The best cooked breakfast in Southsea by far. I’ve been coming here for years with family not enough people know about this place! Quality ingredients everything on the plate is always perfect and the mushrooms are beautiful and cooked in a soy sauce👌Just the attention to detail. Great decor, really chilled vibe and the staff are always so friendly. Can’t rate it enough!

Everything is perfect. Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely interior. Can't expect anything better. A secret little gem of a place in Southsea that has a personal touch and heritage from Colombia.

For my money, Jessie's has the best food and drinks on Albert Road, paired well with its bright, vibrant atmosphere, and warm and friendly staff. It's also very fairly priced, and features daily specials that are total bargain! Looking forward to visiting during an evening service so I can try out one of their cocktails!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Came in looked at the menu and couldn’t find something to eat. But don’t expect to be followed out and questioned as to why we left. Very unfortunate and very unprofessional and unpleasant. Was huge fan of Jessie for a long time won’t be returning as don’t expect to be confronted

Just off a cruise ship in Portsmouth and looking for somewhere for breakfast. Found Jessie's by accident and so glad we did. Fantastic Veggie/Vegan options with Mrs H having Eggs Florentine and me the Vegan breakfast and proper cappuccino and latte with the right sort of kick. More importantly clearly popular with the locals as almost full within 30 minutes of our arrival. And really lovely service. Definitely a place to revisit

I don’t usually leave reviews but this place compelled me too. I didn’t know what to expect when my sister said we were going here to brunch. My word, genuinely one of the best meals I’ve had in a long while. The wrap in particular was actually nicer than what I had in Latin America. The food is so authentic, I can’t confirm but I was told by my sister the chef/owner herself is from Latin America and that comes across in the food. Between 3 of us we ordered; Arepa Quindio, 2 x Mexican wraps and a salmon and cream cheese bagel. There was a little wait, as it’s all cooked from fresh, so we enjoyed a flapjack thing from the bar first which was delicious. The Mexican wraps were just everything you’d want them to be, so full of flavour, hot, and a good portion. The guacamole was clearly homemade too, it was so fresh. The salmon and cream cheese bagel was lovely, it is hard to go wrong with that anyway, but it was a generous portion, so much fish and cream cheese! The bagel was fresh out the oven so it was served warm, the smell of freshly cooked dough was a bit intoxicating! The Arepa Quindio left us a little lost for words, I had no idea what to expect with this but the flavours packed into this are astounding, it’s also a huge portion so for £11.50 it was a bargain. We were there prior to the official lunch opening time, however they were happy to accommodate our choices - they let us know up front that due to the cooking requirements of the Arepa it would take a little longer, which we were happy about and grateful to be prepared for a slightly longer wait. We all had orange juice, and they pressed it behind the bar into the glass, can’t get fresher than that. The vibe of the place is very Latin, it’s not trying to hard or over done, it’s comfy, bright and welcoming. A bonus was we were able to bring our dog! He was welcomed with open arms and was immediately given water and fuss. The ladies bathroom has riddles on the wall, it seemed like an insignificant factor however it kept us chatting for a long while trying to figure some of them out, a nice touch and a different theme for a bathroom. The staff were friendly, always smiling and efficient. I cannot wait to go here again, I was raving about it to my Latin friend saying how good of a time we were having and next thing you know she turned up with her partner! She apparently saw my pictures and the menu, woke her partner up from his nap and dragged him from the house. When I messaged her later to see how she found it, considering she grew up in Latin America eating all the food there, her reaction was “OH, MY, GOD?! I am so impressed and so happy you introduced us to this place. I had the Arepa and he had the El Cubano, it was delicious and the best we’ve had since being over here”. We were ordering non alcoholic drinks due to driving, but they have a well stocked bar available, I can’t wait to go back there for a real fiesta in the future. Run, don’t walk, this place is a hidden gem. I’m going to drag everyone I know and their mum to come with me.

I had a casuela plaisa and my missus had the arepa quindio. Both were filling and not at all spicy but full of flavour. It took a while to make and was a bit on the pricy side of a cafe but for sure it was worth every penny and every minute. Winner

A wonderfully cultural place that serves the best burritos! Admittedly they're all I've tried for now, but great food and lovely staff. Hope Jessie's comes out thriving by the end of the Pandemic! :)

Kelly and Callum were our hosts. We came in on a Monday for my birthday and they were so accommodating and kind. Every need we wanted was met and I even was given a birthday Caipirinha Board which was a lovely surprise. Thank you so much guys you really made my day that little bit better😁

The restaurant is amazing! We went on a Friday for lunch, we did a reservation but at least when we went it was quiet. Marisa served throughout and she’s great, very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, we forgot to take a picture of the starter but the mussels are definitely worth it! The cocktails are made with real fruit which was spectacular! Definitely recommend the place!

Wonderful freshly cooked food and served with a smile. Very accommodating for my vegan friend and spotlessly clean. Food is delicious and full of flavour and worth a little wait whilst they cook it. The Venezuelan shandy was super refreshing as were the juices.
