Being going here for over 20 years and other than the fact they close too early and sometimes run out of potatoes this is simply the best spuds and food around! Staff are friendly and deliver great service, would recommend them any day especially for the spuds!

Usually good food. Today served by a girl I'd never seen before - ordered a bacon and egg bap, when opened it it was sandwich. Not the usual generous amount. Also what put me off was her getting touching her nose and face whilst preparing food. Also noticed she's had long nails and dirty tabbaco stained fingers. Yuk. Couldn't eat it hardly. Won't be going again.

A really gorgeous jacket potato. I asked for extra butter and chilli and that was what I got. The filling was generous and not all kidney beans (as with other I shall not name). We also had 2 with beans and cheese and these were also swimming in toppings. Highly recommend.

A great place to get tasty food to go while shopping around Ventura retail park in Tamworth. All served by friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Comberford RoadAlways great service and always great food. If you don’t like bingo avoid Thursday as it’s granny’s day out. But it is separated in the bar area but can be busy at the bar.

2 Lower GungateI stopped off in Tamworth to visit the castle and when I was finished it appeared to be lunchtime. I made a decision to pop into The Penny Black, just so as not to be rude, and I was pleased that the beer was cold, the staff were friendly and the food was tasty. Well done folks, I would highly recommend a visit here for yourself.

The Dolphin New Street GlascoteVisited for the first time in over 40 years at the weekend to celebrate a good friends birthday. It's just recently been refurbished and is a decent, comfortable pub that's well supported by its locals. Yes, there's naturally curiosity from the locals when an 'outsider' walks in but the regulars I spoke with were very pleasant and welcoming. Really good atmosphere though and pleasant staff who didn't leave anyone waiting.
