Decent range of craft beers on tap

Great selection of beers and friendly staff. Anyone I've ever taken has loved it!

Good food, reasonably priced, and nice gin selection. Couple of loud drunk locals on the Monday night, but I think that’s part of the charm. Really good Mac and cheese!

The food is incredibly inconsistent. One week the mac n' cheese was lovely and cheesy, with toasted bread on the side. One week later it was dry with almost no cheese at all, the bread was burned on one side and completely untoasted on the other. Bleh. I also had one week in which the haloumi fries were thick, but unseasoned, at least there was a sweet chili sauce on the side. A week later they were thin like crisps, spicy, but no sauce was served. A friend got them a week after that and they came with a side salad that we never requested. The food could be great, mediocre or terrible, you just never know

Our food took a very long time to come. Once it did, my husband’s chicken burger was raw inside. They replaced it, but didn’t offer anything for having late, raw food, hardly even an apology. The bar staff was friendly, but I would definitely not go back.

We spontaneously had a beer here on our last evening. The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were in a great mood. Would definitely come back.

Easy going pub, never had the chance to try the food but the menu has some stuff I would try when I go back again. Great atmosphere and friendly bar staff.

We stopped in here for a beer and some food on our way back to the hotel. In addition to delicious beer, we ordered Mac & Cheese, among other things. And what can I write for a long time: it was the best Mac & Cheese ever!!! In a really cool atmosphere, too. It was a perfect end to a great day in Edinburgh. Will definitely stop by here again on our way back before we fly back. This time we both order a large portion of Mac & Cheese ;-))

It says “child-friendly” outside, but you can only take children with you if you have a fixed table. The staff also doesn't react very emphatically. It's a shame, it actually looked nice.

If you want to try a Scottish pub this is the right place. For eating and drinking it does not disappoint. Advised

Came in for a pint on my way into town with a couple friends and had extremely bad service. My friend got an aperol and we watched as the bar manager didn't pour proper measures, as we all work in the industry we have a level of understanding. She went back to complain as the drink didn't taste the same as another one on the table. The bar manager then proceeded to shout across the bar at my friend. She is a girl in her early 20s and this man was easily 40. He said "we are not in Italy" which clearly we arent. It was completely inappropriate and I will not be returning.

We could test various types of beer and therefore had the choice. Thanks and cheers.

Honest pub, nice food and ample choice of beers.

Made a pitstop for a quick pint.. they have about 10 taps - nothing super impressive but not too bad either.. did not have any food.

A barman took exception to the fact I had taken my sandals off. "Shoes back on please. There are people eating in here." My feet were under the table in a quiet part of the bar. They don't smell, were not dirty and were not horribly deformed. As for the beers: not the full craft range, so no DIPAs, imperials, TIPAs and Belgians. In other words - lacklustre.

A pub where the local knitting club meets is actually recommendation enough. If that's not enough for you: great selection of food (including vegetarian/vegan), excellent beer selection and nice staff.

Well ... whatever you do, don't ask the fella there for a Mocha! He looked down his nose at me and my non alcoholic choice at lunchtime (as I had to drive). They don't do Mocha he says. I ask for a Latte and get served the most disdainful cup of coffee I've ever had ... I mean get over yourself pal! It's Edinburgh your in, not Coatbridge! I'm pretty sure ordering coffee in Edinburgh is a very popular past time for locals and visitors! 12 fries for about £5 as well. Stingy side serving.

My wife and I ate here for a quick lunch and found the food to be underwhelming. The location was great and the service was decent. I had the burger and it tasted like it was previously frozen. My wife had the Mac and cheese and loved it. Good for a quick and simple lunch.

Dirty pint glass and expensive but maybe that's acceptable here .

Popped in here one evening, some great craft beers on tap, and a nice atmosphere.

Popped in for a post work drink. Wont be back. Pint [Stewarts Edinburgh Gold on keg] took an age to pour and had a comedy head on it. Even presenting the card machine took the staff a lifetime which at least provided enough time to show why a top up request was justified. Pint was sour and rancid so sent it back. Bar staff maintained it was fine so I just left. I know what Edinburgh Gold tastes like - its a fine beer but it had been massacred here. Lots of great bars in Edinburgh so no great loss.

This pub has so much potential with a great selection of beers and a nice atmosphere it really does seem like a great place to spend afternoon with some friends and family. However, the staff are nothing short of horrendous. We came here on a busy saturday afternoon, it started off with a great pint and then people kept piling into the pub with staff having absolutely no control over capacity. As it got busier the blonde male bartender proceeded to barge past my friends and I. After a fair few times of rudely barging past we politely asked if it would be possible for him to refrain from physically shoving past us. Without even an apology for pushing us out of the way. The solution of the staff on shift was to grab the full drinks out of our hands and ask us to leave the pub. As a paying customer I was absolutely shocked to be treated this way, when the root cause of this problem was not my friends and I but the fact the staff allowed far to many people into the pub and were unable to handle the footfall. My advice to anyone thinking of visiting here is go to one of the other lovely pubs on the street and spend your money there.

