When this food arrived i was horrified at this food. It was most probably the worst food that I have ever eaten. The chicken balls were undercooked and tasteless, not only that the chicken has no flavour and tasted off. Moreover the egg fried rice was horrfic, i was distgusted to find a hair in the rice. I honestly believe that i will never be able to eat a chinese again. Do not eat under any circumstance.

Ordered from here a few times and it’s always been passable but this takeaway was absolutely disgusting !!! Do not waste your money. The chicken and black bean was mixture of syrupy sauce and a few pieces of hard , thin over cooked chicken and old mushy peppers. The chow mein was swimming in some sort of oily gravy and didn’t taste like chow mein . The worst Chinese I’ve ever had !

This was honestly the worst takeaway I’ve ever had in my life. For starters we didn’t even receive any complimentary prawn crackers after spending over £25. disgraceful behaviour. The food was bland and my curry literally looked like my New Year’s Day hangover poopy. I will never be going to this establishment again and will be dedicating my time this week on burning your “restaurant” to the ground. You can shove your prawn crackers up your fanny you absolute bunch of inconsiderate lemons

All food was wet. Pancakes had visible spots of mould. Also small piece of wire in duck. Delivery driver was pleasant however, shout-out to Navid

Had a take away and it was truly awful. Rice tasted as if it was burnt bits scrapped from the bottom of a pan which had not been washed. NEVER again

We ordered 35 pounds worth of Chinese food and it took over an hour to come. The portion sizes were horrendous and so small. We were missing portions of seseme prawn toast and when we tried to contact them our calls were declined and we called over 25+ times with no responses

AVOID!!! Food arrived 45mins late with a lame excuse that the driver was stuck in traffic. It’s a 15min drive from the restaurant. Food was cold, vegetables in the main did not look fresh, rice was crunchy, prawn toast and spring rolls were swimming in a brown liquid. The whole order went in the bin and restaurant refused to give a refund for food that was not fit for human consumption

Order took 2 hours to arrive, all the food was cold, bbq spare ribs were extremely salty, spring ‘rolls’ were just one large spring roll that tasted horrible, curly fries were chewy and tempura prawns were chewy and also one just had tempura and no prawn inside it!!! Seriously the worst takeaway ever, really ruined my evening. Also they don’t pick up the phone, tried continuously for 40 minutes on two numbers provided.

Ordered a takeaway from here. I had the duck which had bones left in left right and centre, and crispy chilli beef which was mostly vegetables and the beef was chewy. The next day I was horrendously ill, do NOT order from here. I'm not sure how they are still allowed to be open when there is such an obvious risk to health, and seeing all the other reviews I know I'm not alone.

The food was that much of a mess and a disgrace it made eating bats in Wuhan child's play. Shut this gutwrenching swamp of a business down - in no way shape or form can this be classed fit for human consumption.

Omg I cannot describe how BAD this takeaway is. The crispy chilli beef looks like it has mold on it. The sweet and sour chicken balls are grey and the sauce smells like washing up liquid. And the ribs even my dog's turned there nose up to it. The chips were the only thing edible. Disgusting place should be shut down immediately. Robbing gits.

I whish I would have read the reviews before ordering.. This business is not food, there is something else happening in that takeway or whatever it is... Order - 1 hr late. Acceptable Food - cold mixed with hot, some discoloured meat, and half portions...!! (Eg the prown dish, had 4 prwans, a few mushrooms, £8) Customer service - non existent, we were told to go to Just east and complaint after which they hang up the phone Did try it, DISCUSTING. Taste of old leftovers cooked in overfried oil. For the large order we had, horrible customer service and most important unsafe food I will actually take this further to the council.

am leaving this poor review as I have order again in April 2020 and for the 3rd time the service has been terrible. Admittedly this 3rd time was during covid but 3 hours after placing the order the food had not even been cooked - I placed the order at 1815. The order was delivered at 2230 ish and it was cold. The last order in 2019 was over an hour late and cold. I will not be using again.

Please do not waste your money, they need closing down, poor quality food, stone cold and greasy, the grease ran out of the prawn balls, prawn toast soggy, the sauces well are in the bin, with the rest!

Food order half missing and what's there is slimy, not cooked and smells revolting. When a complaint was made to the restaurant, my daughter was called a lazy bastard who should be grateful that they're cooking for her. Can't touch the food as it looks revolting and smells disgusting. Absolutely atrocious all round. Order from these scammers at your own peril. Food, what there was of iut was also 2 hours late

Qué fiasco. Pedí comida para llevar grande para 7. 30 a través de Just Eat. El restaurante modificó la hora a las 8 pm. La comida finalmente llegó casi a las 9 pm, no se dieron actualizaciones. Cuando los llamaron para perseguirlos, estaban confundidos e incoherentes. A la comida que llegó le faltaban dos platos. Querían que presentáramos una queja a través de Just Eat, pero insistimos en que cumplieran. Cuando llegaron los platos que faltaban, las albóndigas no tenían sabor y el curry rojo tailandés era una baba transparente con una textura pegajosa y sin sabor más allá del calor, absolutamente irreconocible como un curry tailandés. Desastroso de principio a fin, debería haber mirado sus críticas de TripAdvisor antes de ordenar.

