimation. Had a take away a couple of weeks ago and it was delivered by a bicycle which seems to be the cheapest way for restaurants to operate these days. The sauces from the curry and other items had spilled (not for the first time) all over the inside of the bag which meant I had a cleaning job to do before even eating our meal. I did complain but got no satisfaction from one of the owners. I said I would not be ordering take away meals again if this is how they delivered food. Again no apology was given. Went there to eat in on Sunday and found the meals are very oily, and the taste is not as described on the menu. In the past I have ordered Madras, Jalfrezi and even another hot dish and they all tasted the same, like an ordinary chicken curry with no real flavour. I think they need to up their game if they want to stay in business and also change their chef.

This takeaway is the best Bangladeshi food in London! I had a chicken korma, rice and naan; everything was super fresh, tasty and delicious. All for an amazing price. Couldn’t recommend any more if you love a sweet chicken korma :)

This is my 1st time giving a restaurant a one 🌟 rating. The gravy/oil spilled into the bag as the overall packaging was clumsy. The dishes was swimming in oil and was more than the main meal, and no distinctive taste at all. For the amount paid and times are hard we felt compelled to eat it as it would be a shame to waste food but it was one of the disappointing takeaways meals I have ever ordered and never again.

I ordered via uber eats. I ordered 7 curries and once the order arrived i was very suprised to see the containers less than half empty. I called and spoke with the manager who was rude and put the phone down on me. Because of my experience I was not able to enjoy the food. Absulutely disgusting service which I have never experienced before. I wasn't expecting anything just an apology at least! I don't usually leave reviews but I'm very appalled at the service. Will not be ordering from JOLSAGOR again.

Terrible service. Burnt naan. As a Bengali myself I found it disgraceful how staff think it's acceptable to trick white people into thinking that burning naan charcoal black is just something we do in our culture. Don't go here unless you want to be served whoopsies which should have been thrown in the bin.

Best Indian this side of Newham. Good size of chicken pieces, perfectly spiced and seriously tasty. Generous with the curry ingredients. Keep the chef. My new go to place

Restaurant was a bit small but the great food and friendly,helpful staff made the whole experience one I would definitely repeat. Me and my family had a wonderful evening here. Nothing was too much for the staff. They catered to our every need.

Overall nice food, great flavours and fast delivery - on numerous occasions however, the chicken is tough or pre-cooked. For the prices you pay, you'd expect freshly cooked produce.

Went in for dinner today, food was fine, just the restaurant was a bit cold, wasn’t too happy with the staff member pacing back and fourth up and down the restaurant, extremely loud noise of some sort coming out the kitchen( sounded like a industrial whisk) for a few minutes... another member of staff I believe as he want eating sitting in a table having a load telephone conversation. Don’t think I’ll be coming back again!, would be nice to have some background music whilst you eat!

Portion sizes have definitely got smaller! When called to ask if it’s available for dine in, I was informed it’s possible and that they Also have 50% off. Once i ate I went to pay they gave me full price, then came through with some bs that it’s for pick up only which doesn’t make sense at all! I wouldn’t have cared if no one told me there was a discount but it just seemed like a scam to draw more people in. Then because they’ve probably not had a good day charge their customers full price. I used to love this restaurant but this experience has put me off ever coming back again!

Moreover, their Lamb bhuna was very nice bit mild as we expected so in advance we asked them to add a kick of spice that was spot on. I loved their Pilao and chapattis too that was soft and fluffy. I definitely will be visiting again. One advice though a baby sear would be ideal and child friendly but nonetheless we enjoyed the experience.

Now under new management with top chefs everything out off the tandoori oven is cooked well and marinated to perfection. I have eaten inside the restaurant and had a delivery the taste is just the same. I had a chicken madras when i ate in and a lamb madras witch i had delivered so soft the meat was. Everyone local please give it a go you will not be disappointed. Its been decorated and modernised which it needed. And the owner is as good as gold. As the potential to be a top Indian restaurant that it once was 15 years ago.

