I ordered a takeaway as I was swamped with work and no time to cook. Until I went on Google I’d forgotten about this little gem. Years ago I would often buy a takeaway from here or eat in. I ordered shashlick, pilau rice, Nepalese Murgh Massala, popidum and peshwari Nan. I remembered their gorgeous nan as soon as I got them out, amazing! The food was to die for! I can’t recommend this place enough!

Ive been a regular customer of jenas for quite some time and always had good food but unfortunately after waiting for two hours for delivery and that same night and all the next day being sick and having stomach cramps I and upset stomach I will not be ordering from there again I understand that these things can happen sometimes but what is not acceptable is when I phoned up a couple of days later to explain what had happened I was told that I should order from somewhere else then ,as I explained I wasn’t looking for any compensation but thought I should let them know but there response was diabolical.

My son and I have just devoured a takeaway from here which was by far the best curry we have ever had! We've lived in Hampton 2 years and we wish we found this place sooner! The food was absolutely outstanding and you could tell it had been cooked individually and not just from a generic curry sauce, The delivery driver was also lovely too! Everything was also piping hot and all wrapped with care. We will definitely be ordering again and will also now visit their restaurant too!

I order from here frequently, food is always amazing and the delivery drivers are awesome too. Will not order my curries anywhere else!!!

Very average food with poor customer service but I use as they deliver to my address. Recently took payment for a delivery they then decided they were too busy to make the delivery and cancelled. I was refused a refund and told to collect. Now £30 down with no dinner and unable to collect. Terrible.

Accepted order for delivery and took payment through just eat - after 20 minutes decide it’s too far to deliver but need to wait for refund!! Surely they should check a postcode before taking payment. Shocking service

I used to be a regular at Jenas but circumstances stopped us using them. However, I visited Jenas with a friend last week and was very pleasantly surprised that the quality hadn't changed and the same faces were there and remembered me.Being a midweek visit it was very quiet. We were the only diners there. This didn''t stop us enjoying a lovely meal. I'm glad we made the choice and will be back again.

We went to Jena's having been once several years ago and wish we hadn't bothered. We booked an early dinner expecting it to get busy as it had done in the past. We were asked drinks we wanted and I was immediately told they had no sparkling water so I asked for a still water instead, which was served warm with no offer of ice. We ordered our starters and main course and after about 20 minutes one of the chefs came out and asked my husband if he had ordered the Chicken Tandoori as a starter or main. We pointed out it had been ordered from the starter menu and were told he was very sorry but he thought it was his main and had not cooked it as his starter. We did not stay and left with no plans to return. Very sad considering how good it used to be.

The best curry in Peterborough!

First time used this takeaway/delivery. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection. The dishes though all looked the same, they were very tomatoey that’s the only way I can explain it and looked like they had possible been from a jar. That aside the spicing and taste was not bad.

I do not, on principle, trust Indian restaurants that don't give you the option to adjust the spice level of their dishes. Ones that do are surprisingly difficult to come by in this area, so finding one that actually allowed me to chose how spicy I wanted my Butter Chicken to be on Just Eat was a pleasant surprise.The food arrived approximately 15 minutes early, was clearly freshly cooked and made with good-quality ingredients. If I was asked to find fault with anything, I'd say maybe the Onion Bhajis were a bit very oily, but that didn't stop them from being really, really tasty.

Ordered food through just eat and turned up over 25mins late but they marked it delivered on time and box was cold. Had been out for delivery for over 30mins, when I refused the food and asked for a refund I was told to f-off and get it from just eat, but they refused to authorise the refund with just eat so have basically stolen my money. Despicable service, and despicable attitude.

Never disappointed when we order food from here.. a well deserved 5*****. The only place in Peterborough I would eat a curry every time...

Best Chicken Dhansak I've ever had! Good value for money. Will definitely use again. Fast delivery, only downside was the my food was slightly cold by the time it arrived. Quick zap in the microwave soon put that right.

