I had big expectations of Jamie snack shack. After a long day of shopping we thought I would be a nice finish to a busy day. The slow cooked beef in the bun was very dry. I can see I had the last portion of the day. I asked to replace it but I could see it was the last servings. I ended getting a refund and hubby and I went KFC Really disappointed as I was excited about this as I am a Jamie fan Real shame

Pulled Beef, cold and ok, but stay clear of the hot dog unless your palate likes chewing on rubber tyres. Easy money for someone, however would never waste my time and money again on this garbage

I'm not really sure how you can give Jaime's snack shack less than a five star rating. Hot slowly cooked beef in a brioche bun with coleslaw and salad, delicious! My son had a hotdog with caramelised onions and a barbecue sauce which he loved too. If you want a la carte dining then don't order from here, but for a scrummy light sandwich it's perfect, all for around £6-£7.

Huge disappointment, staff seemed inconvenienced from ridiculing passing people to take our order. It was not busy. Ordered 3 very overpriced hot dogs and 2 bagels. Took a seat at the dirty outside seating. At least 4 staff were visible. Hot dogs came, but waited over half an hour for the bagels. When we asked were they coming we were sneered at that they were coming. When they eventually came my salmon was brown and my husband had cream cheese rather than goats cheese. Never encountered such openly rude uninterested staff!

We booked a JOFF diner for the interval at Garsington Opera the other night and had a good meal served very well. There was limited time between acts and over 200 covers booked but the food arrived in good time, not rushed and, where appropriate, it was hot, with sufficient serving staff (who were very good) to see to everyone's requirements. A very impressive effort; my only issue (which stopped this attracting 5 stars) was the lamb skin was not very crisp and my portion had a couple of large pieces of gristle in it which should have been spotted when it was carved.

Stopped for a brunch break on a quiet Friday morning. Three members of staff in the shack talking (loudly). Birds swooping down onto a table where someone had left food scattering it over the floor. Finally served after a wait, although no queue. The order was shouted through to the back where pre-cooked over-salty bacon was put in a roll. This was then sat on the counter whilst the server had a conversation with the two people behind her in the kitchen area. It's not the first time I've eaten here and I appreciate its 'fast food' but the costs are high and the customer service could be improved.

I never try and give bad reviews and just honest ones and rather not give a review than a bad one , however after going and having a hot dog as snack before we got home . I couldn't believe how bad the two hot dogs we had were , I generally like Jamie's italian and also fifteen in London which was lovely but I just can't believe anyone can charge what this fast food out let charges for such bad food . Maybe what I ordered was just not for me but can't see it being there for long as food was awful .

We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat whilst walking round the Bicester Village Designer Outlet and this looked the best place. My wife and I went for the Bacon and Cream Cheese Bagels...... they were Fantastic!! I even asked my wife to get the ingredients in when we get home so we could enjoy them all over again. The prices are a little high, but considering the price of everything else in the outlet village it was pocket change really. Definitely recommend grabbing yourself something from here if you can.

We ordered flat bread pitta with peppers, halloumi & butternut squash but unfortunately they were mostly sliced carrots, onions & lettuce! There were few red peppers, halloumi & butternut squash on top which were lost during transfer to brown paper bags. As someone else has said, food is served from a van and if you are lucky there are a small number of tables in front. You order at the counter and wait there whilst the food is being cooked.Snack type food including hotdogs, pulled pork flatbread 'pitta', pastrami roll and a decent veggie choice (today a flatbread 'pitta' with roasted peppers, hallumi).Food was delicious and filling, although other half moaned that the hotdog was too big for the bun. £6-7 per head for the food. Spending a day shopping a Bicester village is a welcome change from the normal shopping malls scattered around the uk . The Jamie Oliver fabulous feast is sooo not what you expect it's prices are reasonable and the food is gorgeous . When you walk around Bicester village there is obviously a level of high price shops that are extortionate to shop in this also relates to the majority of the food places that are equally expensive and value for money is little bad. Except there is a little shack with 4 wooden tables tightly squeezed in front of this hut . Now most people would look and give this a miss but Don't the food is wonderful . My son indulged on a breakfast muffin with egg and a hand made apple and sausage roll and these are not like the mass produced ones you see in supermarkets . My husband delved into a pulled pork wrap and from the sounds coming from his mourn while he was eating it I can only assume it was amazing . Me on the other hand is the fussy one of the bunch not really a pastry or bread eater but I decided to change my habits and try the New York pastrami brown roll , this was wonderful and I hand a side box freestyle salad . This a great value for money place with prices starting from £4.00 upwards . There are some criticism I would say about this place there is little too few tables to sit and eat at which I find off putting . If I'm paying for a meal to sit down I would like to sit down and eat not walk around the tables trying to edge closer to see which person is about to move so you can jump in their seat (while it's still warm) . I don't like the fact people with coffee and bottles of water hog tables while families and kids eat standing up as there is no room to sit . The biggest gripe I have with this place is the expensive drinks , a bottle if coke was over £2.00 which is pathetic especially if you bought it with food . My solution is if your buying food then drinks should be heavily reduced or for those prices you may as well buy a 2 litre bottle and open it up there . Overalls I would go back again and eat minus the drinks .

I have always trusted the Jamie Oliver name to stand for good quality food at a reasonable price. If this "Fabulous Feast" outlet is actually his work than I'm sorry to say that trust is misplaced. No matter how the ingredients are sourced, the prices charged for the content of these meals is little more than a rip-off. I do try to eat responsibly and can honestly say I can name many eateries that are able to source local, organic ingredients without having to resort to charging £6.50 for a salt beef bap. This is not fine dining, it's a bap and a coffee in the open air.Just to put a cherry on the cake the staff managed to give half our order to the table following us which meant I have to eat my food to stop in getting cold and then wait for the wife who had just got her order, A sorry would have been nice, but wasn't forthcoming. To quote Mr Oliver on his Fabulous Feast website "Our focus is on making sure that everything is spot on"Well Jamie, it's certainly not!!!!!!!