Intenté hacer un pedido de Deliveroo. Aprecio que es un tiempo ocupado, pero tuvimos una espera de 2 horas para la entrega. Recibí un correo electrónico para decir que estaba listo para la entrega y una hora después los llamé y me dijeron que aún no estaba listo. Y nos tomó 108 intentos pasar. Si está tan ocupado, no debería aceptar pedidos.

Absolutely fuming, we waited 2 hours for our order and half of it was missing, meaning half of us had nothing to eat. We ordered one duck dish and one chicken dish and we couldn’t tell whether one of the containers was chicken or duck, and the smell of it was revolting. The rest of the food was unedible, slimy and not cooked. The food is really expensive and will give you food poisoning if eaten. Of course they have put their phone on engaged so they won’t answer. Trading standards need to be called.

After 8 years living in Reading we have now found the worst takeaway in town. Also looks like some one had helped themselves to part of the meals ?

We ordered via just eat, 2 hours 20 minutes later and after 2 phone calls our food arrived, half cold, containers half full, seaweed was well overcooked, the pancake roll was £2.99 and I have had bigger chips. I phoned the restaurant again and complained, all they said was ask just eat for a refund. I will never use these again.

So very disappointing. We ordered and one and a half hours later had to call to find out where our food was. Eventually our order was delivered.

Ordered on Deliveroo, but was really disappointed with everything. Sweet and sour chicken balls had no sauce and when I called restaurant they offered to deliver it. An hour later it still hadn’t arrived. Food when finally eaten was pretty poor - way too much st and there was a hair in the egg fried rice. So all in all my review is don’t buy anything from here ever.

To start with when we opened the bag there was half portions forgetting that all the food had an awful smell coming from it. The rice was clearly burnt but they tried covering it up and the meat was slimey and sticky. We've ordered from here with the previous management and never had a problem. The food was so bad we took the food back and got our money back. Can safely say I will NOT be ordering from there again!!!!!

Thought we was having food from Singapore takeaway but ended up being jasmine garden as was told they had changed there name and was under this name instead. We were very disappointed, the curry was watery and near enough cold. Usually there is more in the curry like carrots and peas and there was too many mushrooms.

Late, no call or message to let me know. Food was cold, and flavourless, Portions of chips £2.50 for a measly little portion. Used to be good food and delivery. Not any more!

Ordered the shredded beef with chilli & few other items. The chilli beef I’m used too (every other Chinese gets it right) apart from this one. The chilli ‘sauce’ was red WATER. Didn’t even eat it , thought it was menstrual blood LOL. Wouldn’t recommend. Will not be buying from here again.

The prawn toast was lovely, but the lemon chicken smelt really strange, the chicken was soggy instead of crispy and the sauce didn't taste of lemon.

Food was really late, no apology given by the driver or restaurant. I tried to cancel via just eat 20 mins before the original order was due to arrive only to be told "the restaurant may already be preparing your food" and mot allowing me to, only for my food to turn up an hour later... what baffled me here is that I actually selected a later time for delivery than the default "ASAP" option. As for the food itself, the quality was poor. Cold chow mein, curry sauce and special fried rice. The chicken balls were hot though at least. The special fried rice had hardly any of the extra chicken, pork or beef you actually pay around £2.20 extra for which was disappointing, and the amount of sauce in the curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce pots was so small less than half of the small pot they provide full. I actually took photos of these as well. Overall poor from start to finish, also from Just Eat, its was sneaky to take someones money upfront and then not allow them to cancel, even when the restaurant is clearly not hitting the standards required by the customer. Avoid this place at all costs

Estimated time for food delivery was 20:30 food arrived at 21:00 and was cold. Chicken balls were not cooked through and pink inside. Overall food was not satisfactory and most of it went in the bin. Very disappointed and would actually prefer money back

I like a Chinese, staying in with a few drinks and good company, just like many others. I have had quite a few but this was the first time from this restaurant. Very dissapointing! Firstly, I had to wait for an hour and a half for my expected delivery time but this was extended by a further 20mins or so, not a great start. Secondly, when the dishes were opened there seemed to be a lot of fresh air, the plastic containers were barely half full. If that was not enough, the taste of nearly all of the dishes was very bland, all were watery. The beef curry had no flavour, the sauce was like a weak gravy? The chicken balls were huge, basically they were big lumps of fried dough with a little bit of chicken in them. This was a first, the 'crispy' shredded beef was not crispy at all and was overshadowed by the vegetables. It should be retitled 'Fried onions, carrots and chilli with dry beef'. Sadly, Jasmine Garden fell short of my not very high expectation and I will not return as there is better tasting food and better value out there.

In reviewing a 'product' I try to be objective, looking to see why there might be poor service or quality but in this case I cannot. The delivery time was not met by some way, it was very late by the time it arrived (there was an apology and a smile from the delivery driver). Our expectations on the quality and amount of food were not met either. The dishes were only half full of very watery, bland and luke warm food! A big dissapointment.

