Good food. Delivered in good time. What more can you ask for?

Normally with the past few orders Javits have been very good, however, on this occasion the meal was terrible, it did not arrive directly from the shop and was almost cold. Javits needs to do better.

So overpriced they forget they're in Granton. £19 for a mixed wrap and £16 pizzas...'Regular' chips come in a foil container like rice from the Chinese and is therefore a tiny portion. Average food, will never use again

Didn't arrive at all said it was delivered elsewhere which i don't understand as you have the code or phone number

Portion size was more than enough for 1 person. and the jacket potato was yummy

I am not happy with my delivery . I waited from 11.15pm to 12pm.My delivery come to different address. After my phone I got new delivery but at 12.00 pm very late

Delivery time amazing but the chips way undercooked and quality of food nowhere near a good as this community chippy used to be for the people now it’s just for the money raised prices mega but the quality has dropped massively

Food is always amazing. I have never had a bad experience here delivery is always superfast.

"The donar wrap I bought was disappointing. The food had gone bad, and the wrap without any salad, just meat, isn’t worth purchasing. The meat doesn’t taste the same on its own. It's the same with the chicken wrap. Portions used to be decent, but now they are so small, it’s like they’re meant for kids. It’s no longer worth buying."

Extremely disappointed in this delivery. I use this restaurant all the time but unfortunately on this occasion is was awful. I left a note to ask for minimal sauce and when it arrived it was overflowing all over the place so when I opened it up the sauce went everywhere and stained my brand new pyjamas. Extremely unhappy with just eat also as I requested a full refund and have heard nothing in return. I will be happy to order again as this usually is not the case. really disheartening

Used to love this chippy and always used it on a Saturday for tea , unfortunately the quality seems to be dropping off over the past few months one week the fish and chips is actually amazing and the next week it is awful . I've just had another awful fish supper so seriously thinking now about just using another chippy which is a shame . The battery on the fish was soggy and the fish itself was pretty tasteless , the chips were like eating MDF and the whole thing was barley warm which brings me to my next point of the delivery drivers never seeing to have insulated bags so never get a hot delivery which is pretty bad in this day and age . Sorry guys really used to enjoy the food but going to have to go elsewhere I think .

My account is showing a discount Stamp card balance of £6.57 as per your email to me of 21 June. But it was not applied to either this order or the one placed on 7 July, and is now showing a 2nd stamp card! Please advise how I can use this?

Ordered the margarita pizza x2 as daughter always gets this and loves it however tonight on 1st time having 1 for myself I said this is extremely salty. Asked daughter if like this normally and she no, it’s horrible and way too salty, but both ate them as we were both hungry but had to have 3 tins of coke.

The penne picante pasta had far too many chillies - the whole dish was full of them and whilst I like spicy food, this pasta dish was completely inedible.

Used to go to this chip shop regularly but in recent times has sadly gone down hill big time and when getting a delivery it costs £4.00 and this service charge which they should not be charging people what is service charge got fish chips lunch time today was disappointing fish was hard chips were hard and it’s went up in price to £6 from £5 2 weeks ago thanks why it was empty no one will pay £6 for rubbish would not use this place again

all good except the salad sauce last few times ordered it has been so mustard tasting nit very nice and not the usual

Totally disgusting ordered a pizza which cost around £10 it had about £20 worth of cheese dumped in the middle making it totally inedible and probably cost the owner a fortune wasting so much food it was seriously enough for 5 pizzas I’m finished with this place no effort anymore

left a note asking for a separate tub of brown sauce! For the delivery driver to bring me 2x red sauce! And refused to leave my door until i paid 80p for the wrong sauce! During him arguing with me RED is BROWN my dog ran out to say hello and he kicked her!!!!!!! My partners on the phone to javits! And the rude lady on the phones saying i’l check the cameras as ur lying!! Im so glad my neighbours just got a ring doorbell installed 😆

Believe it or not this was the first time I’ve ever ordered a takeaway from anywhere, and I’m 76, probably get in the Guinness book f records. Javits I use a lot , but being close by I go to the shop. I was expecting maybe stuff that had been lying in the hot plate, but it came fresh as were the chips, delivery was on screen quite long 45 min to 1 hr. So was shocked literally 10 min later the delivery was made. So excellent 5 star service. I have only 1 complaint the price of a coke is in

Sadly thought I had found a great chippy. Five successful orders that were delicious. This one was awful. Everything was dripping in oil. Pizza was soggy and inedible. Tried calling restaurant to complain but couldn’t get through. I would not have thought it was from the same place as previous orders.

very disappointed in tonight's food. usually the food is hot and we enjoy the food. Not tonight. £42 for 3 fish suppers which we left quite a bit of. First time I've had to leave a bad review.

Meal was nice but not happy about my change meal was £27.64 and gave £29 but only got 40p change

Poor value for money when it comes to portion size. A large doner kebab is anything but large when it comes to the price. The price is as expensive as anyone around but the wafer thin cut doner meat comes as a small portion. While it is tasty enough, overall not good value for money. Stenhouse cross chippie is in my opinion the best value in quality and size. Only my opinion.

Scampi was grey. The 2 single fishes were only batter and no fish inside both. Pizza was ok, chips seimi ok. Requested refund on scampi and fish but doubt it will happen

Can’t really complain about the food but the sauce was disgusting watered down with vinegar and was a tan colour leaking thru the box as was so watery, thus making the chips stick to the box, fish as always tastes good, just wish would cook little longer in the batter. Kebab meat - not sure on as strange taste- pizza well defo can’t comment as kid loves it

Just received the WORST customer service got spoken to so badly then when I react and ask to speak to manager/ javit about a refund got denied this. My food was stone cold and actually came really quickly so no idea how it was so cold, the attitude from these people are a joke. Food was DISGUSTING and I usually order from here every single week and will not be back! 2 chip shops now totally rubbish right across from each other.

absolutely disgusting service first of all I've ordered from here several times from javits paying cash and this is the first time they've had to verify with a phone call also what they show Vs what you get is very different

Had a £10 voucher sent from just eat but kept saying invalid so not impressed there. Ok now the food. Fish special batter/ breadcrumbs tasted revolting but the fish ok, chips not bad, kid likes the pizza. Mrs didn’t like the batter on rib supper but overall ok

Order didn’t arrive. Called restaurant and they put delivery driver on the phone who told me he had delivered order. I said he hadn’t delivered it to me. Phoned back and lady who answered said she would speak to her boss. Phoned back again and was told delivery was on its way. Order eventually arrived.

Askd for no salad on mini kebab and 2 times for salad dressing came with salad and hardly any sauce as all so was very dry

Mix-up at JustEat meant I had to call Javits at 11.30pm, who sorted it out immediately and dropped off my order. Next time I'll skip the app and go directly to the source instead. Great chips, as always!

There was no tracking involved, my order was simply confirmed, but it doesn’t matter because the delivery driver was so fast. Would recommend putting the sauce on the side for the restaurant in regards to the chips when delivery, Thanks! Really nice for late night pizza too

The chicken pakora had absolutely been reheated/refried - it was dry and looked over cooked and it arrived with no sauce, thats usually included. The burger was so drenched in garlic sauce that the bin fell apart. Really disappointing.