Having myself recently visited Fabulous Feasts and having had a great experience, I could not believe the poor reviews left here! Yes the food may be a bit dear, but you know by the Jamie name you are paying for top quality which is evident in the food! I had a salt beef bap which was lovely, and my wife a sausage stew which also was really good. My son had a sausage roll which we paid £3 for, but it had to be the biggest sausage roll I have ever laid my eyes on! The young girl who served us was very helpful and recommended both the dishes we chose to us, and was very chatty and smiley which added to our experience. She even gave us two free cookies before we left as she said they were just about to shut and they were only going to be thrown away. Overall great experience, only issue would be no indoor seating or cover so we had to stand at the counter and eat.

I hope this is really a Jamie franchise in name only. If not and he really does have a vested interest then he needs to hang his head in shame peddling this type of junk food, hot dogs! Especially in the light of his "mission" to get the nation eating healthily. Not a fantastic choice available but then again it is operating out of something resembling a shed. The sandwich ordered was supposed to be foccacia but resembled stale bread. One thing I can agree on though is Jamie's criticism of the native work ethic. The young, definitely English girl at the counter was clearly inconvenienced by my appearing at the counter as she was mid-way counting something. So much for the customer experience. It was a terrible wrench for her to lift herself from her demanding task to serve me.Awful, awful experience. Avoid.

We looked at ordering food but the girl was so offish & rude we just got drinks- I appreciate it was at the end of her busy day but that appeared too much effort. My cappuccino was like warm milk , I asked politely for another shot if espresso & she did this but looked so annoyed. Even her colleague looked awkward by how she was behaving too. We always enjoy a good 'dog' and we did enjoy our 'classic' dog and the BBQ bean dog. They were a good size sausage and came with tasty topping. However as other reviewers have pointed out, they are crazy money. £7 for a hot dog? Perhaps its justifiable if its was in a sit down restaurant with a side of fries and table service. But to sit outside with self service condiments etc, this doesn't make sense.

I've had a couple of really nice lunches from Fabulous Feasts before, and have always had excellent meals at Jamie's Italian, so despite the inflated price of £16 for two hot dogs and one drink, my husband and I decided to give it a go. My husband ordered the chilli hotdog which was basically a plain hot dog covered in raw chillies, and I had the pulled pork dog, which was a plain hot dog covered in cold pulled pork meat. I was surprised to find a Jamie Oliver restaurant (Burger van) at Bicester Village. My first reactions were, 'this should be good value for money and really tasty'. Oh how wrong I was.£5.95 for a hot beef hot dog with chilli, Sounds lovely can't wait. When I received my tiny little hot dog I thought they were joking. "I've just spent £5.95 where is my food I'm starving". So maybe what it lacks in size will be made up in taste......nope slightly above average taste. If you love being ripped off then carry on.

We visited the Bicester Village outlet center today, on a freezing cold April day. We wanted something hot to eat, so visited Jamie's food van in the center of the shopping village. The menu has been recently revamped, and the wraps have now been replaced by gourmet hot dogs. There are 4 hot dogs to choose from, and we had one with chilli and mustard onions, and one with pickled cabbage and red onion. I hadn't been to Bicester Village for some time and several catering facilities have sprung up in that time, some pricey indoor dining, some chain cafes and some outdoor kiosks. Finding the Jamie kiosk with outdoor seating, albeit limited, was like a little oasis! Pots of fresh herbs on the tables, a tempting display of homemade looking cakes on the counter and a fairly limited but nonetheless tasty sounding menu on the blackboard. I ordered the beef stew with allotment veggies, and that was served within a couple of minutes in a tall cup (rather like a takeaway coffee cup in size), with spoon and lid if I wanted to seek seating elsewhere (which may be the case on a busy weekend). As it was I got lucky and found a table in the October sunshine. The stew was delicious and well worth the £4.95, packed with tender beef and chunky veg, topped with little chunks of crisp potato. They also offered a chorizo stew, a couple of tempting soups (£3.95) and a couple of bread based snacks. The only disappointment for me was the lack of herbal teas. At least the bottled water was cold and at £1.20 not too pricey considering the shopping venue and its potentially loaded clientele.

It was a nice surprise to find a Jamie Oliver's little kiosk at Bicester Village. We ordered the Caesar salad with the beef topping and a seasonal salad with a pork jerky. Prefer the beef to the pork. The portion was really generous and ingredients fresh. I especially love the anchovies. The service is not great and in fact the cashier overcharged us. He was confused himself and it took us more than 5 minutes to sort it out. In the end we literally had to write down the price of our order and calculate it for him! My rating would have been very good but the service kinda drags it down.

We returned to this pub as we were visiting Bicester Village, we had been to the pub the year before and even then the customer service was not great. However, we went back as there was a big group of us so we could sit outside altogether. Drinks were ordered fine, however when it came to ordering the food we went inside again to order & there is one older gentleman bar tender who proceeded to ignore us and take everyone else’s order, 25 minutes until we had enough and stated ‘is anyone going to serve us’ it was stated abruptly as we were very frustrated but was not aggressive at all, this bartender then turned around and shouted at us that we were being threatening and for us to leave. We stated happily and left. Can’t believe how this man ignored us and then turned horrible after we were frustrated. We will never return!!!
