Priya in Newham

On 17th June i visited this restaurant with my thre friends for dinner, we ordered 2 egg fried rice, 2 portion of chicken fry, & 1 chicken sizzling divill. After 2 hrs of returning home, all we got sick with diarrhea & it was lasting for days, even could not attend our jobs next due to severe stomach problems. Probably, Hygiene label is very poor for quality of food

It's a srilankan restaurant with all south indian dishes. Good service and good options for non veg.

The devilled sizzling was my favourite. I ordered squid sizzling but it was chewy and rubbery. It wasn't nice at all! The set meal that my cousin had was same flavour for chicken and lamb. The aubergine curry wasn't nice either. The customer service was great but it's the food quality has dropped so much! They need to change their chef!

We decided to select this place to eat by chance! The resturant we had initially wanted to go to turner our be a “cafe” so as we walked on the high road we can across this place. They have selection of indo Chinese, Indian and Sri Lankan food. Everything we ordered was very nice, there were 6 of us, with soft drinks, lassies and food the bill came to approx £96.00 a bit on a dearer side for a curry house but it was worth every penny. The staff were nice and attentive. We will definitely be visiting them again.

Found all the dishes very tasty, particularly the house special devilled sizzling and good value. Service was super fast. Will be back again!

Being a Sri Lankan I was recently craving some home food. There are a couple of big name restaurants in central London, namely hoppers which offer decent food at extortionate prices, where you pay for the experience and decor. Priya is clean, staff are friendly, menu is reasonable but most importantly the food is outstanding. This is my go to now and recommend to anyone who wants great Sri Lanka food

If you want Srilankan food, it is the right place to get it. Good and nice service. Bar available. Hygineic.

ordered a chicken briyani and omlette...they had served very old briyani which was bland..tasteless and the chicken wasnt cooked in the briyani..but was fryed seperately and then added to this so called briyani...omlettee was bad as well..pls try bawrchi andra cusine ro the anjapppar next to it..s dont go. i had travelled from waterloo in vain

My frens had been here before,but for myself-off course was, off the beaten track,,,located closeby the Westham station, the restaurant was spacious with some traditional Asian decor. Food was quite yummy and exceed the level of expectation. It was well cooked with Asian notch, nicely garnished and meticulously presented. Personally,I enjoyed crab soup , chicken kawab and crab sizzler🦀. As a point of suggestion, it need to better the interior vibes and customer care. I believe the restaurants can be recommended to people from non-asian back:ground aswell.

Really very tasty food. Proper Jaffna style tamil food. We loved the seafood kothu and Mutton Kothu. Nice and Spicy.

I ordered via just eat. The devilled sizzling was great this time but I ordered king prawn not lamb. The butter chicken was gorgeous and everything was lovely. The mutton curry with meals was lovely. All the curries too. I ordered in a Friday evening. So the chef was great. Last time I visited on a Sunday and was really disappointed. This time was brilliant. Loved it all!!! Peshwari man was a different texture but the filling was nice, make sure u eat it hot. Great Friday evening chef.

We went with friends and they enjoyed the biriyani. Parota. The seafood Kothurotti was ok but we didn't see much other than squid. The mutton devilled sizzling was very dry n tough. The fish cutlet tasted really fishy. When we make it at home we usually use tuna. I'm not sure what they used. I was disappointed but then I'm use Sri Lankan and South Indian. My friends are not. They need to work on keeping good tasting consistent. Usually they do the best devilled sizzling I've ever had. They must have changed the chef. I would try again to see if this was a one off. Hopefully it's better next time.

To ur delight we found this SriLnakan/ Indial restaurant, just opposite the Estham tube station. Our firt visit Waiter who took our orders were very friendly and helpful The bottle of Chardonay/ Australian some how did not taste like one Had Rasam and fired baits for starters- a large portion of baits enough for four people. Bothe were very nice I had egg paraotha, and my wife ordered kothu pittu, which was not available, but were given kotthu string hoppers with brinjal curry. They were very good indeed I will go there again next time Iwe visit Eastham

have to say one of the finest restaurant in east ham. the waiter recommended chicken devil sizzling, first time heard devilled as a starter, very tender and juicy. the price was ok. had a great good food.

This place is the pits. Went there last Saturday night as our usual choice taste of India was full. Never again. Walked in and their was a general run down air- cracked tiles, faded paint.
