Jaspers Take Away in Canterbury

Local take-out place. One of the few places open after 9pm. Our hotel recommended it and it was an average kebab place. Staff wasn't overly friendly but the food came out quick

Inedible and over priced lamb shish. I have never returned a kebab my life but this was so bad I actually feel sick thinking about what I put in my mouth despite being ravenous at the end of the night. They did replace with chicken but no apology from the miserable and taciturn young serving lad. Never trust a kebab shop that doesn't display their kitchen. Never again.

The best kebab shop in Canterbury it's always delivered hot and the chilli sauce is banging I would recommend to those partial to a late night kebab

Best place ever.I recommend everyone to eat there.They have pizzas,kebabs,burgers,wings and everything you could ask for.I have been there many times and when I tell you I love it I LOVE it.

Best kebab, especially chicken fillet burger and must try buy 1 get 1 pizza (must order through jaspers app). Best delivery drivers in town (indian fat guy).

We were on a mini-break in Canterbury. We stayed in a remote part of Canterbury. We decided to order a takeaway and chosen Jaspers, a pizza, kebab, burgers and wraps. It was easy to order from, took our order and the food came with 25 minutes. We ordered a chicken shish and Lamb shish with chicken wings. We had the best pita bread ever for a kebabs. It was large and soft not the normal hard pita bread you get. They even took my payment upon collection with the wireless machine, wasn't too sure if it could get connectivity but it did. Great food and service. Highly recommend

I ordered my pizza with plenty of time and it never came. I am STILL WAITING. It has been 40 minutes since it was meant to arrive and I am VERY hungry. This is a disgraceful.

It was amazing. Food is great, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is brilliant 10/10. Best delivery in canterbury. they usually deliver the food within 20minutes.

Just had a takeaway for the family it was very nice and the burger was so enjoyable. I will be visiting again very soon

I ordered a large order because I had a bbq but ran out of gas. The staff were brilliant. They coped well with the large order. The food was hot and fresh. The staff were so helpful and one of them a little bit gorgeous.

I didn't get my order I said I was number 2 on my order and there saying number 19 apparently they came here several times but no one has been here I have called again they are refusing to refund or send my order out again I haven't eaten all day I want my money or something back

Came in to buy some food and used the bin for something i previously bought but after giving me the food, the server was rude and told me i can’t use their bin despite ordering from them. I was so shocked and I wished he had said that before i ordered so i wouldn’t have bought from them. Food was awful anyway. Do not recommend.

Had our takeaway delivery however we had a portion of chips missing. Tried to call a number of times but our calls kept getting rejected so messaged them, no answer. They also put the wrong sauce on the kebab and to top it off I found a hair. My app has been deleted, will not order again, awful service.

Ordered through Just Eat, had a delivery from them before, which was fine. Order accepted, delivery time 45 minutes, reasonable for a Saturday night. Then ‘order cancelled’ notification by restaurant, clearly couldn’t be bothered to deliver for £26.I had to eat cabbage and carrots on a Saturday night, unforgivable! 🙈

Ordered a doner/ chicken kebab. Got lamb/ chicken after a long, long, long wait (despite being the only customers) instead. No idea why. When we got home we tried to chew through the lamb or chicken and then discovered why our wait had been so long. My shoes would have been more tender and definitely better tasting. It all went in the bin. Never, ever again. There is a reason why you can't see the kitchen here.

Absolutely disgusted food was delivered fast enough but it was cold never order again needs a microwave proper warm up terrible food

Soggy chicken I feel sick I binned it. Actually disgusting. Your better of making toast at 3am if your hungry. They've robbed me. I've actually been robbed. They've violated my bank account in ways it didn't want to be. I know I'm not gonna get a refund. So this is the result they're gonna get. AND THE CHICKEN WAS SPICY when I ordered regular.

I see previous reviews were from 2014! I can honestly say WOW ! what a difference from then to now! The new owner/s have really worked hard, the place looks fabulous, the food is delicious. We just had a fresh crispy salad with a pizza that tasted like the dough had just been made, generous toppings and as its 2020! and we are in lockdown, the staff kindly brought the food out to me and put it in my boot. Thanks guys.