Unfortunately this review is an ABSOLUTE AVOID. This pub is a cosy pub with great beers on tap but is sadly has repulsive staff working on shift. It’s so disappointing for a lovely venue to have such dismissive staff working in it. Upon a busy rugby day and the staff being busy we came into the pub for a light drink. They let far too many people in and took this out on our group of friends with servers shoving past with food and after one of our group asking if they could stop aggressively barging by, the manager on duty approached us and stated we were not the type of customers they would host and insisted we leave immediately the drinks we had were grabbed out our hand and no apology given.

Absolute top pub. Love it here, great place fire a quick pint or several slower ones.

Had lunch here with a friend place was quiet, so ideal for chatting. We both had the mac n cheese, which was good. Could've done with a bit garlic bread on the side!

If you want to try excellent local beer, it's the right place. Super chill and friendly atmosphere, variety, the guys at the bar are very attentive and give recommendations. Good music, fair prices and easy access to public transportation. My favorite place in Leith!

Was in on Friday with my daughter ,Jeremiah's is a brilliant pub ,great atmosphere with brilliant staff ,the food was amazing and will certainly be back again soon

A nice central spot with a great selection of beers and friendly staff. I tried a few different IPAs. The food was good, I had a nice fish and chips, though my friend’s steak was a bit disappointing.

Table of seven of us. Went up to bar to order food, staff only willing to take order for two plates only as the kitchen was too busy. They told me I would have to wait half an hour before ordering so told them NOT A CHANCE MATE. Avoid this place if you are hungry. Bad Bad service and foolish bar staff.

Full disclosure - this is our local. It’s a great pub, and genuinely the fish and chips is the best I’ve had. Highly recommend.

Pub un peu excentré du centre, très peu de touristes, essentiellement des locaux. Endroit très sympa, qui propose de bonnes bières et de très bons cocktails et sert à manger tard. Vrai coup de cœur pour leur mac&cheese ! Serveurs très accueillants !

One of my favourite Edinburgh pubs! They have a great range of drinks, some of which change on a regular basis which have led me to discovering some new favourites! I've always been impressed with their food menu, especially the different burgers. The staff are extremely friendly and I've had a very pleasant experience on every visit. Perfect place to visit as a group or even for a quick pint on your own. Dog friendly, too, which is an added bonus!

I loved this place - so much so I came in the next day - and when there r soooo many pubs to choose from that's proper respect to the staff for making me as a travelling independent woman (not wanting to claim middle-aged,but I prob am) feel so comfortable. Thank u muchly! I didnae eat, as I wasnae hungry, so cannae comment on food.... Hence me not eating it... N therefore not rating it, but if it's half as good as everything else about this place, it'll be great!

Urig, ungezwungen und mit einer Bedienung die einem bei Fragen nach lokalen Getränken sehr behilflich ist. Gute Auswahl an Getränken, insbesondere regionalen und überregionalen schottischen Bieren und Whiskeys.

Stopped in for a couple of beers and some food mid-day during our stay in town. Roomy place with a decent selection of craft beer. Staff were quite friendly and our food order of nachos and calamari arrived quite quickly. Unfortunately the cheese sauce on the nachos wasn't to our taste and the calamari was unlike any we've ever had. Would order something else food-wise next time or perhaps just stick to the beer. Overall a nice spot.

Bar is nice, wine is delicious and not expensive, but chicken wings could be way better.

Absolutely lovely pub! Stopped off for a pint and food. Had a great selection of beers and we had the Haggis fritters (our first try of Haggis) which were so yummy and the Tabbouleh salad was delicious definitely recommend trying it!

A great spot for a midnight beer.

This is a hidden gem near the top of Leith Walk and not far from the Playhouse. Was here for lunch. There's a great selection of beers and a small menu of typical pub grub and several "Margarita Month" cocktails. The decor is dark and cozy and features various artworks and historic posters relating to concerts and plays in Edinburgh. There's also an interactive jukebox. Staff are super friendly and service was great 😃 Would recommend a visit.

Un endroit très charmant, avec des vitraux et une ambiance chaleureuse, même si ce n'était pas très animé quand on est venus. Il y a de très bonnes bières locales, et la cuisine est bonne : j'ai goûté un fish and chips végétalien à la fleur de bananier étonnamment délicieux. J'ai envie d'y retourner ce soir, mais j'habite en France, alors je vous salue de loin, merci !

Just so you all know This place was epic good. And the service was so quick and people working are extremely Polite , the lady live and the guy Tor something , I'm forgetting the name was amazing and they were so patience with me as I wasn't able to decide what to order for drinks. I literally loved the venue and hoping to revisit them ASAP❤️

My first time at Jeremiah's Taproom having had good reports of it. Great range of beers and the food was fine too. Staff very helpful and friendly. (Like many pubs and restaurants they allowed 5 guys to sit at one table with no social distancing.)