The Singapore vermicel was too dry, and had clumps of curry-tasting powder in it. Chicken and wild mushrooms, too much onion, too sweet, and wild mushrooms were not wild mushrooms. Thai seafood rice tasted old and not fresh. Squid and chilli had hardly any squid pieces only like 5 and waaay too many onions. Crispy crab claw was dissapointing because the crab claw itself was very small and had NO crab meat inside!

When the Food finally turned up after two hours! It was cold and absolutely disgusting. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever seen let alone tasted!!! Two tablespoons of curry sauce in the pot, chicken was not very nice in any of the orders. Didn’t smell very nice. The duck was probably the best thing but it was not crispy in the slightest and there was some sort of liquid in the bottom. I will never order from here again and I’d advise anyone else not to waste your money! Customer service there is shocking too, when called to ask how long they’d be, overhead him laughing and joking about the fact we had rung to ask why after an hour of being told our food was being boxed up that it hadn’t yet arrived!

Noodles were watery and tasted old, doubt they were cooked fresh today.

From order to delivery it took just shy of 2 hours. When the food arrived it was tasty however it was cold. Don’t really think I have much good to say about this experience. Called up twice asking where the delivery was and was told to it was out and to give it a few more minutes.

Cold food. 30 mins late. Stopped calls through to the restaurant after I rang them asking where the food was. Appalling service & and inedible food, greasy & congealed like it was left to go cold before being delivered. Chicken pieces placed on top of each dish with nothing but noodles or rice underneath. It tasted horrible, truly unpleasant food. The rice tasted stale, like old food heated up in the microwave. I will not order from them again!

To start with the positives; the food was delivered on time and it was hot. That's where the positives ends however. We ordered Duck spring rolls; There was a slice of duck wrapped in a lot of pastry, that was it. Panfriend peking dumplings: The taste was alright, but again, way to much dough and they were very dry. The Szechuan Chicken in Garlic Chilli Sauce was inedible as far too salty and the Cantonese Lemon Chicken was just a slimy glop with lemon taste. This is a restaurant we'll never come back to.

It took 1 hour 15 minutes to arrive. The prawn toast was cold and very greasy. Most portions were small for the price, especially seaweed and pancake roll. The Chicken with cashew nuts smelled and tasted nasty. The egg fried rice was dry and did not seem fresh. The overall standard of the food was very poor for the price. We have extensive experience of Chinese takeaway food from other restaurants in the area.

Your Thai food is just absolutely amazing (not discounting your burger etc. range, we just never order it) and we keep coming back for more. Tried your Kung Manow for the first time last order and was blown away; AMAZING and that'll be a standing order going forward. Food is fresh, authentic and so very, very, tasty. Best Thai around, try it!

Very underwhelming - threw most of it away. Couldn't even eat the spring roll as it was soft and under done - how can you get that wrong -it just goes in the fryer!

Green Thai Curry was too salty to eat, and tasted strange and was gloopy. We had to throw it away. Pad Thai noodles were nice, so were the Satay chicken skewers. Food arrived very quickly.

The food is an attack on taste. With bland being it defining factor it goes down like lead. One would assume chicken balls involve chicken, apparently that is incorrect. Chowmein is so dull brexit seems like a more interesting subject and 1 spring roll smaller than my big toe for 2.99; not only do that assault your taste the rip you off whilst doing it.

Possibly the worst Thai curry I’ve ordered in, at least in a very long time. Really disappointed with the artificial taste.

My order turned up 30 minutes earlier, all the boxes where half full, with Luke warm, grey smelly chicken. Wasn’t edible. Incredibly disappointing. Think twice before ordering.

Late and rude when called up to ask

Called the takeaway once I found the correct phone number. They were not interested one bit. When the food finally arrived it was cold.

I ordered my food at 6:05, it is now 20:25 and I have not received my order. I have called them 23 times and no one picks up. They have taken my money and not provided any kind of service. Absolutely DISGUSTING!

Ordered food to be delivered ASAP so restaurant determined delivery time. 25 minutes late so tried to contact restaurant. Number provided repeatedly rang out without being answered. Tried to contact Just Eat but not possible. Eventually ended up in chat queue with 136 people in front of me. Finally found restaurant number on web - different from one Just Eat provide.. Spoke to guy who was full of verbose excuses and wouldn’t allow me a word in edgewise. Food finally arrived 55 mins late. Miserable experience which I won’t be repeating. Food wasn’t too bad but so late, the joy had gone!

Food was ok, still warm. I ordered Chicken Chow Mein and received prawn instead which is disappointing. The prawn dumplings were incredibly soggy, probably not suitable for takeaway. Rang the restaurant 5x about their late delivery, 4x said line was busy and last time the phone rang but no one picked up. A bit disappointing..

Terrible experience with this order and also my previous order, I have waited over an hour and the restaurant told me it was out for delivery over 45 minutes ago. The just eat experience has been awful l. Very unhappy.