Avoided jaspers so much next year but finally had it tonight and OMG I’ve been missing out. Cheesy chips with garlic sauce is heavenly after a night out 11/10

Pedimos 3 comidas de Jaspers a través de solo comer. Los nuggets de kebab y pollo estaban como se esperaba, pero mis "tiras de pollo estaban sobre rebanadas cocidas cortadas de una hamburguesa de pollo. No era lo que se esperaba y prácticamente no era comestible. Si te has quedado sin algo, díselo a tus clientes para que puedan adaptarse su orden. Has perdido este.

Aquí acampé en Canterbury por unos días y me encontré con esta gran comida para llevar, solo pedí el kebab mediano de pollo pero mi porción fue increíble, 4 piezas de pollo, más ensalada y recién cocinado, ¡delicioso! !Oh, advirtiéndole a mi esposo que tenía la salsa chili y está caliente!

ordered via just eat, didn't turn up. I called to ask where my order was to be told they dont come that far! Why accept the f@#$ing order then...wont use again, absolute joke

I have had delivery's from here from just eat. Food is always very good quality and very good prices and extremely quick delivery.

Esa fue mi culpa porque estaba cansada y estaba tratando de ayudar.He comido casi todos los artículos en el menú, pero me gustan más las pizzas.

Pedimos a Jaspers el fin de semana pasado y quedamos horrorizados de encontrar un pulmón de pollo dentro de nuestra comida. El personal fue obviamente descuidado en la preparación de la comida y este descubrimiento arruinó nuestra noche, haciendo que mi amigo se sintiera enfermo. La comida también estaba fría, las patatas estaban húmedas y en general nos quedamos muy decepcionados. Enviamos un correo electrónico a JustEat para presentar una queja formal (Jaspers no tiene una dirección de correo electrónico) pero no recibimos respuesta y llamó a Jaspers esta tarde para volver a tratar el tema. Mi amigo se encontró con una conversación telefónica francamente condescendiente y poco profesional con el gerente de este establecimiento. Se negó a siquiera abordar el problema y siguió poniendo excusas. Finalmente colgó en el medio de la conversación. NUNCA haremos pedidos desde este establecimiento nuevamente y esperamos que esta revisión sirva como elemento de disuasión para otros clientes.

Soy un visitante habitual de mi kebab house favorita en Canterbury, así que pensé que ya era hora de que dejara una crítica, probé una variedad de artículos del menú y, en la mayoría de los casos, ha sido excelente. Pedí un 1/4 pounder con queso y tocino cuando llegué a casa. Abrí mi hamburguesa y descubrí que tenía un cuarto de galón con queso y jamón. Llamé a la tienda para preguntar por qué no había tocino. la hamburguesa y me dijeron que era "tocino halal, así es como siempre lo ha sido", ahora no pretendo saber todo sobre el proceso de la carne halal, pero de lo que estoy seguro es de que no es barato allí para es poco probable que sea un elemento estándar en cualquier menú, también se anuncia en el menú como (tocino) no (tocino halal), lo que significa que alguien con una aversión, intolerancia o incluso alergia al pavo se está poniendo en riesgo sin saberlo. además de esto, la declaración de la señora en el teléfono (como siempre) no es cierto. Ordenado 3 brochetas de cordero y una pizza tardó casi una hora en llegar puede entenderlo probablemente ocupado un viernes por la noche pero llegaron todos los kebabs estaban fríos había más ensalada y luego el pan de pita estaba cocinado y el paquete estaba empapado. Bonito y limpio, hizo aquí hace más de una década y no fue, varios cambios de gestión, ya que creo. La comida era genial, mi compañero pidió un especial mixta kebab, era enorme. Mi kofte tenía un poco de hueso en CREO QUE ME casi rotos un diente. Aparte de eso, buena comida por un buen precio, especialmente post alcohol. X

Stopped here to get a takeaway and the place was lovely and clean the staff were nice and friendly and the food was really nice really enjoyed our kebabs.