Comí aquí la noche antes de irnos a casa. El personal es muy alegre y servicial con mi extraña solicitud de comida, sin pan en hamburguesa, sin papas fritas pero con macarrones con queso. Realmente disfruté de la comida y sin duda volvería a visitar. Todas las medidas de seguridad de Covid están bien implementadas y cumplidas.

3er quemaduras la cenan y cada una de ellas es tan buena como se prueba el whisky y habla Cullen skink haggis y cranachan si eso es lo que quieres y puedes decir que es todo delicioso u otras opciones disponibles la han comido con quemaduras por la noche y pueden responder por el menú estilo hamburguesa y otras opciones no serán decepcionadas

A few colleagues and I went in for a few drinks after work. The decor is very nice and bar staff are very polite. The pub is generally well kept and clean. Would recommend.

Just say here after jumping off bus before cinema. Massive selection of crafty beers and ales (as well as the normal Tennants, moretti) super friendly staff, really good music. Very chilled cool place. Some booths, some more private seating, window seats and high tables for 4/6. Big round bar and nothing not to like really. Oh and you can vape. Not huge sub ohms but anything normal go for it.

Solo los que estaban en el lugar y después de 20 minutos viendo a los dos empleados hablando, tuvimos que ir y preguntar si podíamos hacer un pedido. Primer pedido vegetariano, "nos hemos quedado sin eso", ok, iré por el segundo pedido vegetariano "oh, tampoco tenemos eso". Esperamos años en la comida, faltaban cosas, los lados eran una estafa como literalmente 5 papas fritas en un tazón. Cabello humano largo en el botón de salsa de tomate. Pidió la factura, nunca llegó, así que tuve que subir al bar para pagar. No estoy impresionado en absoluto, me temo

Modernes Pub mit leicht modernerer Küche als sonst. Man sollte sich aber auch nicht täuschen lassen. Die große Bierauswahl enthält auch viele Fabrik Biere. Leute, die das große T gerne trinken, kommen auch auf Ihre Kosten. Das Personal ist sehr am Kunden. Nimmt sich Zeit und ist kompetent. Handgemachte Biere wechseln häufig. Wir waren vor 3 Jahren schon mal hier und da war es gemütlicher. Aber das ist natürlich, wie so Vieles Geschmacksache. Hingehen! Selber urteilen!

We were meeting family here before heading to a show and as we hadn't had any dinner we decided to just eat here. Menu was excellent and we decided to go for the 'Tuesday' special of 2 for 1 on their hot-dogs and we were both very impressed with what we got. Proper sausages (not the cheap horrible hot dog sausages), lovely spicy coleslaw and a decent portion of chip, all for £8.95 for both!!! The bar has an excellent range of draft beers and spirits while the decor is all very nice. Staff were all very friendly and we will definitely be back.

9 members of my family met before a show at the Playhouse Theatre a few meters up the road. We ordered drinks and food and everything was great. The WiFi was good, staff were excellent and the atmosphere was great. We all enjoyed our food, however I ordered pulled pork tacos thinking they would be the crispy but they were more of a wrap but that was my only observation. Thanks you for a lovely evening.

Como cliente habitual durante muchos años, estoy muy decepcionado de que en las últimas 3 semanas se haya quedado sin Tennants Lager dos veces. La semana pasada no hubo brandy en el bar y Duechars parece ser un éxito o una falta, ya sea que esté encendido. Usted tiene una gran barra, así que creo que su control de existencias debe elevarse también al mismo nivel.

El peor café con leche de todos los tiempos. La forma en que el niño que lo hizo tuvo la audacia de servirlo, mendigó. Mientras estoy en ello, vamos a obtener algunos otros problemas de la caja fuerte. We were here a few times over a week. Friendly, efficient bar staff and one of the few places to get a Porter in Edinburgh. They have at least 5-6 craft beers on tap.

Your everyday pub. Decent food. Nice staff. The games & cards were handy way to pass time. Not exceptional but decent.

Vine aquí en un acuerdo de Itison para el brunch y un cóctel. El lugar estaba bastante vacío, así que el servicio era bueno. Mi tostada francesa era deliciosa pero no habría valido la pena el precio completo. Los baños de mujeres son bastante terribles, espero que la cocina sea mejor. Volvería sólo para bebidas.

Un bonito y pequeño pub con una buena selección de bocadillos, un personal servicial, ¡pero los baños de mujeres eran espantosos! Dos baños solo uno en uso. El otro sin puerta rota de azulejos por todo el piso. Seguramente este es un tema de salud y seguridad. ¡Qué decepción!

Paré aquí unas cuantas veces por las bebidas. Buen ambiente de pub relajante, y siempre estaba ocupado y animado. El personal muy amable y un buen servicio. Creo que hay un pequeño comedor en la parte de atrás. Ubicado en Elm Row, al sur de la rotonda de London Road. Definitivamente voy a visitar de nuevo.

Sista dagen i Edinburgh finner vi detta mysiga ställe. Utmärk utbud av öl och goda burgare. Mycket vänlig personal och lugnt och skönt.
