The ice cream was delicious and the staff was kind and organised it was a very busy day and the staff managed to get our order at a decently fast pace and there didn’t seem to be any issues with other customers orders. Overall great cafe !!👏👏👏

The flavours of each cream are boundless and constantly changing, since café owner James experiments with new flavours all season. Everything is made on-site using local ingredients. Even the vegan ice cream is made from oat milk, which is also made on site! Over my last couple of visits I managed to try the Kinder Bueno, Tiramisu, Mint Choc Chip (can't go wrong with a classic), Cranachan and Chocolate Orange. My partner recommends the Lavender & Honey - though has only seen it appear one time - or the vegan chocolate which is arguably richer than its dairy counterpart. I have been less than a handful of times, but by the end James recognised and knew me by name! Rather impressive considering the long queues his café amasses particularly on sunny days. Other menu items to try are the chili or tumeric lattés, or the newly-added milkshakes.

Came here as was walking our dogs and was tempted to try bubble waffle with vanilla ice cream, it was absolutely delicious! My double shot flat white was one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while. A nice find and I’m sure we will be visiting here more regularly as it’s nice spot to stop off at and relax. Highly recommended.

I spend nine days in Nairn and here the only not only drinkable but truly excellent espresso is served. Delicious fresh cakes, waffles and toasties - of course the artisan ice cream melts even the most frozen heart. Vegan and vegetarian servings are a treat. Lovely out door seating overlooking the small putting green and towards the beach/Moray Firth. James's Coffee Shop could be a reason to move to Nairn.

Home made ice cream - the best in town. Don't bypass the beach area without visiting and having an ice cream. You wont be disappointed.

We had amazing waffles at the cafe and loved sitting in the sun watching the putting but it wasn't long before my daughter was off to play on the nearby obstacle course! Lovely tea, hot chocolate and coffee. Service was welcoming and helpful.

The queues say all you need to know. Coffee, ice cream or waffles (especially waffles) you will not be disappointed, it is worth the wait and the blankets to put over your legs are a nice touch too.

This is a very popular place and I would say very highly regarded amongst the folk of Nairn. The chap who runs it is obviously passionate about trying to provide quality products. The coffee is certainly the best I’ve had in Nairn, as well as the surrounding area. Cake is excellent and I think (at least some of it) is sourced through Gateux Regal (a local cake producer). The waffles are amazing and made while you wait, and the ice cream homemade and very good indeed! Would go back again and again. I like the eco-friendly touches too and the fact that interesting local events are also advertised in the shop. Definitely go and visit!

Not only does this tiny coffee shop offer a big selection of great coffees and teas alike but it also is a top notch icecream parlour too! Ive have the good fortune to sample both, thanks to a week of variable weather! Blankets are provided if theres a nip in the air as you enjoy the fresh air - and perfect for dog walkers as it mainly outdoor seating. Lovely staff, with a relaxed vibe - this all makes for a lovely experience and only a stones throw from the beach!

Firstly the main stay of any good coffee shop - good coffee! Full marks here. Seating outside in chilly weather was no drawback, they have thought of everything - blankets, hot water bottles etc. Made for a lovely experience. We saw a review on Facebook so made a bee line after our journey from Leeds. Well worth it

Its a simple place, close by the sea, a modest little wooden structure with a history serving the nearby park and putting green, now turned into a outdoor café. But where do you think you can find a place that offers you comfy rugs and hot water bottles (Yes!) to keep you warm in the coldest of weather, which serves each and every coffee and homemade cake individually with a smile and a cheery word ?

Lovely setting overlooking the putting green and a childrens adventure park. What a great idea to turn this wee building into a cafe. Grandchildren loved the ice cream and we enjoyed some Septembet sunshine with a lovely coffee. Daughter tells me that they provide blankets and hot water bottles during the winter months ... a novel idea.

Saw a sign advertising artisan ice creams, so made our way to the putting green and found the small café. Wide range of ice creams in all different sizes, tubs, cones and wafers. We went for double tubs - Ferrore Roche and Raspberry Ripple - Kiwi Fruit and Raspberry Ripple. Sat at the table overlooking the putting green and thoroughly enjoyed the creamy, tasty ice creams. Before we left we bought two slices of cake for later on back at our hotel. That too was very nice - moist sponge with strawberry; pear; blueberry fruits. Thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream and cake. Very nice friendly staff serving excellent products.

Summer speciality is huge range of artisanal ice cream : queue last week was 50 strong (well, it was Nairn Games day!) I think the shop will revert to a cafe shortly - where they have wonderful coffee and cake, but also almond croissants (warm) and a range of tray bakes, all very yummy

Very good food and typical Scottish decor. Service was very attentive and friendly. The chef knows his craft. The steak, for the non-fish eater, was a treat.

We went for takeaway before getting ferry to Stornoway. Ordered an egg roll and bacon and egg roll. On opening when we got to our car we could not believe how poor they looked. Toasted stake rolls, overdone fried eggs and overdone bacon. Will not go back to this cafe again!

Popped in here recently on a trip through Wick to Dunnet Head - Got a cheese & tuna toastie and a latte which were both excellent. Owners were really friendly and the price reasonable considering the location - Have a feeling they could charge 2/3 times the price - being on the NC 500 - but choose not to. Will certainly return.

Visited today and ordered 2 drinks and 2 steak pie dinners. Service was fine but we could not eat the food. The meat was inedible. We couldn't cut it never mind chew it. The young waiter returned it to the kitchen, returned to apologise and agrred with us. Then he said there will be no charge... ....... really. Why would we pay when we had no food. Left and went elsewhere.