Having ate at a few indian restaurants ,i thought i would try jennas, it was the worst mistake ever ,the place was cold and had to sit there freezing , the food was bland and tasted like it was from a jar but worse , i asked for money off the bill for how cold it was ,to be just told the heating is on , atmosphere was not friendly and i wont be returning here ever again , number one indian in peterborough is bombay brasserie .

by far the best takeaway curry we have ordered....and we've tried quite a few. They might be a bit more expensive than others by what you get is amazing. Will definitely be ordering again.

On arrival we girls were greeted and seated near open window of kitchen! This is an open restaurant! It felt like we were being watched all the time very disturbing ! We ordered our meal and were happy with non alcoholic drinks! The food arrived very late and it was like slop! All of our group were the same ! We were unable to eat it ! The restaurant was dirty and the toilets were also! Very surprised that the business hasn't been closed down due to poor hygiene ! Would recommend that health and safety pay them a visit !

Very surprised to see the recent negative reviews. I'm a Londoner but regularly visit family in PBoro. The food at Jenas is every bit as good as I'd expect from the best places in my area of south east London - and there are many. I find reviews that say things like 'worst Indian restaurant in peterborough' and 'even the dog wouldn't eat it' suspicious, to put it mildly. Not been in the restaurant itself, only ever ordered for delivery, and in this respect they could do with speeding things up a bit. We waited an hour & a quarter last night, and the (charming) delivery driver said he'd taken a wrong turn. They probably need a better map but otherwise, everything was great and excellent value too.

Food was a little late but made up for it in taste and quality. What a lovely meal we had, all 3 of us were very, very impressed. Beautiful sauces and bread and the meat just fell apart. Fab!!! Can't wait to have another order.

Great food, clearly some proper cooking. Rice portions just right for two people. Friendly delivery guy too, and the boxes were helpfully labelled.

Desde aquí pedimos tener nunca antes, pensamos dar Jenas intentarlo. ¡Qué error! Como estamos India pedí mi comida desi estilo, así que es más picante y estilo indio, que dicen que es bien. La orden llegó a casi 50 libras.

Tras el cierre de nuestro restaurante indio local en Hampton Vale ya que tuve que buscar más un campo. Hace años había visitado Jena tanto en Westwood y Brook Street. Ordenados en línea y fue entregado 15 minutos antes de lo anunciado. El pollo tikka Jalfrezi y pollo dansak eran fabulosos, genial Ali gobi más arroz y nan. Definitivamente la comida y tamaños buena parte

Apart from decent portion size compare to others you lack in everything else so I don't really rate it i no my curry's I get a lot from alot of places won't be in a hurry to order from you guys again tbh kind regards

Good portion sizes. Damsak was great. Lamb was a little tough for my liking. Garlic naan was covered in chopped garlic cloves and was very thick, ordered a peshwari naan but not sure this is what arrived. Enjoyed meal overall.

Again lovely curry with perfect big portions and good quantity of meat and of course the amazing customer service from the delivery man - always friendly polite staff! I was recommended this place about 3 years ago and haven't found anyone that compares in Peterborough yet! Thank you

Food was good quality although delivery took over an hour. Some of it was hotter than other bits but portion sizes were huge! Delivery guy was very lovely and will definitely order again :)

Nice food but Jenas added an additional 30mins to delivery time. They also called me to tell me they had no king prawns. Disappointing!

Food awesome as always. The delivery time was later than stated and wrong food was Delivered initially. Driver had gone so had to call restaurant to inform. Was told driver on his way back straight away but we actually Were waiting a further Half an hour in the end to receive the food . Handed first delivery back to driver. Would have been nice to have received something extra just as an apology but wasn't the case. Actually tipped the driver for the first delivery as well!

Great food every time (even if I do order Lamb Dhansak most times 😁) Nice touch in sending a Raita even tho it was not on the menu or charged for. Best delivery driver you will ever meet.