Had a couple of kebabs delivered tonight. Was a little apprehensive as I read the reviews after ordering, doh! Anyway, all arrived within the time we were advised and although, if you were picky, you could say the meat was a little tired, we thoroughly enjoyed our kebabs, the salad was fresh and plentiful and the meat was also a reasonable portion. We've even got some left for breakfast. :-)

Risa! Yo y mi fantasmales ordenados lo que pensábamos era comida deliciosa, pero para mi horror la comida nunca llegó! Además el servicio de atención al cliente era horrible! Nunca volveré viva y definitivamente no lo recomendaría a cualquiera!

Fui a Jaspers le hace poco ahora, y todo lo que tengo que decir es que no volveremos, nada sobre la experiencia fue buena, la comida era sosa y antiguo, y el personal era muy grosero conmigo, yo no recomendaría este lugar a mi enemigo!

Pizza bastante pesado, gran Hay de pollo, gran servicio, un montón de espacio para sentarse. Hay incluso una máquina frutas y una televisión.

3 veces equivocadas de comida! Entrega tardía 2 horas tarde para ser exactos. Y el personal sólo Juro en que nunca comer allí de nuevo!

I am housebound n have tried a ifew takeaway delivered but Jasper's was defiantly the best. I live in a small village the food is very tasty and the only fast food delivery that brings food still hot only thing I didn't like was asking for salad on my veggie burger n just got loads of red n white raw onions. No lettuce or tomatoe . I would definetly recommend jaspers

Ordered via the Just Eat App. States free delivery to our postcode. Ordered was placed hours before delivery due and paid online. Delivery time of 7pm came and went....we call at 7.30pm to be told we are really busy (on a Tuesday, hmm) half hour later....so an hour after due delivery we get a call saying our order had been cancelled as they won't deliver to us. No apology from the business themselves and can take up to 5 days to refund the money! Appalled and disgusted. If they won't deliver they shouldn't be on the site. I rang and complained, least I know never to bother again.

the food is good but just got a delivery and i paid for a can of coke which was missing. the delivery guy also had to wait for 8 minutes because we couldn't hear the phone, went outside and he swore at me and said he had been waiting for half an hour which he hadn't.

I have tried the burgers and kebabs from Jaspers take away and they are lovely; some of the nicest ones I've found around Canterbury. I would have rated excellent but on trying their pizza or garlic bread I was very disappointed. I will definitely order a burger or kebab again but nothing else.

The food is nice in here, except do not but the pizzas! They are watery and under cooked! Also their was an incident in here and staff did not step in or kick the other customers out which we were shocked about! The staff behind the counter are nice, but their are men who cook the food sit in the restaurant area and do not look very clean... They do however offer toilet facilities and a television!

I ordered two kebabs and chips. The meat was sub quality and the chips were cooked in oil that wasn't hot enough!Horrible food.Is there anywhere in Canterbury that does a good consistent kebab?

Jaspers is a happy coincidence in our move to Canterbury and came recommended by our son who had used them when he lived here. I had chicken donner and chips with garlic sauce and salad, and Hyper-critical chef husband had Shaslik kebab with garlic sauce and salad, even he was impressed (usually there's a "but".....). Very good sized portions, good food quality, delivered quickly - probably would be more of a wait later in the evening but worth it not to have to go out again. Every chance it will be a regular meal choice.

Very good helpful staff and service, the doner kebab is nice I have burger sauce with chips delivery driver always happy and grateful best in canterbury.

Just bought one lamb doner and one chicken doner. Not a trace of colour on a single piece of the lamb or chicken; no flavour either. Worst doners for years. If this has been cooked in-shop in the proper way, where are the doner kebabs they carve it from, normally the showpiece of even the most basic place? Apparently hidden away for 'health and safety' reasons when I rang them to complain! If you're starving hungry when the pubs throw out, OK foddder, but otherwise, give it a wide miss.

The pizza is the best loads of toppings and cheese, not a bad price too. You have to speak clear because they can mix it up and give you something else but if its the right thing its lovely.

Got a Lamb Doner kebab from here, had a large and got so much food! The meat was moist and delicious and you get loads for the price. Would definitely reccomend and visit again.
