The coffee is awful, weak and tasteless. Cakes sometimes old. Such a shame as the village could benefit from a good coffee shop.

Stumbled across when out cycling one weekend and was made very welcome. Friendly attentive staff and good quality fayre. The following weekend I was out with family on our motorcycles, their intended destination was closed, as we were only 10 minutes away, I said "I know where to go". We were made just as welcome and my party were equally impressed with the choice.

I've recently gone gluten free and have struggled to find anywhere that provides a decent gluten free menu if anything at all, thankfully I'm a regular at Jemima's and am really amazed that in places where I would usually only be offered a prepackaged brownie or a bowl of soup minus the bread roll, here I am offered a full menu that is gluten free and vegan friendly. I had the vegan glow bowl and was not disappointed.

Staff weren’t interested in us at all. Food was over cooked and bland. Alright for a lunch but nothing special and bit of a journey away for us. Asked for no tomato with my meal but it arrived with a tomato! Good thing I’m not allergic..

Had a panini, cake and coffee here and would recommend, all were delicious and well priced. Service was good, clothing, bags and accessories are interesting and nicely displayed. Fairly busy, many of the customers were obviously regular visitors and there was a lovely ambience about these tea rooms, will definitely revisit .

The tables and chairs are tired quite uncomfortable. The tables needed clean ing cutlery did not look clean. Food was nice but cake dry. Did not feel very welcome but they were busy. It is a shop as well as a tea room selling clothes etc. I was expecting a lot more and was dissapointed.

I went for lunch and ordered a bacon, Brie and cranberry panini and it was lovely! The prices were also very good! I paid for lunch and it came to £13 for a vegan toastie, my panini, a cup of tea and a can. The clothes in their were beautiful too. The only let down was the soya milk hot chocolate.. I didn’t really taste the childcare but hey, apart from that it was a lovely experience! And I will be going back!

Stopped in for coffee and it was like an episode from The Twilight Zone. The four people already in there were enjoying their hot drinks so when I waited for over 10 minutes for my Americano with milk poured in despite my requesting on the side,it was all a bit strange. Everything happens very very slowly. No urgency. Just very very slowly. Hard to work out what the “shop” is all about. Littered just about all over the place are various “novelty items” you can buy- none of which really relate to the tea room and most of which you’d expect to find in a village bazaar. . My Luke warm coffee was finished quickly and I left wondering what had just happened.

Arrived in Minster early for a doctors appointment and as Jemima's is at the end of the road we went in for a coffee. Made very welcome by staff and although we only had a Latte it was very well presented. Jemima's has recently been extended and has been very tastefully decorated. A great place for a coffee and cake break for locals and visitors alike.

Excellent friendly service in a charming village café. I visited with a group of friends and have enjoyed coffee and cakes - cakes being their speciality. If the conversation dries up and I'm sure it won't, you can always look out of the window onto village life - ongoing outside and always entertaining, come rain or shine! The café has a lovely secluded tea garden at the rear for those that like to take in the sunshine and fresh air.

Had a shock when in a group this morning in that we witnessed cleaning of cobwebs with a broom to the ceiling of the tea room over the area that food and drinks were being prepared! Wow, not good. Shame because the two ladies serving were polite and friendly but the lady with the broom should have been advised not to do this whilst premises being used for food preparation during opening hours..........Basics!

Lovely looking place and was looking forward to a lovely coffee and cake. My Americano came in a large mug with milk added already! It was replaced with no fuss and did come back as an Americano should (black) but again in a large mug. It was a weak mug of hot brown liquid! I'd also ordered a piece of Victoria sponge to get a slice of very homemade, dry cake with no sight of any jam and covered in hundreds and thousands sprinkled on a sickly sweet icing. It was a real 'village' experience.

Visited here whilst living in Minster for a few days dog sitting. What a fabulous café...wonderful coffee, cakes and all sorts of food served. We had coffee and warmed cheese scones...they were to die for. Our littlie had banana milkshake which he loved, even dunking his cheese scone in it!!!! Within the café there is so much to see and purchase for wonderful gifts, lots made locally I think. The ladies were extremely caring and go out of their way to cater for your every need. They are in the high street and on a good day there is seating outside the back.

We visited here for a festive afternoon tea. We thought the food was delicious tasty and presented beautifully. The attention given to our table was perfect giving us time to chat but coming over when we needed refills to our teapots. I don't know what the previous reviewer had on her agenda, but my wife and I had a lovely refreshing stop in this lovely teashop in this attractive small town. And Jemima's was an attractive and quirky little place in the nicest possible way, as we do so well in England. Welcoming staff with a lovely interior and suntrap outside; unfortunately my friend and I were disappointed with the quality of the cake & drinks. The red velvet cake was dry, the cola was a cheap brand (and a very small glass) and my friend's iced coffee wasn't what you'd expect it was just ordinary coffee made with water and ice cubes. Shame, as the little suntrap was perfect place for chilling with a cuppa and slice of cake.

The only reason I have given no for the meal section, is that I have not had a meal in Jemima's so cannot give a rating for them. However, the cakes are delicious. Beside being a little shop selling all sorts of different and original items. Jemima's is a lovely little tea/coffee shop, serving cream teas, homemade cakes and light lunches. Highly recommended for meeting friends etc., The only place in Minster like it. A charming little 'old fashioned' tea shop in the middle of the village. Felicity’s Cafe at Quex in Birchington is an absolute gem. Picture this—you roll up to this quaint little spot, and from the second you walk in, it’s got that vibe. Friendly, warm, like you’re part of the family. We’re talking fresh, local ingredients that just hit differently. The coffee? Smooth. The cakes? Sweet but not too sweet. Service? Spot on. The folks here treat you right, not in some fake, scripted way. You can tell they care, like they want every dish to be a hit, and let me tell you—it is. You want cozy, comfort, and quality all wrapped up in one? Felicity’s Cafe nails it.

My friend and I went here for the first time on a weekday lunchtime and found seating downstairs. As all busy upstairs and we didn’t want to sit outside or in the covered walkway to the cinema area. We both thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and coffee. I had prawn and avocado sandwich on brown bread with salad and Kent Crisps my friend had smoked Salmon and cream cheese bagel that also came with salad and crisps. The cakes looked very nice but we were a bit full to try them probably will in our next visit. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely go back!
