Jieli Hotpot in Reading

同僚の企画で初訪問。テーブルへのサービスは気が利かない感じでした。鍋の味は普通でした。サイドで取った水餃子2種類は美味しかったです。個人的な再訪は無いでしょう。

Qué hallazgo. Fui con mis dos hijos de 12 y 8 años, los cuales son realmente aventureros con la comida. Nos recibió una señora muy educada e informativa. La comida era una mezcla de comidas listas para comer y otras que se podían cocinar en una sartén profunda hundida en la mesa del comedor. Los sabores eran excelentes, tan sabrosos. Volveremos cuando estemos en Reading, y a menudo. No puedo esperar a volver a visitar. Muchas gracias por una comida tan memorable.

We really enjoyed our lunch, starters, main and dessert too. Had no time for hotpot, so we chose from the lunch menu. Food came out fast and hot. The waitress was kind, helpful to explain. Liked the oriental music in the background. Beautiful decorations on the windows and inside too.

Relatively new place in Reading and what an addition. The Hotpot concept is an enjoyable way to eat food; bowls of hot broth used to cook ingredients at the table. Choice of broth and items to add are good, includes lots of options for vegetarians. Portions of each item is large, so do not over-order. This will be difficult as one tends to get carried away as you are having such a good time. I had the mushroom broth, being vegetarian, and various tofus with the mixed vegetable platter. Staff are all so helpful and the manager is a delight. Support this restaurant. We need more of these family run places.
