Buena comida. Cocinado bien. Pollo y kebabs eran agradables y tiernos. Porciones muy grandes. La única crítica fue que el servicio podría haberse dado con una sonrisa, pero la comida era de primera clase.

Always busy, always fresh. You pay that bit extra from most places on Wilmslow Road but it is nice clean fresh food. The meats of a good quality too, I’m picky with my meats and it’s something I can eat comfortably time and time again. This is another place we go often! Ordered a cheese burger and chicken burger. Cheeseburger and the chips were great, but the chicken burger was very disappointing. A very small patty in comparison to the bun and then half of the patty was so over cooked that it was inedible, could not get a bite out of it. Not sure if this the standard for the restaurant but we did expect better. Other than that, decent food.

The first time trying qabuly pilau and love it so much! It is totally different from Chinese rice which is more sticky and shorter than pilau rice. Qabuly pilau here is full of the taste of lamb and spice. I'm especially into the lamb buried in the rice. There are three huge chunks of lamb and all of them are tender. The salad is more gorgeous than other cafes. The price is a little bit higher but worth the money.

As an Arab, I grew up eating a huge variety of tasty middle eastern dishes so naturally it would be harder to impress my taste buds compared to someone who's never tasted this stuff before. With that said, the food they serve isn't bad at all. I ordered a rice dish, can't remember its name, but it had chopped carrots and lamb meat. It was really good! The long kebab dish is not bad either but I recommend ordering it with some hummus, wrap it in the bread it comes with, dip it and enjoy. Or eat it with rice, which is what I did. You order at the till, no waiter to come ask for your order, and you pay later. The service is good and quick too. Prices are on the cheap side which is always good. My main complaint about the place is the noise. It was really loud in there, the tv was loud, some customers were loud and so is the kitchen noise. Another thing was the hygiene, there was a weird smell that comes and goes, it was bad. I'm not sure where it came from, but it's tolerable. There was a small fly walking on my table and some soup drops on the ground where we sat which made it slippery. So to sum up, if you don't mind the noise, then go eat there because the food and the prices are great.

We were able to help ourselves to dates and they gave a complimentary lamb and lentil soup to break fast with. The food was delicious, hot and fresh and was served promptly as soon as fast was broken. Staff are brilliant and friendly and very attentive. If you are looking for an authentic middle eastern cuisine, then you should definitely pay a visit. The half chicken with rice is legendary, out of this world. Proper home cooking, the rice itself can be eaten on its own, such is the flavour. It's a refreshing change from all the oily curries you get in Rusholme, this place is a no-nonsense foodie's haven. You know, the kind that is tucked away in a street corner with no ostentatious decor but the food sweeps you off your feet.Try the qabily pilau too, a blend of lamb meat slow cooked with rice/raisins/carrots served with a bowl of lentil soup. All this for less than 6 pounds and the portions are huge! Throughout Uni I have only met one female friend who managed to finish hers and she has gone down in folklore. The 'red sauce' that they serve is often copied but never rivalled. It's a blend of tomatoes, onions, coriander, herbs and lime, totally outstanding. Trust me, pay a visit once and you will never forget. My mouth waters just by writing this, and guess what, I am going to head there for dinner!

Excellent service, decor and presentation however the food was incredibly bland and expensive. The hot mixed platter was a mix of fresh and frozen options, reasonably sized. I had the vegetable stuffed aubergine which was ok - lacked any seasoning and was only half aubergine - for £17.95 that's overpriced. We ordered a bottle of Australian Shiraz which turned out to be only 11% non vintage for £25 which was disappointing.

Unsafe Food Practices and Unacceptable Service Our recent experience at this takeaway was truly horrible. The issues we encountered ranged from food safety concerns to poor service quality, making it impossible to recommend this establishment. Food Quality and Safety: Our chicken tikka we ordered was problematic. The naan bread was excessively soggy due to an overabundance of yogurt sauce, meaning it was just inedible. My partner then fell severely ill with diarrhoea 5 minutes after eating the meal, raising serious questions about food safety practices. Hygiene Concerns: While waiting for our order, my partner observed deeply concerning kitchen practices. Staff members were using the same utensils to handle both chicken and burgers, a clear violation of basic food safety protocols. This cross-contamination risk is unacceptable and potentially dangerous. The staff are also extremely rude, and this place has a history of poor customer service is equally troubling. They are known to previously have been extremely ride and abusive towards a wheelchair user and due to illegally denying her access, and actually having received a visit from the police as a direct result of this staff misconduct. This staff rudeness and unpleasantness, as reported here also by other reviewers, paint a picture of a consistently problematic environment. Given the combination of food safety issues, hygiene violations, and a track record of unacceptable staff behaviour, I recommend potential customers to avoid this takeaway. The risks to both health and well-being far outweigh any potential benefits.