They are better now. The Lassi is very original and the biryani was very good as Germans Hausmannskost, as they are doing it by Indian moms

So I am about the write the review but I thought I would read some of the comments to see what others think of the place. Not sure what to say to be honest Anyways came for the first time and greeted nicely. After some research found out that the owner has had this restaurant for over 35 years. It has had a good following by some celebrities such as Danny Dyer and the gentleman who was in the long time TV shows such as minder,professionals and stars from Eastenders have been here too. Order the food. Came right on time started with the chicken tikka. Very moist and succulent. The poppadoms were made extra crispy by flaming it on top of the gas to give extra texture. The mains were worth the wait too. Shame I couldnt take the pictures to add here. The slight negative is the decor which looks somewhat outdated. However the better positive is outdoor seating area especially in this weather.

It is the worst place. please do not go. No respect to customers. They bill price which was not in the menu price list. When asked for clarification, they used inappropriate words. There are lot of unwritten rules. Food is not prepared like Indian cuisine. They discriminate with perceived assumption about people's nationalities. Not even deserve single star. I fully agree with all the adverse comments expressed in the reviews and we also experienced the same. This is my point of view based on our experience.

Not a very pleasant experience. We were looking for a vegetarian place for our parents and had to walk a bit to reach here. Once we ordered drinks and food for our parents we were told a minimum of 10 pounds per person is what they would charge for the main dish which was of course not mentioned anywhere else. I am not sure if they were even accounting for the drinks we ordered. We decided to rather get things packed and take away. I have eaten at a lot of restaurants serving Western, Turkish, Italian and Greek food. At none of the places it was put as a condition. Anyway when it comes to taste, it wasn’t great as well. I also realised the restaurant specialises in Bangladeshi cuisine rather than Indian cuisine.

Worst fake name restaurant. It’s not at all indian restaurant. They are serving on the name of india. They don’t take card payment. Also what they have mentioned on board that they are available from noon 12 to night 12. They ain’t.

Very homely and friendly atmosphere. The menu is comprehensive. The food quality is great. Prices also very reasonable. The service is great and the staff really appreciate their customers, recognising the regulars.

Standard. Ordered Madras was not Spicy as I requested. Had Chana Masala side worst I'd tasted. Didn't feel stuffed like I normally would eating a curry. Service good people say it's cosy probably because it is small and caters for its regulars. Was more interested in the food but sorry to say had better.

This place is so bad that i have to write a review. 15 minutes after i ordered for delivery they call and say they have a policy of not delivering to your doorstep so you have to come down to your main entrance to collect, fine what ever - 15 minutes after stated delivery time i call them, guy says will be"any minute" now , 15 mins go by and still no food call again, no answer, tried to call them another 10 times all no answer. then line just goes straight to busy. Ridiculous service and super rude. never again

This is the worst place I have ever been to in UK.firstly when we ordered starters the staff said that we have to order a minimum number of dishes to sit there and eat !! Weird then we ordered lemonade which tasted disgusting and had a plastic thing in it.even then when we were eating our papadum with dips the same guy came and said that don't eat it using tray as they reuse it really?? They bloody reuse the dips from one table to another which is unacceptable !! First of all they can't tell their customer how to eat and reusing the dips is not acceptable at all when we called the manager who claims that he is !! He did nothing about it even the waitor behaved as if he is the owner of the bloody place.This was not enough for the guy as he passes a racist remark saying where are you from and stuff like that.The food here is disgusting and staff is extremely rude.I will never think about this place again and never recommend anyone to go their!! Worst experience ever.

This place should be shut. We ordered a delivery and it was the worst experience ever! They didn't even deliver the food and the delivery person was so rude to us and said we can't even get our money back. Absurd. Please stay away from this place. They don't care about customers at all. London is a big place with lots of restaurants that can deliver food and provide nice customer service but this place is definitely not one of them.
